Barty watches in amusement as Regulus paces back and forth across their lounge room, waving his arms about as he rants about his date with James.

“He invites me back to his place, so I assume we’re maybe gonna have a little fun, you know?” Regulus laughs sarcastically, “Oh no, he pulls out a guitar and starts singing at me. Singing at me, Barty. Who does that?”

Barty’s lips curve up in a smirk he’s given up on hiding and says, “Mate, you’re blushing. Admit that you liked it, at least a little?”

Regulus collapses back on the couch, voice muffled by the arms thrown over his face as he groans, “Oh god, I did. It was so endearing and I hate myself for it.”

Barty cradles Evan in his arms, rocking him gently back and forth. 

“Shh,” he whispers, cocking his gun with one hand. He leans down to kiss Evan’s forehead. “It’s alright, my love.” Evan’s breathing is uneven and ragged. His eyes stare up into Barty’s, and Barty can sense his fear. He hears shouting getting closer. “It’s okay, darling,” he says, hugging Evan to his chest and pointing his gun at the door. “We’ll get you out of here. I’m not losing you tonight.”

Did yall know that in the scene where Barty is in the stands for Karkaroff trial in Goblet of Fire it actually didn't happened. In fact, in the books it shows Barty acting skills (many will argue that it hints to him never being apart of the longbottoms torture but.. 🤷🏻‍♀️) since he's actually in his own trial and never gets to see Karkaroff trial because if im not mistaken when Karkaroff trial happens... Barty is already in azkaban.
