5 Ways To Keep Birds Cool in Summer
Tumblr media
Here are five simple ways to keep birds cool during the summer: Provide Shade: Ensure that cages are positioned in shaded areas or have covers that can shield birds from direct sunlight. Fresh Water: Offer multiple sources of fresh, clean water for drinking and bathing to help birds regulate their body temperature. Ventilation: Keep the environment well-ventilated; use fans if needed, but ensure they are not blowing directly on the birds. Misting: Lightly mist your birds with water during the hottest parts of the day to help them cool down. Avoid Overcrowding: Reduce the number of birds per cage to ensure they have enough space to stay cool and comfortable.

OC questionnaire tag
Thanks for the tag @the-golden-comet @paeliae-occasionally
My questions are:
1. What is your favorite dessert?
2. Would you rather take a vacation in a hot or cold climate?
3. Do you exercise? What does your regime look like?
4. What is your deepest fear?
5. What happened to your biological family?
6. If you could visit any point in your world’s history (or any point in your story if it’s based on Earth) when and where would it be?
Here’s Fen and Playa from A Feather in the Forest
1. What is your favorite dessert?
Fen: Fresh baked cakes with summer berries.
Playa: Honey right off the comb.
2. Would you rather take a vacation in a hot or cold climate?
Fen: I don’t get cold easily. However, I do get hot easily, so I’d like to go somewhere cool.
Playa: Cold. Hey, does this body look like it does well in the heat?
3. Do you exercise? What does your regime look like?
Fen: I exercise when I can. It’s mainly stretches and light stuff as all the physical activities I do keep me fit.
Playa: I do my best to exercise (hey, don’t judge me!). Sometimes, it’s only light stuff.
4. What is your deepest fear?
Fen: My biggest fear is my secret being discovered. I’m not supposed to tell anyone…but you seem trustworthy. You see, I’m not actually a fox. I’m a crow. There’s bad blood between the birds and foxes, and I don’t want to know what may happen if I were found out.
Playa: Abandonment. Everyone I know gone. Could have all died, could all just pack up without telling me. Either way, I could not imagine being left all alone.
5. What happened to your biological family?
Fen: I honestly don’t know. I was found in the remains of a destroyed camp. I assume that they perished, as I was the only survivor.
Playa: They are alive and well, thank you very much. Surprised? I mean, probability says that sooner or later you will find someone with a family that has not gone through a traumatic event.
6. If you could visit any point in your world’s history when and where would it be?
Fen: I’d like to visit the time to just before the Awakening. The era of myth and legend has always fascinated me, and I’d like to see how true the old stories are.
Playa: The Age of Stones. As much as I have an indifference to politics, I’d like to know how and why they are what they are now. The period just after the Autumn Blood War is so vital to why society is what is is now.

Your questions are:
1. What would it take for you to admit you were wrong?
2. Are you forgetful? If so, how do you remind yourself to do things?
3. Do you consider yourself a neat freak?

There are few things as unpleasant as hell-hot humidity. In the early summer, as the spring rain is on its dying breath, it clings to the skin like a blanket of sweat, unable to be wiped away. Skin sticks to skin and clothes melt to the body in a heated need to be united as one. It churns the stomach in revulsion, cooking the living like a delicacy. In the early weeks of summer the library and catacombs are a refuge to the nausea, ditching out on chores to slip into their cool dark embrace. The lengths you went to to make sure the sweat of nature never touched your skin crossed your mind just once as you pulled the towel around you tighter and walked into the sauna.
It was like choking on smoke, the steam infiltrating your lungs as you inhaled to adjust to the smoldering box. The scent of cedar followed on the tail of the steam seeping into you and you wrinkled your nose at it. Your fingers tightened around the rough terrycloth of the towel as you padded over to a nearby bench, the wooden planks warm and slightly damp to your feet. You were the only person in the sauna right then. Your host would be arriving soon.
You weren’t a morning person. Misfortune had forced that upon you four weeks ago. Standing there in the kitchen as siblings clanged pans and cracked eggs, you laid out soft, doughy biscuits on a tray. Looking out the murky stained glass window as the soft light of dawn slowly brought forth the shapes of cold bushes and delicate flowers, you couldn’t help but to wish for the warmth of your bed, a few more minutes of sleep. In the middle of your dreaming daydream you spotted him: Papa Emeritus Primo, bundled up in thick, warm robes, creeping quietly through the morning mist of the garden to the bathhouse outside the Ministry. Each morning you’d watch  the grease-covered clock that hung over the door to the dining hall until it was 5:50 and then stare out that murky window, waiting for the elderly man’s journey.
It was no secret that you fancied the Papas—most of the congregation did. There were perks to gaining favor with them: nicer clothes with less holes in them, meals with fresh meat and warm bread if you were invited to dine. Some lucky few had been moved to spacious living quarters attached to the papal suites for optimal discretion. That was never why you stopped and stared in the hallways as he passed by, gluing yourself to groups of siblings to make your spying less obvious. No, there was something comforting about the way he moved, something that the other Papas couldn’t replicate. Others thought him to be boring or scary, but you couldn’t quite shake the feeling that there was a gentle touch in those glove-obscured hands.
He was the silent type, sentences short, only giving polite nods and the occasional cough as siblings filed into the chapel for midnight mass. Bland as oatmeal was how one sister had put it. But you'd seen him in the gardens that day when you took a shortcut from the cemetery to the catacombs to avoid the humidity. It was the affection of a lover that guided his movements as he poured water onto the soft loamy soil that covered the roots of a curling plant that spilled its vines freely across the gravel path. He caressed the plant leaves and whispered to them in Italian, thumbs brushing away any stray dust or pollen that might have imposed itself upon the emerald life. Brushing and stroking the leaves, you watched him in a daze, wondering if he would stroke a lover’s face the same way.
The door creaked open and he shuffled in. The burlap cloak fell to the floor with a soft thump and you looked away quickly: he had no clothes on underneath. You looked back just enough to keep an eye on him in the peripheral. He gave a great yawn and stretched like a cat in the lazy afternoon sun. When he leaned back you heard his spine cracking followed by the whispered scratching of nails against skin. He shuffled only one foot forward before taking note of the toweled intruder.
“Sister.” Papa Primo’s voice was still hoarse from sleep. The never-before-heard bass caused you to shift.
“Papa,” you said. Even avoiding his white eye and naked body, the words stuck in your throat, tangled with the steam.
He resumed his procession toward the bench, taking his time to lower himself gently onto the baking wood, watching you the whole way down. His back popped again when he pressed his palms against his thighs. A groan of contentment echoed through the sauna as he released the tension, making himself comfortable. “I do not get many visitors here.”
“I’m intruding,” your voice came weakly. “I’m sorry. I’ll go.” You clutched your towel to you, hurrying to leave, hurrying to crawl back to your bed to forget this mistake.
“Scusa,” he hoarsed, a gruff authority in his voice barring the exit to you, “it is rare to find una suora that is an early bird. The steam only calls to me and an occasional ghoul this early.”
You took your seat once more, tucking your hands beneath your thighs to stop from fidgeting with them. “I couldn’t sleep,” you lied.
He sniffed at this and you dared to look at his face. “Could not or would not?”
You squirmed as he looked you in the eye, unable to speak. This was a bad plan. The urge to run away rattled through your bones. Who were you to try and sleep with a Papa? It would have been better etiquette to just wait for one to approach you. That’s how it’s done. That’s how it’s always been done. Ghouls delivering gifts and keys, being pulled out of Ministry duties for furtive appointments. It was all unspoken rules and signals. Yet here you were, trying to weasel your way into Papa Primo’s bed.
“Scusa, I tease.”
A half-hearted laugh escaped your lungs. He was joking. Of course he was joking. The silence hung as he examined you and your stupid little laugh. It hung until you were convinced it would hang yourself. The fake explanations gushed forth. “My dreams were restless. I found myself waking up so much that I came here. I hoped the steam would help put me to sleep.”
“If you are having trouble sleeping you could come see me, sister.”
“Oh?” It’s all you could manage as you fought the thought of slipping through the night surreptitiously to knock on his door and warm his bed for the price of a good night’s sleep.
He got up, joints creaking, and grabbed the ladle out of the water pail. You watched as he ambled over to the hot coals. You watched the sinewy arms guide the ladle dripping with water over the coals. You watched as the water slipped down the side of the ladle, hugging its curve, clinging to its old way, resisting the fire that would set it free as steam. You watched as with a little more tilt the water broke free of the curve, pulled down, and met the hot coals with a great hiss. You watched as the room filled with steam, obscuring the oldest Emeritus brother and yourself. You watched and moved.
“We have many medicinal plants that can help you if you are feeling unea-“ His words trailed off as the steam cleared, revealing yourself. You arched your back more to accentuate your breasts and the heart that hammered between them. Your hands gripped the towel that now rested around your hips, trying to still their shaking. He whispered something in Italian, his hiss mingling with the residual of the coals. “Rare indeed.”
Your stomach flipped. You were rapidly approaching the coals and had yet to know if they were hot.
A brief smile played in those old tired eyes before he resumed his seat. “You are bold, Suora. I knew I had a little dove watching me from her cage every morning, but I did not know she was so lascivious.”
Your blood ran cold, and you felt more naked in that statement than when you had first shed your towel. He had never once looked over to where you had laid out breakfast for the ministry in stupefied admiration. You knew he had never spied you himself because if he had looked at you in any singular way you would have knocked the tray of biscuits to the floor.
“Gli uccellini raramente sono così nascosti come pensano. You want an antidote to your restlessness?”
You nodded. His unmoving gaze commanded you to nod. It didn’t matter if you were answering the lie or the truth that had roused you from sleep into this hellishly hot sauna so early in the morning, and Satan was it hot.
“Dimmi bambina: You want your Papa’s cock?”
Steam settled around him as he waited for your answer, an early morning reverie that you were uncertain you wouldn’t wake up from. You glanced down at those weathered hands and then back up to his mismatched gaze. “I want your co… only yours. I-” Your mind felt fogged up from the steam, unable to tell him how Terzo was too flashy and Secondo too scary. It wasn’t the title you wanted: it was him.
“Vieni qui, colomba.” He patted the planks in between his legs.
You bit the inside of your cheek as you got up, watching as he dragged his eyes over your naked form. The butterflies in your stomach danced as you watched his pupils linger on your hips a second too long before they met your own, staring up into your sinful soul. He reached out a hand and pulled you to be seated with your back to his chest. His hands were worn smooth and shiny with age and hard work of many a garden tool. They slid up the steam-warmed skin of your arms, not in any particular hurry. Meeting collar bone, he gently pressed you back into him, his smattering of  silver chest hair tickling the nape of your neck. Like a flower, he luxuriously inhaled the bouquet of your scent, his aquiline nose pressed into your scalp and then neck. At last, he licked the petal-soft skin right above the last reminder that you were living and breathing and that it was all real.
You leaned into his touch and taste, whimpering as his right hand gripped your jaw to present your neck to him, his canvas soon to be painted with bruises from his lips. His left hand slipped between your thighs, not wasting any time swiping the smooth pad of his thumb over your clit.
Your breath came faster and faster and you squirmed from the brush, the important nerves alive for the first time that morning. “Rilassati, bambina. Papa will take care of you.” He mumbled the sedative into the crook of your neck as ring and index finger spread your lips, exposing your clit to his leisurely strokes, coaxing it and soothing it as if it were one of his revered plants.
Your heart beat against your ribs as he stroked and kissed, spurred on by the steam that loosened your vocal cords, a stream of moans praising his skilled touch and tongue. Papa Primo’s satisfaction at this pressed into your lower back.
He was well endowed by the Olde One. The tip of his cock nestled into the small of your back and for the first time, your worries were replaced with if you would be able to take the Papa you’d so long desired and watched from your kitchen window all those mornings. “Papa,” you started.
He flickered his finger quicker and quicker, his right hand dragged down your throat to knead your breast like he kneaded the earth before sowing seeds. “Cum for me, colomba. Cum for your Papa. Sì proprio così. Voglio che la tua fica sia bella e bagnata per il mio cazzo.” He quickly slid his fingers into your aching cunt, pressing hard into the tender flesh until you spasmed and fluttered internally.
You gripped his thighs as you watched the cords in his arm flex rapidly, unable to look away as palm and fingers continued to work through your orgasm, unrelenting. They pushed and pressed until you screamed, words failing you as he finally withdrew his fingers. He brought them to your mouth, pressing the cream-coated tips to your gasping lips.
“Assaggia te stessa, bambina mia.” He guided the slick fingers into your mouth, smearing your juices into your tastebuds. His fingers swept the inside of your cheeks, and under your tongue, eventually gently touching the back of your throat. “Good girl. It tastes good, sì? It is much better than the sleeping herbs I would have given you. Do you like the way your pussy tastes on my fingers?”
You sucked against them, tasting the salt and tang, until he pulled them free. The string of drool between your lips and his fingers broke as you answered, “Yes, Papa.”
“Bene, lay  down. This is your first time in the sauna, sì? I do not want you to pass out.” You did as told, and realized just how lightheaded you’d become as the blood flowed more easily, and sights and sounds became more clear. You watched how his thick cock swung as he walked to the pail of water. He scooped the water once more and brought it back to you.
“ Consider this a baptism.” He tilted the ladle, letting the water spill onto your warm skin. You jumped, but relaxed back into the cedar planks as the water washed away sweat and heat. He poured it over your chest, down your stomach, and at last between your thighs.
You sighed as the heat seemed to wick away from your body. He sunk the ladle back into the pail, returning to massage the water droplets that clung to your skin like morning dew. He tilled the earth once more before cleaving the soil. His hands gently guided your legs apart and you looked nervously once more at his cock trying to suppress a whimper.
He stroked your inner thigh, shushing with each pass. “ Non si agiti. Do not be afraid. You must relax.” Pressing a kiss inside your knee, he continued his parting. You swallowed hard as he lined the thick head of his cock up with your entrance. His hands massaged and pulled at the muscles in the creases of your thighs, stretching you as he slid himself in, never rushing, never hurrying. You winced at the ache only once before he bottomed out. Gentle hands guided you once more, taking your right hand in his to wrap around what wouldn’t fit. “ Good girl. Take all of your Papa.”
Your hand tensed as he moved over you, blocking the hazy orange light that glowed from the ceiling. He growled at the reflex and gave a shallow thrust. You whimpered as you fought the urge to cum from just how thick he was.
“La tua fica è stata mandata dall'inferno. Così stretto,” he growled. He pumped in and out slowly, letting you adjust, spreading your dripping arousal into your hand. He grunted softly as he worked in and out of your hand and cunt. His nostrils flared, pushing faster and harder in the humidity. His white eye burned in a new fire, one that you’d never seen all those times in the chapel or even that summer afternoon in the garden. It burned and plummeted past the side of your face, searing your cheek as he rutted to sow his seed.
“Is this what you wanted, little bird?” he panted against your ear. It was the first time you realized the smell of mint wafting about him.
The ‘yes’ was stuffed down with an anguished cry as his hips dragged up against your clit. His breath came fast at this, at you.
 “I wanted to call for you next week. My ghoul saw you watching. How did he put it?” A savoring kiss to your neck sent shivers up your spine as he thought. “Ah… yes,” he hissed. “‘She watches you like a sad dog.’”
You yelped as he shoved your left leg up against your chest, nails digging in as he hit a new depth.
“ He asked me if he should take care of you,” he continued, not minding the tears that spilled down your cheeks and onto his. “It seems la colomba wanted me to take care of her instead.”
“I’m sorry.” It was quiet, but it stopped him.
“Are you ashamed of your desire, little bird?”
You didn’t answer that.
He scooped you up and set you astride him. You watched as the orange glow highlighted the corners of his mouth set into a hard line. “I will have you, but only if you can rid yourself of shame here.”
You looked down and away, but he gripped your chin forcing you to look him in the eye. His fingers dug in hard enough to press the insides of your cheeks to the sharp edge of your teeth
“You will fuck yourself on my cock, or you will leave. The Olde One rewards greed, Sister, and so do I.”
Laying your hands on his age-thinned shoulders, you raised your hips a few inches. The hardline crooked up into a smile as you sank down onto his cock and into your sin. The greed wrapped itself like a cloak around your body, banishing the anxious chill. You needed this. You needed him. “Papa...”
“Hm?” He looked up at you, pleased.
“I want to be your bird,” you whimpered as you sank yourself down on him again.
“Many siblings want to be my bird…Fuck.” His nails dug into your hips as you took him as deep as you could. The same muscles that had forced you to come undone were digging their claws into you, insisting you keep the pace that you had set, if not begging you to speed up.
Your pained whine flowered into a desperate moan as you felt yourself clench around him. The muscles in your thighs ached as you angled and tried to chase your high, not even bothering to hide just how good the stretch of his cock made you feel. The moans and cries filled the sauna and the warm wood soaked them in greedily like thirsty soil.
“Canta per me, uccellino. Dimmi come hai bisogno che la tua fica bisognosa venga riempita del seme di tuo Papa.”
Was this really what you had wished for all those days in the kitchen? The way his eyes bored into you, seeing you for the first time, all of his attention on you. And yet you knew that you were not special. There was nothing special about a wild bird that looked inside of the window and dreamed of life inside of a gilded cage, being fondled and caressed by a caring master. What a stupid bird to subject yourself to all the scrutiny that came with a cage and perch, and yet…
You felt your high so close on the heels of your distracting thoughts and you couldn’t help the way you pushed yourself just a little bit more. Your voice came high and sweet, “Papa I’m going to come!”
“Right on time,” he smiled as you fucked your swollen cunt on him. “Come for your Papa, uccellino.”
His sweet words of encouragement are all you need to come undone. You cry, drawing sharp breaths of humid air as you look at him. He watched you so intently, mouth agape at the beauty that was turned into a pathetic mess at his command. His hands guided your hips in working through your orgasm, even though you wanted nothing more than to stop and savor every contraction. The sensations drove the tears to your eyes and your lip quivered as you dig your own nails into his shoulders.
The pinch of your talons must have been the final push as his guidance slowed and halted and you swear you could taste the salt as he sowed his seed. His sunken chest heaved with effort as you felt the hot ropes of him soak you completely. He was perfect like this, and everything you wanted: heaving, panting, and devoted to the moment of just you.
But even your unconventional ways had their limits. Prying yourself from him, you tried your best to walk back and grab your towel, cunt aching from the stretch and abuse, seed dripping down and mixing with the sweat on your thighs. Fuck it was hot in here. There was an external relief in being freed from the heat of him and an internal want to curl back into his arms. A hand around your wrist spoke to the latter.
“Uccellino.” He rose to address you, thumb coming up to lovingly caress your cheek. You tried to look away from his eyes, but they held you in the need to know of his approval. “Tonight. I dine at 7. Do not be late. I know you can keep time.” A short smile and one final swipe before he sinks back into the cedar wood, shutting his eyes in contentment. It’s as if you had never even been there, and your signal to leave. You wrap the towel around your trembling body and head out into the morning mist, darkness offering you refuge from the heat that now burned within you at the thought of tonight.

So I got the main guys of the 141st done, but what about other CoD characters? Do they have dragons? Abso-fucking-lutely! And I'm gonna continue this little series with a recently found favorite and his dragon:
König and Amsel
Tumblr media
König
1. König is of course a title. For the sake of this AU his name is Kaleb (I refuse to call him Kilgore because that sounds WAY too extra/on the nose).
2. He is, of course, king of his own kingdom, called Edren, which borders Athana to the north.
3. He became king at fifteen, after his father was killed by an assassin from another kingdom. At the time he was considered too young to rule, but he was a fast learner and took to heart both the words of his advisors and the needs of his people.
4. Kaleb is betrothed to Princess Lyra of Athana, and has been since they were both children. There's a five year age gap between the two, and they alternated visiting each other's kingdoms during the summer months, so as to not interrupt either of their studies, until they were both adults.
5. He does deeply love Lyra, but admits he's jealous of her close connection with the Ghost of Dragon's Keep...
6. Claimed Amsel at the age of seventeen, which actually angered a lot of the common people in Athana, as they saw Amsel "The Black Bird" as their primary protector.
7. Has impeccable aim with a crossbow, on both dragon and horseback.
8. Has been teaching Lyra his language. He's basically like her own version of duolingo.
9. While a good ruler, Kaleb is a jealous man. He sees Simon as competition for his betrothed, and does what he can to keep Lyra from him while he's in Athana.
10. Let's just say hell has no fury like a giant scorned. A giant who also happens to have the second largest dragon in existence at his disposal...
Amsel
1. Known as the Black Bird to the commoners of Athana, Amsel is the second largest dragon in the known world. Only his mother Nova is bigger than him.
2. Is the brother of Lyra's dragon, Talaera. The two were nest mates and are still close. Their riders are betrothed but that doesn't mean they'll mate. Dragons are cool, but incest isn't, even among them.
3. His scales are a deep purple that they look almost black, hence the name Black Bird. His flames are deep violet with veins of black and red.
4. He can eat cattle and other livestock whole, and often does. This actually angers a lot of the farmers in Edren, who've been calling for Amsel to be locked up.
5. Is protective of his sister and family, as well as his Rider. Amsel has a relatively nasty temper towards anyone who dares to think of harming them.
6. Amsel tolerates humans. He doesn't necessarily like them, but he tries not to harm them either. They're like insects to him: sometimes fascinating, other times a pest.
7. Refuses to wear a saddle as he finds them binding. Also has a deep hatred of chains. Do not bring a chain anywhere near Amsel, as he will melt it.
8. Like his Rider sees Simon, Amsel sees Brightfire as a threat rather than competition. He believes Talaera deserves better, but Tala is stubborn in that regard.
9. He has defective muscles in his throat, so rather than roaring he screeches. His voice is a little higher pitched than one would expect (kinda like his Rider...).
10. Has no desire to be used as a weapon to hurt people, fearing he'll become as notorious as his father, Daharak the Hellborn, who is now seen as a force of evil.
And that's it for these two! I really hope you guys liked it! I have a few more characters for this AU already made (Laswell, Graves, and, because I actually do love her, Farrah). I don't know if I'll do anyone else from the game after that. If the interest is there I might take suggestions and include others in this AU. I'd like to incorporate Alejandro and Rudolfo, possibly even Valeria and even Makarov into this at some point. Let me know what you guys think!

Mini-Chapter Night, Laughter, and a Sword
Tumblr media
Word Count: 527
Summary: A small chapter in Alex's perspective. A little about her past.
Warnings: N/A
Enjoy!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Alex swung her boomerang to Tallulah. Catch had become their favorite thing to do. It was always a nice way to just chat with each other. It was also a really good activity for stamina training. Tallulah raced after it and jumped off a stump to catch it.
She panted, “Nice job, Alex! These throws are really good! A bit hard to catch though.”
“Oh well, been doing it my whole life.” Alex shrugged with a grin, “Always a good way to get coons and foxes away from chickens.”
“Let’s take 5, before I pass out.” Tallulah decided, resting against a nearby tree.
Alex settled next to her. A cooling breeze passed through the clearing. She lifted her head and nodded to the soft melody of the birds.
Tallulah stretched her arms with a deep breath, “Mind telling me about your home?”
Alex smiled softly and crossed her legs. It had been a little while since she had been back.
“Well, I’m from Kansas. Me and my mama live on a dusty little farm a little ways from the nearest town. Not quite in the middle of nowhere but also not in a busy neighborhood if you know what I mean.”
Tallulah closed her eyes but was still listening intently. It honestly meant a lot to Alex. It had been a good while since she had someone listen to her with interest. Especially about home.
“We have a couple animals and crops. Never really bothered me that I didn’t have a dad. But we did and still have these 3 old dudes that live next door. They come and sit on the porch with my mama sometimes. Not real good hearing though. Two of them are named Larry, then there’s also Gerald. I would try to chat with them but they could never hear me! All they would answer with was “HUUUUUH?!” kind of annoying but I got used to it.”
Alex giggled as she could almost hear them now. It was kind of weird what company a county girl could find when all alone.
“Did you ever have many friends?” Tallulah inquired, opening one eye to look at Alex.
“Nah… Not ones my age at least. But I was pretty content with what I had. My mama always told me my dad went to work on the railroads. Not the most popular job but I believed her. I wonder if she really knew the truth.”
“What’s your mom’s name?”
“Pamela Fleet. Or Pam for short. I miss her a bunch.” Alex sighed.
She could see her mother’s warm brown eyes and light brunette hair. Stripes of gold and gray in it. A big grin always on her face.
Tallulah stopped her humming for a minute or so, seeming to contemplate something.
“Forgive my straightforwardness, but is she…dead?”
Alex’s mouth gaped open,“Ah heck no! She’s alive and well! Running the farm with the Larrys and Gerald. Going berry picking on some of the trails near our home. I go back every Summer.”
Tallulah laughed, “Sorry, you just used a lot of past tense.”
She got up and lended a hand to Alex, “C’mon. Let’s keep playing.”
Elrya: The New World By T. A. Onkọwe (Me)
5 - Fianna
Love and lust are but distractions. Read instead, master a skill. Those are much more worthwhile pursuits. -Gwan HeeWon, scholar of the great Bronze Library
It seems like Flynn's... dalliances with the sailors had given them the wrong impression. It appears they thought she would be much like her twin in her proclivities. They couldn't be more wrong. Her chilly disposition and glare were enough to dissuade all but the most persistent. It hardly mattered, Fianna spent most of her time in the crow's nest, constantly volunteering to look out.
The fresh sea air is wonderful from up there, but it doesn't compare to the fresh spring scents of the Ameros woods. The Ameros woods were a beautiful, peaceful place, only marred by how close it was to the city. Although, the temple did their best to keep it clean and pristine for their goddess. A constant battle, but Fianna loved it all the same. It was her sanctuary, her place to think and be alone with her thoughts.
It was seven summers ago, Fianna was just a child. The warm light of the setting summer sun filters through the tree and onto Fianna's face and scarlet red hair. Fianna remembers the feel of the rough bark against her back and the smell of the leaves in the air. The memory is so vivid and clear that she can almost feel the warmth right now or hear the birds chirping in the distance. The beautiful noise is interrupted by the sound of crackling leaves and snapping twigs. Fianna froze and pulled her bow out of the quiver on her back. She was always armed. She shifted, trying to see who or what was approaching without being seen herself. Flynn, her twin brother, came into view and she relaxed, slumping against the tree in relief. She sheathed her bow in her quiver and started to climb down. She was going to sneak up on him. He was a bit of an airhead, so it wasn't difficult to do.
"Hey Flynn!" she called out once he was close enough, popping out from amidst the branches, hanging upside down from a lower branch.
He yelped and jumped back, clutching his chest. "You scared me!"
"I scared you?" she asked, feigning innocence. "I didn't mean to."
"Yeah right." He rolled his eyes. "You're such a liar."
Fianna righted herself then jumped down next to him.
"Whatever." She shrugged. "Were you looking for me?"
"Yeah, I was," he said. "I wanted to show you something."
"What is it?" she asked, curious.
"A thing." He grabbed her hand and tugged her in the direction he had come from.
"A thing?"
"A very important thing."
Fianna followed Flynn, her hand still in his. She trusted him implicitly, even though he was a bit of a goofball. He led her deeper into the woods, babbling on about his day, about a sailor's son he found cute, about a new ability he'd discovered until they reached a clearing in the woods with a clear bubbling brook and a sagging flowering tree hanging over it. Flynn let go of her hand then and went to sit on a large flat boulder near the water. He patted the spot next to him, inviting her to join him.
"This is my secret spot," he said. "I found it yesterday and I wanted to share it with you."
He popped off his boots and dipped his toes in the clear cool water. Fianna sat next to him and did the same.
"This is definitely a cool thing," she said. "I'm glad you showed it to me."
"I knew you'd like it," he said, smiling.
They sat there for a while, just enjoying each other's company and the peacefulness of the spot. Flynn started throwing stones into the water, trying to make them skip. Fianna watched him for a while then laid down on the boulder, pillowing her head on her arms. She felt the warmth of the sun on her face and the coolness of the stone on her back. She drifted off to sleep, feeling content and happy the way only a blissfully ignorant child could.
The shore of Comraich Kyst slowly came into view on the horizon and Fianna called out to the crew below. "Forty miles to shore, approximately 6 hours."
She climbed down from the crow's nest and went in search of Flynn, who she found on the quarter deck on the firstmate's lap. Flynn had disappeared with him during the celebratory banquet the first night they arrived on the ship.
"Ew," She wrinkled her nose in disgust. "Get a room."
The firstmate, a tall, muscular man with a poorly groomed beard, looked up from where he was nuzzling Flynn's neck. "It's nice to see you Fianna." Flynn pulled away from the man.
"I swear, you're like a damn leech." The man just chuckled and pulled Flynn back in for a kiss.
"I'm going to be sick," Fianna said, turning away from the display.
"I take it you're not a fan of sailors?" The firstmate spoke up after he was done sucking face.
"Clearly, not as much as my brother is," Fianna rolled her eyes. "Flynn, I need to talk to you. In my room about... a thing."
"About a thing?" Flynn parroted.
"Yes, a thing. A very important thing." Fianna tugged on her twin's arm, trying to pry him away from the firstmate.
"Can it wait?"
"No."
"Fine." Flynn hopped of the firstmates lap.
"Great. I just need to grab something from the deck. I'll meet you in my room." Flynn seemed puzzled but nodded without protest.
Before he left, he turned to the firstmate. "Be in my cabin in an hour."
Once he was gone, Fianna waited a few seconds to hear his footsteps fully dissipate before turning her attention to the firstmate.
"You know he's just using you right?"
The firstmate just shrugged. "I know. But he's good in bed, and I'm not looking for anything more."
Fianna just shook her head. The firstmate might not think he wasn't looking for anything more, but she had a feeling that it wouldn't last too long because she'd seen this before. Flynn finds someone to keep him amused for a few days or weeks, usually transients, his favourite being sailors, then he moves on to a new distraction. No matter how much he makes it clear that their dalliance was just a fleeting distraction, they got attached. Fianna had lost count at the amount of broken men Flynn had left in his wake, or the amount she'd personally had to chase off when they became especially obsessed.
"Guard your heart." Fianna warned as she left.
The Andharban Trek is a popular trekking destination in Maharashtra, India. Andharban Valley is known for its lush green trails, dense forests, and scenic views. The name "Andharban" literally means "Dark Forest," reflecting the dense, shadowy nature of the trek.
What's the Best Time to Plan for the Andharban Trek Pune?
The best time to plan the Andharban from Pune is during the monsoon season (June to September) when the forest is at its lushest, with vibrant greenery, misty trails, and waterfalls in full flow, creating a magical experience. However, the trail can be slippery, so proper gear and caution are necessary. The post-monsoon season (October to November) is also ideal, offering cooler weather and green landscapes with a more manageable trail. Avoid trekking during the summer (March to May) and winter (December to February) when the conditions are less favorable and the scenery is less vibrant.
Trek Overview:
Location: Maharashtra, India
Trek Type: One-way (from Pimpri Dam to Bhira Dam)
Duration: 5-7 hours
Distance: Andharban trek distance is approximately 13-16 km
Difficulty Level: Moderate
Best Time to Visit: Monsoon (June to September) and Post-Monsoon (October to November)
Highlights of the Andharban Trek Pune
Dense and Mysterious Forests:
The trek gets its name "Andharban" or "Dark Forest" due to the thick canopy so the Andharban trek route covers most of the trail, creating a cool, shaded path that feels almost otherworldly.
Spectacular Waterfalls:
During the monsoon season, the trail is dotted with numerous waterfalls. Some are small cascades, while others are larger, creating a refreshing atmosphere as you trek.
Challenging Descent:
The descent towards Bhira Dam is steep and can be challenging, especially during the monsoon. This adds an element of adventure to the trek.
Rich Flora and Fauna:
The Andharban forest is rich in biodiversity, with a variety of plants, insects, and birds. If you’re lucky, you might spot some unique species along the way.
Cool Climate:
The dense forest canopy and the presence of streams and waterfalls ensure that the trek remains cool, even during the warmer months.
Monsoon Magic:
The Andharban Trek Pune is most popular during the monsoon season when the forest is at its greenest, the waterfalls are in full flow, and the entire area feels like a natural paradise.
Tips and Guidelines for the Andharban Trek Pune
Start Early:
Carry Rain Gear:
If trekking during the monsoon, carry a raincoat or poncho to stay dry. Waterproof your backpack as well.
Stay Hydrated:
Bring at least 2 liters of water to stay hydrated throughout the trek. While there are streams, it’s safer to carry your supply.
Pack Light Snacks:
Carry energy-rich snacks like dry fruits, nuts, and energy bars to keep your energy levels up during the trek.
Use Trekking Poles:
Trekking poles can be helpful, especially during the descent, to maintain balance and reduce strain on your knees.
Go with a Guide or Group:
If you're unfamiliar with the route, it’s advisable to go with an experienced guide or join a group to ensure safety.
Be Cautious of Wildlife:
The Andharban forest is home to various species of wildlife. Be respectful of their habitat and avoid disturbing them.
Understanding Mosquito Bites During Monsoon: A Simple Guide by SmartCare Diagnostics
The monsoon season brings cool, refreshing rain after the hot summer. But it also brings problems, especially mosquito bites. These tiny insects can be annoying and can make you sick. SmartCare Diagnostics explains everything you need to know about mosquito bites during the monsoon, including the risks, how to prevent them, how to treat them, and why accurate diagnosis is important.
Why Are Mosquito Bites a Problem?
Mosquitoes can spread diseases that make you very sick. During the monsoon, the rain and puddles create perfect places for mosquitoes to breed. It's important to know why mosquito bites are a problem to stay healthy.
1. Diseases Spread by Mosquitoes
Mosquitoes can spread diseases like malaria, dengue fever, chikungunya, Zika virus, and West Nile virus. Each disease has its own symptoms and problems.
Malaria: Spread by Anopheles mosquitoes. Symptoms include fever, chills, headache, and muscle aches. It can be very dangerous if not treated.
Dengue Fever: Spread by Aedes mosquitoes. Symptoms include high fever, severe headache, joint and muscle pain, and rash. Severe cases can be deadly.
Chikungunya: Spread by Aedes mosquitoes. Causes sudden fever, joint pain, headache, muscle pain, and rash. Joint pain can last for months.
Zika Virus: Spread by Aedes mosquitoes. Very dangerous for pregnant women because it can cause birth defects. Symptoms include fever, rash, joint pain, and red eyes.
West Nile Virus: Spread by Culex mosquitoes. Symptoms include fever, headache, body aches, and rash. Severe cases can affect the brain.
2. Allergic Reactions
Some people may have allergic reactions to mosquito bites, which cause severe itching, redness, and swelling. Rarely, a life-threatening allergic reaction called anaphylaxis can occur.
3. Infections from Scratching
Scratching mosquito bites can break the skin and cause infections. These infections may need antibiotics.
How to Recognize Mosquito Bites
Mosquito bites are easy to spot because they cause red, itchy bumps. Knowing what they look like helps you treat them quickly.
1. Appearance
Mosquito bites look like small, red, itchy bumps. The area around the bite may become swollen. Sometimes, a small blister or bruise forms.
2. Symptoms
The main symptom is itching. Other symptoms include:
Redness: The bite area becomes red and inflamed.
Swelling: Common in people who are sensitive to mosquito bites.
Heat: The area may feel warm.
Pain: Some bites can be painful due to swelling.
Rash: A rash may develop around the bite.
How to Prevent Mosquito Bites
Preventing mosquito bites is the best way to avoid health risks. Follow these simple steps to reduce the chances of getting bitten.
1. Use Mosquito Repellents
Apply mosquito repellent to your skin and clothes. Look for repellents with DEET, picaridin, or oil of lemon eucalyptus.
DEET: Provides long-lasting protection.
Picaridin: Effective and less likely to irritate skin. Safe for children.
Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus: A natural repellent but not for children under three.
2. Wear Protective Clothing
Wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants, socks, and closed shoes to reduce skin exposure.
Light-Colored Clothing: Mosquitoes like dark colors, so wear light colors.
Permethrin-Treated Clothing: Clothing treated with permethrin repels and kills mosquitoes.
3. Avoid Stagnant Water
Mosquitoes breed in stagnant water, so remove potential breeding sites around your home.
Empty Containers: Regularly empty and clean containers that collect water, like flower pots and bird baths.
Clean Gutters: Make sure gutters are clear to prevent water from building up.
Cover Water Storage: Make sure water containers are covered tightly.
4. Use Mosquito Nets
Use mosquito nets while sleeping, especially for babies and young children.
Insecticide-Treated Nets: Nets treated with permethrin kill or repel mosquitoes.
5. Install Screens
Install screens on windows and doors to keep mosquitoes out of your home.
6. Use Fans
Mosquitoes are weak fliers, so using fans can help keep them away.
How to Treat Mosquito Bites
Even with preventive measures, mosquito bites can still happen. Knowing how to treat them can ease symptoms and prevent complications.
1. Antihistamines
Over-the-counter antihistamine creams or pills can reduce itching and swelling.
Topical Antihistamines: Apply directly to the bite for quick relief.
Oral Antihistamines: Reduce overall allergic reactions.
2. Cold Compress
Applying a cold compress or ice pack to the bite area can numb the area and reduce inflammation.
3. Avoid Scratching
Scratching can break the skin and lead to infections. Keep the area clean and avoid scratching.
4. Calamine Lotion
Calamine lotion can soothe itching and discomfort.
5. Hydrocortisone Cream
Hydrocortisone cream can reduce inflammation and itching.
6. Aloe Vera
Aloe vera has anti-inflammatory properties. Applying fresh aloe vera gel to the bite can help.
1. (Sigh) it's Rick. Summer is a close second though.
2. I know about the nose thing but I still think domestic Beth is the clone, especially with the sudden attitude shift towards Jerry. Still, I think it's best we never officially find out, I like that they're both equally maybe the clone.
3. Maybe. Friends or close colleagues at a minimum based on what Rick said at the end of S.6, but I don't think it's guaranteed they were involved past that point. Possible for sure.
4. BP calls her Bird Daughter but I think she'll eventually outgrow that and want to be called something else, but I also don't know what that'd be.
5. At least 9 maybe 10, hopefully around 15 or 20 with a movie. I don't want it to go on forever but I also think there's still tons to explore. Also, a longshot, but I'd be so hyped for a spin-off of aged up adult Morty adventures after Rick dies.
6. (Looks around my blog) ... do I need to say it? Smash, 1000% smash.
7. Evil Morty by far, I love him so so so much.
8. Impossible to choose so I'm doing one for every season. Ricksy Business, Wedding Squanchers, The Ricklantis Mixup, The Old Man and the Seat, Rickternal Friendshine of the Spotless Mort, Final Desmithation, Fear no Mort (tho Unmortricken is very close).
9. The sperm one.
10. Mr. Poopybutthole probably after S.7 E.1, he's just kinda insufferable.
11. Oh geez, that's a lot to pick from. Probably The Vat of Acid still, it's just so fucked up over Morty's valid criticism and really shows how far Rick'll go to keep Morty under his thumb. Also the Heist episode was pretty surprisingly cruel.
12. No, I saw no changes in writing or character in S.7 and honestly I love the emotion and passion the new VAs are putting into their roles.
13. @fandomwe1rd0
14. Probably Summer, she reminds me of when I was a teenager a lot and I also had teen parents.
15. Dude there's so many?? Like I couldn't even choose a favorite episode how do you expect me to- well, I do love it whenever they break the fourth wall.
16. Seven for me, keep in mind I enjoyed the hated episodes. I'd rank Numbericons above Air Force Wong sorry.
17. Four by far for me. Flat jokes and forgettable plots in that season.
18. No, but I'd be extremely disappointed and wouldn't have high hopes for it.
19. I CANT CHOOSE THINGS
"No you're right let's do it the dumbest way possible because it's easier for you."
"To live is to risk it all- otherwise you're just an inert chunk of randomly assembled molecules drifting wherever the universe blows you."
"Nobody exists on purpose. Nobody belongs anywhere. We're all going to die. Come watch TV."
20. Whoever tf Rick's getting with that season. Summer probably! She has it best in the family imo, she gets cool shit from Rick for doing his chores but doesn't get berated like Morty does. Space Beth has a resistance to lead too and some fun cybernetics though which would be fun.
20 SHORT-ANSWER* RICK AND MORTY QUESTIONS FOR YOU:
*You can write long answers, if you'd like! Feel free to skip questions, too!
Who is your favourite Rick and Morty Character?
Which Beth is the clone: Domestic Beth or Space Beth?
Do you think that Rick-C137 and Rick Prime were previously romantically involved?
What do you think would be a good name for Birdperson and Tammy's daughter?
How many seasons do you think Rick and Morty will eventually have?
Rick C-137: smash or pass?
Who is your favourite Rick and Morty villain?
Your favourite Rick and Morty episode?
Your least favourite Rick and Morty episode?
Who is your least favourite Rick and Morty character?
What is, in your opinion, the worst thing that Rick C-137 has ever done?
Do you think that Rick and Morty will be affected substantially by having to change the voice actor for Rick and Morty and a bunch of other characters?
What's a good Rick and Morty blog?
Who is the Rick and Morty character that you relate to the most?
The funniest Rick and Morty bit/scene, in your opinion?
Best Rick and Morty season?
Worst Rick and Morty season?
Would you stop watching the show if Justin Roiland returned?
If you had to be one member of the smith family in the next season, who would you want to be?
List 5 things that make you happy, then put this in the askbox for the last 10 people who liked or reblogged something from you! Get to know your mutuals and followers ⭐️
ok last one! I'll try to make this one short (I failed)
My friends <333 I was really lonely growing up, and always struggled to connect with people both online and offline, so when I went to uni in 2020 and met these wonderful people over the uni's discord, and then being able to meet them in person a year later was wonderful!! My friends truly are everything to me, and most of my favourite memories are time spent with them!
On the topic, a favourite of mine is ending nights out after going to our local goth club with a kebab is something I always always always look forward too! There's something so beautiful in stumbling around with my friends, shivering in the cold because we're all too stubborn to bring coats, wolfing down kebabs while we sit on the pavement that I love. It always reminds me of this song by dodie, and truly something I'm going to miss once we're all a bit too grown up to be spending every wednesday night outside the kebab house debriefing on what had happened that night (not too old yet though!!).
Crocheting! I only got into this last year when my grandmother taught me, but I love creating amigurumi plushies to gift to people, it's a hobby I find so relaxing and a nice way to unwind. I picked it up in an attempt to cut down on screen time and I found it to be so fulfilling, it really helps keep my mind and hands busy during my downtime which benefits my mental health tremendously. There's a little yarn shop in my town ran by two little old ladies, and I love going in and showing them my latest projects, and chatting to them while they help me pick out yarn for my next projects. The whole hobby is something that brings me an awful lot of joy :)
Reading in the garden!! Another attempt to cut down on screen time (reading fics doesn't count ok). Especially in warmer weather, I love spending my downtime lounging around in my garden with a good book, maybe a Pimms or Desperado for the vibes. One of my favourite memories is of the summer I spent between my first and second year of uni, where I spent most of my time sunbathing, reading All The Young Dudes and listening to Inside by Bo Burnham. Listening to the birds and bugs and watching my cat play in the grass while I relax is something so lovely that I look forward to in the colder months (not so fun to do when my teeth are chattering from the cold and I can't turn the pages with thermal gloves on).
This is such a silly one, but when my followers/mutuals interact with me! I know I post about it maybe a bit too often, but reblogging a post and seeing people interact with it within a few minutes brings me so much happiness! It feels like we're hanging out!! Getting asks like these ones!! I love em!!!!! I know its just pixels on a screen but knowing that there's someone on the other side that thinks the stuff I reblog is cool or funny, or they like my dumb lil text posts, it makes me happy, knowing that I had even the tiniest little impact on someone through a silly joke on tumblr (or a gifset of keith looking pretty, lets be real). I love the sense of community really, and I'm not quite sure how to put it into words how it makes me happy, but it does, and it's something I really am grateful for :)
Local Restaurant Shocks Myrtle Beach with New Must-Try Menu Items
Buckle up, foodies! A local Myrtle Beach restaurant has sent taste buds into a frenzy with the launch of its new menu, and let's just say it's nothing short of electrifying. Forget your run-of-the-mill seafood platters and predictable pasta dishes – this culinary newcomer is shaking things up with dishes that are as bold and beautiful as the Atlantic coastline itself.
Here's a sneak peek at some of the must-try items that are causing quite a stir:
1. Carolina Surf & Turf Skewers: Picture this: succulent shrimp and scallops, sizzling alongside juicy cuts of local steak, all adorned with a tangy Carolina mustard glaze and perched atop a bed of fluffy coconut rice. Each bite is a burst of sweet, savory, and smoky goodness, with the contrasting textures keeping your palate begging for more.
2. Lowcountry Bao Buns: Move over, tacos! These steamed buns are the new handheld heroes, bursting with unexpected flavors like pulled BBQ jackfruit drizzled with a sweet and spicy pepitas pesto, or crispy fried oysters nestled in a slaw made with local peaches and crunchy pecans.
3. Watermelon Poke Nachos: This ain't your average appetizer. Chunks of fresh watermelon replace tortilla chips, topped with ahi tuna cubes marinated in a citrusy soy sauce, creamy avocado, a sprinkle of sriracha mayo, and crunchy wonton crisps for added textural intrigue. It's refreshing, zingy, and guaranteed to vanish from the plate in seconds.
4. Wood-Fired Octopus Pizza: If you're feeling adventurous, dive into this seafood showstopper. A perfectly charred pizza crust is adorned with a rich tomato sauce, then piled high with tender octopus tentacles, caramelized onions, and a generous shaving of parmesan cheese. Each bite is a smoky, salty, and oh-so-satisfying adventure.
5. Bourbon Brownie Sundae: This dessert is pure decadence on a plate. A warm, gooey brownie is topped with a scoop of bourbon ice cream, a drizzle of salted caramel sauce, candied pecans, and a generous dollop of whipped cream. It's the perfect ending to a meal that's already pushed the boundaries of culinary delight.
So, there you have it – a glimpse into the culinary revolution that's happening right here in Myrtle Beach. With these innovative dishes and a commitment to fresh, local ingredients, this restaurant is quickly becoming the hottest spot in town. So grab your friends, an empty stomach, and an adventurous spirit – you're in for a treat!
Remember, this is just a starting point – the new menu is brimming with even more incredible creations waiting to be discovered. So, go forth, explore, and let your taste buds be your guide!
And hey, if you're lucky enough to be one of the first to try these dishes, be sure to snap some pics and share them on social media using the restaurant's hashtag. You might just start a food trend that takes Myrtle Beach by storm!
Sizzling Summer Style: Choosing the Perfect Bridal Lehenga for a Hot Wedding Season
The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and love is in the air - it's summertime, and wedding season is upon us! While summer weddings are undoubtedly beautiful, they also come with their own set of challenges, especially when it comes to the bride's attire. The scorching heat and high humidity levels can make it difficult to find the perfect bridal outfit that combines both style and comfort. But fear not, because we're here to guide you through the process of selecting the ideal bridal lehenga for a sizzling summer wedding.
Tumblr media
1. Fabric Matters
When it comes to summer weddings, the fabric of your bridal lehenga should be your top priority. Opt for lightweight and breathable materials like chiffon, georgette, or crepe. Throughout the day, these fabrics will ensure you remain cool and comfortable. Avoid heavy fabrics like velvet or silk, as they can trap heat and make you feel suffocated. Choosing the right fabric can make a world of difference in how you feel on your big day.
2. Embrace Pastel Hues
Summer is the perfect time to experiment with soft, pastel colors. Shades like powder blue, blush pink, mint green, and lavender are not only trendy but also help in keeping you cool. Pastels reflect sunlight rather than absorbing it, making them an excellent choice for a hot wedding season. Plus, these colors exude an ethereal and romantic vibe, perfect for a bride.
3. Minimalistic Embroidery
While heavy embroidery and embellishments are a staple in bridal wear, they might not be the best choice for a summer wedding. Instead, opt for minimalistic and delicate embroidery. Light thread work, sequins, and mirror work can add just the right amount of sparkle to your lehenga without weighing you down. Remember, less is often more when it comes to summer bridal fashion.
4. Lehenga Silhouette
The silhouette of your bridal lehenga plays a crucial role in keeping you comfortable. A-line or flared lehengas with a lighter flair are ideal for summer weddings. They allow air circulation and give you the freedom to move comfortably. Avoid overly voluminous lehengas, as they can make you feel hot and restricted.
5. Backless Blouses
If you're comfortable with it, consider opting for a backless or low-back blouse design. Not only does it add a touch of sensuality to your bridal look, but it also helps in keeping you cool. Backless blouses allow your skin to breathe and prevent you from feeling too hot in the summer sun.
6. Dupatta Dilemma
The dupatta is an essential part of a bridal lehenga, but in the summer, it can become a hassle. Consider draping it lightly over your shoulders or using it as a veil during the ceremony. After that, you can remove it or have someone hold it for you. This way, you can enjoy the beauty of the dupatta without being weighed down by it throughout the day.
7. Opt for Light Jewelry
Bridal jewellery is undoubtedly a statement piece, but in the summer, heavy jewelry can feel uncomfortable. Consider opting for lighter jewelry options like statement earrings and a delicate maang tikka. This will not only keep you comfortable but also enhance your overall summer bridal look.
8. Footwear Choice
Don't forget about your footwear! High heels may look stunning, but they can be torturous in the heat. Opt for comfortable and breathable footwear like juttis or sandals. You can always switch to heels for the reception if you wish.
9. Stay Hydrated
Last but not least, stay hydrated throughout your big day. The heat can be draining, so make sure to drink plenty of water to keep yourself energized and looking fresh.
Conclusion
Choosing the perfect Summer Bridal Lehenga for Wedding for a sizzling summer wedding requires careful consideration of fabrics, colors, and designs. By prioritizing comfort while not compromising on style, you can enjoy your special day to the fullest and look stunning in your chosen attire. So, go ahead and embrace the summer vibes as you embark on this beautiful journey of love and togetherness.
