Another BP/HH/Gen answer dump as usual starting with BP and then moving into the other two \o/
All demons age about the same rate as humans (although with earlier milestones as babies) UNTIL they hit their 30s-40s after which aging slows down drastically 🙂↕️
Izm chasing you down to get .D back like
🤔 You guys sometimes really make me think about things I don't often have to think about LOL. I'm just gonna do the gang this time so off the top of my head:
Izm and .D are often eating sushi in my drawings and since I'm pretty sure Izm is mainly the one buying, sushi is his fave. He'll eat any type but he prefers the raw fish ones.
Whilst .D also likes sushi, it's not his fave dish. His fave dish is pasta in a red sauce (like Sugo or Arrabiata) for some reason. Nostalgia maybe?
Zeke is a meat and potatoes kind of guy, so, a nice juicy sirloin with mushroom sauce and a side of roast potatoes and veggies. (BP!Zeke is similar but he really likes pork/bacon particularly, so a pork roast for him probably).
Wei Ren's comfort foods are chicken congee, and seafood steamboat/hot pot.
Marcus' fave is his mom's chicken casserole.
Oh I'm glad (and thank you very much)! I hope you get lots of inspiration and can create a lot of things :D
Hm, that's a good question! I think, for doodling purposes, my fave is Rire mainly because Rire always looks more or less completed in black and white. My other two faves are .D and Izm - .D is a good exercise in subtle expressions whereas Izm is the complete opposite (esp with BP!Izm with that mouth).
Yes. I mean, I'd prefer you be at least 15 for those two things only cos if i had to age rate them they could be considered M or MA15+.
Hullo! The short answer is that there are also "not normal" skin tones, it depends on the demon species :)
The rest of society is pretty standard so yes there are charlatans in the world of BP lol. HOWEVER, no one would pretend to be a BP for three distinct reasons:
You need to be sanctioned to be a BP (ie they have abilities that normal people do not, like being able to perform exorcisms.)
There is no profit to be had as BPs generally don't get paid (all their living expenses are generally covered by their religion's HQ).
It's dangerous work. You'd have better luck being a bank robber.
Desmond is def a club music kind of guy XD EDMs, techno, trance, hardstyle, house, whatever - the kind of stuff you jump energetically up and down to at a club/concert/rave, he'll listen to it.
Not yet for BP (soon...🙏🏻). HH wasn't really a comic series so much as a bunch of somewhat random one shots I did for fun lol.
^ you guys :d
I don't put my pronouns anywhere partly because it is lowkey amusing for me to see how people perceive me online. It doesn't really matter to me, so go with your best guess lol.
You would be surprised at how much time those two hobbies can take up outside of work |D; I also like doing puzzle games (like Quordle etc), coding, going for walks/bike riding, making slightly odd food combos in normal recipes and freaking out my friends on Discord with them, and watching horror/disaster films and playthroughs of horror games.
Maybe one day I would, but not at this particular time, sorry!
Thanks for asking as this is a bit of a grey type area! Personally, I think that as long as this is purely for your own use and you aren't going to on-sell it in any way...then it should be ok. I'm going to categorise something like this as somewhat similar to say...people printing out my art to stick to their wall type thing. Of course, if you ended up buying a bunch and then thought oh i have so many extra I'll sell them to whoever wants them - that would be a no no.
In what capacity lol if there's something I've learned from real life it's never agree or disagree to anything without knowing specifics. Eg if you would like to use my art as a PFP on tumblr then you can if you credit it, but if you want to use my art as a face claim for your own charac then i would have to say no, etc.
That makes two of us as i am not familiar with the twisted wonderland universe :P
.D: Diasomnia
Izm: Pomefiore
Wei Ren: Ignihyde
Zeke: Savanaclaw
Marcus: Diasomnia
I never really specified one so my friends and I have been calling it the fictional city of Hedone lol.
I haven't given up on HH, i just dont draw it nearly as much since i'm focussing on developing BP :) Anyway HH wasn't seriously planned to be a comic or anything (though technically...it does have a very loose storyline that I've alluded to in some drawings |D ) so it's something I can just jump back into and doodle whenever i feel like.
This was from a while back
It's pretty straightforward HH is a slice of life 'verse where my main characs are in an all boy's boarding school and Rire is the headmaster. It focuses on the boys shenanigans though so if you specifically like Rire you will be disappointed as he's barely in it.
I cut off this post cos I dont think the stuff in it should be shared with other random people even though anon is on anon. If this is you anon i hope you are doing well and i would genuinely encourage you to talk to someone about certain things (like a therapist maybe).

haikyuu!! x male reader
chars: miya atsumu , hinata shoyo , nishinoya yuu
what they have planned for your first anniversary together.
fem aligned DNI
MIYA ATSUMU — ★ dinner date !
lets be real for a second. atsumu's hardly the romantic type. he's used to girls fawning over him left right and center, but now that he's actually dating someone?
catch him looking up date and gift ideas online
this guy has no clue what hes doing! so naturally (after arguing with osamu about what to do. . .) he goes to ask kita what he should do for your first year anniversary!
que him coming up to you after he's finished practice, asking if you want to go somewhere.
he's the type to blindfold you halfway through the walk and drag you along thinking it's a good idea (you almost get run over like three times)
FINALLY. . . you reach your destination! he made a reservation at your favorite local restaurant for dinner :)
you both sit next to each other in a booth because sitting across from people when you eat is overrated !!! im speaking my truth!!
tsumu will gift you something volleyball related . . . the little freak (affectionate)
he gets you guys matching keychains!! yours has his jersey number , and his has yours ! (unless you don't play a sport, then he just has your lucky number)
you both get ice cream after dinner n spend the night at his house , cuddled up in bed together <3
he gets made fun of by the team the next day when you tell them about it
HINATA SHOYO — ★ park date !
hinata's kinda similar to atsumu in the sense that he has no clue what to do
he asks the third years on the team and yachi for advice
yachi's best piece of advice was "to do something that (name) and you will both enjoy!!"
. . . so he decides to take you out to the convenience store and get meat buns for lunch
you tell him thats not even romantic and he gets a little defensive about it
his logic being that he feels super comfortable around you so he feels he doesn't have to do anything extravagant!
and its cute, yeah . . . you can't really argue with that
you just spend the day hanging out together at the park! you see some ducks, pet some peoples dogs, play with some stray cats
he tries to sneak a little volleyball in there too (unsuccessfully)
at the end of it you both head back to his place and have dinner with his family :)
NISHINOYA YUU — ★ beach date !
noya's been planning this since the day you started dating
he avoids you like the plague all day at school, vaguely communicating through tanaka
he's thankful your anniversary falls on a day there isn't practice, so he can drag you home the second the bell rings to get a change of clothes
thats right guys . your man's giving you the beach episode we never got !
is it an excuse to see you in your swimsuit? obviously!! who do you think he is?
even if you're wearing a t-shirt and pants he'll love it
because regardless of what you wear, the second noya sees you laughing, splashing water with your hair wet? oh he's a goner
you both go to one of those stores that sells pretty rocks and buy beads that match each others eye colors to make bracelets <3
(he spent hours trying to figure something out with asahi's help)
you both fall asleep on the bus ride home and almost missed your stop
can you tell i love noya guys 😓 anyways i hope you liked this !!

https://www.tumblr.com/xclowniex/766162075699576832/i-saw-a-tik-tok-of-a-news-piece-of-a-woman-who-was
I feel like these kinds of online types who love talking about the evils of the bourgeois would love to be a new elite class in their hypothetical utopia.
They don't hate the whipcracking taskmasters because whipcracking taskmasters are bad, but rather that THEY aren't the ones who get to do it to those they see as lesser and undeserving.
No cause literally this.
We see this so much with jews. Everyone advocates for progressive policies and ideologies, ☝️except they don't apply to jews.
And it's not a Jewish specific affecting thing.
We see it with so many other things. Like with voting. "I don't like either candidates policies 100% so I'm not going to vote and you shouldn't either if you really care about insert issue" like one candidate is obviously worse, and the less worse candidate is going to lose if you don't vote for her, which means less rights for every body.
"Fast fashion is bad and anyone who supports it is also bad. Just thrift or but from sustainable branss" however they fail to understand that being poor is expensive. If you can't afford something expensive which is higher quality, you buy low quality fast fashion which because it's low quality, falls apart before you can save up for something higher quality. Not to mention thrifting isn't always size inclusive, as it's literally donated clothes and people buying things which are too big to thrift flip into something more stylish and their size also makes the problem worse.
"Buying leather is bad, it was once a cow" however vegan leather is literally just plastic and breaks easier and quicker than actual leather. If we are going to eat meat, which ignoring the fact that diet should be a choice, some people need to eat meat to get enough iron or amino acids and everyone being meat free isn't realistic from a health perspective. And therefore we should be using the whole cow instead of wasting parts of it.
And lastly, plastic straws are one of the prime examples. Yes they are bad for the environment but there are disabled folk where they are the best straw for them.

SVT with a vegan partner
Requested? Yes!
Request: ‘Hi! Just started your blog the other day, and immediately love it! Especially your writing for Seventeen. Speaking of them...can you do a reaction of them finding out their s/o is vegetarian/vegan? I once heard that being vegan in Korea, is quite uncommon, so I can imagine what heir reactions would be. So please and thank you, also take your time.’
A/N: I had to do a little research on this, partially because I have never been on a vegetarian or vegan diet and partially because I was interested in what that would be like in Korea since the requester mentioned it. Interestingly, veganism is not something that is widely understood in Korea despite it not being unpopular. In fact, there wasn’t even a word for it in Korean until the last decade or so? This article was super helpful if anyone is interested.
Initially thinks you’re just a creature of habit - Seungcheol, Wonwoo, DK, Vernon
At the beginning of your relationship, he just sort of thinks you prefer to live off things like rice porridge or cold soybean noodles because you really like them. Or maybe you’re just a picky eater, and that’s okay. He doesn’t mind to keep the kitchen stocked with the things you like. But when you explain that you’re actually vegan and just have a hard time finding things that are vegan-friendly, he sort of just goes, ‘oh!’ He’s interested in hearing more about it, if only so he makes sure he always buys things that you can have.
Equal parts confused/devastated when you have to turn down something he makes - Jun, Hoshi, Mingyu, Seungkwan
Have you guys seen the kimchi addict that Hoshi is? Well, imagine turning down some homemade kimchi. You have to delicately tell him that because it likely contains fish sauce and shrimp paste, you can’t have it. All of these guys would have a ‘what? 😢’ sort of moment. But when you explain that you’re vegan and what it means, he has a newfound determination to alter all of his recipes to make it something you can eat. He becomes an expert in substitutes for animal byproducts that can emulate the taste or texture that a certain recipe requires. Even if it doesn’t always turn out the best, it’s truly the thought that counts.
Does some serious research and specifically picks restaurants that have something for you - Jeonghan, Woozi, Minghao, Chan
The first time you go out together, you tell the waiter that you are vegan; therefore, you can’t have meat, fish, dairy, or eggs. He can tell the waiter struggles with finding something that meets those requirements, and he sort of hates that you have such limited options when he takes you out. So he puts his mind to doing extensive research on anywhere that he thinks to take you out to eat. He quickly realizes that some places advertise themselves as vegan but have only a handful of options. So he’ll pour over the menus online and maybe even call with questions before ever mentioning it to you.
Might not struggle with this as much as others - Joshua
I put Joshua in a separate category only because he spent the majority of his formative years in the US, where there seems to be a pretty good understanding of veganism, in my opinion. So when you tell him you’re vegan, it wouldn’t be such a foreign concept to him. He might still have to do some research to get a better understanding of the intricacies that a vegan diet requires, but he’ll have more of a head start than a lot of other members.

Meal Prep 101: Getting Started
For the past few months, we've been struggling to avoid takeout and honestly, gotten a bit too dependent on it. I want to stop that and make at least 90% of meals at home. The rule we're trying to set for ourselves is to only have take out once a week.
My husband is fine eating the same thing over and over again, I need variety cause I get bored quick.
This post is meant to explain my planning process and hopefully help those of you who may be struggling with similar issues. This series is a "this is what helps" guide and not so much a how to cook guide but as long as you can find recipes you like this should still work. I am not coming at this from a diet perspective either, this is very much focused on being practical, making use of what we have, and having stuff that's easy to reheat so that we don't feel like we have to resort to take out.
First things first is to take inventory of EVERYTHING. Well, maybe not everything but pretty close to it. (This includes the stuff you shoved to the very back corner of your pantry/cupboards) This is a great opportunity to get rid of expired or stale goods or prioritize any goods close to expiring. I like to write down a categorized list like so.
As you might be able to tell some things are missing, i.e oil, butter, spices, bread. The only reason for that is because these are things I commonly use and reach for so I don't feel the need to track it. You know your kitchen best, so adjust as needed.
This list can also be helpful to determine what you have enough of and what you should restock on. This might help you keep a backstock of shelf stable food.
If you have things that are close to expiring, how can you use them? How can they fit into a meal? Got some veggies that are going bad? Can you stick them into a stir fry? Roast them? A stew? A soup? Chop them up and freeze them for later? Personally, meal prepping is also about reducing food waste.
The thing that has made meal prepping easier is finding common ingredients in recipes. Especially when it comes to fresh veggies or meat. It minimizes the chance of ingredients going bad because you took too long to use them.
Establish your guidelines and goals before you start.
Fruits tend to go bad in our house before we eat them. To combat that, if I know I'm not gonna have the energy to wash and cut them, I don't buy them during that shopping trip. If I do buy them, I make myself wash and cut them within 2 days of buying. I also learned that if I don't put it in a clear container, it gets ignored.
I don't like to let cooked food sit in the fridge longer than 3 days. Keep that in mind when making food and plan ahead. If you don't want to freeze food be mindful of how much you cook and if you are gonna freeze make sure you have the right containers or storage bags. Make sure you have a way to label and date anything you freeze. And if you're gonna freeze anything portion it out! You don't want to end up with a giant brick of food to defrost or chisel away at.
When I shop I want to make sure every ingredient has a purpose/use. Planning out what I'm buying helps me not end up with a bunch of food items I don't know how to put together into a meal. Ordering groceries online also makes it easier to stay on track.

This is going to sound mean but I don't believe it when het radfems talk about how good their bfs are. They could be lying. This is the internet, they could be lying or they could be overlooking their bfs misogyny to make a good post. I don't believe your bf is a feminist alley and I think you don't believe it either. You're just telling that to yourself bc some people online hurt your feelings and made you question your decisions. And it's not a nice feeling so you get defensive.
And listen, I personally don't care if you call yourself a radfem and you have a bf. But if you have any knowledge about radical feminism you know we're critical of men, heterosexuality and marriage. Don't come to our spaces and expect full acceptance. We will question you, we even question our own choices. You can't complain about radfems criticizing your relationship when you know what you are getting into. Like coming to a vegan party with meat and expecting people don't look at you weirdly.
I think it's ridiculous some het radfem will come here, see others saying "yes all men" and jump to say "not my bf" because what are the chances you, a random woman, happen to find a good decent man. Come on. Be realistic. Don't expect others to cuddle you. You're heterosexual, if you don't like to be questioned then go outside! There's nothing people love more than a woman happily providing her bf with emotional and sexual labor and saying he's the best man ever!!!
literallyyyyy!!! i’m sorry but every het-partnered woman on here speaks high praises of her boyfriend/husband. like no one on here is like “yeah my boyfriend is somewhat misogynistic and he makes me do most of the housework and uses the word bitch and thinks the pay gap is a myth” or whatever… no he’s always the best man ever who does everything right somehow. i don’t blame them for framing their men in this way because as you said, they’re defensive. but i don’t buy that every het-partnered woman on radblr seems to be dating the same perfect most feminist male possible. i don’t particularly care either bc i’ll never know their amazing boyfriends/husbands anyways, i just don’t get why they have to claim to be radfems at the same time

Hi, I'm trying to do art commissions, but no one has commissioned me yet. Do you have any advice for attracting customers?
I wrote a lot of words for you in hopes that at least some of it will be helpful, so I'm putting the bulk of this answer below a read more to save people the scrolling. The quick and easy two tips that I find people forget to do the most are:
Is your art easy to find? Having a pinned post with a tag for your art, a link in your bio, or an art-focused / reblog-light blog (like this one!) make it so that people know you draw, and knowing you've been posting art for a while makes you less likely to be a scammer.
Is your commission info easy to find? People can't buy things that they don't know you're selling; clear and accessible links to your prices and terms are important.
Now for the real bulky meat of advice giving, where I say a lot of words that may or may not be relevant:
I have a lot of advice, but I do want to say before getting into it:
A lot of selling art (especially in a non-industry setting, like with social media commissions) is luck.
There is no one size fits all method for selling art, and it's best to go with what feels right to you (I'll go more into this later)
Tips for selling are not necessarily tips for creating, and there will be advice in here that I don't apply to myself. Determining what you do and do not implement is something you should decide for yourself and your work flow.
Your art not selling doesn't mean nobody cares about it.
Personally I think the idea of intentionally curating a single subject demographic of Customer and Consumer for your work is limiting and doomed to burnout in a non-industry space. I will also touch more on this later.
Now for the rest of it in varying orders:
✨ Attracting Customers
This one is going first because you mentioned it specifically. It is kind of vague though, by nature of the term, so what I advise doing is specifying.
When you are thinking of a customer, are you trying to appeal to:
People who will buy pre-made art products? (Pins, stickers, prints, etc)
People who will buy custom work? (Commissions for specific subject matter)
People who will buy art resources you've created? (Fonts, bases, texture packs, 3d models etc)
There's also frequency: a repeat customer of custom art will usually be appealed to more by a wide range of options (like illustrations), while you might get more single-purchase customers if you only offer a limited range of options (like only icons).
Demographics also, of course, play a substantial role in just custom art commissions; furries get lauded as high spenders, but they're also a huge community that is focused around OCs, so by statistics alone they will have more people with spending money and will be frequent customers of people drawing OCs. A narrower audience means fewer people, but often the spread of the people within that audience is the same - and at the end of the day, selling an art piece only requires one other person, it's just a matter of happening to find them.
The follow up question is of course the finding: the average artist in fandom spaces selling commissions does not have the platform or budget for an ad campaign. This, however, is also its own category:
✨ Posting Online
Right out the gate: anyone who has told you that just drawing x thing is the way to get easy money is wrong.
"If you draw more fan art, you'll -" wrong.
"Nobody cares about that, you should be drawing this instead -" wrong.
"if you need to sell fast, just sell porn -" wrong. And also re-evaluate your perceived lack of quality or value about the subject.
The things you will be able to create easily and consistently will be the things YOU, SPECIFICALLY, like to create. It is also entirely impossible that you are the only person on earth to have ever liked those things, which means that if you create them, there are people out there who will enjoy them.
It feels itchy to be like "and those people are Potential Customers", but it is true; your work will resonate with people. They will want you to create it. It is vitally important to your own well being that the things you create, that you want others to enjoy, are things you enjoy as well.
(This is also why the "just draw porn" joking advice that gets tossed around is particularly fucked up. You as the artist should not feel forced into drawing things you aren't comfortable with, and the vast majority of customers for explicit content also don't want the people making it to feel forced into doing so. It's basic consent. I have strong feelings about this.)
If you are creating things and putting them out into the world, they will find an audience. That audience may be one singular person! The number does not matter, because that's still a person who - again, sucks to frame ig this way - has the potential to buy things from you.
If you're constantly chasing a bigger follower count, more interactions, etc etc for the future, it can genuinely be pretty taxing on the people who want to support you in the present. When you enjoy someone's work, and want to support them, being told constantly that that support is not good enough is frustrating. Trying to follow your work should not lead to seeing more "likes are WORTHLESS and NOBODY reblogs my things" posts than it does art. You are a person making things to share with other people, and you have to remember it or you will burn yourself out into a desiccated husk.
TL:DR consistency is key and the easiest way to be consistent is to just draw whatever the fuck you live drawing in whatever ways you want to draw it, and then slap it on the internet somewhere and Keep Doing That
✨ The Actual Commission Information
this one is just factual really. A lot of artists have really shitty commission sheet layouts, because advertising graphic design and illustrative art are different skill sets. That's fine. You don't have to remake the wheel. A good commission sheet should include:
More images than text (if you can't see what the examples are when zoomed out, you have to rearrange or cut down on words)
Examples organized by price / type, and clearly labeled
Your personal favourites for examples - one really strong example piece is better than twenty tiny images of work you think is just "okay"
Contact information - having a method that works WITHOUT a social media account (email.) Is important and way easier to keep organized, imo
A SIMPLE list of strengths (the things you draw the best) and things you won't draw (common example: mechs). You do not need to list every fandom or subject matter. Limit yourself to a top five.
A clear and easy to type link for your terms of service. Carrd, and sites like it, is good for this. This will go into details about your process, what you will and won't do, permissions granted to the commissioner (like "no, you can't make an NFT with this"), your privacy policy (saying you won't sell commissioner details to third parties), and other stuff. You do not want to have all of this on your original post, because it should be thorough and you want your main post to be showcasing your work and not your legalese. Here's mine as a reference; if you have trouble writing your own, feel free to copy from it and make the necessary alterations for your work.
✨ There Was More I Was Going To Write But I Forgot
I have a different document of commission related talk here, which is also incomplete but in a different way. It's in my nature. Hopefully some combination of this and that can be useful to you. Sorry if they're not. I love you have a nice day
