Hello! I'm casting for a unique audio fiction related project. It should not be a huge time commitment, or (unfortunately) a lot of money. But hopefully it'll be fun, and all parts will be compensated.
This quite possibly will be weirder than Greater Boston, but have a similar heart.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me here or at the GB account. Thanks!
@camlannpod by Ella Watts and @tincanaudio has been one of the most exciting shows to premiere in 2024, and I certainly hope we'll be getting more. It's a beautiful story with stellar acting and distinctive sound design and music that has made me weep and shout several times over.
Here's the description:
One day, every apocalypse happened at once.
Follow three survivors and their dog as they try to understand what happened to the world, and build a home from the ashes.
Camlann is a post-apocalyptic fantasy series about the necessity of hope for survival.
Dai, Morgan, Perry and their noble wolfhound Gelert venture out into the Welsh countryside to escape the devastation that hordes of folkloric monsters have wrought among the cities.
Not to mention the "Knights of the Round Table", a former university rugby team turned maniacal feudal lordship on the hunt for their Sir Peredur, and the witch Morgan Le Fay.
Read about it here.

the thing about trying to recommend fiction podcasts to someone who isn't familiar with them is that not only are so so many genres represented but also the level of production can fall anywhere from "basically an audiobook" to "major motion picture minus the pictures"
This Pride Month, the queer community has been dealing with attack after attack. Especially queer youth are vulnerable to this.
@keepitsteadypod and the other stories discussed in this article are about the empowerment of queer joy in Young Adult fiction.
For those of you unfamiliar with this show, here's the description:
Seventeen-year-old Zach is not a moral crusader. He's a snarky, well-liked stoner who attends detention about as often as Algebra. Unfortunately, he's also a closeted bisexual in 2005, in a town where even the potheads are conservatives. When school firebrand Gabe suggests they pretend to date in order to take the heat off two female students who are actually in love, Zach knows it's the worst idea he's ever heard. Then he does it anyway.

Tensions are mounting between Alfie and Neige as they struggle to resolve their different views of what to do with Casper. It's clear that Neige is holding things back, and though Alfie is pushing for more, Neige always seems to find a way to change the subject...
If you like gay vampires, gory romance with tragic and complicated undertones, and vampire stories which think about the existential problem of potentially living for ever, you're in luck! Not Quite Dead is the show for you. The 31st episode just went live; there's now almost thirteen full hours of vampire content to sink your teeth into.
