The Worlds Finest Meet Kingdom Come Counterparts

The superheroes from Batman/Superman: World's Finest are about to meet their counterparts from the Kingdom Come series in the upcoming 5-part "Heir to the Kingdom" story arc. "Heir to the Kingdom" begins with "The Golden Calf" story in Batman/Superman: World's Finest #20 from writer Mark Waid and artists Dan Mora, Tamra Bonvillain, and Steve Wands.

According to DC Comics, the "Heir to the Kingdom" storyline "teams up The Dark Knight and The Man of Steel with a jaded Superman, a broken Batman, a war-hungry Wonder Woman, and the other reimagined super heroes of the 1996 groundbreaking series written by Waid, with art by Alex Ross. In addition, this new arc features the return of Superman’s protégé, Boy Thunder." (DC Comics) This arc will take place before the events of Kingdom Come and will show how some of the characters evolved.

Batman/Superman: World's Finest #20 goes on sale on October 17, 2023. The issue features a main cover by Dan Mora and variant covers by Bjorn Barends, David Nakayama, Chrissie Zullo, and Daniel Sampere.

Hey fellow Nightwing fans!

I know yesterday was a terrible day for his fandom due to the "Nothing Butt Nightwing" webtoon

However this weeks also brought us:

1. The conclusion to the current Nightwing run ( issue #118) and the next issue which marks the beginning of the new run is only a week away ( two issues on the same month is a blessing)

2. Batman & Robin: Year One where we get the original dynamic duo back !!

3. Batman/Superman: World's finest issue #32 for all those who need more Robin! Dick with his two superhero mentors dads

4. Titans issue #16 for those who want to see Dick interact with all his best friends ( and fellow team members).

And if you want to read a light hearted webtoon featuring Dick Grayson, Wayne Family Adventures uploads a new episode per week ( and Dick has recently been on the spotlight a lot).

And send your thoughts and prayers to me who wants to make so many posts about all these interesting comics featuring my favourite boy but I can only make a few per day :/

Another World's Finest comic art study featuring Bruce and Clark because these are really fun, actually. Switched up the colouring/lighting style to something looser and sketchier as an experiment. Not quite sure how much I like the result, but it was fun to play with.
