Ig people are allowed to think that the men's final was boring bc Jannik completely outplayed the abuser: it was, in fact, not that exciting to someone whose favorite player is not Jannik, probably (even if I am personally very glad he humiliated Zv*rev, idk why someone would want anything different for #him), but the point kind of weakens when they bring up the "big 4 era" and start to say things like "There was so much more competition back then!"

Guys. Rafael Nadal won the French Open fourteen times. In half of those finals, he won in straight sets (in those straight sets wins, his 6-1, 6-3, 6-0 win against Roger and his 6-0, 6-2, 7-5 win against Novak are worth highlighting imo). At one point, he held a streak of 81 consecutive wins on clay. He has more titles on clay than losses on the surface. Djokovic won the Australian Open ten times, and again, half of those wins came in straight sets. In 2011 he held a 41 win streak (all time record!). In the early 2000s Roger Federer was absolutely dominant. He won his first 7 grand slam finals.

I'm just saying that dominant players (on a surface or in general) have always existed🤷‍♀️ but in the last twenty years especially so. And I guess it's kind of weird to me when people pull out the "Oh, it was so much better and competitive back then!" card, because no, sometimes it wasn't😭⁉️ Tennis boomers are kind of disconnected from reality

Vulcan Fashion Pinterest Board

I got sick of not being able to find a good inspiration board for vulcan clothing so I made my own.

I pinned every existing fashion reference I could find from the movies/tv shows.

I also included an Inspiration section with human clothing I felt had vulcan design elements. Not all of the clothes in there I think vulcans would actually wear, its just meant to be a starting point.

The board is technically "complete" but I still plan to add things as I come across more pins.

the thing about me is that i just can't blindly defend disingenuous writing no matter if i like the writer or not especially when it's catered to loud twitter users !! this is why one of the few criticisms i have about the borgias is how desperately neil jordan needed the audience to root for cesare even at the expense of other characters, considering that cesare is already a compelling character and the writing could've hyped him without diminishing others in comparison. juan stole the spotlight and received rave reviews after the paolo incident by showcasing the nuance of his character. but he was then written off for 3 episodes to make everyone forget about him despite having made a positive impression in media outlets and david's acting being recognized (he was being called the second-best actor on the show after jeremy irons mind you...) this clearly shows how insecure the writer was about cesare and felt the need to hide juan to make cesare shine. after juan returned from spain shaped up into a better person he was then nerfed again for the very same reason that even the actor had to challenge neil for dehumanizing him in a grotesque way without proper buildup solely to elevate cesare despite his motivation being purely selfish.

For a source material that speaks most largely on exploring strange NEW worlds, to SEEK out NEW life and NEW civilisations, to boldly go where no one has gone before... (though nothing is really new...) ... yall are just so nuzzled up and comfy over here in this hive echo-chamber you call a "fandom" because you can so easily and comfortably pervert the principle of differences and diversities in Star Trek so that you can surf the dunes of your own politicised, discriminatory, prejudiced, distorted delusional sandbox of what "freedom of speech" and "freedom of identity" and "liberty itself" (whatever tf THAT means lol) and what fake twitter/tumblr-sjw and chronically online "woke culture" look, sound, and feel like, gone most greatly uncontested because as soon as one person says or people say something, then they risk outting themselves for the same sh1t they pull in this "community", which would ultimately lead them to lose this sickening "freedom" that they cultivated for decades to say and be the sh1ttiest in a homogenised sh1tty social environment where they won't ever be conspicuous or scorned; to blend right in (worsening over time).
