The term you want to keep an eye out for is "paradoxical reaction" aka "for some people this does the opposite of usual". Not all people with ADHD have this reaction to caffeine, but it sure suggests that your body isn't processing stimulants in the standard way.

Neither THC nor anesthetics are stimulants, though, so you may also just need a higher dose of things for them to be effective for whatever reason.

The secret is that no one knows how dosage works or why people respond to some substances well and others poorly. It's all wildly idiosyncratic and they cannot predict it. For me, Adderall does nothing. It doesn't give me the focus I'm looking for, but it also doesn't give me the stimulant effect that neurotypical people get! (Ritalin does work as intended, thank fuck)

Hey, I read in a post where you were arguing with some jackass that ADHD can make you immune to stimulants... is that really a thing? Because I've never been diagnosed, but I also can't get high, have never noticed even the slightest effect from caffeine, and local anesthetics *always* seem to take much longer to kick in for me than the dentist expects, sometimes they have to give me a second shot of novocaine because I still have sensation when they start working.

I've searched for shit like "caffeine immunity" before and found *nothing* so if you know some place I can read about this, or you have more info yourself I'd love to know.

(Also, my boyfriend *has* been diagnosed with ADHD but he *can* get high, he uses THC to temper his anxiety. So does it vary by person?)

It does vary by person, but yeah a major aspect of ADHD is that stimulants don't all work like they're supposed to. For some people there's even the opposite effect, with caffeine making them immediately more tired. I'm having a hard time finding scientific studies on this anymore with the decay of search engines, but the following are all different threads on r/ADHD with a ton of discussion: "Caffeine does nothing"

My take is that whenever Foxes play Marry, Kill, fuck they always chose to kill Kevin. Not because it's what they want, no no because it's the funniest option for three simple reasons.

A) Kevin believes every game can be lose or won, Marry Kill Fuck included.

B) And of course Marry is the winning option, Kill the losing one, while fuck is just lukewarm second place, in his world.

C) And the most important thing - Kevin absolutely hates losing.

That being said, anytime some Fox chose to kill him he rages and argues and in so many details its almost a presentation, explains how he would be a great husband! He would! Fuck you!

Foxes love it. Watching Kevin rage quit in marry kill fuck game is absolutely a highlight of the day.

It’s so funny how the Uchihas and the Hyuga clan have like no canon relationship with each other. Like the only two dojutsu clans in Konoha and they just don’t give a fuck about each other.

Like Hyuga heir gets kidnapped for her dojutsu by ninjas from another village and a branch Hyuga dies over it. The Uchiha don’t care.

A whole clan who possess a dojutsu gets wiped out by one of their own. The Hyuga don’t give a fuck.

Sasuke and Neji meet during the chunnin exams and they know nothing about each other. They also never interact again. And Hinata and Sasuke doesn’t even acknowledge each other.
