Emmerdale 18.12.24 Part 3

John explains to Aaron he's carried Aiden around with him for too long and it's time he started looking forward, if he's up for it. Aaron nods in agreement but John wants more he's tells Aaron that's his cue to announce his undying love for him.

Aaron says he's in it for the long haul but John wants more, he's bared his heart & soul to him these last few days, Aaron says well he thinks he thinks he might love him and John parrots Aaron saying he thinks he might love him too as they grow closer.

After the declaration of love between them they seal their love with a kiss.

The final shots show Aaron and John kissing and holding each other in picturesque scenery.

Emmerdale 18.12.24 Part 2

John tells Aaron he & Aiden were different, John loved the great outdoors while Aiden just wanted to do his time & come home, for him it's about pushing boundaries & taking risks & living life on the edge, Aaron quips how come he became boring then!?

John says there are just about packed and ready to go. Aaron says it's a shame they have to go now, John says they don't have to.

Aaron & John have settled in the woods again, Aaron admits to feeling peaceful & relaxed than he has in a long time, John gets Aiden's dog tags out, Aaron asks if he always carries it around with him, John says he has ever since he left the army.

Aaron asks how long has it been since John left the army as he clings on to Aiden's dog tags & memory, John replies 'too many', Aaron asks if he still misses Aiden, John says there's was a time he didn't think he could function without him.

John says he'd never of thought he'd be with a dodgy ex car jacker! Aaron says Aiden must have meant a lot to him. John says he does but you can't live in the past can you? Then kisses and tosses Aiden's dog tags into the woods, startling Aaron & deciding it's time to say goodbye to Aiden.

Emmerdale 18.12.24 Part 1

Aaron has packed up the van and has a play with a swiss army knife tool as he calls John Bear Grylls. John quips Aaron finally made himself useful.

John mentions after 12 months in camp Bastion he knows a thing or two about camping & planting tent pegs, while Aaron shares his life experience is more stealing cars & robbing old Grannies. It dawns on John how different he and Aaron are.

John mentions his mum wouldn't have approved of Aaron, she would have viewed him from the wrong side of the tracks, but Aaron asks where Aiden falls, John says Aiden was good company smart and funny. Aaron suggests John must like a bit of rough, a bad boy.

Emmerdale 17.12.24 part 3

John shares Aiden was the first person he had real feelings for, anything meaningful with they kept their relationship quiet although it's not forbidden in the army to be gay they felt they couldn't be open about it. So when Aiden died & when he couldn't save him he kept it all in and couldn't express his grief.

John says he tried to bury everything he felt & it nearly destroyed him & says the grief hasn't gone. Aaron knows how carrying something like that round makes you sick to your stomach but you can't carry it on your own & comforts John as he agrees he's right.

Emmerdale 17.12.24 Part 2

As they walk through the woods or stumble in Aaron's case. John is reluctant to talk about Aiden but Aaron says to stop & talk, Aaron works out this hike is about the dog tags & Aiden is the friend he talked about yesterday & Aiden was also more than a friend.

John's startled Aaron had spoken to Victoria about the dog tags previously, so heard of Aiden Moore before, Aaron wonders why he hadn't mentioned him to him. John says he didn't know how Aaron would be. Aaron thought the trip was to distract him form Belle's court case but John needed the distraction too. Aaron shares he knows what it's like to lose someone & feel responsible.

Aaron wants John to open up to him, John says it won't change the guilt he's carrying. Aaron says he knows how it is to feel responsible but it doesn't mean that he is though. John's voice breaks with emotion & he steams on ahead he'd rather hike than talk.

Emmerdale 17.12.24 Part 1

John awakes, he sees Aaron fumbling with the frying pan & asks what he's cooking. Aaron doesn't know where John put everything so nothing! Aaron says he's pretending so John would feel sorry for him & come & do it for him & he agrees to do just that.

As John prepares to do them some food for breakfast he tasks Aaron with boiling up some water, Aaron says he can do that. As John leaves the tent he has left behind the dog tags with Aiden Moore's name on them and Aaron finds them.

John takes the dog tags from Aaron. Aaron asks who Aiden Moore is? John doesn't answer the question and instead asks Aaron how he feels about a hike through the woods, to make some of those memories he talked about yesterday.

Emmerdale 16.12.24 Part 2

Aaron & John have set up camp & John has made him some food. Aaron's impressed that he's enjoying the food. John says a guy in the platoon taught him everything, he says it would of been his birthday tomorrow. Aaron cuts him off as John is speaking & apologises for being narky.

Aaron explains he has bad memories with Gordon associated with camping. Aaron becomes emotional and tearful as he says Gordon took him camping as he is recalling his abuse he suffered at his hands although didn't share the extent with John as least not yet.

Aaron brings up his memories of Gordon taking him camping before the bad stuff happened between them, it was the last time he ever went camping. John says though doesn't know what happened he can tell from what he does know there was something wrong with that man!

John understands how some things can be triggering. He offers to end the trip but Aaron says no, this needed to happen. John says if he wants to share more he's here when he's ready. Aaron wants to make new memories as he tries to embrace the camping trip.

As Aaron composes himself, he wants the beers they brought with them. But John left them in the van, as Aaron goes to get them. John pulls his dog tags with Aiden Moore's name on them appearing to remember him, perhaps preparing to open up to Aaron himself.

Emmerdale 16.12.24 Part 1

Aaron returns home to find John packing, Aaron jokes asking John if he's doing a runner! John springs a surprise trip away on him Aaron says he has work but John says he's cleared it with Vinny. Aaron is really not keen as John tells him he's acting middle-aged.

John can tell Aaron's not thrilled by the trip as he reluctantly heads to pack, Aaron whines he doesn't know where they are going as he spots the camping equipment John has ready, and realises that is what John has planned he's even less enthusiastic.

John tries to tell Aaron this camping trip is important to him, he feels couped up in four walls like a prison to him & asks him to give it a chance and be in nature, Aaron is not really embracing the idea as John tries to convince him to give it a chance.

John tells Aaron being in nature is healing, Aaron says with bugs biting you? John says open air is his home. Aaron asks if it's why he joined the army, he replies there were other reasons, but Aaron still worries about freezing to death! John promises to keep him warm!

Emmerdale 05.12.24 Part 3

Aaron and Mackenzie are driving back home and Mackenzie chews Aaron out for throwing him under bus up there with Jade and her band of thugs. Mackenzie suggests because Aaron wanted a cut of the money he shares some blame but Aaron's having none of that!

Aaron tells Mackenzie he's the idiot who stole £10.000 from a dangerous fight ring. As they come across Ross taking care of April who is struggling with what just happened & then even more so after she learns her mum had taken her own life all those years ago from Ross blurting things out.

April is now home, she's struggling with the events of the day but doesn't tell her dad what happened after agreeing with Ross she wouldn't earlier, fearing further reprisals from Jade if police are called. Ross meanwhile turns up on Mackenzie's door step!

Ross completely loses it at Mackenzie and dishes out a vicious beating for his theft of the money and all the trouble he's caused him through the lies and deceit. Ross is raging with a thirst for vengeance as Charity arrives bewildered and horrified.

Charity tries to shield her husband from the violence Ross is dishing out, despite not knowing the cause, she vows he's not going anywhere near Moses after this which enrages him further just as Moses walks upon him and begs him to stop his vicious assault on his step dad.
