My opponent just called upon the Oracles and scattered most of my pieces across space and time. Does anyone know the best counter in this situation?

Zam: dude spoke’s fighting style is like so defensive and it’s really hard for me cause in 1v1s i’m very aggro
Zam: I need to learn the art of the defensive player
Mapicc: Yeah, he’s a— he’s a Manepear counter. You know Manepear’s one— like one of Manepear’s fully killed, like kitted out situations was cause Spoke killed him?
Zam: Yeahhh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I remember that fight, yeah.
wonder how differently that fight could’ve gone if spoke was fighting and they put someone else in the control room (especially considering the cough focus stuff cough)

thinking about how essentially every relationship john locke formed in the early seasons of lost has completely disintegrated by the time of his death.
of course there's his relationship with jack, which starts tense but manageable and culminates in jack pointing a gun at john's head and pulling the trigger. but even his smaller, less narratively prominent relationships either implode or drift apart. he bonds with walt in season one but then walt leaves the island, which is itself a severing of their bond since it was mainly based on being the only two people who wanted to stay. still, he goes and visits walt off the island so this is probably john's most successful relationship. I dont think i need to explain how he fucked up with boone, "the sacrifice that the island demanded." charlie viewed john as a mentor and claimed to trust him more than anyone on the island, but after the events of fire and water, that trust is destroyed and charlie despises him. at the same time we get john bonding with claire and having a pseudo-paternal dynamic with her, but their closeness basically drops off the face of the earth as he gets less and less involved with the other survivors.
his arc in the series is essentially a gradual distancing from everyone around him. it starts when he abandons hunting (providing for the others) in favor of trying to get the hatch open (it's extremely clear his primary motive isn't any survival applications but getting answers to the mystery). when they do open the hatch, he spends more and more time inside, underground, cut off from other people. he spends more and more time interacting with ben, a human mystery box that he's obsessed with cracking even if it gets him killed. he follows the proverbial white rabbit deeper down the hole and leaves his connection to humanity behind. the island and its mysteries become more important to john than anything or anyone else.
then in season three we get him claiming to go undercover with the others only to unceremoniously tell sawyer that he's actually going to join them. and it doesn't feel shocking, it feels inevitable. because john has spent the entire series becoming less and less connected with the people he arrived with. in that sense he actually makes a fascinating foil to juliet, who is introduced as one of the others and yet never really fits, she's increasingly sympathetic and kind in a way the rest of them aren't, her redemption arc feels so natural that she actually starts referring to her old people as "the others" like she's been one of the crash survivors from the beginning. her and john basically have inverse arcs, which is probably accidental but very neat.
in season five john tries to convince everyone to go back to the island, and fails spectacularly. and of course he does, because he was so consumed by obsession that he stopped maintaining his relationships, and in many cases actively alienated people (this is also basically what happened with helen) and now he can't wrap his head around why they're all so hostile to him. i am forever obsessed with the scene where he confronts kate and she brutally calls him out for wanting to return to the island because he doesn't love anyone. it actually struck me on rewatch how well the two of them got along in season one, and how badly their relationship has degraded by this point. john repeatedly casts aside interpersonal relationships in favor of his obsession with destiny, so when said destiny actually involves persuading the people he once shunned, he's at a loss. this is because john treats purpose as a supplement for connection, destiny as an alternative to love.
as an aside, this aspect of john's character kinda ties into my opinion that several lost characters can be read as allegorically neurdivergent under a certain lens. i know this was absolutely not intended, but as an adhd former gifted kid who struggles socially, there is something uncomfortably familiar about a character who allows their relationships to burn around them because of a single-minded obsession, especially as a result of being promised the fickle status of "special."
tl/dr: john locke is a doomed idiot and i love him

if kh4 wants to be good it’s gotta have like sora excitedly telling strelitzia all about his best friends and how great they are but then it cuts to them acting insane
like ‘my buddy riku is really cool and heroic!’ he’s always got a clear rational head’ ((cuts to riku flipping over cars and/or threatening ppl in quadratum screaming ‘WHERE IS SORA’))
‘oh oh oh and kairi is so kind and brave… her pure and strong heart never falters!’ ((cuts to kairi having a full-on mental breakdown blubbering and sobbing in aqua’s arms))

Look past the facade and see it for what it really is....
See them for what they really are.
(Or, what if Ink could see the creators and totally isn't maybe still a little resentful over being abandoned, haha, what made you think that?)

That Traveler ask reminded me; have we heard anything about the Pyramids since the death of the Witness? I was always hoping they'd begin acting on their own, but i don't remember hearing anything about them at all
Nothing so far! They were kinda tied to the Witness in general so it makes sense that they're dormant now, though it's possible that someone could take them over. I do believe we've seen something like that in some of the material for this episode? I think it may have been a showcase or something where Fikrul was shown with the Pyramids in the background. I can't remember exactly where it was.
Could be something that we'll see in the remaining story of Revenant, possibly also in stuff going forward? I think it would make sense that someone would try to grab them for themselves, as they do not appear to be active right now.

Riku glances over at Sora and Kairi as he continues to build the raft, an uncertainty building in his throat. They were a group of three. So why did he feel out of the loop from those conversations? He calls them out, telling them to come over to help him, effectively ending whatever discussion they were having. He reassures himself that it isn't important.
Riku feels his heart thrum against his chest as he watches Sora banter with that duck and dog companion easily, as if they were always friends. Riku feels like an outsider. Replaced. What about Kairi? What about him? Maleficent tells him that Sora has replaced him. Sora has abandoned Kairi. Abadoned him. Riku turns away in frustration, hoping to turn it into an apathetic fire.
Riku sees Sora and Kairi after a long year of hiding and covers his face, puts up his hood, and runs. He cannot bear to join them because how could he? The shame eats away at him. It overcomes his desire to squeeze himself in their space. To take in their warmth and bask in it.
Kairi easily befriends two boys named Sora and Riku, but she cannot help but feel like she had stepped in between something pre-established, a norm. She watches them play with swords and bring up a joke only they know. Even though they always try their best to make her feel involved—a trio, not a duo and a plus one—she can't entirely destroy the unease in her gut.
Kairi feels a sense of distance. Those two keep on running on ahead without her, telling her to wait, to stay put. She doesn't want to do that anymore. She misses Sora's brown hair—something that had only (finally) become clear in her mind just recently. She misses Riku's smug and reliable grin. Why do they keep moving forward while she has to stay behind?
Kairi has finally gained the means to be of help, to finally fight by their sides. But Sora and Riku like slipping through her fingers like water droplets from the sink. Sora does that same smile that's supposed to bring a sense of joy, but it only fills her with grief. Riku uses that worried tone that's supposed to be endearing, but it only makes her feel resigned. How much longer?
Sora thinks of himself as less than cool when it comes to his best friends, Riku and Kairi. He's always felt that way. Riku—strong, cool, apparently the Keyblade's Chosen One. Kairi—kind, determined, apparently a Princess of Heart. He's apparently proven himself, but he still feels smaller than them.
Sora finds a vague sensation of desparation that gives him déjà vu as Riku and Kairi keep disappearing on him. One lead shifts into the disappearance of the other. He's made to ask, kneel and beg for any clues. He feels that he's always chasing. They keep being just out of reach.
Sora is at the end of his wits. Despite the clear sky and sea, he's only a torrent of loss and failure. A missed hand, a last stand—it fills him with a sorrow so heavy that he feels a familiar weight on his heart. He brushes it off because he can't be destroyed by it again. Sora brushes his pants and stands up because things are really hopeless without them. Riku and Kairi had called him strong, but he thinks that they're much stronger. They're the key to ending this once and for all.

With all the doom and gloom news of the state of Bungie and the future of Destiny, I found myself sitting in orbit listening to the Deep Stone Lullaby and letting the music wash over me. I’m just… Tired.
These games and this universe and this community have been one of my only sources of joy and belonging for the past ten years and now…
I really don’t know where we’re going from here, Guardians. Or rather, I think I might know, but I really hope I’m wrong.

So,can I say my own ship with sovieshu? Because I shipped sovieshu with Dion from how to protect the heroines older brother? I you are curious who Dion's personality is like and how he looks, here he is(fun fact,Dion is totally dangerous and a red flag): https://how-to-protect-the-heroines-older-brother.fandom.com/wiki/Deon_Agrece
I know Roxana's older Bro. 😌
Tumblr media
Well, Dion really not my type but fan of him despite his every crimes. He really younger version of Lant Agriche (MY FAV ZADDY). 😍
I don't have any problem about shipping character x character, even crossovers. It's your free-will to do.
For example, if I want to have intense and great dynamic Ship. Then this ship I imagine:
Sovieshu x Ruvellis Kamaludin Shana Castina (Abandoned Empress)
Sovieshu x Mag (that ML from Villainess Tames the Beast)
Sovieshu x Dylan Blade ( The Taming of the Tyrant.)
Sovieshu x Claude de Alger Obelia (Who made me a princess)
Sovieshu x Abel (that Zaddy Step-father from Author of my own Destiny)
Sovieshu x Lant Agriche (AAARGGUH YES THAT I LOVE IT )
Etc. (I can't think cuz there are too many 😔)
But my main fav is still Cold Like Tyrant Sovieshu who has no feelings for every character in whole mutiverse and like idgaf. He doesn't like people who has no common senses like navier and Heinrey and other characters. (Yes I made up.)
