Summary:

The Dark Side pulls on both of them stronger than ever in the aftermath of their encounter, and the future - and their roles in that future - are more cloudy than ever. Tsunade to Mitsuki: “Have I ever told you about the time I got your parent and Jiraiya so drunk they tried to elope before Jiraiya lost consciousness??? Mitsuki: “yes”  Tsunade: “The time that they tested the effectiveness of a novel poison on themselves without brewing an antidote?? 6 hours of bitching and moaning.“ Mitsuki: “I’m immune to that one.”  Tsunade: “Kid, I have over 50 years of blackmail on your parent. Tsuande to Konohamaru: “You know Konohamaru, you remind me so much of your grandfather.” Konohamaru: “Thank you Tsunade-sama.” Tsunade: “He was shit at keeping my team in line when we were genin.  Never got the hang of it”

Boruto Things We Honestly Deserve #8

More interactions with team 8.  Like those years when team 7 was scattered to the wind team 8 was working together. They were shown to be close.  Why isn’t Boruto always complaining to his mom about his Uncle Shino? Laughing every single time he sees Kiba in that dog food commercial because seriously??? HIs mom’s teammate is such a joke?  Why isn’t Himawari’s best friend some little Inuzuka? Why do we get to see Kakashi but not Kurenai??? Kurenai was so important to Hinata, who had a clan, but didn’t have their approval!  Kurenai was probably the closest thing she had to a mother figure just like Kakashi was like a father figure to Naruto. Why isn’t Boruto being picked on Kurenai’s kid Mirai??? Why isn’t she the annoying babysitter of half of this generation???

Mitsuki and Yamato Interactions. If Yamato has been on Orochimaru babysitting duty for a while now then he has had to of met Mitsuki, meanwhile it looks like Yamato hasn’t interacted too much with Sarada and Boruto. Mitsuki is still a little shaky on the reason Yamato is always around.

Mitsuki: Sarada, Boruto-kun, I’d like to introduce you to one of my parent’s henchmen, Yamato Yamato: I am NOT your parent’s henchman. I do NOT work for them. Mitsuki: Sarada, Boruto, I’d like you to meet my parent’s boyfriend. Yamato: I am NOT their boyfriend. Your parent experimented on me when I was a child! They put me in a tube! Mitsuki: Sarada, Boruto, This is my brother, Yamato. Yamato: WHY would you think that? Mitsuki: I also came out of a test tube

Kakashi helping Sarada develop her Sharingan. 

Like, lets be real, one of the main reasons Kakashi was assigned to teach Sasuke was that he was the only one left in the village that could help him with his sharingan through experience.  And oh look, once again he is the only one there with direct experience developing the Sharingan. 

Sarada and Kakashi bonding! Kakashi is at first like, damn she’s just like her mother, and then he’s like oh shit, she’s just like her father. Then later after a few practices, it finally hits him, she’s just like Itachi.

Does Mitsuki call Tsunade auntie? Did she ever forgive Orochimaru? Does she know he has a son? Does Tsunade sometimes visit the sound base while she wanders around on gambling trips?  Maybe not often, but once or twice a year around Jiraiya’s birthday or the anniversary of his death.

If Sarada was canonly born in one of the Sound bases, does this mean that Orochimaru saw her when she was a newborn? I’m guessing that they had to spend at least a little time there.  Did Orochimaru see her and was he all: “I’m such a proud grandfather.” Sakura: “You’re not related to her. at all.”

DO SARADA AND MITSUKI HAVE BABY  PICTURES TOGETHER SOMEWHERE IN SOUND?  Orochimaru: Karin, get a picture of me holding Sarada while Mitsuki peers over at her. Look, such a proud little uncle!” Sasuke: “Sensei, please give me back my kid” Sakura: “You’re not related to her. at all.” Someone more talented make art

Boruto things that we deserve #4

 a filler arc with a flimsy plot device that flashes team konohamaru back in the past a la the lost tower. But instead of meeting with Minato or Naruto or anyone else they run into Itachi.  

I want to see Konohamaru freaking the fuck out because thats a fucking s class missing nin and yeah he was secretly okay but Itachi was a boogyman of his childhood. 

Meanwhile I want Sarada to be like whats the big fucking deal here? I mean he’s my uncle that dies before he was born but I was told he died a hero??? Honestly when is this family going to tell her the truth about their drama. They truly are the skywalkers of this universe. In the middle of 98% of the drama

Mitsuki is fascinated because his parent let him borrow all his research notes on the Uchiha when he was placed on Sarada’s team so he knows exactly who this guy is and exactly what he is capable but also, he and his parent were partners for a while? What was his parent like back then?

Boruto is all who da fuck is this? Why is Konohamaru-sensei shitting his pants in fear of some teenager? 

Itachi is both in shock cause their is a Uchiha wandering around with a Orochimaru looking fucker and a Uzumaki look-a-like. Cue intense scene where he and Sarada lock eyes and have a genjutsu heart to heart

I don’t know. I would just like Itachi to be able to see that Sasuke ends up with a family. That Sasuke forgave him and told Sarada that he was a hero.

Also Itachi helping them get back in time.

Maybe some of his tears in the rain in the end are also because he knows everything will turn out better than he had ever hoped.

Mitsuki: It works when someone bites your cousin Karin Boruto: There isn’t a Karin Hyuga Mitsuki: No. Karin Uzumaki Boruto: I have a cousin? That worthless father of mine never told me that. Quick Sarada, bite me. Sarada: I’d rather just pass out

No, he had to go.

He looked down at Rey. She was fine, he knew this. And she could handle herself, he also knew. But he didn’t want to abandon her again, not like he’d done before, running away when things got too difficult. Or maybe it was more selfish than that, that he wanted her with him, no matter the circumstance.

He ran a frantic hand through his hair. Either way, the very fact that he was even considering leaving made his heart stutter and his gut twist.

She’d hate him either way.

But he could only see one way where she might forgive him.

He reached for her face, brushing a thumb over her cheek. “I’m sorry,” he whispered, memorizing every detail of her face before leaning over. “Remember. You’re not alone,” he breathed, then pressed his cool lips to the hot skin of her forehead. When he sat back on his heels, the wrinkle in her brow had vanished.
