Twenty years of Matthew Goode in chiaroscuro

Chiaroscuro (light & dark, clair-obscur) - a technique in art that accentuates the contrast between light and shadow.

I love this effect in photography, cinematography and paintings and I think it suits Matthew's timeless features and broody gaze perfectly.

This makes my heart sing frankly 🖤🤍🖤

I am hoping for much dark and light atmosphere in Department Q, it's a Nordic Noir after all! Hopefully the basement office and Edinburgh's Northern light will help lol.

Leaving aside the whole "Kill him" debacle 😬. No friggin' way Matthew could do that to his boy Jack. Matthew is living proof that blood rage can be controlled so Baldwin can just shut up 😂

When Matthew and Diana are reunited with Jack, he mentions that it was really hard for him to stay away.

How long was he hanging around, knowing exactly where his parents were but unable to approach either one because he knew they hadn't time walked yet and wouldn't know him?

Diana recalls feeling a vampire watch her throughout her life, and we later learn it was Gallowglass, but what if Jack watched her sometimes too? What if he stood outside of her classes and listened to her give lectures about Elizabethian England?

What if Jack toured the places Matthew helped build and collected his published research?

What if he found a subtle way to be a part of their lives until they found him again?

A great opportunity to (re)discover the wonderful world of All Souls as well as Matthew Goode's breath-taking portrayal of tortured vampire Matthew de Clermont.
