Our home in khan yonis was bombed and destroyed, forcing us to flee nine times, living in a weak tent amidst the sounds of war. In the intense summer heat, we suffer from insects that make our lives even more difficult, and my children are struggling with malnutrition and illnesses.😔

My ten-year-old son, Ahmad, suffers from severe allergies in his eyes, and I cannot provide him with the necessary treatment. Urgent!! Help Alaa seek treatment for Hepatitis B

I cannot believe that even after 2 weeks we have not managed to raise 10k for Alaa al-Amsee ( @alaakh99 ) !!

She is a Palestinian mother, who has been suffering terribly from hepatitis for more than a month. She was already malnourished and sick from having to eat breads made out of animal feed and now, she is vomiting continuously.

Alaa is afraid for her 2 children, who depend on her. Maria is only 6 years old and Hamza is 4. Alaa writes that her son does not know the taste of a restful sleep as he is both terrorized by the sound of explosions and tired from the pain of skin infections.

Currently at €7,205 / €100,000. She needs 10k by Sunday i.e. within 2 days! 

Funds coming in would mean she can  go consult a doctor for both herself and her son.

man i don't know how to say this but gazans here are risking their lives to make posts asking for help. they are asking for you to contribute a small amount of money to buy food or medicines or get shelter.

whether we like it or not, we are complicit in this genocide. either because of our silence, or because our tax money if being used to bomb them. i thought that people would be more eager to help gazans, trying to 'reverse' the damage somehow.

contrary to what i thought, people are moving on. they're moving on from the al-shifa hospital strike, they're moving on from refugee camp massacres and from school bombings, they're moving on from dead children and orphaned children.

Folks, I'd like to bring your attention to the fundraisers of the Resh family! Wafaa ( @wafaaresh ) and her extended family have already been displaced over ten times, and are desperately in need of a helping hand.

The money they are trying to raise will go toward such basic necessities as food and water for their young children, as well as medical care. Wafaa's mother suffers from chronic hypertension, and her brother Mohiy recently had an operation to remove his gallbladder, to treat the hepatitis and severe pancreatitis that developed from unclean drinking water.

My friends tent got flooded!

what i had feared most has happened. the tent Alaa @alaajshaat & Bilal were staying in got completely flooded. they sent me this video of the area they are staying in that shows the heavy rainfall they experienced.

they urgently need materials to reinforce their tent! without it Alaa, Bilal and their family are essentially on the street, without any cover, in the heavy rain and cold. Alaa currently learned she is pregnant and she is very worried about her baby!

Alaa’s family’s home was destroyed by occupation bombing. After suffering homelessness, hunger, and danger from IOF troops and bombs, Alaa and her son were able to evacuate Gaza to Egypt.

However, Alaa’s ailing mother is still in Gaza. She is homeless after the destruction of her house, malnourished due to the occupation’s famine, sickly due to the destruction of waste treatment infrastructure, and exhausted from a life in displacement. You can find photos and more information about Alaa and her mother’s living conditions on Alaa’s blog @alaaalkhateeb and on her campaign page.

Alaa’s mother has had to flee various shelters on several occasions due to IOF bombing. Each time, she is forced to carry her few intact possessions and what little food and water she can find. When she is not fleeing for her life, she is forced to search for food and water, and if she is fortunate enough to find any at all, she has to haul it back to her shelter on her own.

These living conditions would be exhausting for anyone, but are especially so for an elderly woman who is sick and starving. The burdens she is forced to bear in order to survive are weighing very heavily on her, and her condition is deteriorating rapidly.

Alaa is trying to evacuate her mother from Gaza before it is too late. She only needs to pay the evacuation processing fees for one person, which means her fundraiser goal is relatively small. I am hopeful that we can share Alaa’s campaign and achieve the goal quickly, so that Alaa can evacuate her mother as soon as possible. this should make you angry. children in gaza have been out of school for a whole year and will be out of school as long as the israeli invasion continues. palestinian children live in flimsy tents which do not offer them any protection from the heat/cold. they travel long distances to search for water. they are threatened by water-borne diseases and skin infections that are running rampant in gaza.

no aid has been allowed in gaza since may. there is a shortage of everything from food to medicine to blankets to tents. this means that prices for everything have gone up.

it has become very expensive to survive in gaza. heavy rains followed by the winter are fast approaching. a tent does not offer much protection against the elements.

help alaa [ @alaakh998 ] buy supplies for the winter and medicine for her son who is suffering from a skin infection. she has two children aged six and four. she needs to ensure their safety and welfare and it cannot be done without your help.
