fall out boy is so fascinating because anyone who doesnt know anything about fall out boy thinks theyre only relevant to millenials who had intense emo phases while anyone who is a huge fall out boy fan is aware of the fact that every single album they release has gotten them a wave of new young fans. and actually thats not even true because every album second album cycle the fans from the one before the last one are like what do you mean you became a fan during the last album cycle i didnt think anyone was still onboarding. and this is going to go on forever until they retire probably.

Eragon and Nasuada are both well loved characters with a lot of good qualities, but they also have some serious flaws and make some grave mistakes. For example, I feel they're objectionable treatment of Murtagh has been discussed relatively often. However, I think they need Way More criticism for how utterly negligent they were in preparing for the confrontation with Galbatorix. Without the outside benefit of genre awareness, it's so egregious how they almost never even try to come up with a plan to kill him. I feel like it springs from inexperience, being overwhelmed, and arrogance, but it's so severe because the ramifications extend to countless lives beyond their own. And no matter the reasons for it, neither of them ever then acknowledge this failing and amend for its consequences, and that is inexcusable. The fact that the first and only plan they ever had to defeat Galbatorix (which immediately fails btw), Eragon came up with hours before the final battle is honestly sickening. Considering their war is justified by a moral basis, the Varden's ethics, specifically in their leaders are all but non-existent.

Why???!!!! It feels like they take no responsibility for their allies! Their concern for them is vague at best and doesn't inform their actions. It's as if they believe that because these people willingly joined their cause knowing they could die, they as leaders are free of blame for anything that happens to them, which is a naive and indulgent misconception. Their decisions still determine those people's fates! And in regards to the eventual fight against Galbatorix, that potential fate they're taking a chance with should they lose is all their allies being slaughtered, down to the very last man. For a start. But Eragon and Nasuada are too young to shoulder that weight as their stations demand and too arrogant to admit their inability, so they just leave it by the wayside.

hazbin hotel is the exact opposite of "bad idea good execution" bc all the pieces are there for something so good but it's made by someone insufferable and she forgot to put the Good in it

Everyone still thinking ths is a "war" of Jews vs. Muslims needs to open up the news and watch how Israeli forces bombed and destroyed a church and a Christian hospital full of Palestinians who ran to those two places hoping for safety and shelter- a lot of whom were Christian and thought they'd be safe in there.

I'm having to apply for jobs for the first time in 5 years and things have changed a bit.

I got invited to a zoom interview.

I really hate the fact that I have to download some 3rd party software to do an interview. Why did we switch to this over in-person or even phone interviews?

I live in a house which 2 other people and our pets. Trying to find a quiet room that has a ~professional~ looking background space is a pain in the neck.

I know I sound like a curmudgeon but I still feel like this is a stupid change

#if it was a corporation where i had to be interviewed by someone in a different city/state #id get it #but its not.#but then again i think multiple rounds of interviewing is stupid in the first place so #¯\_(ツ)_/¯

#man wont let me be happy.#at least. i think he attributes it to the horrors. yeah im pretty sure #BUT ITS NOT.#genuinely all the wounds i have these days are accidental.#sure. im more prone to wounds but thats just because i have a restless and wreckless soul.#and i am admittedly also. not normal about wounds.#but that is LITERALLY not any different than from before the horrors started. so >:P #sillyposting #anyway *twirls hair* lemme talk about my wound >:3 #okay so first one today was while prepping condiments. weve gotta put them in tiny tubs for the guests #and somehow. the pumping hold-onto-thingy. caught the hand-part of the thumb.#which was really annoying bc this was at the START of my shift and bandaids refused to stick (bc high movement)#anyway that one is pretty cool but not. serious.#neither is the next one but =w=b #ANYWAY the next one....#idk i was putting away a glass to be cleaned and. it exploded a little. whoops. no clue how.#but it nagged a part of my finger pretty hard.#so. ofc. blood. whatever. gotta go wash it off!!#i go. wash it off. and then i let the water stream from the same direction i was cut from. and i YELLED.#the water revealed part of the wound that was still concealed from me. namely. the part under the skinflap the glass had created.#so i got direct water into a relatively deep and fresh wound. yayy #we have someone thats in college for like. nursery or summ so she helped me put a bandaid on =w=b how nice.#so!! back to work i go!! absolutely not minding my finger and just going about. but then..... i look down again.#and blood is pearling trough the bandaid. trought the multiple layered bandaid.#back to nurse girl we go. o7 #new bandaid and some gauge this time. ok =w=b #anyway yeah not much else but this is pretty awesome rn if i do say so myslef.#i hope it scars but :/ since its in high movement....#idk #=w=b

just got home from pt and groceries etc and dad is getting extremely aggitated because he thinks he won 1k on a scratch off but ‘isnt sure’ and i read it and it’s not a winner but he’s incapable of listening or assuming i have a single braincell and keeps insisting he’s keeping it
