However, fuck that my personal headcannon is she was maybe absent sometimes but that's it, because she was teaching her kid to destroy businesses to bathe in his enemy's blood.

To walk in and know he is the most dangerous person in the room.

Janet Drake brought Gotham to it's knees she scares Batman.

Sometimes Bruce catches sight of Tim and is transported back in time to the Gala where someone tried to fuck with Tim and watched as Mama Dragon fucking ended their bloodlines.

BAMF Janet Drake who took no shit and raised her kid to do the same. Tim was raised by a girl boss while Jack Drake was the useless man following after his wife.

The sound of her heels still haunts the nightmares of gala attendees.

so I once stepped into a fic about Janet being Ra's wife/partner but they like, stopped dating and Janet moved to Gotham and had Tim, only that Tim ls Ra'ses(? too and it was great, but it lacked the exploration of character, how Janet came to be, why would she choose the name Janet ?, her rise to power, did she met Ra's before or after the pits where discovered ?, she had her own league or some organization ?, the complexity of her relationship with Ra's, the things that had to be done for the legacy of their empire, the sacrifices made along the way, their children, Her children, their family, did she had/has sisters/brothers? Perhaps a twin?, the names that she once bore, does she knows Vandal Savage ?, does she has titles, lands, possesions to claim as hers ?, does she has offspring outside of the league ?, does she knows/uses magic ?, has she been a bride, a wife, a prisoner, a mother, a girl, a women, a goddess, a deity ?, so many things, actions, possibilities.

If someone would like to write about it please let me know, I would like to help you out if I can, or give u ideas, or like anything.

I don't remember the author of the fic I was talking first but I think it was Blue or Heartslogo, I don't remember, but don't worry I would search it up later so I can let the link and you will be able to read that masterpiece.

In this AU specifically, Jack is an asshole rich guy who viewed Janet (smart, cold, calculative, charming Janet) as a trophy wife.

Janet was fine with this. She's not a good person (Jack was an asshole, but not overall a bad person. Killing Jack was a wee bit fucked up, but fuck yeah. Good for her), but she is a good mom. She loves her kid and does everything she can for him. She has her own life outside of being a mom (which is healthy), but her kid does come first.

Tim gets many many stepmoms.

I read this quite a while ago but this still leaves such an impression on me. This is Tim getting the doggy love he’s always needed, which slowly leads him to the family he’s always deserved. As a ‘Tim Joins the BatFam Early’ story, this one is brilliant. Sweet, fluffy with just the right amount of angst but an excellent happy ending.

I cannot recommend this one highly enough! I truly believe this story is a hidden gem. I mean, it has dragons, Tim as a dragon rider, dragon hunters, the Bat Family as knights, grappling with right or wrong (are the dragons their enemies or not?), secrets and secret identities (if I remember correctly), and a big final battle. What more could you ask for? This is one is wild ride!

Since we are about to have three Mer AUs in a row, I thought it best to include another story in a different universe. Witches and Familiars might only come under the category of Animals/Non-humans if you squint but I think it's nice to have one more story that's not a Mer AU just in case you're not into that.

In this universe of witches and familiars, Tim is a familiar pretending to be witch because the Bat Family already have a familiar in Bruce and certainly don’t need another in him. He’s always hidden this by pretending to just be bad at magic/not found his skill yet. Only, it starts to become a problem when Dick and Jason notice issues with their magic from Tim supplying them with too much on top of Bruce’s existing contribution so they suspect Bruce is ill – dying! Now, the angst is nigh as Tim has to decide, which is more important, his security in the family through keeping his little secret or relieving everyone’s worries about Bruce's health… but risk him being thrown out. Useless, unneeded, a hindrance not a help.

Honestly, this is such a fun read! A brilliant one-shot that I highly recommend! Check it out.

He had a desperate, fleeting hope that he wasn't about to be murdered, but the shifting shadows around him weren't very promising.

This is a bit of an odd one. But it’s all in good fun. Jason is a pregnant mermaid/merman/merfolk/mer - yes, you read that right, he’s a pregnant cis male mer, but keep in mind he’s not human here so mer biology can work differently to human biology – and Tim is a mer specialist and, to a lesser extent Steph and Duke are humans helping him too. Throughout this story Tim and Jason bond as podmates (i.e. brothers of different species) even in the aftermath of Jason’s sexual assault by another mer as Tim fights for Jason to be released back into the ocean with his pod (in other words the other Bat Family members). If you are OK with pregnant Jason who has his baby in the actual story with allusions to his past sexual assault, then go ahead and try this one! Despite its odd details, it’s a good one and I do recommend it.

They don’t do it immediately, though – at times, I felt the pacing was a little slow but still enjoyable. They wait and watch and see if Tim is really in need and then they offer him the option to join them not just steal him away from his home. It’s told in three parts from Tim’s perspective as he slowly learns about the mystery of the Loch Gotham monster with his camera in hand. Highly recommend!

Not to mention, there was one gala, ONE, where Tim was curious. He wore one of his mother's old gowns, matching heels and all, and mimicked her stride. ( Didn't mimic anything, He naturally had her gait. To be the best you had to model after the best.)

So many people fucking whipped around, pale-faced, wide-eyed, only to see Tim Drake-Wayne. Their fears were not lessened. They Know he learned everything from her. He even uses similar trumps and has a deeper network than his mother ever did. They have no idea how, either.

To. This. Day. The only Galas Jason will attend, are the ones where Tim wears heels with his suit. Just so he can watch the upper class lose their fucking minds with nerves. To watch them scatter like deer on hunting day.

Tim makes it a point to do so at least three times a year. He always sends an emoji of heels to Jason as a warning/invite.

Bruce tried to tell Tim to change the heels once during a gala. The chin-eyebrow raise combos, chin from Janet, eyebrow from Alfred, had Bruce backing down three words in. He has not tried a second time.

Janet Drake I see a lot of oh she was a shitty mom which alright I love some angst.

However, fuck that my personal headcannon is she was maybe absent sometimes but that's it, because she was teaching her kid to destroy businesses to bathe in his enemy's blood.

To walk in and know he is the most dangerous person in the room.

Janet Drake brought Gotham to it's knees she scares Batman.

Sometimes Bruce catches sight of Tim and is transported back in time to the Gala where someone tried to fuck with Tim and watched as Mama Dragon fucking ended their bloodlines.

BAMF Janet Drake who took no shit and raised her kid to do the same. Tim was raised by a girl boss while Jack Drake was the useless man following after his wife.

The sound of her heels still haunts the nightmares of gala attendees.
