Do you feel bad about your acne? Get a cat.
They will love your acne so much that they'll try to eat it.
Say goodbye to self confidence issues, and hello to a bleeding, stinging chin!

Appraisal's Appetitie [2023]
I haven't posted her debut picture on here, but have the newest drawing of mine instead. She's shaped like a dumpling, her face is cute and a bit spotty but everyone loves her! I hope you all love her too <3

Okay, obviously I know I don’t have the greatest skin right now. DON’T judge me, considering I’m a women with hormones that involve periods that messes with my body and gives me pain that I sometimes can’t bare #periods
HOWEVER! We are not talking about my skin currently but my hair.
So, let’s give a little background: I’ve done the big chop in 2016 of September 2. Day before my birthday lol. So you could imagine the tears but it was something that had to be done. For the reason for it was because my hair was premed back than and it was damaged and I was moving toward going natural since I’d be turning 18 and I didn’t want to waste the money to get prem anymore. It wasn’t worth it.
Since that big chop, my hair had flourished and was going strong. But I started the dye! Bleaching will FUCK UP you’re life! If you don’t do it right lol. The first few tries is where I should have stopped but ofc I didn’t. Fast forwarding, I’m back on the hair journey after cutting of some length once again. But what’s important to me is the health not the length. But in the past I would have cried but I know when I need to it. And that was last night. So we are on the journey AGAIN to gain healthy hair once more and here is what I’ll be implementing…
1. Hot Oil & Rice Water Treatments
2. Deep Conditioning Bi-Weekly
3. Clarifying Washing Monthly
4. Co-washing Weekly
5. Scalp Massages
6. Finger Detangling Mainly
7. Oil Hydration
8. Focusing & Listening to my hair
9. Leaving my hair be and let it’s so it’s thing
10. Moisture! Hydration! Oil!
11. Protective Styles
Hair Products?
1. Eden Bodywork’s (Mainly)
2. Eco Style Gel
3. Shea Moisture (Strength and Restore Collection)
4. Next To You (NOU: it’s a new line I’ve been trying an it isn’t bad.)
4. Hair Growth Oil (MY FAVORITE)
5. Aussie Moist 3 minutes Deep Condition (So much slip. HIGHLY RECOMMEND)
Most of my advice and journey is for 4b-4c hair types with low porosity. Don’t know what that is?
4b-4c types are usually hairs that have a very tight and coiling hair curl pattern.
Low Porosity are usually hair that takes longer to get wet but flourishes with moisture.
I use a lot of weightless products that doesn’t weigh my hair down but still is high in hydration & moisture. And lock it in with oil.

Started using this new product for my face, and instead of it helping to get rid of blemishes. It started to create blemishes. 😭
Still going to use it though, because they say it must get worse to get better 😅🤷‍♀️

No matter how good or consistent your skincare routine is, you can still get acne. Shit happens, man. Throw a cute (hydrocolloid) sticker on it (or more!) and let it do its magic. The process is gross and sometimes painful, but you’ll feel so much better when you take a good look at the results. xxx #skincare #acnepositivity #nomakeup #hooligans #starface https://www.instagram.com/p/ConYawuuutE/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Hey there, Tumblr fam! Today is a special day dedicated to self-love and embracing our beautiful, unique selves – it's National Acne Positivity Day! 💖✨
💫 Acne is something that many of us deal with, and it's essential to remember that it doesn't define our worth or beauty. Our skin tells a story, and every blemish is a part of it. Let's celebrate our journey to self-acceptance and self-confidence.
🌻 Here are some ways to spread acne positivity and celebrate this day:
1️⃣ Share Your Story: Post a selfie or a story about your acne journey. Let's break the stigma and inspire others to love themselves, flaws and all.
2️⃣ Compliment a Friend: Give a shoutout to your friends who radiate confidence despite their acne. A little encouragement can go a long way.
3️⃣ Self-Care: Treat yourself to some self-care today! A skincare routine can be a form of self-love, and it's a great way to celebrate your skin.
4️⃣ Learn and Educate: Take the time to learn about different skincare routines and products that can help manage acne. Share your knowledge to help others.
5️⃣ Positivity Art: Create or share art that promotes acne positivity. Art can be a powerful way to express our feelings and inspire change.

Vitiligo: Causes, Symptoms, and Treatment Options
Vitiligo is a skin condition characterized by the loss of skin color in patches. This occurs because melanocytes, the cells responsible for producing skin pigment, are destroyed or stop functioning. Vitiligo can affect any area of the body, but it is most commonly seen on the face, hands, arms, and feet. While vitiligo is not a life-threatening condition, it can have a significant impact on a person's appearance and self-esteem. In this blog post, we will explore the causes, symptoms, and treatment options for vitiligo.
Causes of Vitiligo
The exact cause of vitiligo is not known, but it is thought to be an autoimmune disorder in which the body's immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys melanocytes. Other factors that may contribute to the development of vitiligo include:
Genetics: Vitiligo often runs in families, suggesting that genetics may play a role in its development.
Environmental triggers: Some environmental factors, such as sunburn, exposure to certain chemicals, or emotional stress, may trigger vitiligo in susceptible individuals.
Autoimmune disorders: Vitiligo is more common in people who have other autoimmune disorders, such as thyroid disease, type 1 diabetes, or pernicious anemia.
Symptoms of Vitiligo
The primary symptom of vitiligo is the loss of skin color in patches. These patches may be small or large, and they can appear anywhere on the body. The patches may start out as small, pale spots and gradually become larger and more noticeable over time. The affected skin may also become more sensitive to the sun and may be more prone to sunburns.
In addition to the loss of skin color, people with vitiligo may also experience:
Premature graying of hair on the scalp, eyebrows, eyelashes, and beard
Loss of color in the mucous membranes, such as the inside of the mouth and nose
Loss of color in the retina of the eye, leading to vision problems in rare cases
Treatment Options for Vitiligo
While there is no cure for vitiligo, there are several treatment options that can help to manage the symptoms and improve the appearance of the affected skin. Treatment options include:
Topical corticosteroids: These medications are applied to the affected skin to help reduce inflammation and restore skin color.
Topical calcineurin inhibitors: These medications work by suppressing the immune system and may be used to treat vitiligo in sensitive areas, such as the face and groin.
Psoralen plus ultraviolet A (PUVA) therapy: This treatment involves taking a medication called psoralen and then exposing the skin to ultraviolet A (UVA) light. This helps to stimulate the production of melanocytes and restore skin color.
Narrowband ultraviolet B (NB-UVB) therapy: This treatment involves exposing the skin to a specific wavelength of UVB light, which can help to stimulate the production of melanocytes and improve skin color.
Excimer laser therapy: This treatment uses a specialized laser to target the affected areas of skin with high-intensity UVB light, which can help to stimulate melanocyte production and improve skin color.
In addition to these treatment options, there are several lifestyle changes that may help to manage the symptoms of vitiligo. These include:
Avoiding sunburns: People with vitiligo are more sensitive to the sun and may be more prone to sunburns. Wearing protective clothing and using sunscreen can help to prevent sunburns and further damage to the skin.
Camouflaging makeup: Specialized makeup products can be used to help cover the patches of depigmented skin
