#Body in White Industry
mohitbisresearch · 9 months
Text
The global Body in White market is undergoing significant growth driven by the burgeoning automotive industry and the increasing demand for lightweight, fuel-efficient, and environmentally friendly vehicles. The term "Body in White" refers to the stage in automotive manufacturing where a car's sheet metal components have been assembled but have yet to receive their final paint job or any interior fittings. This skeletal structure essentially embodies the vehicle's frame before adding essential components like the engine, interiors, and other finishing touches.

So I’ve been seeing a lot of posts addressing fatphobia, which is great, but some of them take a turn into shaming anyone with insecurities about their weight and basically telling them to get over it, which really isn’t helpful. Also, while I can totally understand not wanting ed blogs interacting with you, I feel like this site has started to moralize eating disorders without fully understanding why they occur. And just like it can be harmful to moralize addiction and other mental illnesses, I think it’s ultimately a bad idea to start moralizing eating disorders (i.e., treating people who have them like they can just choose to get over them), especially when you take into account that certain cultures or upbringings (such as abusive upbringings) can influence how you look at your body. It just seems like a lot of modern-day body positivity activism has lost a lot of empathy for other people and ignores the nuance of an individual's situation. Addressing your own body insecurities can be an incredibly personal and difficult thing, especially in a society that profits off of them, and if we keep ignoring the root problems of how they occur in the first place, I don’t think we’re ever going to fix them within our society.

Honestly don't really think putting Aziraphale in charge of Heaven is going to make a meaning change
Saw some people make the argument that he's doing it in order to make a change to help him and crowley out by making systematic changes
But the Metatron already kind of prove that that's not the point. He said that Gabriel's hearing that the fall of one Prince of Heaven makes for a good story but two would be an argument for institutional problems. And the other archangels agree insisting that there isn't.
Putting forth for the new head of heaven isn't going to change any systematic problems it's putting a blanket over the problems and insisting that things have changed
Like putting in place a better prison warden doesn't change the fact that it's a prison

Aro working retail culture is resisting the urge to commit a felony /hj
.
#Anonymous#aro culture is#aro#aromantic#actually aro#actually aromantic#ask#mod phoenix#same from a fellow service industry person#today at my workplace - across the street from a state capitol - we discovered it was a major meeting day for a lot of legislative bodies#because we are a coffeeshop. and do u know how fucking terrible it is to have a fucking sea of politicians staring at u from the line#in a *swing-state* with R legislators#so many of them acted like it pained them to have to interact with me and/or our shop#especially the white 30-something dudes who probably passed at least hmmm 5 homeless people walking to our shop#and despite being a white bougie kinda place we have an open door policy for said homeless to come in and warm up / freely use our bathroom#so i also got to see a lot of fun expressions when they'd suddenly realize there was someone sleeping in a corner quietly#wish i could have kicked several of these dudes where it hurts#there was also one person who i'd bet money was a dem and had the gay voice but was like. still a self-important white dude that somehow#found a way to be both friendly and clearly looking down on me#just. service workers :handshake: desire to commit a fucking felony#also quick pro-tip from ur local coffee-shop workers: if you are upset that we double-cup or use hot sleeves for ur coffee/tea cups#consider: don't! we are also handling them. the individual use of the plastic involved is something you should take up with corporate#not the workers who like to not get burned#such as me :) who got burned :) because the very fresh pot of coffee was hot and the cup wasn't as stable as usual and crumpled :)#and spilled coffee on me :)#at a fresh probable-205F temp#(not a bad burn - thankfully it wasn't much#just a lil redness#tbh the hot water for tea and americanos is so much more dangerous#since that's coming directly at 205 degrees out of the spout and possibly onto our hands (it sputters / leaks sometimes)

swifties talk about her like she runs a cult. they discuss her lore and predict her future like she's a tv series. they read into every costume change like it's a secret message she's sending to them specifically. they are literally deciding her fate using numerology. touching grass isn't enough for these people, they think she planted the grass and made it rain too

more and more often, I find myself falling in love with media for the potential it has to be good, not for what it actually is. That desire for something to be better leads me to create new details, new concepts and imagery to tie everything together into an actual theme, a real story.
I think that is ultimately the premise of fandom, taking something that is OK or even great and modifying it so its almost perfect. Rarely do you see media that is almost perfect develop a huge fandom, because there is so little to improve.
I love creating, I love seeing what others create, but also, there is something to say about watching a film or a TV series or reading a book that is so close to perfection that makes you want to sit in silence and reflect for a while. Something about experiencing a story that moves you in a way that makes words meaningless. Something that is beyond description, something that needs to be experienced to be understood.
I wish there was more of this. More stories that were created for the sake of telling a story and moving the audience, instead of created for the sake of making a profit. I wish we could fall in love with more stories for what they are, instead of what they could be.

The backlash against the Vicky Secret runway show is so interesting to me. Like...people was actually bitching about that runway being "too diverse" and for what? Even if they go back to hiring stick-thin, young, able-bodied models only and force them to go on restrictive diets that have them fainting backstage again, you'll still be disappointed because your issue is the degrade in quality of these garments and the unwillingness to tailor them to the body types of these models.

There's no age limit or weight limit on outfits that make you feel cute btw. And if it doesn't happen as often as you'd want, it's the fault of the fashion industry, not your body.

oh my god enough enough enough with unhealthy and ridiculous diets, enough with that BMI bullshit still being used by professionals to fatshame you, enough 'FrUiT iS uNhEaLtHy BeCaUsE iT hAs SuGaR', enough lying and bodyshaming in the clothing industry, enough '10 ways for women to lose weight fast' everywhere I fucking look, enough 'but I just want you to be healthy' when you actually mean that they're disgusting, enough with the word 'fat' being an insult, and enough with 'you've lost weight!' being a compliment, it is not a compliment, fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, fuck you
