I AM ADDING THREE RESOURCES (THAT I CAN PERSONALLY VOUCH FOR) ONTO THIS!!!!!! Pixabay: Yet another royalty-free image hosting website (very much like Pexels). BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE! They also have videos, sound effects, music, vectors & so on. As with most sites, it's getting a bit clogged with AI bullshit -- but if ur able to sift thru that, it's a fantastic resource I've been using for years (within digital collage, website assets & more). Most AI crap is tagged as 'AI' anyways (if you have trouble differentiating from what's real & what's fake). PixelSquid: THE END-ALL-BE-ALL FOR COMPLEX OBJECT REFERENCES. It's a 3D-model website that offers a subscription service (in order to download its files), but you DO NOT need to pay to use it -- I certainly don't. Need to draw a staircase from a weird angle? Type 'staircase' into the search bar and you will get FIFTEEN BILLION STAIRCASES. Ok I'm being a bit hyperbolic, but it definitely feels that way (it's awesome). In the web browser alone, u can rotate the models in (almost) 360 degrees, so it's great for foreshortened illustrations/experimentation. ALSO, if ur like me & are constantly taking pose/reference photos of yourself (for character illustration), instead of setting up your camera timer and rushing into position -- often times not getting the results you want -- just turn on the video option and film yourself instead. It's a lot easier to scrub through individual video frames than attempting to speedrun a photoburst. :^D THE THIRD RESOURCE (which may come obvious to a lot of people): The Internet Archive is AWESOME if ur into traditional, B&W, vintage & antique illustration (and just public domain works, audio & the like, in general). The original Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, Pinocchio & Raggedy Ann books are on there (ROYALTY FREE & DIGITALLY SCANNED), and so are tons & tons of antique newspapers, magazines and more (if you're into digital collage/vintage reference). Just make sure to check the date & confirm they've entered the public domain & be aware of existing character trademarks. Also (and I know this will come as common knowledge to most of u, but for younger folks), pls take caution with skimming thru older books & comics (as they often have racist/insensitive depictions sprinkled in there) -- a 'fork found in kitchen' situation for 1800s (and earlier) media, I know, but it can be alarming/painful if ur not prepared for it. ANYWAYS, 'TIS ALL! :^) Hope this can be of help to some of u, it has certainly helped me tons! :^D

I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.
