Danny is Wonderbat's kid
So! Danny has known that he was adopted since he could remember. His parents never hid that fact, and always told him the story of how they found him abandoned in the Woods as a baby.
He was always somewhat curious about who his real parents were, but he never really put much stock into that little curiosity. After all, Jack and Maddie were his Parents, and nothing would ever change that.
Until one day when he is Training with Pandora and she notices that he resembles somebody she knows very closely. As in, he looks almost exactly like her if she was born as a male.
So, unbeknownst to Danny, she contacts Clockwork and asks him to confirm. He confirms this, and offhandedly mentions thay Danny has never met his mother and is curious about her.
A little while later, she is having Tea with her niece Diana and just as she is about to leave back to the Afterlife, she off-handedly mentions, "Also you should come around to visit one of these days, Ancients know your Son would love to meet you!".
And Diana has a Heart Attack. Because she did have a Son, with Bruce, but he was stolen away when he was born and she didn't know if he had survived or not.
Before she can ask Pandora to elaborate, she leaves. And now Diana has to wrap her head around the fact that her very much dead aunt has actually met her Missing Son.
So she thinks Danny is Dead. She thinks that he was killed after being kidnapped as a baby and that he found his way to his Great Aunt in thr Afterlife.
And now she has to tell Bruce

Dick: wait- does this mean that the og JL is just one big family at this point?
Bruce: ... what?
Dick: I mean- I married Wally, who's now leaglly Barry's and Hal's, which makes them your in-law. Jason married Roy, which makes Oliver your in-law, and the rest of you are dating a Super, I feel like that does make the JL a family business

Hal Jordan finding out about Nightwing: YOU. You have a *kid*?
Batman: well... Technically he's my oldest and age of majority... But he's still my kid.
Hal Jordan: OLDEST? YOU HAVE MORE? 2? 3?
Batman visibly annoyed:... 6... Legally.
Hal Jordan: I'm going home. This has single handedly killed my willpower for a week, I need to process this.
Later....
Superman: Ah so you finally found out. I'm proud of him honestly, good to see he's willing to bond with others again.
Hal Jordan: You knew?
Superman: ...His kids basically call me Uncle Supes. I've babysat. I was around when he still just had Nightwing
WW: They're so cute! Children of such strength and bravery. Not to mention his dog, his cat, his cow... His son has animals even I've never seen before!
Hal Jordan: I've had enough.
And Hal hasn't even learned about his crime fighting cousin, batwing, Oracle, bluebird, Spoiler, and of course Jarro.
Note: everyone knows Supes is a father, he's the dad to talk your ear off about it but he's too nice with too much country charm for anyone to say anything about it. WW and Martian Manhunter are the only ones who listen absolutely intently.

okay but what if bruce and diana got whammied
i don't know if diana can get whammied! if she can she probably does it recreationally the way harley does, since sorrowverse sex pollen is just Instant Edging. either way i think she would consider bruce's consent impaired, and it doesn't help that bruce is generally able to avoid acting on getting whammied out of sheer spite.
i've waffled but i don't think those two really go anywhere until the first time bruce visits themyscira for medical reasons. i think seeing her with her family and in her lab is a game changer that recontextualizes a lot of things.

It’s so funny to think that for the longest time, Dick was probably the youngest/only child hero that the JL dealt with. It’s like when someone in a group of twenty year olds has a kid and that kid kind of becomes part of the group and goes everywhere with them and unofficially is the group’s collective kiddo. Like even as an adult, those original JL heroes probably still see Dick as “their kid” but also respect him more than any other hero his age. Must of also but them like a brick to see Dick “grow up” lol
I honestly love the trope of Dick being the baby of the League as the first child hero HAHA
I've only read one one-shot about this and I'm so sorry there aren't more, because I also love the idea of them all being like his uncles and aunts.
I imagine more than one feeling this "proud parent" feeling for his son when Dick becomes the leader of several teams 🫶
Like, that's their boy.
(He can probably kick some of their asses, but hey, he's still their boy).

No Ok this is very out of left field but Tim would absolutely collect completely unnecessary blackmail on the justice league just in case there's another timeline incident where nobody believes him. Even if they don't believe it the majority has been blackmailed to say they do

*So little known you had to buy a shitty/ancient edition just to own it. I’m considering Dogsbody, Fire and Hemlock, and Tale of Time City “well-known” by this rubric because they had recent reprint editions accessible in many US bookstores/Amazon, which is why I left them out!

it’s the picture of diana in lawrence’s wallet with her arms wrapped around a dog, it’s the horse riding awards in her bedroom and and the snake toy she has draped over her headboard .. it’s adam who wanted so badly to be a vet, adam who loves cats and brings them saucers of milk despite there being barely anything in his fridge .. it’s them bonding over their love of animals, diana showing adam her amazing animal facts book and adam asking for one every time he sees her, it’s adam saving up his own money so he can surprise her with a trip to the zoo for their next adam-and-diana day when lawrence and alison are at work and need someone to watch her, it’s him taking his camera, getting pictures of her with her favorite animals and developing them, it’s diana telling adam she wants to be a vet when she grows up and him getting excited, grabbing lawrence’s stethoscope when diana says she wants to play vets and taking his job oh so seriously when diana says that he’s gotta be her assistant, it’s .. its ..

Daryl Cavendish Headcanon
Can’t help but think about the image of Diana and Akko in the hospital post labor and Diana holding a baby that took on most of the Cavendish traits. Daryl watching on as her niece, who looks like her deceased sister, holds said baby and all of a sudden she’s transported to a day 26 years ago where she’s seen this image before. She just watches on sadly as she feels a slight twinge in her chest as she reminisces on memories long past and hopes history won’t repeat itself. However, as she watches Akko and Diana coo over the baby she throws those thoughts aside and smiles fondly. For now, everything is alright, and she knows Bernie would be proud.

As I've been reading through the Anne of Green Gables book series and watching the original film series that started in the 80s, I think ive cracked the code on the main difference between those two and the Netflix series Anne with and E.
Both the books and the moves really give off the feeling of snapshots through Anne's life. Oftentimes there are transitions from one point in Anne's life to another point years or months away. I understand why it is this way but I was often finding myself being like "erm wait a minute" she finished queens already?! Or in the second movie I was like hang on I'm sorry she has her BA already didn't she just agree to go back to college like ten minutes ago. This is really my only nitpick with the movies, they just kinda jump around and don't always give good lead up/explanation to it.
This is extremely juxtaposed with Anne with an E, where so much time is spent on one specific period of Anne's life. The show is just about her finding her place in Avonlea and going to school. No college, no Redmond, or a bunch of proposals. Just a coming of age story about a young girl growing into a teenager ready to take on life. So much more time is devoted to showing her connection with the Cuthberts, Diana, and Gilbert, and also literally everyone else. ESPECIALLY AUNT JOSEPHINE LIKE PUT SOME RESPECT ON HER NAME LUCY MAUD MONTGOMERY. jk jk I just... really love aunt Josephine ok
I could cook up a whole essay but to sum up books/movies snapshot of anne throughout her whole life, great moral lessons and insane plots but very jumpy aroundy. Netflix version: focused on one time of Anne and devoted to great character development
