东京确实太合适 City Walk 了，只是赶上最近要么梅雨、要么过热，所以就有点宅在办公室和家里。周六的时候没有下雨，然后阳光也还算温和，就觉得还是要出门走走。查了惠比寿、中目黑一带的恶书店，打算从那边一直走到学艺大学站，因为后面的 BOOK AND SONS 正好有促销活动。 惠比寿这边其实有东京都写真美术馆的书店，list在我第一位的，快要走到了才想起来是它，我去过，而且不太会买书，就折返了。幸好，折返就回到了“惠比寿南一公园”，发了会儿呆。 POST 书店 惠比寿很舒服，POST 书店大概在这个地方也很合适，毕竟消费力很强也很国际性，应该是不少使馆在这一带，所以一个艺术、建筑和摄影为主题的“洋书”新书店，大概就能够慢慢开下去。内部空间感非常好，是个很赞的书店，挑高不错，基于建筑结构和书柜产生一定的装饰感，然后光纤的设计和灯光的选择配合这个空间，亮度恰好在让人安静但不影响观看的状态。 书价对我来说还是挺高的，因此只能翻看一下，正好也省了消费。有几本书甚为心动，但也不是必须购买。 COWBOOKS 这个基本算是朝圣之旅了。书店主人松浦弥太郎在文化/生活时尚这样的领域算是极为重要的角色，影响力很大，连带着 COWBOOKS 也有非常多的报道，在很多文艺一点的旅行攻略里也会反复提到。整个设计也是有专人，创造了一种“小而美”的典范，作为书店恰到好处——尤其是匹配它的书。 我倒不是认为它在商业上自己能多成立，更多的还是要借助于它的名气吧，加上目黑川这个位置也不错。选书上其实还是有点“高”，很明显在��文化和生活”这个范畴来组织，有自己的趣味，有一些相���更古早一点的书什么的。也就是说对读者其实是有高一点的要求的。 喜欢是喜欢，只是日语距离能真正欣赏它还早着呢。 Dessin BOOKS 这个书店我在 X 上关注很久了，也是年轻的感觉，设计类书籍为主，很努力也很活泼。进去转了一圈，明确就是我喜欢的类型，和其他那些年轻人开设的艺术主题的书店可以拉出一个不错的清单来。 现在发现旧书店还是有个经营实力的问题，Dessin 经营得不错加上也很努力，所以留存在店里的书还不够多和好，大概在“来源”上实在没办法急就章。但或许也是另外一种好处，年轻人的来来往往大概也有一个“价格”问题。 所以想了下还是买了两本书，算是小为支持。 BOOK AND SONS 穿行了很久，走路感觉不错。最后走到BOOK AND SONS这里，是因为它今天开始有一个折扣，由于相信它的书籍质量，就觉得务必要早点来。事实上也很符合预期，有不少写真书，价格合适而且也很好看，尤其是想要帮朋友陆续买“狗”这个主题的书，一下收获不少。一共买了23本画册，嗯，算是很奢侈很奢侈的行为了。 其他 一路都是走，其实也还访问了其他两三家书店，只是不太需要做到列表里整理；然后看了不少花店，也在路边流连了街边的各种植物。话说中目黑社区的植物价格还挺合适，半人高的价格能在1000-2000日元，在日本来说似乎已经很好了。中午在“だし焼肉　はし田”吃了碗面，嗯，一个值得记下来的饭馆，可以再来，野菜天妇罗特别好。

I know the internet is full of hyperbole but I can honestly say that[to me] every Superman production has missed the mark on the Clark/Superman difference until now. I can confidently say that because it’s irked me for years.

This might be the first production to actually really get into the weeds with some simple changes, use lighting, costuming, hair&makeup (peep the contour!)to convey that Clark and Supes look nothing alike. This is so cool to me!!!!! They finally did it.

Shout out to the departments. Shout out to whoever realized they needed way bigger (longer)eyeglass frames with a thick bridge that would alter the appearance of his nose making him unclockable. Whoever you are, I love this work. I love how the base of the cape on the shoulders and the collar work together. It gets the job done but also looks like it was comfortable to wear during hours of shooting. I love that supes has a bit of contouring in the makeup differing from Clark. Shout out to whoever decided to make Clark’s suits oversized and flimsy! It accurately demonstrates Clark’s attempt to look like a little fish in a big pond. He’s not just like that; everything is a choice with him.

Shout out to Peter King and Lindsay McCallister on the hair design/hair story. They did their big one. Clark’s hair is such a big change(so fluffy and undressed!) and accurately shows how someone would manipulate their curly hair to change their appearance. Superman’s hair really works. Honey, that hair is dressed! It is reminiscent enough to please fans but different enough to feel fresh. I like that it’s rounded on top instead of square.

Also I’ve never seen this actor before in my life but he is embodying my man in the trailer so that is also exciting. I don’t even care if the movie is good. I’m a bit over hero movies but I love me some Supes. Everyone seems to really be invested in the visuals of this project. The commitment to color is commendable after years of dark grey low lit mess. Anyway…

I love new faces. I love movies! I love departments! I love unions! I hate David Zaslav!

I just wanted to know about deuce real hair colors, cuz i know he dyed his hair before but i need to know if its was naturally blonde, or naturally dark-blue ??

Because i first thought it was blue but then the dreams thing in deuce part shows him with blonde and. I was like (???? Wasn’t he naturally dark blue??) and just.. my brain stopped braining ( i just don’t understand jps language, and English not my first language too so not all lot of sentences i can understand-)

the blue is his natural color -- he says somewhere earlier in the story that back in his delinquent days, he would bleach his hair blonde (as a reference to the Japanese stereotype of delinquent teens having bleached hair). so him being blonde in the dream is a little visual sign that he's back in that mindset!

I get the confusion though, especially because Dilla has two-tone blonde/blue...I'm still not sure if that's her natural color or if she, like, also dyed her hair for some reason. misplaced solidarity, maybe...?

i feel like we gloss over the first few pages of SoN FAR too much. i mean, take percy’s name out and i would think it’s all about hercules. the book opens by dropping banger after banger regarding percy’s recent escapades, as if this is some epic greek myth.

like how did rick just casually slip in that percy strangled a sea monster with his bare hands (no biggie) and we as the readers were just like “sounds right, anyway—”

ladybug makes the observation at some point that chat noir, at the ripe age of fifteen, acts like such a dad sometimes. like he'll comment about how she should really sit up straight while theyre chilling out after patrol, and he'll start bringing a pair of binoculars so he can birdwatch from their rooftop, and he'll do that thing where after she casually mentions she's been craving strawberies lately he starts bringing industrial amounts of strawberries for her every time they meet. and she just thinks, wow, this boy must come from such a wonderful family for him to be so cute.

so when he quietly admits to her one day that he hasn't hugged his own dad in years, in fact he's not even sure if his own dad really likes him very much, her heart shatters
