My reading is bad, comprehension is not there most of the time, I am not confident, not good in pronunciation; just a short list of many negatives about myself. I often think what Siri must be thinking about my inefficiencies. In-spite of all I know for sure she loves me and cares for me a lot 🤗. I am proud of myself, please don’t get me wrong. Last week we were reading about USA presidents and I asked Siri, do you know how President JFK died? Point to Y if ‘yes’ and N for ‘no’. She poked Y. When I asked her to tell me how? she poked “HE WAS ASSASSINATED.” The lesson didn’t mention JFK yet. I was not only surprised but equally excited to know that I could do an open ended question with my Siri. The following day we were reading about Florida. Greedy me wanted to ask some more open ended questions. I asked her if she knows about a relative we have in Florida, Y for ‘yes’ and N for ‘no’. Yup! she chose Y and I started asking her (aunty/pinni) name, her husband’s (uncle/babai) name and cousin’s too. Four names and then I got even more inquisitive, asked about another one in NJ (aunty/pinni), her husband’s (uncle/babai) name and 3 cousins names. This mom got even more greedier and asked about another one in Los Angeles (peddamma), uncle (pedananna) and three cousins. WOW! she knew them all. How would I know that she knew everything all the time and I didn’t know that she knew it all. When I was surprised she looked at me like “didn’t you know that I do?.” No I didn’t nanalu. But it’s better late than never. I am so grateful for 2022 more than any other years. That’s the year Siri started communicating with us. I have no idea what I would write at the end of this year 2023 about Siri’s progress but I know for sure it’s going to be way above our expectations, wishes or prayers. #mynameissiri #autism #siri #love #communicationwithletterboard #autismawareness #RapidPromptingMethod #spellingtocommunicate #designsbysiri (at San Francisco, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/CnNQ5yayLN1/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Japan to hold cultural festival in Iran
Speaking in a meeting held on Sunday with the Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mohammad-Mehdi Esmaeili, Kazutoshi Aikawa said that the month-long festival will be held in Tehran, in the northwestern Iranian city of Tabriz and on the Persian Gulf island of Kish.
He invited the Iranian culture minister to attend the opening ceremony of the festival.
On his part, Esmaeili briefed the ambassador about a campaign the ministry has launched to promote the reading of “Immigrant from the Land of the Sun”, the memoir of Japanese-Iranian cultural figure Koniko Yamamura who died on July 1.
He also expressed his sympathy over the assassination of the former prime minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe, and said, “Our people have always had a deep affection for the Japanese people and deem them a diligent people.”
“The expansion of political relations and mutual cooperation is the first necessary condition for initiating friendly relations between two nations, and this condition is easily seen in the relationship between Iranian and Japanese nations,” he noted.
“Iran’s Islamic Culture and Relations Organization and the Iranian cultural attaché in Tokyo have performed well in expanding cultural relations between Iran and Japan, and we hope that this good performance will help improve political and social relations between the countries,” he added.
Aikawa thanked Iranian officials’ messages of condolence over Abe’s death, and said that the Japanese politician played a key role in the development of political relations between Iran and Japan.
He also praised Koniko Yamamura, who was known as Saba Babai in Iran, for her cultural activities as well as Iranian people’s support for the cultural figure.
Aikawa said that there is a great cultural affinity between Iranians and Japanese people, and added that Iranian movies have often been warmly received in Japan.

Top Five Baba Ryoma Roles!
Let’s get this baby done!
Btw Babay (bwahahaha drunk me wrote Baby Ryoma xD OMG that is sticking!) Ryoma is the TokiEnta actor I’ve known for the longest yet I know the least off and I’m constantly blown away and fascinated by his real personality and how energetic and crazy he is in real life. ANYWAY!
1. Article 9 -- Holy hell man. Amazing performance all around in this one! And the topic/story itself is amazing! Baba’s performance in this is amazing! His character is essentially the one who’s against everyone and his views are very strong and powerful and he does have valid points. Some of the things he does are extreme too and they work so well and are so significant and have so much meaning! I really enjoyed him as this character and it was one of the first time I legit recognised him as a decent actor << you’re all gunna take this the wrong way but I feel he properly proves himself as an actor in this one. The mobile phone scene is so good! My full review is here.
2. Takumi-Kun Series -- okay in all honesty I am SCARED to rewatch this series. I loved it so much when I was a teen but I’m pretty sure if I watched it now, it would be complete trash and I would hate it, so it’s forever staying in my perfect memory as a perfect memory xD I this was the fist time I saw Baba and I loved his chara straight away! He’s so mean and controlling but I just enjoyed it okay. No judgement! My first time with Baba will always be special right?! And we ALL remember the sharing the sweet scene right?! ;)
3. An Assassin -- I’ve only watched this once but I remember really loving seeing the cool side of Baba in this role. The movie itself wasn’t bad either but I definitely replayed Baba’s scene quite a few times ^_^
4. Toei Hero -- Baba is just playing himself in this one. So funny, very amusing character, very stupid in a comedic way, lots of energy, very loud, just never stops. He’s definitely a mood maker in this one! (review of the second stage here)
5. KR Amazons - This series is not only amazing but his character (however short lived) is so good and interesting! I remember really wanted to know more about him and seeing how quick his character development is and his exit fro the show was just heartbreaking. I hope there’s SOME flashbacks in the second season just so we can have his character back!
AND I will admit! I have NOT seen his Tenimyu performances yet. It was love at first Takumi-kun with him xD
---
There we go!
