Noted: The "gag bag" feature was a selection of reprinted comic strips -- started with old Bob Montanas and moved to more recent Dan Decarlos, so in this instance the 1981 issue is reprinting a comic strip that had been in the newspaper a few years earlier -- the "getting in right after a trend is over" rule is not in effect. Though, I guess they were still a go in 1986 -- or at least re-enacting a scene from 1979.

Okay, I can’t decide if the pain has eased or not, but I’m going to at least try and sleep now.
Although, I need a wee again so I gotta go the loo first or I’ll just be thinking about peeing the whole time I’m trying to sleep, and it’s highly likely that moving even slightly will cause the pain to just ✨twinge✨ in a way that makes me feel like it’s the end and I’m about to die on the toilet at 2:30am.
So, off to the toilet and then hopefully off to sleep. Wish me luck! But if it doesn’t work I’ll be back sooner than I thought to keep doom scrolling and wishing life was fair.

today was squats and grocery shopping.
finally more improvement with my shoulder, was able to squat a normal(ish) working weight with no lasting pain!
unfortunately my piriformis is still having issues so i have a lot of sciatic pain this evening. i’m going to focus more on really warming up, massaging using a tennis ball, doing banded clamshells, and nerve flossing to help fix the issue.
db benchpress felt great, still pushing 45s and hitting my rep range with no issues.
got pho with my workout buddies after the lift and hit trader joe’s to stock up on my favorite proteins 😍 and get some basics for the upcoming week :) good day overall!
