anon can i say you're a genius and a scholar bc i never put this together and it all makes absolutely perfect sense. i was actually very fond of nina still not really being able to stand up to zoya and so matthias does it for her and zoya is so fucking offended and alina has never had any issue with this so it's just alina yelling in the background YOU CAN'T LET ME EVER FUCKING HAVE ANYTHING and matthias' is standing up for his girlfriend's book girlfriend like "the sun is right, zoya. you're not a very good employee"
