✩How to shift via lucid dream.✩
I am sharing my personal research and experience on achieving lucidity and shifting.
Lucid dreaming is an easy and fun way to experience things under your control. While shifting is not something you can control once you've done it. you can script and specify what reality you go to, but your actions have true consequences. Whereas when you lucid dream, your actions do not have consequences.
Approach lucid dreaming as something fun and enjoyable. if you find it stressful, it will impede your journey or prevent it entirely. Not to say you can only do these things with no doubts.
(what do i do personally as someone who regularly lucid dreams on the daily basis?)
Reality checks are your best friend! i personally prefer to count my fingers because, in my dreams, i have more than five fingers. So when i reality-check throughout the day and see that i have five fingers, i know i am not dreaming. when i go to look down at my hands in my dreams, lucidity will be triggered. there are many ways to reality check and you don't have to follow exactly what i do. everyone's journey is different.

simply looking around and observing your surroundings is a good way to begin lucidity. Something you might notice in your dreams is that your surroundings are out of place and wonky. Whereas when you're awake, you can tell things are as they should be. if you take time out of your day to stop and look around, making sure everything is in place, these actions will eventually subconsciously carry onto your dream world, enhancing the possibility to induce a lucid state.
(consistency)
consistency is key. despite it being a drag, it will go well for you in the long run. your subconsciousness doesnt have eyes, you have to train it.
(what do i do when lucid?)
I become aware of my surroundings. in other words, i am lucid. i go through my usual routine of checking my reality and fingers to remember my goals. I then proceed to increase my lucidity. how? By solving complex problems to ensure i am using good l am using good logic and that i am thinking clearly. i sit down and attempt to breathe in, no longer attempting to create a portal or go through a door as there is likely to be inconsistencies with that method. Don't try to create the world. Rather just go to it. feel your desired reality surroundings. How does it smell? what room are you in? what emotions are you feelings? just focus on the world that already exists.

Dominant thoughts and the avoidance of self.
3D = external world, the physical world. Often called the "mirror" because it adapts to reflect the 4D.
4D = internal world, the reality which we manifest from.
This is something I have been thinking about and researching for the past couple of days.
Many people would do anything to avoid sitting with their own thoughts, can't even take a shit alone , but when our thoughts create our reality where does that leave us?
When was the last time you sat with your thoughts for an extended period? Do you only sit and think about your life when you're spiraling and upset?
A common suggestion for people on their journey is to "go within". Surprisingly, many people genuinely respond that they don't know how.
In a world where we no longer have to engage with ourselves or our thoughts because of a constant stream of collective consciousness, it is no longer a necessary part of life to indulge in your own thoughts. For the first time, your mind and your internal world are an optional part of your life.
What was once inescapable has now become something that you can numb and silence with an endless stream of Subway Surfers and Family Guy clips.
People have become so disconnected with self and their own internal world that even being told to enter it is confusing and upsetting.
You have entered a state in which you do not think you only consume you have transformed yourself from creator to spectator. The voices of others flood your mind because you no longer listen to yourself.
Our own thoughts have been drowned out by the thoughts of others in a deafening wave of voices. When we sit and we do nothing but numb ourselves the only thoughts that will pierce through are the thoughts that force themselves to the front of our brain, painful and anxiety inducing thoughts.
Our dominant thoughts are what manifest and we no longer think except to spiral.
The 4D, what you have most likely heard about over and over from manifestation bloggers, is JUST your internal world.
You have all but abandoned your internal world. If you cannot even experience yourself and your own thoughts why are you surprised that you are RELIANT on external validation and the external world.
Why can't you ignore the 3D? Because you exclusively experience it.
Your internal world isn't manifesting because you refuse to experience yourself internally.

I would love to talk about the many many other contributing factors but you don't have the attention span and I don't have the time.
Such as:
I think our brains are so flooded with dopamine and near constant information that your subconscious has trouble imprinting our desires because our affirmations are literally competing with an addictive substance, brainrot induced dopamine.
You accept the thoughts of others like it's nothing
Reduced decision making and impulse control
Inability to filter information
Brainrot kills self concept
The more dopamine your brain receives the more it needs to elicit the same reward response in the brain. Problem is, we have constant inescapable streams of dopamine at our finger tips.

Regression comes in many different forms, for many different reasons, including anxiety for some. As a CG, it is important to be able to help your regressors during this time, SO, here are some tips on how to help a little with Social Anxiety
⁺  ◍   .   ⁺  ☆  ⁺   .   ◍  ⁺
⧼ 1 ⧽ Make sure to plan ahead!
Letting your regressor know where you’re going, what day, and what time can give them enough time to mentally get ready for the day. Some littles need more time and some less so make sure to discuss it with them!
⧼ 2 ⧽ Remove them from the stimulant!
Sometimes, taking a break from big social locations can help your regressor calm down quickly and assess their needs before moving forward. Safe spaces for this can include a family bathroom (ones that are one room only) a far off booth in a food court, sometimes even in small corridors, hallways, and even outside
⧼ 3 ⧽ Learn grounding techniques!
Going out can be stressful and can cause big emotions like anxiety or panic at stacks. Learn east/simple grounding techniques like the countdown method, blowing bubbles, or even non-harmful stimming !
⧼ 4 ⧽ Show them affection!
This may vary per regressor, but actively reminding them that they’re loved, holding/squeezing their hand, giving them frequent hugs or praise can help a regressor remember that they can get though this scary time ! DO NOT RE-WRITE OR POST AS OWN
⧼ 5 ⧽ Comfort items!
Having a regression bag is incredibly helpful to give your little a way to carry comfort items [check this post for bag ideas]. If they’re not big on affection during times of high stress, offer a comfort item (like a paci or toy) or even offering a short distraction like snacks might be helpful !
⧼ 6 ⧽ Communicate!
Sometimes a “Don’t worry” or a “You’re okay” isn’t enough to sooth an anxious little. Instead, acknowledge and validate their feelings and offer ways to help! Try out phrases such as “I know you’re feeling [blank] but I’m not gonna let anything happen to you” or “I can tell you’re getting [blank emotion/feeling], would you like to try this?[this being anything you believe can help your regressor]” !
⧼ 7 ⧽ Avoidance!
Whist taking a break from an extreme stressor is good, always remember to premise going back into the space with kind words and affirmations! Avoiding triggers/stressors reinforces that the issue is something to fear, and not to conquer. It is not always possible or even healthy to avoid triggers 24/7
⧼ 8 ⧽ Notes!
Everyone is different in how they show stress and what their needs will be, make sure to communicate with your young one to find solutions that will help them and recognize when they might become anxious in a space. This won’t always be easy, but it is necessary Always use kind words with your regressor. Your patience will always be appreciated by your little especially when they know their thoughts are getting the best of them.

i will never be convinced on rhysand the better high lord when tamlin opened his court to refugees during amarantha's reign, began celebrating festivities that didn't belong to spring just so they'd feel at home, played for them too with his silly fiddle omg, refused to send his people beyond the wall until he was desperate, felt them die because their bond as subject and high lord was just too great (sarah's words not mine), even buried a lesser fae in his court after he was brutalized by amarantha, dug the ground with his haaaands, said lesser fae wasn't even his subject but he offered him peace and company during his death anyway. then there's mister change takes time over here, has his people living in harsh conditions in camps, under a mountain where they cannot leave because they're more weapons than people. so if you were born anywhere in his court that's not velaris sucks to suck i guess.
don't even get me started on his family being in charge while he was gone for 50 yrs because their circus troupe didn't do squat either. cassian is a privileged boy who has lost all emotional connection to his own people. idk what azriel does besides do a job he doesn't even want to do and mope around i guess. morrigan hates her people, morrigan 'i'm the exception, everybody evil except for me and i will make no effort to change anything bc im too pretty for that'. amren. amren wtf even is she doing in the night court. not even from the lands and she's already named second in command, that's all i have to know about the high lord. what is she commanding? *in damian's voice* she doesn't even go here!!!
tamlin did more for spring and people from other courts in those fifty years than the ic will ever consider doing for the night court. morrigan couldn't lift a pinkie, if you mention doing anything for hewn city she'd start whining throwing up waa waa waa, grown ass woman. cassian kisses the dirt rhysand steps on, if he says bark he out here 🐕. amren is just there for shits and giggles. azriel.
so if anyone sat on their asses it's rhysand and his ragtag group of powerful people who don't do shit with it. illyrians still suffer in the camps, hewn city still trapped in a mountain where abuse is the norm. and they aaaalll stiiill haaaate youuur aaaasss 💥💥💥💥💥

why are people still calling wilbur’s abuse towards shelby “allegations”? he admitted to it, it’s not allegations it’s the truth, using that kind of vocabulary will only hurt shelby as a victim, making people believe that the entire situation is based on some sort of “allegation” rather than the reality of it, which is a victim coming out with her story and her abuser admitting to it without an apology

Honestly my second favourite theory about buck's spiraling in 8x06 is that Tommy admits he initially tried to date Eddie, and Buck kind of spirals over being second choice, and he ends up at Dispatch and tells Maddie something along the lines of 'and I get it, I know Eddie's great' blah blah blah and maybe Maddie draws attention to that line somewhat and we see the moment it clicks in Buck's head. And of course, Eddie's allegedly straight and cue the pining. To me it would be really neat and potentially full of parallels to 7x04&5, the beginning of the relationship, where Eddie already was little miss haunting the narrative. It just makes sense in my head for buck and tommy to end because of eddie, when they got together because of him, too.
My favourite theory of course, is that Tommy is Abby's ex Tommy.
