She quickly became N51D, N512 and N129H before travelling South to Argentina in April 1961 and becoming LV-PCV with Servicios Aereos Santa Isabel. In July 1961 she was registered as LV-GYP to the Ford Motor Company and converted to an executive configuration. She remained with Ford until March 1975 when she moved back to the United States as N4565L. In October 1984 she was registered to the Hibernian Dakota Flight in Ireland, appearing at the 1985 International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford as part of the 50th Anniversary celebrations for the DC3. She flew to Ipswich for film work in October 1986 but was damaged by gales in October 1987 and has never flown since. In March 1995 she was dismantled and moved to Parham Airfield for the 390th Bomb Group Memorial Air Museum. The proposed hangar there never happened and in August 2003 she made the move to Doncaster, where she is yet to be reassembled. Actor Riteish Deshmukh and Sairat director Nagraj Manjule are coming together for another interesting project. The duo made an announcement on Wednesday that they are currently working on a multilingual trilogy on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. They announced it on his 390th birth anniversary. It will be produced by Riteish Deshmukh’s production - Mumbai Film Company.

Riteish took to Twitter to share a teaser of the announcement. He wrote, “Proud to present. Seeking your blessings, Jay Shivray."

Along with Najraj, his Sairat music composers Ajay-Atul are also part of the upcoming trilogy.

On the work front, Riteish Deshmukh is gearing up for the release of Baaghi 3 starring alongside Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor and Ankita Lokhande. The film, directed by Ahmed Khan, is releasing on March 6.

On the other hand, Najraj Manjule has directed by Amitabh Bachchan starrer Jhund that is scheduled for May 8, 2020, release.

World War II Anniversary – a highly important holiday for Armenia

A pandemic spreads fear and discord, but holidays remain holidays. In conditions of unlimited free time in the self-isolation mode, holidays acquire value not only as a long-awaited weekend, but also they acquire special significance, giving hope for a bright future. It is especially true of the upcoming celebration of the anniversary of the Great Patriotic War Victory, that is able to give a sense of unity even in the conditions of the "social distance" regime to the peoples who accomplished the feat, which is rooted in historical memory. Among all the peoples of the former multinational Union, Armenia pays special attention to the importance of preserving memory and preventing a new war.

On the eve of the celebration of a significant anniversary, the youth of Armenia remotely organize scientific, cultural, public, educational projects, events and conferences, concerts and exhibitions, and carry out work on monitoring the restoration of monuments. The main role in preparing for the events was assigned to the Coordination Council of Public and Youth Organizations of Armenia “Victory Council”.

On May 9, the Armenian people honor the memory of hundreds of thousands of their sons, who during the Second World War fought against fascism in the ranks of the armed forces of the Soviet Union and allies.

Among the Armenian heroes of the Second World War are Marshals Hovhannes Baghramyan, Amazasp Babadzhanyan and Sergey Khudyakov (Khanferyants), Admiral Isakov, the legendary Soviet aircraft designer Artem Mikoyan.

Armenian soldiers served in many branches of the Red Army: in the infantry, armored forces, aviation, artillery, the navy, in the border, rear and sanitary units. Among the Armenian soldiers there were both ordinary soldiers and commanders of all degrees, up to the commanders of divisions, corps and armies.

Of the Armenian soldiers, 6 combined arms divisions were formed:

76th to them. K. Voroshilova (created back in September 1922); 408th, 409th, 89th, 390th and 261st. Many Armenians fought in the ranks of the 31st, 61st and 320th rifle divisions, in the 28th and 38th reserve brigades and divisions. The leadership of Armenia equipped and supplied these military units with everything necessary.

“In the victory over fascism, the Armenians, beginning with the rank-and-file and ending with the marshal, immortalized their names with the unfading glory of courageous warriors,” these words belong to the outstanding Soviet commander Georgy Zhukov.

The legendary commander, as you know, did not throw words into the wind. The Armenian people, together with other peoples of the Soviet Union, fought bravely and defeated Hitler Germany. So the people who are famous for the whole world for their strength of spirit will overcome the attack of the coronavirus with honor and dignity.
