To nobody's surprise, another AU!

Inspired by Letters to Juliet, they were childhood friends in the United States, and Hiccup had a hopeless crush on Jack he never really got over with. In the present day Jack is in Verona and helps writing responses to the letters people leave for "Juliet" (don't ask why. Fic logic.), until one day he reads one from a familiar adress. Well, it's time to find out if it's really his Hiccup, who's in Italy for a summer vacation.

This was just an excuse to throw them in an Italian setting, in Veneto specifically lol

After several people showed an interest through the Official Hijack Discord we are doing Hijack Week Summer 2025! Although a bit later in the summer than usual, due to the spur of the moment decision.

Day 2 (Aug. 4): Role reversal AU (Hiccup as a spirit and/or Jack as a viking)

Day 3 (Aug. 5): Dragon Warlord Hiccup and Prince Jack (Jack is sent as tribute/arranged marriage/peace treaty arrangement)

Day 4 (Aug. 6): "Please don't leave me"

Day 5 (Aug. 7): Myths/Folklore

Day 6 (Aug. 8): Love letters

Day 7 (Aug. 9) Cursed immortality (One lives forever, one doesn't but is reincarnated)

Basically anything you can create based on our two lovable dorks. Yes, exactly. I want to be myself but like the version that's more likeable, social, funny, approachable, and maybe even a bit "commercial" in the sense of not only being social but also someone who manages to monetize being myself. I wanna dress in a way that attracts people and make them like me enough to buy my art, and in some way just be "that bitch" everyone wants to be like while still maintaining my core. Oh, this came to me while watching the movie that saw the birth of this ship and then telling my mom "I'm sure Max had to take care of Huey, Dewey, and Louie at some point" (I mean, there's the Powerline moment in DT17 and a joke about the triplets in AEGM) + my desire to draw something Maxley because of binging As Goofy As Can Be-

I just finished watching the show and although I loved it, it also angers me a ton that there's 1 token gay and 1 token lesbian in this show. It also felt like an "inclusive check list" move. I would have loved if Majo was the lesbian one because although stereotypical, it'd make sense with her character arc and IT INFURIATES ME that she ended up with that mf SIMP of a character that existed only around her.

Well well. In a plot twist absolutely no one saw coming (and I mean this in the most serious way possible), there is apparently now ONE (1) lesbian in season 2 of Las Bravas FC. I wanna say "too little, too late," especially since, while sweet, the reveal was kinda half-assed and poorly executed, and it's not like it's a relationship that can go anywhere given that they seem to live in different cities, but in the interest of not being a total drag, I will say that at least they had the self-awareness not to have the lesbian be the rando, no1curr new player that was added this season (especially since she's insufferable (although she did get a reality check/personality transplant in episode 3, so perhaps that will improve going forward)) but, rather, one of the OG Bravas whom we've known and loved since season 1. I also appreciate that she's such a lovable character, as well as a "not conventionally attractive" one, so that is at least more relatable. Still, I barely remember what her story arc was in season 1, so this still feels like tokenism, but I can't really expect much more from this show, sadly.
