I rarely talk about MW, Anon, because I don't care. I actually want MW to be a success, because that means success for IWTV.

I really don't even know why you sent this, but I do appreciate that you did, because you are now blocked.

FYI — Your show is trashed, because it is trash. It is not because of "miSOgYnY", and I hope you realize throwing these labels around does not help your argument at all, because it's so nonsensically ridiculous. As I said, the negative comments have nothing to do with Rolin Jones and nothing to do with Sam Reid or Jacob Anderson. The negative comments are the result of a showrunner who is in way over her head, who has demonstrated a fundamental lack of understanding of the MW books, who has made some of the most bizarre creative choices, and the negative comments are also the result of lackluster and convoluted writing meant to serve a dumbed-down mainstream audience and, unfortunately, a very stiff and corny lead actress.

The show is not on the same level as IWTV in any respect, and that is blatantly clear. You would have to be without any cognitive awareness whatsoever to not be able to recognize that and trying to blame that on "miSOgYnY" is a total disservice to both shows.

Again, I don't even know why you sent this, because it's clear you haven't read my blog. If you had, you would've seen my numerous posts in which I've (at times) harshly criticized IWTV's mistakes, and I would even argue that IWTV made one grave mistake way worse than anything MW has done, but that's another discussion and you're clearly irrational, and therefore I'm not bothering with saying much else to you other than I think you should pull the witch's broom out of your ass and seek help instead of sending unhinged anons to a Tumblr blog about vampires who has never even said or done any of the shit you just accused me of doing exactly because I don't care enough to bother. *shrugs*

Oh and btw, Claudia's rape episode? It was written by a woman. Madeleine's gang rape episode? It was written by that same woman. 🙃

For anybody who had questions about why Armand and Louis didn’t know Rashid worked for the Talamasca, Mayfair Witches confirmed that all Talamasca agents are trained on how to guard their thoughts against mind readers. I don’t know if this is book accurate or not, but it is the canon in the showverse so, if you were wondering, there you go.

The Talamasca – foundation year and motherhouses

In the preview for Mayfair Witches 02x04, there is a blink and you miss it shot of a room with a fireplace.

The sign is the Talamasca's motto in five languages (Latin, Dutch, Turkish, probably Japanese?, English):

Spectamus et semper ibi sumus Wij kijken en wij kijken altijd Izliyoruz ve her zaman izliyoruz ??? We watch and we are always there

And then there's the year: DCCLVIII

My interpretation is that the 758 refers to the year the Talamasca was founded in the Immortal Universe (as far as I know, there's no precise date given in the books). The languages indicate where the main motherhouses are located around the globe: Rome, Amsterdam, NOLA, New York, and London (these are the ones known from other sources). My guess is that Turkish and Japanese(?) could mean Istanbul and Tokyo.

Hopefully the episode will touch on this. Or at least show the sign more clearly 😅
