I actually managed a semi decent outfit out of stuff I allready had for my leftover bits Cat doll. Finding out that I even allready had shoes was a big suprise!

Now the only question is whether or not to give the face a bit of a repaint/personalization...

Today's faceup is on a Pipos R.PI Charlotte in grey akin, along with a manicure and tail blush. She was a fun commission to work on, as I've always wanted to work on a Pipos doll!

I have a before and after of her, the previous faceup was done by the owner, but they wanted a more experienced hand for her fresh faceup. I was happy to oblige!

Here are some wip photos of a very special - and very expensive - doll I was waiting for a long time! Seth by Story of Seventh Day.

He is over 3kg in weight, was tricky to add the head, but I adore him. He is just my type of doll. Also I have seen like two blank owner photos of this doll so we won't see him often.

at long last, my dollzone taru head is here! she was supposed to come with obi, but I guess dz forgot. in any case, she's a LOT bigger than I thought she'd be. she's originally meant for 1/4 scale, but I got the extra headback to convert her to 1/3, and I'm glad I did. look at her compared to obi, they're basically the same size.

My doll family has a new member!!! Meet Cecilia, she is a McLaren sculpt from Nymphetamine Customs. I won her at BJDcon and I am so over the moon!

She is a little daunting as I have never done a faceup from scratch before but I am really looking forward to painting her! I haven't started yet as I have just got my boyfriend into the hobby to and we agreed to paint our dolls together. (His first was a Fatemoons Willow boy for those who want to know!)

I also love how I had to stand her up so she could be in those pictures ;_;

Also yes, the dress is really big because it is for a standard 1/6 and she is slightly smaller...pretend you don't see the floating straps! I had nothing else to put her in

Bottom row is a Dream Valley Coco fullset. Bought through BJDivas. She appears to be in perfect condition from what i can tell. I haven't touched her much since purchase. Will come with CoA as long as i can find it 😅 asking $120 + shipping from USA

I got to work on another Dream Valley Olivia bunny version, but in white skin this time. The client wanted her to be super pink, so I happily complied. She’s also super sparkly from shimmer, but my camera doesn’t pick it up.

Ok, I realized that I absolutely need a doll of a certain anthro cat named Mordecai Heller (from Lackadaisy, a webcomic/animated short). However, the anthro cat photo thread on DoA is full of broken images and old sculpts that are impossible to find anymore. Does anyone have sculpt recommendations that are more accessible, or know of a more recent or even just comprehensive list of cat anthros? I know pip0s pang might work for a chibi version but I really want a tall elegant doll in 1/3 or 1/4 scale. I'd likely be dyeing, so hybrids are not a problem. Please, I love this character and need to bring him home.

Hol-y SHIT. I know I just asked about anthro cat dolls but I should have Googled "anthro cat bjd" *before* making a post because pip0s raven is near PERFECT. Shame he's probably impossible to get now. I'll keep an eye out but if anyone still has anthro cat sculpt recommendations I'd still be happy to see them! I suppose I can use Raven as a reference for what I'm looking for if I can't find that particular sculpt. But DAMN, that is a good looking sculpt and near exactly what I was looking for. And I said no more new dolls...

somehow here before my rabbits is my DZ Deer-2 head! he’s less tan than I was expecting, but I realize I want him actually brown anyway, so it’s fine. I included a couple of pics of the back/inside of his head, for anyone curious. his antlers are also removable.

no idea what body I want for this guy, I just knew I needed to grab him in case they never released him again.
