i was like "maybe i should test out entering my late 20s baking era like everyone else i know is doing" and proceeded to make coconut macaroons that came out more disgusting than i ever could've imagined it was possible for a thing with those ingredients to be

#look we can't all be bakers and now i accept that #i think the issue was i bought the wrong kind of coconut flakes so they were these huge flakes instead of the little shreds #and that turned the whole thing into a congealed mess plus i made them too big #then i burned them #also don't think i mixed them well enough #and i went off-script and tried adding almond extract in addition to vanilla which may have been a mistake flavor-wise #so basically i fucked up every step of the process djkfgj #i might try dipping them in dark chocolate later to see if that can save them #but now it's time to watch the new bakeoff episode while lying on my couch feeling sick from eating my own baking efforts

Im allergic to cinnamon (fucked up) so today i made cinnamon rolls but swapped the cinnamon in the filling for cocoa powder. I may be a genius. Call back in a few hours.

#ok fine #two bowls #1 bowl pour one cup of all purpose flour microwave for a minute and a half but do it in 30s intervals and stirr between those intervals #2nd bowl pour half a cup of butter half a cup of brown sugar and 1/8th of granulated sugar . stirr with whisk #in my case i did it with a fork LMAO it also works but it's harder . stirr until you get a nice consistency and everything looks mixed in #add half teaspoon of salt and 3/4 of vanilla extract (that depends on how much you like vanilla. i think 3/4 is the perfect starting point)#mix together again #add your butter batter to the flour and mix for a bit then add 2 teaspoons of milk to help it mix better #if it doesnt mix well enough keep adding teaspoons of milk #mix until u get the dough . then add chocolate chips and mix again #voila #asknootfound

made a cake from my family's old church cookbook tonight and it was sooo good. 1 box cake mix, half a stick of melted butter, 4 eggs, a box of instant pudding, 1 1/4 c water, bake for 50 minutes at 350 in bundt pan, cover with chocolate ganache when cool. and it takes like 4 minutes to make it.

#same effort as regular boxed mix but 10x better #i like baking from scratch usually but it's fun to just have something like this that's just. that easy. and good.#i used butterscotch pudding and also added chocolate chips and butterscotch chips to the batter #but my mom always used to make it with banana pudding #which is also so good #anyways. cannot recommend enough if you need a super duper easy and fast cake that people will be obsessed with

I used boxed spice cake mixed with 1 container of cool whip. Then I rolled them in cinnamon powdered sugar.

#I love my hex the rich mug #I made some spiced chai and added some cbd infused honey and a little cream #the cookies dipped in my tea is AMAZING #I think these would be good with crushed up heath bar #I made these with lemon cake before and they were so good #I also saw someone commented that they used a vanilla cake mix and chocolate chips yummm #I only made a few cookies and put the rest of the dough in the freezer (in the cool whip container so it works out perfectly 🤣)
