😌 - Someone gently brushing their hair

It was rare for them to be this calm. Their heart didn't race, their body didn't tremble, and Sherbet was completely calm, laying at their feet and gnawing on a bone.

Behind em was Santiago, strong hands gently working through their hair with a brush and a comb. He wasn't exactly a master at handling hair- especially since his short, spiky black hair was a completely different texture from the long, soft orange waves- requiring completely different levels of maintenance. But, Ermengild appeared content, even a little sleepy, their eyes closed either from content or to protect their eyes while eir glasses were off.

Or maybe it was the permanent heavy eye bags skewing his perception of their expression.

Shortly, Santiago pauses his brushing, slowly, gently moving his hand to cup their cheek. Ermengild flinches for a moment, before melting into his hand and letting out a sigh of content.

"... Th-thank you, S-Santi..."

Santiago smiles. Ermengild smiles, too, opening their red eyes a little and meeting his gaze for just a moment, before closing eir eyes again. Santiago resumes his gentle care, slowly working out the knots and taking his sweet time with his beloved partner.

I wanna see a Batman/Batfam identity reveal fic, where Bruce hasn't told the Justice League about the Batfam or who he is under the cowl but goes to a Justice League team party anyway, because Dick convinced him to. Only, it's Brooklyn99 Santiago Drunkenness scale, so with each drink, Batman keeps getting weirder. And, of course, Dick and Jason and the rest of the Batfam are completely aware, but Bruce denies that it's a thing at all. Because the first two drinks just make him Brucie Wayne, and he has enough control that if feels like he's not drunk.

So drink one makes him 'charming socialite', all smiles and relaxed and knows just the right thing to say. He compliments Barry on his work with Star Labs, and tells Diana how amazing her most recent exhibit has been.

Drink two make him flirty, and he just can't help but run his hand along Clarks broad shoulders, or even tease Hal about other things they can do with his ring.

Dick and Barbara are eating popcorn and watching the League loosing their freaking mind. Until they realize that Bruce is going for a third.

And the third drink, it makes Bruce talk about his kids. He's gotta talk about how amazing his kids are. Thankfully, he isn't drunk enough to use names, but he's talking about "oh, my oldest son is so talented, he's a trained acrobat!" And "My baby boy is so amazing, he loves animals so much!"

Nightwing bursts into the Watchtower room where they're having this party just as Batman downs his fourth drink. The League all jump up, thinking there's an emergency, but Bruce is already on drink four. And four makes him clingy with his kids. So Batman is suddenly on Nightwing, hugging him and cooing and asking Nightwing to "please don't leave again, you're my boy, my precious first baby, and please don't leave." And the League is loosing it, because omg, what the hell.

Nightwing tries to make excuses because he knows what happens on drink five, and he needs to get Batman out before- only Bruce snags another drink and downs it before Dick can move, and Bruce is talking again. Because five drink Bruce is forgetful, and tends to mix up super and secret identities. "Dick? When did you get here? What are you wearing? Why is it so hot?" And then reaches up to take off the cowl and Dick tries to stop him but it's to late and Bruce Wayne is walking around, grabbing another drink.

Nightwing has no idea what drink six does, since they could never let Bruce get to drink five after the first time. But he can't stop Bruce because now he has to do damage control with the League and damn.

Notes:

Fantastic capture of this incredibly immersive and beautiful production. there is a bar in the bottom right corner of the screen that doesn't take away except for one moment where Gandalf and Frodo are talking on the stairs in act one, but overall I worked around it and you can always see Frodo and sometimes Gandalf. At points people are in the audience and I wasn't able to capture them but you can always hear them and I do my best to always try to make sure to capture anything in the audience that I could. Some washout and shakiness throughout.

Beautiful Capture of Abe, Larkin and Haley's last performance with the company. My camera was having a lot of issues for Act 1, 2 minutes is missing during ready set (still has audio), And then after every song there's a short 2 second blackout. Act 2 is perfect with no issues with my camera. Also the last US stop before a month break and then Mexico! Some washout and shakiness throughout.

Ermengild always tried not to get caught.

It usually wasn't difficult, having lived alone with no one but Sherbet for company for such a long time. But with Santiago back, this was... Near impossible.

"Ay, mi amor, you can't keep doing this to yourself..." That deep, strong voice, tender and loving to the trembling veteran, strong hands wrapping their upper arm in bandages with the gentlest touch. They squirm, even under those loving, deep, deep brown eyes, they felt scrutinized and afraid. Santiago gently shushes them, finishing the wrapping and holding them to his chest- heart beating strong beneath their head

"You're safe now. You don't need to feel pain."

With that, they finally began to sob, curling tight against him.
