“You lying, cheating bastard!” Regulus yells from down the hall.

“What did you do?” Remus asks.

“Probably nothing.” James shrugs as Regulus storms into the kitchen.

“Probably nothing!?” Regulus yells. “Care to explain what this is?” He throws a shirt at James.

“The shirt I wore last night.” James says casually.  

“Right. And why are there lipstick marks and mascara streaks on the collar?” Still yelling as he rips the shirt back out of James’ hands.

James points behind Regulus to a hungover Sirius who’s passed out at the kitchen table with smeared lipstick and mascara on his face.

“Right. That makes sense. Thank you.” He says sternly and stomps back out of the kitchen muttering something about ‘oil based’ and ‘a bitch to clean.’

“What was that?” Remus asks with wide eyes.

“Healthy communication.” James says with another shrug.

“That was healthy?”

“Oh yeah, normally he shuts down, won’t talk to me for days and often locks me out of the bedroom without telling me what’s wrong.” James starts telling him as Regulus walks back into the kitchen looking for something under the sink. “Plus, he knows I’d never actually cheat, probably just needed a bit of reassurance and this way he can ask without feeling too vulnerable.” He finishes as Regulus stands up.

“And you like it when I’m a little mean to you.” He tells James and kisses him on the cheek.

“And that.” James says as Regulus gives Remus a pointed ‘so there’ look and saunters out of the kitchen again.

“God, he’s dramatic.” Remus mumbles.

“Mooooonnnnyyyy!! My head huuuurrrts!!!” Sirius whines from the table and James raises an eyebrow at Remus.  

“What? I didn’t say mine wasn’t dramatic.”

The parallel between these two scenes is heart breaking to me but oh so so loud in their meaning.

In the first one we have Colin fully dressed waiting patiently fuming as Penelope is not dressed yet. She’s vulnerable and he has his shield up. He has the upper hand. He leaves her. She stays behind hurt.

In the second one the roles are reversed. She’s fully dressed, ready for the day. He’s in what looks like his yesterday’s clothes. She is in action while he’s paralysed and not moving. She leaves him this time around.

But really it’s more than that. It’s the fact that by the second scene she is on her way to become her fully actualised self. She’s more self assured, less scared. She is moving ahead, physically and figuratively. He’s still rooted in one place, in his anger, his hurt and his trauma.

These two scenes mirror each other, but they’re also so different in the relationship dynamic. The first one is anger and hurt and Colin sees LW. The second one is a crossroad. Colin either stays rooted in place and looses Pen or he moves and have to come to the acceptance that the person he vowed to destroy is in fact the person he vowed to protect and there is no separation between the two.

Y'all ever get emotional when you think about Eddie having a breakdown and telling Buck he's afraid he'll never feel normal again but he's made so much progress that in season 7 so far we've seen him laughing, cracking jokes, making silly faces, dancing and simply GLOWING with happiness??? Because I do 😭😭😭😭

Bakely’s cheeks puff and her eyes grow big. Her palm closes into a gentle fist, cradling Sun’s message close to her pulse. “So, it was okay?”

Sun makes a show of looking around for anyone overhearing, then leans in close and makes a pinching motion with his thumb and index finger. “A little.”

Instead of focusing on long term goals, try to pay attention to the small steps you can take to improve things a little, to bring you a little closer to where you’d like to be. Turn that big goal that seems unattainable into smaller goals to be achieved until you finally reach that milestone that feels impossible to reach right now because it feels too great to be realistic. That can help take some of the pressure off and allow you to not feel paralyzed in anxiety over how hard it is to achieve things. Baby steps still count as moving forward.

Let’s be delusional for a sec.

When Azula re-enters the temple the first "person" to appear is Ty Lee then they fight blah blah blah... but then the spirit reappears and says, "I’m trying to find out what you want". The next attempt is Ursa telling her she’s proud of her.

What I mean is that the first thing the spirit tries to do to make Azula happy is to bring Ty Lee.
