This is a wip for now, but I’m pretty happy about what I have produced in the time I did. The quality of my pictures are kinda garbage but I can’t figure out why. I have been on a fallout kick recently and wanted to draw Nick Valentine, one of my favorites and someone who despite his brain coming from a cop has a decent character build. Which obviously all cops are bastards, even the original Nick Valentine. They uphold the interests of the capital owners with violence against the workers and lower class. And we are starting to see the late stages of it already with cop cities being built so they can better use war tactics on citizens. This is what late stage capitalism has wet dreams about. I don’t know what options we have left some days and the further things progress the more worried I get.

really sick and tired of people saying “how can this be happening in our time??” “imagine screaming for help and no one listens” “why is no one doing anything??” “how could I be witnessing a genocide in 2024?” Black people are still going through ethnic cleansing today from colonialism of Africa to the trans atlantic slave trade to chattel slavery to Jim Crow to mass incarceration to BLM to Cop City. If you are saying Free Palestine but you dgaf about BLM, you’re not speaking up about Cop Cities or you’re not educating yourself on DRC, Sudan, Haiti, Ethiopia, etc., you are and always have been apart of the problem. You have blatantly ignored Black bodies being murdered mercilessly in the streets, being robbed of clean water at Flint and Atlanta, our Black towns being bombed, gentrification of Black neighborhoods, our lack of reparations and so much more. I don’t want to hear anymore “how could they do this?? why does no one care??” because you guys didn’t care when it began, when it happened and as it’s happening right in front of you!! Where do you think Israel and most Western countries get their inspiration for colonialism and ethnic cleansing from?? Black people across the globe are still going through ethnic cleansing TODAY and have been since white colonialism touched Africa!! We have been on the front lines of most movements and you guys ignored us, called us violent, called us angry, called us ignorant. We’ve been saying we are not free until we are all free and everyone moved on with their lives and said “well this doesn’t affect me.” If you’re not going to check your anti-blackness at the door, be prepared for a failed revolution.

Sometimes I feel like maybe I’m being too hard on Bruce because he’s a grieving father and you don’t judge people for how they get by when the dead usually stay dead, but then I remember that the Waynes are the closest thing Gotham (maybe even the whole of America in the DC universe) has to royalty and Batman claimed the city for himself, so when Bruce turns abandons the responsibility he himself took on for getting Jason justice, it’s not a just a dead body he turns his back on, he’s betraying a member of the people he claimed. A citizen he was supposed to serve.

I don’t currently watch metalocalypse nor do I ship these characters, but I wanted to create a silly shit post based on a reel I saw yesterday. Plus who doesn’t wanna babygirlify all men? I certainly do. Is the background once again just blurred photos? Yes, I’m lazy and not drawing a background for a shitpost. Plus the pose was trending or whatever so why not.

Anyways back on my crazy captioning because I will NOT stop yapping about rights and how much I hate capitalism and it’s many facets. I hope I’m not the only young person out here who feels so strongly about justice and yet feels like lost in it all? I am currently trying to not ruin all of the relationships I have built up because when my sense of justice is too strong I take everything way too seriously and end up being a dick. It’s hard because on one hand everything is crumbling around me because this country fucking sucks right now and I don’t fit into all the groups of rich, cis, straight, white, able bodied man; which means if things keep in this direction then I’m not on the list of people to not be pummeled to death. I just wanted to live and be able to build a productive life, but if we’re being real I’ve always had this cynicism towards the idea of the US being good as it’s never been good to me or anyone I know really. When living and not being a baby making machine with no rights is a luxury we are in sucky times headed for worst. I’m glad I could have the nuance to see that even the “good politicians” are just protecting the capital interests of the 1%, they set out the unjust law for the police to carry out, in which makes the police all bastards for knowingly and continuously carrying out law that is strictly for the benefit of the capital owner. The workers can’t even get their basic necessities, people have to choose between eating, shelter, and paying what they have to. Let alone the fact that my generation will not physically be able to pay rent let alone a mortgage or buy a house. There’s nowhere to go, I’m in insurmountable debt that I can’t pay for because some jackasses told me college was a good idea and I couldn’t even afford one fucking semester. Late stage capitalism can go fuck off because what does anyone expect me or anyone else to do? No one wants to hire people and the ones that do pay bare minimum wages. I just feel helpless in this hellscape our government has facilitated in growing. The two biggest candidates fucking suck, my vote feels pointless and useless, I don’t wanna choose between two fascists of different flavors. Anyways yapping over for now

How did You find the place in the wiki to plan for the TLC? The bit of the guide about it is a bit vague beyond mechanics

That's because the wiki guide is about the TLC after it's been built! If you want to plan for it, you're gonna need to consult the masterlist of variant text for every possible founding body/site/style/ideology/leader, and decide accordingly from there. If a specific combination stands out to you, don't be afraid to dig around in wiki storylets and sources in order to find what you need for it. Some styles are only possible with certain founding bodies- and unlike most things about the TLC this cannot be changed later without spending fate- so if you're the type to plan ahead, make sure to pick wisely!

At the end of the day it all comes down to a lot of scavenging and handpicking. The TLC is an extremely variable location with hundreds of potential outcomes and effects, so on some level I get why the wiki doesn't maintain a dedicated guide for building and organizing it. Still, if you want a hard and fast list of every possible QLD, you can find it in the TLC Foundations entry here. It's not much, but it helps!
