Albrecht has framed Ciprien… which is interesting, because Tongayi said the vampires would be involved in framing him… and isn’t it interesting that the only other character we’ve seen erase memories like that is one… and the other Talamasca leader we know has gone rogue is ALSO a vampire…?

Is a group of vampires trying to gain control of the whole Talamasca? Maybe as part of the Great Conversion, or else to use their resources to find the Mother and Father?

Of course, Albrecht doesn’t have the standard vampire telltales. But there could be ways around that, as we saw with Armand in Dubai.

Justin Kirk, who plays Raglan James in Interview With The Vampire, made comments on a recent episode of the advice podcast, “Ask Ronna”, that many speculate imply he will also appear in the Talamasca series. He recently filmed an exciting project outside of the country (USA) that he believes will premiere towards the end of the year. This fits with the timeline of what we know regarding Talamasca.

If he is indeed referring to Talamasca, his comments might also suggest an October premiere, as he says the project might premiere around the spookier time of year.

The Talamasca – foundation year and motherhouses

In the preview for Mayfair Witches 02x04, there is a blink and you miss it shot of a room with a fireplace.

The sign is the Talamasca's motto in five languages (Latin, Dutch, Turkish, probably Japanese?, English):

Spectamus et semper ibi sumus Wij kijken en wij kijken altijd Izliyoruz ve her zaman izliyoruz ??? We watch and we are always there

And then there's the year: DCCLVIII

My interpretation is that the 758 refers to the year the Talamasca was founded in the Immortal Universe (as far as I know, there's no precise date given in the books). The languages indicate where the main motherhouses are located around the globe: Rome, Amsterdam, NOLA, New York, and London (these are the ones known from other sources). My guess is that Turkish and Japanese(?) could mean Istanbul and Tokyo.

Hopefully the episode will touch on this. Or at least show the sign more clearly 😅

For anybody who had questions about why Armand and Louis didn’t know Rashid worked for the Talamasca, Mayfair Witches confirmed that all Talamasca agents are trained on how to guard their thoughts against mind readers. I don’t know if this is book accurate or not, but it is the canon in the showverse so, if you were wondering, there you go.
