So with the terrible Minecraft movie trailer dropping,

I've seen a lot of people bringing up better stories in the world of Minecraft, like Story Mode or the books or the SMPs, but may I add another option that would be a way better use of your time and money than the Minecraft movie (esp cuz its free)?

Animation Vs. Minecraft

(Note: contains out of context spoilers for this series to give you a sneak peek of what's waiting for you)

There's a good chance you've seen the first video, since it's one of the most watched minecraft videos on youtube, made by the same guy who did Animation vs Animator.

But did you know that the stick figures pick the game back up and continue the series?

There are now three completed seasons packed with fun episodic content that naturally blossoms into a larger, engrossing story that amounts to /several hours of animated content/. It's got fun characters, gorgeous fight scenes, and even musical numbers, all told with next to no dialogue!

The whole thing is a love letter to Minecraft, with way more passion and knowledge of the game than WBS.

New episodes would show off the latest updates, like when the main characters explored the ancient cities and lush caves before they were officially released.

There are even homages to the Minecraft animation community, such as the episode featuring Monster School (my favorite part of this is the way they purposefully imitate the old janky animation in Herobrine's movements)

Not a fan of piglins always being villains? While there's certainly some bad piglins in this series (though I'd argue they're under duress), the main cast also befriends some, include this adorable piglin child.

Still not over Reuben's death from MSM? Well they've also got a pig (named Reuben by the community), and it both doesn't die, and occasionally does some badassery himself!

Speaking of the action, this series doesn't just reference minecraft's world and creatures: it expands on the mechanics and worldbuilding, creating avenues for some truly incredible action that can only be achieved within minecraft. It takes full advantage of the medium and world.

My personal favorite example of this is the team's expansion on the Lucky Blocks mod, exploring the idea of a "randomizer" power to its fullest extent.

The action scenes are the kind where you have to watch them five times over because each character is doing something completely unique and fun.

All in all, this series is funny, gripping, and adorable, and is worth your attention far better than some corporate schlock.

It is a small comfort to realize that this will likely be one of the most well documented fascist takeovers ever. Like, despite the current administration's attempts to white wash every horrible thing they're doing the very existence of the internet means their efforts will have relatively little effect. If this doesn't turn people away from the democrat party then nothing will. Trump was not the only victim of this shooting. A couple of people were injured, an innocent person was killed and still the only thing we hear from leftists is annoyance that the shooter missed.

And while we are rightly angry at the spins the msm is putting on this assassination attempt, they have to put that spin on it or eat their words for the last 8 years. They've been characterizing Trump as a fascist tyrannical dictator since 2016. They've spun him to be Hitler 2.0 telling everyone he's a threat to democracy and leading people to believe he's a threat to their very lives. The "trans genocide" and "kids in cages" the "don't say gay" bill all that nonsense is always, always linked back to Trump and if they turn around now and condemn this attempt on his life what would that say about them? Either they will have to expose themselves as the liars and propagandists they are or they will have to be seen as being sympathetic towards literally Hitler. And narrative is more important to them than anything.

Which explains why they were trying to avoid reporting what happened like the plague. The headlines I saw in the aftermath, after we already knew Trump had actually been hit by the bullet were things like "Trump escorted offstage after gun shots were heard." "Loud popping noise heard at Trump rally." And other variations of that headline. And still leftists don't question why after Trump was shot every single mainstream media outlet had the same headline and they all avoided saying Trump had been shot or an assassination attempt had been made.

They can’t come out and say this was wrong because it will mean they will have to admit to something even worse: that they were wrong.

But of course the people currently in office can't come out and condone the shooting. That would look very bad. So yeah, it's good that Biden stood up there and said the right words and made an effort to contact Trump but how convenient that this happened a mere couple of weeks after the democratic party has abandoned and turned on Biden so his words and condemnation will be buried and ignored and mean nothing.

For the last 8 years, though, Joe Biden and every other democrat in office, paired with the media, have been villainizing Trump for his rhetoric. Everything bad thing that happened was directly the fault of Trump because of his "dangerous rhetoric." But the rhetoric they've employed against Trump and all conservatives since that time has been the worst fearmongering and slander I've ever seen so they are directly to blame for this shooting because of their rhetoric. No more "rules for thee but not for me." They have to live in the world they made.

Leftism, as I'm sure you've seen first hand what with your experience of being one and living in that environment, is no longer about what you support, it's just about who you hate. And every sane person still aligned with them is waking up. The mask has been slipping for years and most of us were able to see who they really were way before it fully fell off but there is no mask now. They're not even trying to hide it.

They have the ideas they pretend to support when told to, but all leftists are only united by one thing: hate.

Their heroes are criminals like Michael Brown, George Floyd and Trayvon Martin. And they hate police until they shoot and kill Ashli Babbitt who's only crime was being a Trump supporter at the capitol on January 6.

They still bemoan the killing of a pedophile, wife beater and injury of a career criminal who were shot because they tried to murder a child while villainizing the child they tried to kill because he successfully defended himself against their attack.

To this day they spin their violent riots as "mostly peaceful protests" while the January 6 protest was a "violent insurrection."

The rapes and murder on October 7 were a justified response to "occupation" but anything Israel does is "genocide."

During covid they freaked out about "public health" and wanted everyone vaxxed and masked to "save lives" but when Trump got covid they all immediately wanted it to kill him.

When a white boy shoots up a school it’s an example of how evil white people and right wing gun nuts are but when a trans person shot children at a Christian elementary school the main focus of leftists, all the way up to the White House, was the danger the trans community would allegedly be in from right wing retaliatory violence and how “hateful Christian rhetoric” was responsible for the shooting.

And none of this has anything to do with the values they claim to adhere to. All of their positions on every single issue come down to who it is they hate the most of the people involved. So their "values” change by the second.

So the violence, depravity and dangerous rhetoric is pretty much 100% on their side but watch them try and spin this assassination on Trump as Trump's own fault. And watch leftists just unquestioningly go with it or just try to distract people with more fear mongering about Project 2025 or something else stupid like that.

The only thing that bothers them about this shooting, other than the fact that the shooter "missed', is that this has pretty much guaranteed Trump is going to win the election. And of course they can't stand that after all they've done to try and make sure that doesn't happen.

“next rendition of chorus,” those of you who’ve been following this series a while may say. “but good lird whimsy you’ve already rebooted it twice! when will it end!”

OKAY! THIS IS NOT ANOTHER REBOOT! Think of it more as a little polish. While the last two generations meant mags and I completely rethought and changed up major things in the story and organization of Chorus, I’m calling this little revamp “3.5” rather than “4” because we’re keeping everything we had established with it for now but just adjusting some things and rewriting the currently public chapters, because I just feel like I can do better and present the story in a way I’ll be more satisfied with.

I am also moving Chorus from tumblr to AO3 (don’t worry if you don’t have an account, you’ll still be able to read it!) for various reasons, namely way better formatting, resources and chapter links that won’t break every five seconds.

This has been in the works a while and I’m already halfway through rewriting all the current chapters!! Hoping to keep this momentum, as we’ve garnered quite a following on discord and have been feeling more inspired and motivated to continue producing chorus content than ever. I just finished yfnsm and I'm still processing it.

Do I think it's (objectively) better written and developed than MSM? Heck yes.

Does it beat MSM as my favorite Spider-Man show? HELL NO.

I loved and enjoyed with all my being every single episode of YFNSM, don't get me wrong.

BUT one thing that made MSM so special to me was the development of Peter and Harry's relationship. Doesn't matter if you ship them or not, it is a reality that the first season of MSM was heavily based on the fact that Harry was Peter's best friend since they were very very young and despite that, Peter couldn't tell him his biggest secret. ALL BECAUSE OF NORMAN. In the Spider-Man vs Norman Osborn situation, Peter didn't want Harry to be collateral damage. However HARRY STILL WAS COLLATERAL DAMAGE. His project at the Horizon High expo, his inventions, his FRIENDSHIP with Peter AND his freedom all got caught in this situation and suffered indirectly because of Peter being Spider-Man. It also got reversed in season 2 with Harry faking an Europe trip to keep Peter safe and out of the Norman Osborn stuff. And in the end, in season 3 (if you can call that a season ig) Harry ended up taking Peter's side and choosing the opportunity to be FREE.

Yes, I loved the "Go get 'em tiger!" But nothing NOTHING can compare to Peter saying "My loyalty is to you, not to Spider-Man." Peter basically saying I'm more loyal to you than I am to myself.

THIS IS NOT ME THROWING SHADE AT YFNSM! It's just me being in love and absolutely obsessed with MSM. In case you internet people want to twist my words, I can like both iterations of the Spider-Man story and still have a personal preference and I have all the right to explain it here. It's my blog after all.

I could also make a post about everything I thought was great about YFNSM, but to do that properly I'd need a rewatch because I don't like to speak opinions out of pure memory of a show I only have watched once so far. About: the Wublins and their creator, Zerkett!

General info:

-All of the Wublins knew how to speak, walk, and do other basic things the moment they were woken up.

-Their creator, Zerkett, looked like your average yellow Wubbox when the first few were made. Zerkett later changed their appearance to the Clubbox costume since it fit the island better.

-Zerkett is a famous inventor all around the monster world, and many of the Wublins have become celebrities in different ways (Pop idol, actor, politician, influencer, artist, etc.)

-Wublin blood is neon blue.

-All of the Wublins go to a prestigious international school called St. Halleona, named after a rare Furcorn who founded and cared for the Halleberry forests and farms that reside in the state where the school is. The school is located in the state of Halleton on Plant Island. Almost every monster who goes there is rich/famous/has connections, which includes the Wublins. It’s like Ouran Academy in the monster world.

-Zerkett never meant for the Wublins to get so popular. They wanted to keep them a secret, but a series of events then occurred that made it so that EVERYONE in the Monster World knows about them. Blame Thwok.

-All of the Wublins have at least a decent amount of intelligence. Rare Zynth is an exception, because it acts more like a rogue critter who destroys farms rather than an actual monster. It doesn’t seem to have much intelligence or sentience, and Tympa cares for it alongside the Wollipogs.

-Wublin Island is at the bottom of the Monstriana Trench, and along with the perpetual storm, it gets REALLY cold there. I’m talking Cold Island climates.

-Some weird Zerkett-obsessed Reebro built submarines so that monsters could go down into the Monstriana Trench and stalk them and the Wublins. Laws had to be put in place to limit this kind of thing, but they never truly stopped it, much to their dismay. That Reebro is essentially a creepy yanheat (yes that’s a word) tour guide.

-As shown in Pixolotl’s bio, there is no castle on the island, as it was artificially made by an individual, so it wouldn’t be that big. All of the Wublin’s rooms are under the island’s surface, including other rooms such as a giant science lab, a private lab no one is allowed to enter except Zerkett, a library, a movie room, and a few separate bedrooms for guests and visitors.

-Many of the Wublins, especially Blipsqueak, have connections with humans in the Human World.

-When Wublins are first woken up, they look the way their appearance is in game, and they will continue to have that form no matter how old they get. They are essentially immortal, they don’t age physically whatsoever, as they’re artificial.

-Supernaturals don’t need to eat or drink, but they do it recreationally. They still need to sleep, though.

-Everyone on Wublin island talks really fast. This is because Zerkett also talks like that due to the concerning amount of coffee and sugar they consume, and the electricity coursing through their bodies.

-Some haters claim that the Wublins are “acelestic” (that’s monster talk for unholy) because they were created artificially, not by Colossals, Titans, or the Celestials. Others argue that their creator is a wubbox, a child of the Celestials, which makes the Wublins just as, if not more, “Celestic” (holy) than naturally occurring monsters.

Never Apologize To Monsters: Why Israeli PR Sucks And How To Fix It

For decades, Israeli advocacy was based on the premise that people should side with Israel because it’s less brutal to the enemy than it could have been. This is a terrible approach!

If you're harming someone who is not evil, no matter how little you're harming them, you are the bad guy and they are the victim. It’s like saying, “yeah, I stole candy from a child, but at least I didn’t punch her!” 

This is neither moral nor expedient.

If you do evil then you’re evil. Lesser, greater, it doesn’t matter. Evil is evil. Good people don’t side with evil, and rightly so. If you don’t believe you’re fighting the good fight then stop fighting.

The morally correct approach is to show the enemy is evil and that you’re doing everything in your power to make the world a better place by ridding the world of this evil. Stop boasting of how we sacrifice the lives of our brothers to minimize the risk to the people who danced on the corpses of our sisters. Stop boasting on how you warn mass murderers before dropping bombs on their head. 

This is pathetic. 

No one will thank you for that. Why should they? Have you ever thanked anyone for punching you in the face, but not as hard as they could? This is what brainless Israeli officials and MSM are doing. We all see how well it works.

If our fight is just, then we’re justified in doing everything to win. If our fight is unjust then it doesn’t matter how gentle we are, we’re wrong.

Instead, take pride in exacting just retribution. When you’re doing good, you have no reason to hold back. In fact, holding back when you’re doing good is something to be ashamed of because it’s literally protecting evil.

Goodness is not holding back. Goodness is not shooting and crying. Goodness is the uncompromising destruction of evil, without mercy, without doubt, but with joy and pride.

So stop apologizing to monsters and learn to say, “fuck these people.”

As someone who has spent the past year neck-deep in this political shit, Harris is in a much better place than Trump in this election. Not only have Republicans been flooding the news with junk polls (they released one that had a tally of 101% ffs) but down-ballot Democrats are killing their Republican counterparts. And there's nobody in Arizona who is voting for Trump for president and then voting for the Democratic Senate candidate Gallego.

Over 7 million people have already voted, and it's favoring Democrats. Trump has been consistently losing 10% of Republican voters since the primaries. Literally hundreds of Republicans have endorsed Harris. Trump would have to keep every single voter he had in 2020 and gain in order to win, and he's bleeding voters profusely right now.

Also, Harris has a legal team ten times the size of Biden's in 2020 and they're way ahead of the curve in staying on top of Trump's attempts to steal the election. They literally just scored a victory in Georgia.

Outside of the MSM (which is constructing a horse race for views), every single reputable sign right now is pointing to a Harris win.

I understand 2016 PTSD (got it myself) but pessimism doesn't help anyone and only discourages people from showing up to the polls. If people show up and vote, Harris will win in a landslide.
