Just caught back up with DCeased and the fact that Alfred didn't get to bury any of his dead family, he just had to do the same thing as before and immediately move on to prioritizing the surviving kid. That's pretty depressing, but not as depressing as Jason breaking into the Cave and finding them like that.

Chapter Twenty-Five
When I next opened my eyes, I could tell that I’d been asleep for a long time. I stepped out of the tent and stretched out happily. I strolled toward the centre of camp to get an update on events. I picked Monty out of a gossiping crowd and approached him with a smile.
“God, I slept so hard.” I chirped and noticed that he seemed distracted. “What disasters did I miss? Did the others get back okay?” I questioned with a joking smile before my face dropped when he didn’t smile back.
“Yeah, everyone is back fine. Actually, more people came back than expected.” He answered cryptically and I stared at him assessingly. “We found Murphy outside of camp last night.” He muttered under his breath and I felt my breath hitch in response. For a moment, I couldn’t believe what I’d heard and I stared at him with wide eyes.
“Murphy?” I confirmed, feeling a knot form in my stomach as he nodded in response. “Shit, that’s not going to go well.” I muttered and Monty rubbed a nervous hand on the back of his neck.
“I know he’s an asshole... but I caught a glimpse of him as they brought him inside and he looked horrific. From what I’ve heard, he was tortured by the grounders and it really does look that way.” Monty explained with a conflicted expression and my mouth dropped open in shock. I was about to question him more when I heard raised voices from the dropship.
“Thanks Monty, I’d better go deal with this.” I drawled with a building feeling of dread in my stomach. I forced one last quick smile at him, before heading in the direction of the voices. I rushed into the ship to see Bellamy, Finn and Clarke in a heated conversation and stopped in my tracks as I tried to catch up on the situation.
“Once he’s better, we find out what he knows and then he’s out of here, ok?”
I caught Clarke speaking to Bellamy in a hushed tone and it was clear that they were both engrossed in conversation. She moved to leave and I strode past her, further into the space. My attention landed on a small, shivering shape in the corner that vaguely resembled Murphy and I gasped in horror. He was coated in blood and even a quick glance revealed that his claims of torture were true. His body was covered in welts, burns, cuts and a selection of injuries that came directly from nightmares. I started to approach him slowly and Bellamy was too focused on Clarke to have noticed me.
“What if he refuses to leave?” Bellamy called to her back, but I kept my stunned eyes on Murphy. He quivered in fear as he scrutinised me and I tried to move as carefully as possible. “What do we do with him then?” Bellamy probed as they continued their argument behind me.
I took my time to enter Murphy’s space as he was jumpy and made it clear that I meant him no harm. I crouched down to his level and reached out to him carefully. I delicately took his hands into mine and realised with a grimace that his fingernails had been pulled out. I inspected him with such sympathy that I could barely hold back the tears, as I took in the shivering wreck that remained of him.
“Then we kill him.” Clarke delayed in a tone that was icy cold and I felt my temper growing at their conversation. I returned to a standing position and turned on the spot to squint at the two of them. They both had crossed arms and were staring at Murphy with threatening expressions.
“You two need to get out.” I spat, planting myself in front of him defensively. Bellamy seemed to finally register that I was here and he was clearly immensely uncomfortable with my proximity to Murphy.
“He can’t be here. Indigo, get out of my way.” He growled with an aggravated tone as he stepped towards me and his eyes flitted to Murphy with a blatant disgust.
“Stop it!” I yelled as my patience snapped and my voice raised without my consideration. “That’s enough from both of you.” I stated with a nod over to Clarke to confirm that my disappointment extended to her. “Bellamy, I know what happened because of his actions, but that doesn’t change that he’s one of the 100 and he has been tortured. He needs help and all you’re doing is making his suffering worse. If you want information from him, he needs to be well enough to speak. Look at him, right now he can barely even keep his eyes open! Get out.” I ordered with a bitter frustration and Bellamy regarded me in an obvious shock. “You too Clarke!” I announced as I threw a dismissing hand at her too. “You both made the decision on his punishment, it’s not appropriate for you to be involved now and it wont reflect well on your authority to camp! I’ll take responsibility for the decision to help him and we can discuss how you punish me for that to save face to the camp later.” I spoke quickly in my anger and as soon as I’d finished, I turned back towards Murphy again.
“Indigo, I can help you to-” I heard Clarke’s remorseful voice from behind before I’d even managed to bend again. I could tell that my words had caused a shame in her but her continued presence only served to make me more angry. I whipped back around to face her in fury.
“Did I stutter?” I snarled as I looked between them. “OUT! Both of you!” I yelled and they both jumped at my sudden temper. I gave one final glare before turning back to Murphy and was relieved to finally hear their footsteps leave the ship.
I took a few moments to gather supplies including a flask of Monty’s Moonshine and several rags, and water. I returned to Murphy’s side carefully as he quivered and watched me with a nervousness that broke my heart to witness. I took my time to gain his trust, starting by simply soaking his hands in warm water to try to clean him up. Once he was relaxed enough to let me do that without twitching at every minimal contact, I moved on to cleaning the cuts on his arms. I gradually worked my way up to a large burn that covered practically his entire shoulder. I could hardly stand to look at it, the brutality of what had been done to him was unbearable. I met his swollen eyes with a look of deep sadness.
“Why are you even helping me?” He choked out even as he struggled to get his breath. “You’ve been in my face since day one.” He muttered accusingly and I sighed as I continued to clean the huge amount of injuries on his body.
“Because you need it.” I answered firmly and he scoffed. “I got in your face because your bad decisions were leading the entire camp down a dangerous road, one that backfired on you.” I confessed as I wring out the cloth in the water and kept my focus on cleaning him. I found it difficult to meet his eyes as I comprehended the results of his banishment. “Whatever you did, you’ve endured more punishment than you deserved. I’m going to make sure it ends here.” I assured him, holding his gaze. He fidgeted awkwardly and I clocked several cuts through a tear in his shirt. When he leaned back against the wall, I slid the shirt to get a better look at them and realised they were deeper than the rest of his injuries. He flinched away from my touch and I gazed with a gentle understanding.
“Murphy, I really need to clean these or they’ll definitely get infected. I’ll spare you as much pain as I can, but these ones need alcohol. I promise I’ll be tender.” I reasoned with him and although he still viewed me with suspicion, he lowered his guard.
I guided his arm out of the t-shirt so that I could pull one side up to his neck, revealing three large, deep gashes. I opened the bottle of moonshine and peeked at him for a sign that he was prepared. As soon as he nodded and gritted his teeth, I poured the moonshine over and he cried out. I quickly put it down and as he leaned forward to double up in pain I pulled him into me, allowing him to rest his head on my shoulder. I rubbed his back soothingly as I felt his hot tears soaking into my shirt and battled to keep my composure. We remained in this position until he willingly sat back and perceived me with surprise.
Once I’d finished with the wounds on his chest, I left his side momentarily to fetch some fresh water. In the moment that I was about to return, I was startled by the sound of retching and turned back to see Murphy on his hands and knees. He was bringing up copious amounts of bright red fluid and the strain seemed to be causing him to almost convulse. I rushed back over to his side to support him and once he was done, I helped him back into a sitting position. I pushed his wet hair back from his face and he stared at me with terrified eyes. Clarke suddenly stormed into the room to make a bee line for him, but I wouldn’t let her past me, blocking her from touching him.
“Clarke, are you incapable of understanding?! You can’t be here!” I hissed as I stopped her from passing me.
“I’m sorry but this is important.” She insisted and I stared at her in annoyance as she settled almost beside me instead. “Murphy, I need you to tell me exactly how you escaped from the grounders. What happened?” She grilled and I took a deep breath in an effort to contain my temper. Murphy shook his head in a slow heavy manner and I could feel the tension building in my chest.
“I don’t know.” He mumbled and more fluid fell from his mouth as he spoke. I grabbed a damp rag and wiped his mouth with an impatient glance at Clarke.
“Clarke, he’s sick. Can’t this wait?” I questioned as I felt the growing sickness of her insistent behaviour. Despite my words, she stared at him expectantly and he struggled to get the words out.
“I woke up and they forgot to lock my cage. There was no one there so I took off.” He answered in difficulty and I started to block her again.
“They let you go.” She whispered in a crestfallen manner as she leaned away.
“You have your answer, now get out.” I spat as I finally ran out of patience and pushed her the rest of the way out of his space. “Try to relax Murphy.” I voiced reassuringly as I pushed his hair back from his face again to calm him. I wiped the cloth around his face to clean the various wounds, worrying that if any of the fluid were to get in them it would cause an infection. As I busied myself with this, I caught the sound of heavy footsteps and knew without even turning around who had just entered.
“Bellamy, stay back!” Clarke called in a frantic manner and I couldn’t help wondering what had changed her tune. I rolled my eyes as I prepared for whatever conflict was about to happen and sighed in annoyance. I dipped the cloth in the water again and held it gently to Murphy’s head to cool him off, holding his hair back carefully. I glanced over my shoulder to see that Bellamy had paused in place in the centre of the room and was watching me tend to Murphy with a furious expression. He then glanced over to Clarke in concern and at his expression I made my first proper assessment of her since she had entered. She looked awful, her skin was pale and covered in a sheen of sweat.
“Did he do something to you?” Bellamy interrogated and I glared back at him. I peeked at Clarke and realised that she had red fluid around her eyes with a lurch in my stomach. Bellamy seemed to notice this at the same moment as his eyes grew wide. “What the hell is this?” He asked, tensely glancing between her and Murphy.
“Biological warfare.” She revealed with a hint of fear in her voice. “You were waiting for the grounders to retaliate for the bridge? This is it. Murphy is the weapon.” Clarke spoke poignantly and Murphy looked up at Bellamy nervously. I understood why, as I anticipated Bellamy responding to this information rashly and mentally prepared myself to stand my ground. I grabbed a nearby cup of water and held it up to Murphy’s lips.
“You need to keep hydrated, here.” I ordered quietly in an effort not to draw attention to us. He took a long, careful drink and I placed the cup at his side. I was tenderly pushing his hair back again when I was suddenly dragged backwards by my shirt along the dropship floor. I struggled in an attempt to stop the motion, but it was to no avail. The moment that I stopped in the middle of the room, I sprung furiously to my feet only to find that it was Bellamy who was responsible. “What the fuck is wrong with you?! I told you to get out, what part of that is hard for you to understand?!” I snarled as I felt myself shaking in outrage.
“He’s contagious!” He growled back as he pointed at Murphy, but I recognised a hint of jealousy in his eyes as he perceived him. “Didn’t you hear Clarke, you can’t be near him. We should get him out whilst we still can!” He threatened and moved to step toward Murphy. I didn’t hesitate for a moment in blocking him, pushing him back with all of my might. I surprised even myself at the power I managed to produce as adrenaline flooded me. I threw him back with a viscous glare and he stopped in his tracks.
“Don’t make me put you on your ass Bellamy, because so help me god, I will! Get out of my sight!” I rasped, radiating anger on a level that he hadn’t seen from me before. I could tell from his wide eyes that he hadn’t anticipated this kind of veracity from me and I dug my heels in.
“He’ll make you sick!” Bellamy argued, defensively indicating back to Murphy and his brows knitted together as he tried to appeal to me.
“You already beat him to it!” I screamed in a loss of control as my venomous nature overwhelmed my senses. Bellamy froze in shock at my words and I narrowed my eyes at him. He opened his mouth to speak and closed it again several times as he seemed to be lost for words and I pushed a feeling of regret to the back of my mind.
“Indigo, you need to get away from him, you’re not sick yet. You might be immune and if you are they’ll need you in camp.” Clarke approached me carefully from behind and it was clear that she wanted to put an end to the rising tensions. Although she tried to draw my attention to her I kept my eyes fixed furiously on Bellamy.
“I’m not leaving him to suffer.” I stated adamantly without even looking at her and Bellamy scoffed in annoyance as my attitude broke through his shock.
“I’ll take care of him, I’m already infected.” Clarke suggested in a soft voice and I finally looked at her sceptically.
“I don’t trust you.” I announced coldly whilst I crossed my arms. “Both of you openly discussed killing him, right in front of him, this morning. Don’t you think he’s been through enough punishment?!” I argued as I appealed to their reasonable sides, despite the endless fury that burned in my chest.
“Clarke’s right.” Bellamy declared as he clocked me with a cold, determined expression. “Get her out of here.” He ordered as he dropped his gaze to the ground and in barely a few moments two of his followers descended on me. I was furious that he didn’t have the decency to remove me himself and it struck me that he was using them to distance himself from the action. They grabbed both of my arms and began to drag me from the space. I kicked and thrashed desperately, making every step difficult for them but I couldn’t stop them from taking me.
“No, you can’t do this!” I howled as I fought aimlessly. As I was about to be carried over the threshold, the sounds of coughing and violent seizing paused us all in place. After barely thirty seconds of vomiting sounds and what sounded like a disagreement, Clarke called out to them.
“Bring her back.” She ordered, causing them to drag me back into the ship and they held onto me as they awaited instructions. “We need to set up a quarantine zone, you can’t take her anywhere.” She clarified as her brows knitted and both of the men holding me looked to Bellamy for confirmation. He nodded reluctantly, and it was clear that he wasn’t satisfied with this outcome. The men finally released their grip on me and I marched back over to Murphy without even looking at Bellamy. I picked up a fresh rag to begin tending to Murphy’s badly beaten face again and had to battle to return to tender movements as I shook with rage. In all of the commotion, I didn’t even notice Finn enter the space until I heard him asking Clarke what to do.
“Round up everyone who had contact with Murphy. Bring them here.” She instructed and Finn immediately rushed out to do her bidding.
“And everyone they’ve had contact with.?” I heard Bellamy questioning her order and my stomach lurched. I could only imagine how extreme things would become if he had any input.
“Well, we have to start somewhere.” Clarke answered in annoyance. “Connor, who was with you when you found him?” I heard her grilling another sick person and rolled my eyes at her complete lack of empathy. “Who carried him in? Think.” She demanded. The response was slow and when he finally spoke, his voice was quiet.
“The first one there was Octavia.” He confirmed in a gravelly voice. I felt my stomach twist in response and I observed Bellamy over my shoulder with wide eyes.
“No, she can’t have.” I gasped in denial as I felt fear gripping my chest.
Without a single word, Bellamy rushed from the ship and I was still trapped, forced to wait nervously. I continued to nurse Murphy as he gradually got worse, but I could hardly think straight over the panic in my mind. After a few moments, Bellamy dragged Octavia into the shop and Clare began checking her over. By this point, many other people were arriving and the space was quickly becoming crowded. I waited anxiously for an answer from Clarke, as she shined a flashlight in Octavia’s mouth.
“Okay, we’re done.” She announced and I immediately rushed over to find out what was happening. “No visible signs of swelling or bleeding.” She explained and I peeked up at Bellamy to see him holding a rag over his face. If I weren’t still furious with his behaviour today I’d scold him for even being in here, but I knew that like me, when it came to Octavia there was no reasoning with him.
“So you’re saying she doesn’t have it?” Bellamy asked hopefully and I found myself hoping alongside him.
“I’m saying she doesn’t have symptoms, like Indigo. But that could change. We need to keep her here too, just in case.” Clarke reported in a matter of fact manner and I mentally thanked every force I could for keeping her healthy so far.
“No way. Look at this place. She’ll get sick just being here.” Bellamy argued against the order and for the first time today I actually agreed with him.
“Seriously Clarke, she can’t be here.” I blurted despite my reluctance to agree with Bellamy and he glanced at me, quickly looking away when he saw that I noticed.
“Do you want to stop the spread or not?” Clarke probed in an exasperated voice and Bellamy scanned the sick people filling the room reluctantly. “Look, I’ll keep her on the third level with the people who aren’t symptomatic yet.” She clarified but it was clear that he still wasn’t convinced. “Think of it as a way to stop her from sneaking out again.” She reasoned and I studied her suspiciously.
“Screw you Clarke.” Octavia spat and I smiled at her attitude. Clarke shrugged in a tired response and I realised that she seemed to be getting worse too.
“I’ll let you know if her condition changes.” She promised and Bellamy finally nodded in agreement. I hid my relief when he finally left the ship and it wasn’t lost on me that it took the promise of containing his sister to motivate him to agree to keeping her here. Octavia stepped to climb the ladder but Clarke turned immediately to stop her. “Octavia stop.” She blurted and I watched with interest, already feeling that Clarke was up to something. “I need you to sneak out again.” She divulged and I couldn’t contain the words that fought their way from me.
“No, absolutely not.” I growled as I stepped in front of Octavia defensively in an effort to shield her from Clarke’s plan.
“We need to know if there’s a cure. If she can get to Lincoln, he may have an antidote, like last time.” Clarke reasoned as she addressed me and I spied her with an expression of disbelief.
“If she can get there! In case you forgot, the woods are filled with grounders who want us dead.” I argued as I stepped closer into her space in a threatening manner.
“I can do it, I’ll be back as soon as possible.” Octavia answered, taking advantage of the slight additional distance between us now. She rushed from my reach before I could stop her and although I moved to catch her up, she practically ran out of the dropship. Clarke stepped into my path with a wavering attempt at a firm look.
“Indigo, people are dying, she’s our only chance.” Clarke appealed to me and I glared at her in fury, pacing like a caged animal.
“This was a mistake, and lying to Bellamy about it is even worse. He trusted you to keep her safe.” I spat in disgust. “I’m sick of everyone in this camp involving me in their lies.” I breathed but I was interrupted by the sound of Murphy choking again. I tore myself away from Clarke to tend to him again, despite wishing that I’d been able to fully express my disappointment with her decision.
Clarke rounded up some of the more able members of the quarantine to remove the bodies of those who had already succumbed to the infection. She followed them out whilst I looked after Murphy in an effort to stop myself obsessing over Octavia. I started to lightly cough and when I returned my gaze to him, Murphy was staring at me with alarm.
“Your eyes.” He gasped. I rubbed the edge of my eye and glanced down at my hand to find tears that were tinted with a slightly pink tone. Murphy leaned over to grab a clean rag and wiped away any trace of the fluid. I smiled at him gratefully and got to my feet.
I quickly walked to the entrance in search of Clarke. I was driven by a need to tell her that her immunity theory wasn’t looking promising, as I now panicked that Octavia could have developed symptoms whilst alone in the woods. I stepped just outside of the doors and found Clarke standing on the ramp to the ship talking to Bellamy from a distance. As I wandered out, Clarke turned around to head in and clocked my presence with a worried expression.
“Octavia, you okay?” Bellamy called upwards and Clarke met my eyes in pure panic. When he didn't receive an answer, he moved to storm into the ship and I stepped past her to block him from entering. I couldn’t allow him to put himself at risk, especially only to find that he’d been lied to.
“She’s not here Bellamy. Clarke sent her to look for Lincoln, against my advice.” I answered with bitterness, glaring at Clarke in annoyance. I was done with helping to keep secrets. She turned reluctantly to face him and he glowered at her viciously.
“Look, if there’s a cure, he has it.” She tried to justify her decision but he seemed thoroughly unimpressed with her excuse. “I didn’t tell you because I knew you wouldn’t let her go.” She admitted in a small voice causing him to scoff.
“If anything happens to her, you and me are gonna have problems.” He growled, before turning on his heel to stomp away from us.
“Us too.” I spat, crossing my arms at her. “You should have trusted him with the decision. He’s more reasonable than you give him credit for.” I stated firmly. Despite my outrage at his behaviour today, I didn’t appreciate her treating him like a wild animal.
A commotion in the crowd drew my attention as Bellamy yelled at someone to get to the dropship. I scanned the faces until I found the person who was coughing up blood and I calmly walked over to them. At the same time, another person fell to the ground on the other side of the gathered crowd. I could hear a panic overtaking as people started to frantically rush out of the way, but I kept my focus on the guy who was now bleeding profusely from his eyes. As I reached him, I wrapped an arm around his waist to support his weight and assisted in getting him to the ship. As the screaming grew louder, I could feel the camp descending into chaos around me but I resisted the urge to look around or involve myself in any way. Clarke appeared at the entrance of the dropship with a large gun and fired multiple shots into the air to draw the attention of the crowd. I was nearly at the door by the time she took control and ignored her opening speech. I struggled inside and placed the person I’d supported down into a comfortable position with others who could tend to them. I straightened myself up and started marching toward the gate to exit camp with purpose. I heard Bellamy violently disarm someone who was foolish enough to point a gun at Clarke, but I didn’t stop moving due to fear of drawing attention to myself.
“Not to state the obvious, but your quarantine isn’t working.” Bellamy addressed her firmly and I breathed a slight laugh.
“Finn don’t touch her!” I heard Raven call out in a panicked tone. I glanced over my shoulder to see Finn running over to catch Clarke as her knees buckled and I rolled my eyes at his foolishly romantic nature. Just as I reached out to touch the gate Bellamy appeared beside me, holding it closed to stop me from leaving.
“Where are you going?” He grilled as he surveyed me in a state of disbelief. I fidgeted on the spot as I squirmed under his intense gaze.
“To find Octavia before this madness gets any worse.” I explained as I tried in vain to push past him but he put a hand on my arm as he spoke again.
“You’re supposed to be in quarantine.” He stated firmly as he raised a brow at me and I was surprised to find that the tension between us from earlier seemed to have dissolved.
“Then you probably shouldn’t be touching me.” I replied, glancing down at his hand with a sly smile and he stepped back with a reluctance in his eyes. “She’s been out there for too long, I need to find her. I’m not sick, I can do it.” I insisted as I lied through my teeth in the hope that he couldn’t see any hint of the tears that Murphy had wiped away earlier. As they were only slightly tinged with red, I felt I still had enough time to recover Octavia and get back before my symptoms worsened. He leaned back to allow me to leave but before I could move, the gate swung open to reveal Octavia who pushed past the two of us without a word.
“There is no cure.” She announced in a flat tone as she drew the attention of the camp. “But the grounders don’t use the sickness to kill.” She clarified, causing the sounds of confusion to echo from the crowd. Bellamy strode over to her in irritation and I stayed rooted to the spot, unwilling to put myself in the middle of them again.
“Really? Tell that to them!” He argued, as he pointed to the pile of bodies that had just been carried from the ship. “I warned you about seeing that grounder again.” He hissed in a disappointed manner and I found myself relieved that I hadn’t been a part of that conversation.
“Yeah well, I have a warning for you too.” She spat, looking at him with the same furious disdain she had viewed me with yesterday. “The grounders are coming! They’re attacking at first light!” She yelled, earning several gasps and cries of panic from the camp. I felt myself tense in response to this information and Octavia turned to face me with wide eyes. “Indigo, your eyes!” She gasped. I put a hand to my eyes and found red tears again, which were significantly more vivid than when they had started earlier.
“Shit.” I hissed, before holding up a hand to keep her away. “Don’t touch me, I need to get back to quarantine.” I ordered firmly and couldn’t help feeling frustrated that my symptoms had worsened so quickly. Octavia inspected me in worry, but I waited for her to move first in an attempt to keep her at a distance. She sighed and started to walk away, but instead of taking herself away from infected people she approached Finn, glancing back to check that I was following.
“Come on, I’ll help you get Clarke into the dropship.” She suggested as they started to carry Clarke between them. I slowly plodded through camp and towards the ship, finding the short journey back far more difficult than I did the first time.
“How many bullets can you make by first light?”
I heard Bellamy speaking to Raven as I passed them and I got the strange sensation that everything was happening in slow motion. I felt my legs shaking and my vision gradually blurred until I couldn’t make out my surroundings. Before I could reach out to anything to support myself, my legs gave way and I dropped toward the ground. I was surprised when I didn’t feel an impact and instead seemed to be rising higher. I felt myself being cradled and squinted to my side to see Bellamy regarding me in concern. It took me a moment to understand that he had caught me and was clutching me to his chest in a bridal style carry.
“Stop!” I tried to sound assertive but my voice came out quiet and croaking. “Don’t touch me, you’ll get sick.” I hissed whilst I tried to push him away.
“Too late to worry about that now.” He tried to force a smile but it didn’t reach his eyes, which still scrutinised me with worry.
“No it’s not, put me down and rinse your hands in alcohol.” I ordered and although it sounded authoritative in my mind, my words came out breathy and soft. I wiggled in an attempt to get away from him for a second, before my arms dropped limply and I felt my head tipping back. I had no energy left to move at all and hung in his arms like a ragdoll.
“Let’s get you inside.” Bellamy answered gently, carrying me toward the dropship.

The Rook
After Lex reveals Kara's secret identity, Lena thinks she's fine - until she's not. The one person she trusted implicitly has betrayed her trust, and she doesn't know if she'll ever be able to believe in people again.
It's a tough lesson, but some things you just can't live without.
AKA - the angsty post S4 fic where Lena experiences heartbreak and anger as well as discovers the meaning of true love.
"I don't want to kill Supergirl, I just want her to experience the same hurt she inflicted on me."
*Hides behind rock* I know, it's been like 5 months, and I'm sorry! The book is still chugging along, but after seeing the SG trailer at SDCC I had to write something! Cue angst, heartbreak and devastating loss (with a happy ending of course!) Buckle in y'all, it's gonna get worse before it gets better!
Oh! and every chapter has a song to fit the mood! First up is "Nothing Breaks Like a Heart" by Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus.
Nothing Breaks Like a Heart
Numb.
Lena’s not exactly sure how else to describe it.
The feeling in her chest that spreads out to her finger tips, the heavy, sinking feeling that makes her feel like she drowning.
She not unfamiliar with the feeling.
Quite the opposite, actually.
She’s spent the majority of her life near suffocation from the choking feelings of inadequacy and betrayal.
Practically from the start of her time with the Luthors, she’d been judged and ridiculed and left on the outskirts.
Maybe not overtly, but certainly purposefully.
She knows without a doubt that Lilian orchestrated most of her young life in order to maximize feelings of ‘less than’.
Whatever she had done to gain the Luthor Matron’s ire had occurred long before she set foot in the Luthor Mansion.
Regardless, of the reason, she dealt with the consequences for years - long days at various different lessons, Irish boarding school, hard pressure to get early acceptance into MIT. Even once she had graduated and was doing ground breaking experimental work with Jack, Lilian’s glare was a constant presence over her shoulder.
It became even worse once she took over L Corp - doubly so. Nothing she ever did lived up to Lex’s legend, and she certainly never bowed to the Luthor agenda.
She had finally caved to Lilian’s pressure, hoping to do something to gain her mother’s approval - an alien detection device, one that would allow regular citizens to tell if the people they were interacting with aliens disguised as humans.
She was so confident that the device would win over Lilian’s good will, that she would finally live up to the Luthor name, (without being a murdering psychopath).
But then, something had happened, something that had made her realize that maybe she didn’t need to toe the line of xenophobia to gain the approval she was seeking.
Her entire world had turned upside down the day that Kara Danvers had walked in her office, offering a kind rebuke at the alien detection device.
Suddenly, her entire world had shifted.
Her desire for Lilian’s approval wasn’t gone, but now it paled in comparison to the need for Kara’s. (Maybe that was a stupid reason to nix a million dollar project and piss off investors, but it sounds better that saying a pretty girl made her do it.)
And unlike Lilian’s approval, Kara’s was easily given.
Nearly anything she did was met with unwavering approval, and unfaltering enthusiasm.
It was like crack, honestly, having someone who supported her and believed in her like Kara. Every time something came up that she thought would finally shake Kara’s trust, it backfired in the exact opposite direction.
Evidence shows that she’s stealing Kryptonite?
Kara stands up for her.
Evidence shows that she’s poisoning little kids?
Kara stands up for her.
Even when she hides Sam’s condition from Kara’s . . . friend, Supergirl -
Kara stands up for her.
It’s intoxicating, and it has nothing to do with Kara’s perfect hair and beautiful smile.
it has nothing to do with how Kara brings her donuts during Lilian’s trial.
It has nothing to do with how she always smiles at Lena, even in the face of Supergirl’s disapproving pout.
And it definitely has nothing to do with the way Kara smells when she wraps an arm around Lena and solemnly promises to always be there for her.
It’s just nice, to be supported and believed in for once in her life.
It’s even more nice to have a self-proclaimed best friend that stands by her no matter what
(It does help that Lena has a huge, gigantic, undeniable crush on said best friend.)
But it’s not like she can say anything.
There’s no way that sweet, charming, beautiful, sometimes trips over her own words Kara would ever feel the same way about Lena.
It’s a statistical improbability,
Which is exactly why Lena suffers through lunches and game nights and a few too close to be just friendly hugs.
Kara’s friendship is enough, she shouldn’t want more. Kara is already so much better than anything she ever dreamed of having, she isn’t going to risk what they have by confessing something as inconvenient as feelings.
So she shoves her feelings away in a little box, and refuses to acknowledge them. Just like she refuses to acknowledge that her best friend looks a lot like the girl of steel.
She over compensates, almost to the point of hilarity; pushing Kara behind her in dangerous situations, insisting on being mad at her alter ego while still cozying up to her favorite reporter.
It’s stupid, but it somehow works in her brain. Allows her to ignore the fact that her best friend in the entire universe is also maybe, sort of, definitely Supergirl.
(It also allows her to ignore that Kara hasn’t told her said fact.)
It hurts, in a weird way, knowing that Kara is keeping something so important from her. But just like the facts, she puts that in a little box and ignores it too.
At least, until it all comes crashing down.
Lex, the goddamn bastard, couldn’t be good for anything, not even in death.
And if Lena feels like shit for thinking such a thing, she feels even worse knowing that what he’s telling her is true.
All of her little boxes come flying open, and they refuse to be closed again, no matter how hard she tries.
Kara’s identity, all the feelings of inadequacy and rejection, her burning desire for belonging and family - all of it comes rushing to the surface.
She tries to fight it, she does, but it feels unavoidable as it all comes crashing down around her.
Kara, her best friend, is Supergirl.
She was blind not to see it before, really.
She blames it on the little boxes.
Now though, she can’t deny it.
Kara is Supergirl.
And it hurts, somewhere deep in her chest.
Some part of her recognizes it as those feelings of inadequacy and unbelonging that belong to Lilian. Only now it’s her best friend making her feel that way. The person that promised to always be in her corner and have her back.
It’s almost debilitating.
She tries so hard to shove that in a little box too, but it doesn’t work. If anything, it backfires.
”You're with me, right?” Kara asks her on game night, and Lena stamps a foot down on the little box threatening to fly open - bile biting at the back of her throat.
“Always.”
* - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
It all comes crashing down a week later when Kara finally confronts her.
“Lena?” Kara asks, and Lena freezes, sensing the trepidation in her voice.
“No, you don’t have anything in your teeth.” She teases, trying to belay the way her heart rate doubles.
“No, I know, I just . . . “
“What?” Lena asks, voice calm but her heart racing.
“i just . . . I’ve been meaning to tell you, but I never really had the chance. Well, I mean I did, but Alex said . . . What I’m trying to say is -“
“Don’t.” Lena tells her, surprised at the firmness in her voice.
“Lena, I have to . . .”
Their eyes lock, and Lena shivers. So much for little boxes.
“I’m . . .” Kara reaches for her glasses.
“Kara . . .”
“I’m Supergirl.” Kara finishes weakly, her hands trembling as they lower her glasses to her side.
“Kara.” she chokes out. “Don’t.”
“Lena - “ Kara starts to explain, but Lena ignores her.
Kara looks so incredibly sad, eyes welling up with tears and the muscles in her neck trembling.
“I know. I know all about your little secret.” Lena swallows hard, fighting back the tears. “You know why? Because Lex told me. I didn’t get to find out from you, or Alex; no, I got to find out from my homicidal brother. I suppose I was stupid for not seeing it before - naive to think that the most important person in my life wouldn’t hide something like that from me. I guess I was wrong, I’m just a fool.” She bites out the words, putting as much of her frustration into them as she can.
She may not be able to hurt Kara physically, but emotionally?
After a lifetime of living with Lilian?
That she can do.
“Lena, I didn’t do it to hurt you -“
“Really?” Lena scoffs, choking back tears. “Then why do I feel like you’ve taken a knife and stabbed it into my heart?”
Kara’s eyes look so full of remorse that Lena almost caves.
“I never meant to hurt you, that’s the last thing I wanted to do.”
“Oh, then what was your master plan? I’d love to hear it.”
“Lena . . .” Kara’s upper lip trembles.
“Literally everyone around you knew, except me.” Lena goads. “What exactly was your point? Other than to prove just how untrustworthy Luthors are?”
“No! I would never! Lena, I trust you more than anyone; maybe even more than Alex, that’s why I had to -“
“That’s why you had to lie to me?” Lena interjects, unwilling to let Kara finish her sentence.
“I didn’t want to lie to you!”
“Then why did you?!”
They stare at each other - an unstoppable force and an immovable object - the tension nearly crackling the air between them.
Finally, the unstoppable force causes the object to move, and Kara speaks.
“Because when I first met you . . . you were . . . are the most beautiful woman I’d ever met.”
Lena’s heart jumps in her throat at Kara’s words, because surely she doesn’t mean them like that.
And I didn’t know if it was clouding my judgment, because Clark was so sure that you were just like your brother. But I refused to judge you on your family, and the next thing I knew, you were my best friend.” Her voice chokes off, and Lena forces herself to look away.
“You are my best friend,” Kara corrects herself. “And I didn’t want to screw it up. No one’s ever wanted to be my best friend before - besides Alex, I guess, and in the beginning that was only because she had to. But you,” she laughs softly. “you were so fiercely in my corner, about everything; being a reporter, CatCo, Mon-el being a jerk . . . I’ve never had anyone stand up for me like that. And I wanted to be the same for you, because you deserve it. “
“If I deserve you standing up for me, then why couldn’t you just tell me who you really are?”
“Because - “ Kara huffs. “Because, okay, maybe for the first few weeks I was worried that you might turn on me because of your brother. But then I . . . I was selfish. Because you were the only person that I could be 'just Kara' around. I didn’t have to worry about being Supergirl. And then, the longer it went on, I knew that I should tell you, I knew you would be so upset when you found out and I couldn’t stand to hurt you like that. . . . I was afraid that you’d never forgive me.”
“Why do you even care? I’m just a Luthor, right.”
She’s prodding Kara to a more direct answer, she knows it, but she never expects what comes out of the other woman’s mouth.
“Because I love you, okay?” Kara’s eyes fill with tears as Lena’s heart jumps in her throat.
"And maybe there was some part of me that hoped that I could keep bringing you lunch and you’d keep sending me flowers and maybe I could pretend that you love me too. And I’m sorry that I hurt you, and that you found out the way you did; just know that I would take it all back if I could. I would tell you myself, even if it meant you would hate me.”
“Kara . . . “ she knows deep down that she can never hate Kara, no matter how much she wants to. “You don’t get to say that you love me just to get me to stop being mad at you.”
“I’m not.” Kara vows fiercely. “But if we’re laying all our cards out on the table, I thought that you should know. I love your passion, I love your fire. I love the fact that you always stand up for what you think is right - even if it differs from what I think. I love that you throw yourself into your work, and I hate the fact that you forget to eat. I love that you pour your heart and soul into the children’s hospital and that you refuse to let anything stop that. I love how snuggly you get after a couple of glasses of wine, but I hate how self deprecating you get. I just want you to see you the way that I see you, and I was afraid that you knowing I’m Supergirl would hurt that. I guess I hoped that deep down, you loved me too. And I don’t know what my game plan was for that, or where I hoped we would end up -“
“Kara!” Lena chokes it out, barely able to keep the tears from falling down her cheeks.
“Lena, I just -“
“Don’t.” She says for the third time that night, desperate to stop the words coming from Kara’s mouth.
“I had to let you know how I felt, I know it’s bad timing, but I had to tell you the truth. I didn’t want it to be like this.”
Tears track down Kara’s face, but still, Lena stays strong, brushing past her and heading for the exit.
“Lena -“
It takes everything Lena has to ignore her, and move to the door.
* - - - - - - - -
Ever since Lex told her about Kara’s identity, she’s been in a fog.
She thought that it would get better once she had a chance to confront Kara.
What she didn’t expect was Kara’s . . . confession. It throws her for a loop, one she hadn’t seen coming in a million years. It should have made her ecstatic, it would have made her ecstatic in any other circumstance, but now it just leaves a sour taste in her mouth.
Of course Kara would pick the middle of her Supergirl reveal to spill out her heart, of course.
It fits so well with the Kara she knows and loves. That she would be so open and vulnerable that she would decide to lay her whole heart on the line.
Lena loves it, but she hates it.
Every part of her is screaming that Kara is just manipulating her, the same way she’s been manipulated for her entire life - bribed with love and affection.
She refuses to fall into the old trap again.
She is a strong independent woman, and she doesn’t need someone else to complete her.
And it’s true, she knows it’s true.
She doesn’t need anyone.
But it doesn’t help that she wants Kara.
She ignores every text, every call; she even tells Jess to revoke Kara’s unlimited access to her office (and she’s met with a giant frown and a questioning glare that she knows she’s going to have to answer to later).
But still, when her stomach growls sometime after one, she wishes that Kara’s smiling face was bopping through her door, waving a sack of takeout.
Even minus the lunches, she misses Kara.
Which is why she finds herself stretching and heading to her office door - maybe she can ask Jess to order food and convince her that it wouldn’t be weird to eat lunch with her boss.
Only when she asks Jess to order out, the other woman looks at her . . . strangely.
“What?”
“I uh, already ate.” Jess says almost guiltily.
“Oh. Did you happen to order anything for me?” Lena tries to sound as nonchalant as possible, but it still comes out almost whiney. Before Kara, Jess always made sure to order lunch for Lena, even if she knew she wouldn’t eat it.
“Uhh, I uhh, didn’t order out.” Jess’ eyes flicker to the mini fridge under her desk.
“Oh, ok.” Lena lets it drop, obviously Jess doesn't it want to talk about it.
Maybe she has a new crush that brought her lunch and she isn’t ready to talk about it. Filing the information away for later, she shrugs.
“Could I get you to order me something then? Maybe an apple walnut salad from Noonan’s? I’ve been craving one lately.”
Jess’ eyes go back to the mini fridge, and Lena leans over the desk to stare at it as well.
“Is there something in there I should know about?” She asks, her mind immediately going to a bomb; and it’s so twisted that a bomb is the first thing she thinks of being stored in a mini fridge of all places, but it’s not the oddest -
“Kara!” Jess blurts, and Lena shifts her gaze back to her assistant.
“Kara’s in the mini fridge?”
“No.” Jess sighs. “Kara brought you lunch, and it’s in there. I know you said specifically that you didn’t want to see her or hear from her, so I didn’t want to tell you about it, but she insisted that I take it, and you know how persistent she can be!”
“So when you said you already ate . . .”
“She brought me broccoli cheddar soup, and you know that’s my favorite and I should have just ordered out but -“
“Jess - “ Lena placates her with a warm smile that’s only half forced. “Just because I’m not speaking to Kara doesn’t mean you can’t. Besides, it was broccoli cheddar soup.”
“Your lunch is still in there if you want it?” Jess offers, gesturing to the mini fridge.
“Oh, I’m not really that hungry, I forgot I had a big breakfast.” It’s a lie, she hasn’t eaten since lunch the day before; and her stomach quickly betrays her with loud growl.
Jess raises her eyebrows pointedly before reaching to the fridge and taking out a container and passing it to Lena.
It’s an apple walnut salad from Noonan’s, with a folded note taped to the front.
Of course.
“Really, I’ll just wait til dinner. . .” Lena protests weakly, her stomach fighting hard against her stubborn will.
“If she asks, I’ll tell her I threw it in the garbage and you never even saw it.”
Lena narrows her eyes.
“Fine, I’ll eat it, but if she asks, tell her you gave it to me and I threw it in the garbage.”
“Whatever you say, boss, whatever you say."

The fatal flaw in the 9/11 cover-up!!
(Long but worth the read)
September 11, 2021
9/11 was one of the most pivotal events in world history. Its impact will be felt for years to come. You owe it to yourself to go beyond the sound bites and the simplified official story. This is an extremely complicated story with numerous players and motives.
Why can no one name the hijackers or prove they flew the planes?
Know how to tell the difference between the truth and lies of 9/11? If they're talking about hijackers having done the dastardly deed, you know they're part of the sinister cover up extravaganza, wittingly or not.
In order for the people of the world to be convinced that Islamic hijackers were responsible for terrible tragedy of 9/11, we need to see some evidence. Not hearsay, innuendo, aspersion or promises of evidence, but real evidence.
Otherwise, the whole subject is rightly regarded as a ruse, a setup to conceal the identities of the real culprits, the ones who sit smugly in front of the TV cameras and plot their cynical war on terror — otherwise known as the war on the peoples of the world.
As President Bush continues to insist that his word be accepted as truth on numerous questions, time after time his statements have been revealed as blatant falsehoods. Yet he continues to repeat them, and the whorish corporate media continues to accept them.
Why hasn't either the Bush administration or some element of law enforcement in the United States issued a single solid piece of evidence connecting the hijackers to the hijacked airplanes? Why don’t the alleged hijackers appear on the airport security videos? Why aren’t there credit card records of their ticket purchases?
Why did FBI director Robert Mueller say very publicly to the Commonwealth Club of San Francisco that nothing on paper connected Arab terrorists to 9/11? I mean, 19 years have passed. And the feds produced 19 names within 72 hours of the disaster. Notice a mathematical inconsistency here? All that has happened since is mere vigilante hysteria, hypothetical scenarios trumpeted ad nauseum by America’s notoriously brainwashed Zionist press.
Seven or eight of the names on that original list have been found living comfortably in other countries. Why hasn’t the FBI made any attempt to correct the errors made on that original list?
And why, after much hullabaloo about Colin Powell using phony information in his remarks to the United Nations about the reasons for war, hasn’t the U.S. government produced a single conclusive piece of evidence to back up its claim that 9/11 was the work Osama bin Laden and other Islamic terrorists? Not a single piece!
If you disagree, tell me what it is!
There's a simple answer to this, you know. It's because there isn't any evidence. And why is that? Because those pseudo-Muslims revealed to be so publicly incompetent at piloting jerkwater training planes had absolutely zero chance of flying sophisticated jetliners into anything narrower than the Grand Canyon, never mind executing tricky maneuvers with extraordinarily complicated machinery.
The unknown men who played the roles of the so-called Arab terrorist hijackers were really recruited by either American and/or Israeli intelligence services in a scheme set up as a diversion to inflame dumb Westerners against the Islamic world. The purpose was to divert the world’s attention from the Israeli genocide and dispossession of the Palestinians by blaming the attacks on Muslims.
But that was only half the objective. The other half was to enable our despicable cabal of neocon gangbangers to fleece the American public with an endless array of no-bid contracts to enrich the conscienceless billionaires who are really driving the war machine.
You know how the Bushista American government uses anything for PR to supposedly authenticate its own evil agenda. If they had any concrete evidence against the hijackers — if they even possessed all their correct names — we would have heard about it by now. There would be an avalanche of TV shows about them, unlike that Jewish claptrap hate crime against Muslims that appeared on NBC one night.
After 20 years, with the whole world knowing that eight of the 19 names on the hijacker list are fraudulent, the FBI has made no attempt to substitute new names. And why is that? Because the identities of the hijackers were constructed with mostly stolen papers, for some of the patsies designed to take the heat. In any case, and whoever they were, there is no evidence they ever got on the planes.
But nothing. Instead we have one minor player convicted in Germany, then the conviction was overturned, partly because Americans refused to help with the prosecution.
We have the so-called 20th hijacker and assorted other preposterous character actors languishing in jails on trumped up charges. We have security camera film at the Pentagon, which surely reveal that no jetliner hit that building, locked away in Ashcroft's vault under the phony aegis of national security. We have all the rubble of the World Trade Center, which surely would have revealed the use of nuclear explosives creating shattered beams in odd places, instantly carted away with no forensic investigation. We have transcripts — but no recordings — of these phony cellphone calls, some from people who may not have even existed.
And we have the famous stand down, in which America's air defenses suddenly evaporated — the only time in our history this has happened.
We have Marvin Bush sitting suspiciously on the board of directors of the security company that had the contract for the Twin Towers.
We have Larry Silverstein, who conveniently leased and insured the towers shortly before the big hits, telling officials to "pull" a relatively intact tower, which then fell identically to the two structures that were struck by airplanes, creating the impression that that's the way all three came down.
We have billions of dollars of windfall profits made by savvy investors in the days before 9/11, and an FBI investigation that insists nothing was amiss with these spectacular deals. Of course, we don't get the details. Only "assurances" that the trades were not suspicious, despite patterns and results that were unprecedented in the entire history of financial trading.
We have reports from firemen of explosions at the base of the Twin Towers BEFORE they fell, and the seismographic evidence to back up these assertions.
We have leader after leader saying they didn't know such a thing could happen when the government had been studying the problem for ten years. It had held at least two major drills simulating such a possibility.
And we have a president sitting in a ghetto classroom in Florida, at possibly the most pivotal moment in American history, pretending to read a book that he was holding upside down.
Perhaps most tellingly of all, we have the tragic tale of John O’Neill, rabidly honest FBI investigator, prevented from following his leads about Osama bin Laden because of the danger he would have discovered the links from Afghanistan back to CIA headquarters. Just review the way he was prevented from conducting his probe of the Cole bombing, and prevented by digging into other leads by the same guys — namely insiders Louis Freeh and Thomas Picard — who prevented significant reports from other FBI agents from seeing the light of day.
So, how does all that make you regard the supposedly impartial government panel investigating these matters? When they talk about Presidential Daily Briefings months before the event, or chitchat with presidential flunkies who leak out these pseudo revelations about this and that tidbit of essentially trivial information. And especially when they talk about the dastardly hijackers (without being able to name them) as if there is no question of their guilt. Talk about your misleading urban legends! This one is the champ.
Well, no sense feeling surprise. We knew this commission was a set-up from the get-go. Recycled Watergate investigators, even. Part of the same bunch that has run the country and covered up everything for the past 30 years or more.
Surely you didn't expect a real investigation. Thomas Kean declared at the outset of his hearings that Osama bin Laden was guilty. End of discussion. As soon as he made that statement, there was no way the hearings could be legitimate.
Asserting that genuine Arab hijackers did not carry out the attacks of 9/11 requires analysis of two concomitant categories: the history of American (and Israeli) involvement (and subterfuge) with Arab terrorists, and methods of remote control of aircraft, or other means of piloting the aircraft.
The remote control aspect continues to be a bone of contention among legitimate pilots, with some asserting only real pilots could have made such extemporaneous maneuvers and others insisting only remote control could have accomplished such a feat. An interesting new perspective on this debate can be found here:
A third natural area of study in this regard would be the intimate histories of those whom officials claim to be the hijackers, including putting the microscope on their behavior in the days and weeks before the tragedy.
Many researchers claim the name al-Qaeda was made up in middle ‘90s by a variety of American functionaries (one of them being none other than Richard Clarke) as an all-purpose villain the U.S. could blame as a convenient reason for its military adventurism. And a group of Israeli provocateurs was recently discovered trying to create their own faux version of al-Qaeda.
How many more hints do you need? The absence of any relevant arrests or discovery of any clues to the hierarchy of this supposedly worldwide terror group should tell you a lot.
Al-Qaeda doesn’t exist except for when they want it to, to blame for any sort of strategic terror they have created themselves for some political reason, like influencing the elections in Spain. Hah, that one really backfired.
Why haven’t American intelligence operatives gone to these foreign countries to interview these named hijackers who turned out to be alive? Simple. Because they knew the list was fiction in the first place, and the Arab-types who have been named as terror gurus are mostly their own employees, or people who have been set up by them.
It is a celebrated fact that Mohammed Atta and some of his friends were seen in nightclubs in the hours before 9/11, certainly a fact that argues against them being able to carry out their supposed missions because they were motivated by Islamic religious zeal. So their appearance in strip clubs blows the whole story that they were devout Muslims giving their lives to Allah. Devout Muslims don't drink, never mind cavort with strippers.
If we knew who the hijackers were, we'd know their names, wouldn't we? Or is it now worth bombing other nations and murdering thousands of innocent people because we say we know who the hijackers were, even though we don't know their names? It is the great shame of the American people that they have approved of the murders of thousands of people because of that blatant lie.
Many of the men who were fingered as 9/11 hijackers received preferential treatment from American immigration officials when it came to entering and leaving the U.S. on numerous occasions. Many of these same names reportedly trained at various U.S. military installations.
What has resulted after 19 years of work by America’s crack intelligence agencies, besides the persecution of Muslims throughout the world?
Well, hundreds of innocent people have been unjustly imprisoned and tortured at Guantanamo. All of them innocent, hapless dupes rounded up in a Rumsfeld-ordered dragnet in Pakistan after U.S. planes had (inadvertently or otherwise) allowed the Taliban fighters to escape with the Pakistani army from Afghanistan.
Two pathetic flunkies have been arrested and held without due process. One of them, the notoriously pathetic shoe bomber who was obviously a deranged personality and not a member of any terror network, was ceremoniously sentenced to life in prison.
Other than that, no al-Qaeda kingpins have been even named, never mind apprehended. No clue about how the 9/11 attacks were engineered has ever emerged. This is simply not consistent with being able to name all 19 hijackers the day after the attacks. It is a case of pretending you have all of the information instantly, and then pretending you no information for the next two years. What a smell!
This means two things: that the list of 19 names was a total fabrication, and that the worldwide terror network called al-Qaeda is also a total fabrication, the wet dream brainchild of the CIA and the Mossad to be trotted out as an excuse for a whole string of terror attacks — Madrid, Bali, Riyadh, Istanbul, etc. — that were really carried out by the CIA and the Mossad themselves, cleverly involving designated patsies to give the operations a suitably foreign flavor.
Al-Qaeda does not exist except as a bogeyman invented by Western powers to justify their evil agenda. There were no hijackers flying those planes on 9/11. And honest FBI agents have been prevented from publicizing that fact.
If you disagree, prove it! The world knows you can’t, though the high-tech mass murder by the United States and Israel spreads around the world because of this falsified version of events.
History will show — and the public will soon realize — that those who are telling these lies not only allowed 9/11 to happen, but planned it for their own personal advantage.
The only question that remains is will the American public awaken to this murderous, treasonous scam before the perpetrators achieve their objective and bury the whole planet in the flames of their insane perfidy.
Just remember. If they’re talking about the hijackers, they’re part of the cover up, whether they know it or not.
Much more productive would be analyzing the tiny hole in the Pentagon, how the ejected material in the WTC photos prove there were unexplained explosions, or how those emotional cellphone calls could not possibly have been made as government flunkies have presented them.
But you won’t hear the official 9/11 commissioners talking about any of that, because they are definitely part of the cover up. You can obviously tell, because they keep talking about the hijackers.
Other than a general alert to citizens of the world about the basic lies that continue to underlie all political debate in the United States at this time, there is another, more pressing reason to discuss and contemplate all these matters at this time.

Smallville Season 5: Best & Worst Episodes, Ranked | ScreenRant
Smallville, the ten-year-long story about Clark Kent (Tom Welling) before he became Superman, told the Boy Scout’s origin story from high school all the way to adulthood. But as the high school phase of the series came to an end, an even bigger one began in Smallville’s fifth season. This was also the last season to air on The WB before the channel merged with UPN which together became The CW, the home of all the Arrowverse shows and more.
RELATED: Smallville Season 1: Best & Worst Episodes, Ranked
The fifth year of the Clark Kent drama became the first true season where the deeper Superman mythology came into play. From a couple of Justice League characters coming to life as well as one of Kal-El’s most iconic villains, season five had a lot in store for their viewers. These are the best and worst episodes of Smallville season five.
10 WORST: Fanatic (Episode 10)
The fifth season gave Jonathan Kent (John Schneider) one of his biggest storylines of all time as he was running for senator. But what is a hot race without some Luthor competition as Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) was running against him.
However, the tenth episode gets a bit nutty when it’s revealed that a woman named Samantha Drake (Annie Burgstede) shows her deep devotion to Lex. Samantha begins harassing Jonathan so he will drop out of the race. The fanatic status comes full circle when Lex later finds her, with a shaved head, hoping he will recognize her devotion for him.
9 BEST: Solitude (Episode 8)
One of the best big bads in the whole show was the iconic Superman foe Brainiac (James Marsters) who became one of the main threats in season five. Posing first as a human teacher named Milton Fine when Clark began attending college; Brainiac was playing the long game. But in the eighth episode, Brainiac finally reveals who he really is to Clark.
As he gets Martha (Annette O’Toole) seriously sick, Brainiac tries to trick Clark into destroying the Fortress of Solitude, insisting that Jor-El is the one killing her. But the plan was to use Clark to get General Zod out of the Phantom Zone instead.

8 WORST: Fade (Episode 20)
One of the final episodes of the fifth season slows things in a weird way except for Lex as Brainiac is preparing him for the big finale twist. In “Fade”, it mostly deals with Clark having to take on Graham Garrett (Alex Scarlis), a dangerous metahuman who can turn invisible and is a hitman.
Being one of three final episodes of the season, it wasn’t just a filler episode; it was a weak episode in general.
7 BEST: Hidden (Episode 3)
After being without his powers for almost two episodes, the third episode becomes one of the most unforgettable hours in the whole series. Gabriel Duncan (Johnny Lewis), who is planning on taking out every meteor-infected person in Smallville through a dangerous missile plan, ends up killing Clark by shooting him. Clark has been shot before, but without his powers, he ends up dying in the hospital.
However, at this point in the season, Jor-El takes Lionel (John Glover) out of his catatonic state and uses his body as a host by taking Clark to the Fortress of Solitude. Clark gets resurrected with all of his powers back as Jor-El, through Lionel, tells his son that there is no way his destiny can’t be sacrificed. The episode only gets bigger as Clark goes after Gabriel’s missile by super-jumping onto it and stops it in space.
RELATED: Smallville Season 3: Best & Worst Episodes, Ranked
6 WORST: Tomb (Episode 14)
Chloe (Allison Mack) gets an incredibly weird episode in the middle of the season. The threat in “Tomb” is a teenager’s spirt that possesses Chloe so she can go after her killer. But because Chloe was possessed, it gave viewers some very dark scenes with her.
The only memorable takeaway is the emotional ending when Chloe goes to see her mother who we find out has mental problems.
5 BEST: Arrival (Episode 1)
The season premiere is where Clark’s next chapter in his journey to becoming Superman took a massive step. Following the season four finale, Clark activates the Crystal of Knowledge that becomes the iconic Fortress of Solitude that is important in the Superman mythology.
But that is just tip of the iceberg of all the insanity that is going on. Smallville is being invaded by two Kryptonians who are searching for Clark who finds out what is going on. But as he saves the day, Clark fails Jor-El who ends up taking his powers away which is what gets Clark killed two episodes later.
RELATED: Smallville: Every Single Season, Ranked
4 WORST: Hypnotic (Episode 16)
The sixteenth episode is perhaps one of the few all-time cheesy episodes in the whole series. Clark ends up being hypnotized by a magical charm that belongs to a woman named Simone (Nichole Hiltz.) She gets Clark to fall in love with her while also making him go after Lex to kill him.
“Hypnotic” feels silly and unnecessary as it was done to basically break him and Lana up.
3 BEST: Reckoning (Episode 12)
The 100th episode of the series is both pivotal and heartbreaking all at the same time. While Clark decides to tell Lana his secret, he doesn’t stop there as he also proposes to her! But this episode is the one where Jor-El’s warning comes to fruition. Because Jor-El resurrected Clark in “Hidden”, the life of someone he loves would be taken in exchange. As Jonathan wins the senatorial race, things go all wrong when Lana dies in a horrific car accident after Lex chases her, as he finds out that she knows Clark’s big secret.
Heartbroken, Clark asks Jor-El for help and is given a crystal that allows him to reset the whole day, despite being warned by his father that someone will still die regardless. After using the crystal, Clark decides to not tell Lana his secret nor does he propose to her. But Clark’s darkest hour hits him as Jonathan, after fighting Lionel, pushes his heart to his final limits and dies in front of his family. All of this is why the 100th episode of Smallville became such an unforgettable milestone.
2 WORST: Thirst (Episode 5)
A guest appearance by the late iconic Carrie Fisher couldn’t save the fifth episode from being a disaster. “Thirst” was a Buffy the Vampire Slayer-esque episode, with the main villain being named Buffy Sanders as an homage to the Joss Whedon drama.
The episode was even written by Steven S. DeKnight who wrote for Buffy and Angel. But it still doesn’t change the fact that “Thirst” didn’t work, especially by turning Lana into a vampire temporarily.
1 BEST: Vessel (Episode 22)
The season five finale became a game-changer for the series as we go even deeper into Superman lore. After having been prepared by Brainiac, Lex becomes the vessel for General Zod as Clark accidentally releases the iconic foe from the Phantom Zone. Despite trying to save Lex, Clark’s plan backfire big time as everything goes absolutely wrong after that.
Before Clark realizes it, Zod banishes him to the Phantom Zone as the cliffhanger features Clark prisoned before he drifts further into space. Having started big, the finale wrapped the season up even bigger as it set things up for the next season.

#The100 402 Recap "Heavy Lies the Crown"
Just in case we were inclined to go easy on skaikru because we most often see the world from their point of view, this episode opens with a chilling and gut-wrenching scene to remind us of the horrors ALIE inflicted on everyone else. Meet Ilian, who murdered his entire family under instructions from ALIE. And in case there was any question how much the blame for ALIE's actions can be attributed to the 13th clan, Raven will later specifically point out that Jaha was the one who taught ALIE how to overcome free will in her subjects; if she knows that, it's fair to assume that the City of Light connection gave its prisoners a decent amount of shared knowledge.
On a much happier note (not to mention hotter!), Kane and Abby are finally getting it on. 'Bout damn time. As she goes to get dressed, she hesitates about putting on her necklace that bears her late husband's wedding band. Kane sees this hesitation and once again proves how amazing he is; he takes the necklace and puts it on her, so she knows he's not threatened or jealous, that he understands and accepts every part of her. Later, she leaves it off for real, and he accepts that too...passionately.
On the ground in Polis, an insurrection is brewing. The ambassador for Trishanakru is ready to challenge Roan for leadership, because this "hands off skaikru" order is an outrage to the vengeance-driven Grounders (remember, Lexa started talking about "Blood must not have blood" very shortly before her untimely death, so that social change never got off the ground). Octavia is lurking nearby, looking like an assassin in a video game.
Also perturbed about Roan's attitude toward skaikru? Echo. She begs him to change his mind or at least confide to her what his decision was based on. This is a bit of Queen Nia's legacy of exiling her son, of course: He doesn't trust his people any more than they trust him. He actually finds skaikru relatively easy to work with, because unlike every other clan in the coalition, they don't have a complicated past and a network of secret alliances. Echo was raised by Nia, so she can't see Roan's point of view at all; to her, Nia was a great leader, but to Roan, she was an abusive, then absent, mother.
Kane brings Roan Octavia's discovery about the impending challenge. He offers to try diplomacy, and oh Kane, I love you, but no. That is never going to work. Roan and Echo train, testing Roan's physical readiness for a fight to the death, and it's clear he would have no chance. His wounds are still healing, and there's nothing more Abby can do for him medically. Echo offers to fight in his stead, and he refuses, aware that he is barely holding onto power as it is; any sign of weakness would end him anyway.
Echo tries to talk Roan into issuing a proclamation that challenges for leadership are now outlawed, but Roan is a man of honor. He says, "I told you, I won't be that kind of king." I'm seeing an ominous similarity to Kane's honorable insistence on holding a fair election...and Clarke's determination to set an example of peace by declining to execute Emerson...it almost seems like honorable acts are doomed to bring dire consequences in the world of this show. I hope Roan breaks this pattern.
After Kane's diplomatic approach fails, Octavia takes a more direct approach. She walks right up to the ambassador and stabs him straight through the ear into his brain! She wipes away the blood and leaves quickly, and with their level of technology and anatomical understanding, it's safe to say no one will ever prove he didn't die of natural causes.
So Roan is safe...for now. Ilian tells Octavia he knows it was her. From the disturbed look on his face, Kane is also realizing Octavia did this. Worse, Echo clearly suspects.
Meanwhile, back in Arkadia, our core crew is brainstorming solutions to the big problem. Raven wants to put the word out, crowd-source the answers, but Clarke and Bellamy are in secretive leader mode again. They really haven't learned as much as one might hope from all that went down with Pike!
Raven's in need of extra hands, not to mention experienced engineers, but she isn't interested in one man's help: Thelonius Jaha. He explains that he was an engineer before he was Chancellor, and he's ready to make himself useful again. She snarls at him and tells him to do the grunt work and stay away from her. Seems fair.
Jaha is smart enough to know they're hiding the true purpose of the work he sees being done, and he talks to Clarke about the burden of leadership that she now understands. He's not wrong, and she hates that.
Jasper, cheerfully welcoming their impending doom, is also not wrong when he tells Clarke their people deserve to know what's coming. He's wrong about enough else, though, so it's still a day that ends in -y.
Monty realizes that the Ark itself presents their best shot at surviving nuclear radiation, but they would never survive in a closed environment long enough for the world outside to become safe again. They need a water source, and there is one available...the hydrogenerator that came down with Farm Station. Problem: Farm Station crashed in Azgeda territory, and Bryan has major PTSD about going back.
Miller and Bryan have a private moment in which Miller learns the unsettling truth that Bryan never stopped supporting or agreeing with Pike. Miller has clearly thought that Bryan realized Pike was wrong and stood up to him at long last, but Bryan considers that he betrayed Pike, for Miller.
They set off for Farm Station, only to discover it's in use. Bryan snarls, "They've moved in," and he's clearly feeling the itch in his trigger finger. Before they have time to settle on an approach, they are surrounded by Azgeda warriors. King Roan's emblem doesn't seem to do much good at first, but the chief of this little outpost grudgingly agrees to honor his king's orders. He tells our gang they can have what they came for, but nothing more. This sounds fine and good until they see what's behind door number 3: slave laborers of all ages, some of whom came down from the Ark.
While they work to detach the hydrogenerator, they debate how to handle this turn of events. Bryan is gung ho to free the slaves, using the generator as a bomb to gain the advantage they need. Harper concurs, because she has PTSD about Mount Weather. Monty points out that they have a mission, and it's more important than anything--that saving hundreds of their people six months from now outweighs freeing 25 people today who will then also die in six months. Miller agrees with Monty, knowing he's risking his relationship in the process. Bellamy is the tie-breaker...and of course, Bellamy is carrying all sorts of guilt right now.
Unfortunately, Bellamy has not learned the lesson Clarke probably hoped he had; he's still rash, emotionally driven, easily manipulated by others' intensity in the heat of the moment, and unable to focus on the long-term consequences. So of course he agrees to blow up their only current survival plan in order to free the slaves.
After the bomb goes off, their last opponent is the chief who let them in, and Bryan informs Monty this should be his kill, because this is the guy who killed Monty's father. Monty declines to take this life, but he does free the slaves, and they're eager to kill their tormentor.
The Bryan and Miller relationship is really on the rocks when Miller admits he still thinks freeing the slaves was the wrong choice. Bryan won't have long to hold this grudge, though, since the world is about to end, and he just damaged their chances of surviving it.
Finally, with their plan A well and truly screwed by Bellamy, Clarke gives in and tells everyone what's up...but she does it in a very bad way, massively overpromising in the name of fostering hope. This is so going to backfire.
Even worse, Roan promised Echo she could go check on skaikru's progress soon...when she sees they're primarily focusing on saving their people and barely giving a thought to saving the other clans...plus they just killed a bunch of Azgeda warriors at Farm Station...they'll be lucky to live long enough to die of radiation poisoning.
Would you have voted with Bryan and Harper or with Monty and Miller? Tell us why in the comments!

The fatal flaw in the 9/11 cover-up (Long but worth the read) September 8, 2020 9/11 was one of the most pivotal events in world history.
After 19 years, with the whole world knowing that eight of the 19 names on the hijacker list are fraudulent, the FBI has made no attempt to substitute new names.

The fatal flaw in the 9/11 cover-up
(Long but worth the read) September 10, 2019
I mean, 18 years have passed.
After 19 years, with the whole world knowing that eight of the 19 names on the hijacker list are fraudulent, the FBI has made no attempt to substitute new names.
What has resulted after 18 years of work by America’s crack intelligence agencies, besides the persecution of Muslims throughout the world?
