Geez, what’s with these middle aged men acting like children over nothing and acting disgusting too? He’s tweeting this and he’s 41 years old as of October 30. Embarrassing. I’m old enough to be his daughter and yet I’m more mature than him, yes, I got some emotional issues that I need to handle, but at least I don’t act like that at least not to the point when I’m disrespecting my own race and culture and making offensive rape “jokes” toward someone who didn’t even mention my name. but men at 57 will write books about how 17 year old girls are soooo sexy. they will invent worlds where women have to be naked for "armor reasons." they will write songs that treat women as objects. people rush to defend them. meanwhile a woman at 35 will be like "heartbreak is hard, actually" or "i feel betrayed by a friend" or "i am struggling with something emotionally." immediately people will say stuff like this woman is 35 by the way. by the way this woman is SO OLD to be experiencing this. BY THE WAY.

im 31, almost 32. the other day a poet was blasted online because at her "big age", she had written a poem about feeling unloved. top comment was "this woman is 29 by the way." this woman is too old to still be useful, by the way. she has to behave better . maybe if she was a good wife and mother she could stop existing loudly, and the story could continue on without her. this woman has served her purpose, by the way. she's so cringe, by the way. at 29 - so old! - she still hasn't figured out that her existence should be one of shame.

She arrives unannounced in full Odonii garb and a long cloak for the cold, soaked through with rain. She's taller than most men, and carries herself like one too. Her hair spills out of her veil, not only unbraided but a horrendous mess. It's kind of fascinating. You catch a glimpse of a handgun slung across her back, hidden beneath her cloak. This is especially exciting; you’ve never seen one up close. You try to peek around her to get a better look at it, and flush in embarrassment when she catches you, shooting you a cold glare.

It doesn't seem like she speaks much without being spoken to, and you aren’t really the type to initiate conversations either. Livya fills in for the both of you, prompting your sister-in-law to introduce herself. Her name is Couya. You give her a respectful bow and curtsy, she gives a very slight bow back without looking you in the eye. She compliments your necklace. Or at least, she mumbles something while looking in the general direction of your necklace, and it might have been a compliment. You aren’t sure whether there’s something wrong with her or she’s just rude.

She's just her for filial duties at the family shrine, and she doesn't stay long. Livya stops her on her way out. She says she's disappointed that the one time in a year she can be bothered to come by, she shows up looking like a disheveled street-whore in priest's clothing. Look at Hibrides, she didn't even know we were having company and still did up her hair so nicely, and all by herself too. Thank God your father isn't here to see this, he's suffered enough embarrassment as it is-.

Couya stands in the doorway in silence through this whole speech. You thoroughly inspect a loose tile in the floor and try your best to pretend you aren't there. Livya doesn't take her hand off your shoulder the whole time.

Giving my brain a break from the Angst™ I'm writing to think about this silly modern spy AU (we in an AU mood lately) where Theodora and Ondolemar meet at bar, lie about what they do for work and hookup; only to see each other an hour after she leaves at work because surprise! Those people you boss mentioned you'd be working with to investigate something (whom you should not trust because they are def up to something) he is one of them!

I can't say I'm not gonna write this because i say that about so many things and then oops, it happens. It is plotted out tho: Theo and Phy go dancing, Phy has an emergency she has to leave for so theo goes to a different bar, someone buys her a drink, ya know how it is :P

Figured out to adapt Phy as her main traits are hunting, liking women, funny, and a good friend. Making her a professional artist who makes her work out of road kill! A way to tie in the her skills and weird art is very gay, as you all know.

There is more to it then just I want them to wear sexy office wear, planning vibes of election fraud, civil unrest, politics, possible drug trafficking (depending on if I write more than 1 chapter)

Listening to James Somerton’s videos is bizarre because now that I’m aware of the plagiarism it really is glaring that he’s just reading other people’s words based on the syntax alone like. He just doesn’t have a personal writing style, there’s no grammatical quirks or phrasings he uses, because it’s all coming straight from the work of different people. If you read enough of one person’s work you pick up on their style and habits - words they like, how they structure and organize their sentences when making a point, that sort of thing. Jimmy boy has no style at all because he’s a mess of stolen words glossed up in fancy expensive editing transitions.

Thinking once again about the very weird emotional reaction I had (am still having) re: Timothee Chalamet's performance in Dune Part 2. Because I came out of that theatre legit a little scared of that guy, which is not something I ever thought I'd be able to say -- he's very much not an intimidating person in most people's minds and if you'd told me what Part 2 was like before I knew anything about Dune I wouldn't have been able to believe it. But he's so good, and I think part of the reason he works so well in this new phase of Paul's character especially is because of that audience perception of him as an actor, because you go into it thinking "this shouldn't work" and then it does work, and that weird dissonance makes it work even more in a meta way. Paul as a character also isn't supposed to seem like he could be this crazy warrior cult leader, and then he is and people within the narrative believe it and it feels within the narrative like it isn't supposed to work, yet somehow does. The fact that it Feels Wrong is perfect because it's supposed to.

I was on pl_frontier playing medic, healing my team, dodging bullets, escaping within an inch of my life the usual when I'm walking pass our soldier and I just heal him up a bit as I go, I don't even think about it because I am a stage 11 medic main and everything is instinct and autopilot at this point. I do not expect, at ALL, for him to open up vc and say in this softest, australian voice that has the distinct quality of him trying to not wake anybody up at an ungodly hour:

"Thank you, medic."

There was a genuine smile in his voice. And then he was off, blasting away to get the enemy snipers. Of course after that my concentration was shattered and I kept giggling about it over the dying screams and the gunfire and the blood. It is not everyday that somebody acknowledges your presence beyond pressing E, much less press V and say something that isn't cursing you out. I was very distracted by it, but I still did my job. I think I sawed an enemy spy in half while twirling my hair but idk it could've been ours.. but being a medic main ive met some of the worst people ever on tf2 (i once got into a server w a verry edgy twitch streamer, can't even repeat what he said, and he wanted me to pocket him! no chance big boy!!) but the little things like that keep me going. It's admittedly insignificant, especially in the constant firefight that is tf2, but the fact somebody would take a sec to express their gratitude like that is more impactful to me than any random player being toxic in chat. Reminds me of why I love tf2...

He also got autobalanced and destroyed me with a crocket when I was about to pop the fattest kritz on my heavy but nobody is perfect
