So at the end of S2E3 when Stede is trying to bring Ed back to life, he's saying "come back to me" and all that stuff. But when he says "I'll never leave you again" and "You're safe" that's clearly in a different voice, right? There's nothing frantic about it, meaning it's a voice over? So it's not something Stede was actually saying to Ed but rather something Ed imagined Stede was saying? I'm not crazy here, right? Have people already talked about this and I just missed all the discourse?

awe jiang cheng laughing fondly when lan xichen says wei wuxian has the same personality as his mother :( for all jiang chengs flaws in how he treats wei wuxian, he does never Once hold his parentage against him even when it would be such an easy evolution from some of the things he blames wei wuxian for, and the environment he grew up in, and when they're teenagers he's always shown to be very sensitive towards any information about wei wuxian's parents/people treating him poorly because of who is parents are. it's just special to me :(

although i want to clarify that i'm not trying to make a case per se or convince anyone. i just like to look at canon and see the character we're working with, explore their themes, their connection to the world, their lore, their relationships, and so on. 🖤

it's not just one singular line imo for gale that i like to point to (though there are some) that indicates he doesn't have an interest in having children, but the larger context of his narrative, the characters around him and the clues we're given throughout the game.
