bq25185 + TPS61023 = USB or Solar lipoly with 5V output 🔋☀️🔌
We spent the weekend tweaking our bq25185
https://www.digikey.com/short/8hd2778w
designs and made one basic breakout for this flexible battery charging chip. Then, we made a board with a 3.3V buck output to charge the battery with a USB or solar panel and got a clean and consistent 3.3V out. With both of those working, here's a design for a version that has a 5V booster with the TPS61023
, which gives a nice clean 1A with a small bill of materials. Now you can use USB, DC, or solar to charge your favorite lipoly or liion chip and get 5V output. Maybe we'll make a version that can handle 3.6V LiFePO4 batteries, too? It's easy to set the bq to handle those by changing a single resistor.

Ronald Stein - destroyed the entire renewable energy agenda in just 60 seconds.
Ronald advocates that energy literacy starts with conversations and the knowledge that renewable energy is only intermittent electricity generated from unreliable breezes and sunshine. He argues that wind turbines and solar panels cannot manufacture anything for humanity, while fossil fuels manufacture everything for the 8 billion on this earth.

Spark Plug To Electric Plug
Electric and Hybrid Engines to Save the Environment
As the world grapples with the pressing challenges of climate change and environmental degradation, the need for sustainable transportation solutions has never been more critical. Electric and hybrid engines are emerging as vital alternatives to traditional gasoline and diesel vehicles, offering a path towards a greener future.
One of the most significant benefits of electric and hybrid vehicles is their potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Conventional vehicles contribute heavily to air pollution, releasing carbon dioxide and other harmful pollutants into the atmosphere. In contrast, electric vehicles (EVs) produce zero tailpipe emissions, while hybrids use a combination of electric power and traditional fuel, significantly lowering overall emissions. This shift not only helps combat climate change but also improves air quality, making our cities healthier places to live.
Furthermore, the advancement of EV technology is making these vehicles more accessible and efficient. With increasing investments in charging infrastructure and battery technology, electric and hybrid engines are becoming more practical for everyday use. As consumers become more aware of their environmental impact, the demand for these eco-friendly vehicles continues to rise, prompting automakers to innovate and expand their green offerings.
In conclusion, transitioning to electric and hybrid engines is essential for protecting our environment. By reducing emissions and promoting sustainable practices, these vehicles play a crucial role in the fight against climate change, paving the way for a cleaner, healthier planet for future generations. Embracing this change is not just a choice; it's a necessity for a sustainable future.

Now in this post we will see, why it is unique and why it can be a great addition to your home or business.
What is a Batteryless Solar Hybrid Inverter?
If most solar inverters feature batteries to stored power, then the Batteryless Solar Hybrid Inverter does not. It uses light directly, producing power during the day which is used to power appliances during the day. It does this in the same manner that regular inverters do, drawing from the grid during instances where the sun is not available and ensuring you have an un-interrupted power supply.

Description of the Batteryless Solar Hybrid Inverter by EnerTech UPS
Cost Savings: The batteries are usually one of the most expensive components of a solar installation setup needed to store the energy. The removal of those services is made possible through EnerTech UPS hence lowering the cost of acquiring solar power at a first instance.
Low Maintenance: Batteries generally require servicing and may also be costly to get replaced. As previously said, if there are no batteries required, the inverter requires very minimal maintenance thus the easier and less expensive device to own.
Better Efficiency: In a batteryless system, energy goes directly to appliances the result being minimal energy loss. This means that you maximize returns, on the solar panel investment that you made.
Eco-Friendly: Batteries are made of materials that requires substantial amount of resource when produced and disposed. This inverter being battery-free make things easier going green therefore can be stated to meet the eco goals.
Seamless Switching with the Grid: In times when solar power is not obtainable, the inverter quickly directs the energy prevails to the grid power. This is not going to happen; and the best is that the consumer will not notice anything, apart from a power supply that is never going to fail again.
Reasons why a batteryless inverter will be good for you
1. Lower Costs All Around
Batteries where lumped in and setup was easier and cheaper without them. First, solar power is more affordable than most people think since you reduce on cost of purchasing the equipment and its installation.
2. Saves Space
Batteries are usually large in size. If not for them, you can harness the power of the sun and you don’t necessarily need an area where you can install a storage facility.
3. Long-Lasting and Reliable
Other expenses, like battery replacement, have to be incurred, although batteries do have a finite life-cycle, and need to be replaced every few years. Instead of those replacements batteryless is the system which give more enduring and less complicated and refined.
4. Flexible for Future Growth
However, if there is a change in your needs for energy, you can always incorporate more solar panels to this issues. That way, there’s no need to constantly adapt to battery capacity, making it perfect for increasing energy requirements.
Is This Inverter Right for You?
This makes Batteryless Solar Hybrid Inverter from EnerTech UPS perfect for you, especially if you need an easy, universal and cost-effective way to go solar. This is good for people living in sunny-some areas for instance California and who would like to avoid large utility bills during the day. Still, if you plan to be completely ‘off grid’ or simply require electric power for night use, the battery backed system may still be the best way.
Why Choose EnerTech UPS?
It’s known for its excellent quality products with a very robust structure and customer-oriented services. Their Batteryless Solar Hybrid Inverter is durable and aims to bring solar electricity to the ordinary people out there.
Conclusion
The concept of using solar energy doesn’t have to perfect been portrayed as a difficult one, or even an expensive one. Starting Over Shaina Tranquilino August 11, 2024
Tumblr media
After his tech startup collapsed, leaving him with empty pockets and a bruised ego, Max Sullivan wasn’t sure what to do next. The failure had been public and humiliating—what was supposed to revolutionize the industry had barely left a mark. The pressure to deliver on grand promises had led to risky decisions, and when the funding dried up, so did his dreams.
Max retreated to his small, coastal hometown, a place he hadn’t visited since he left for Silicon Valley over a decade ago. The town had changed little, its sleepy streets and familiar faces offering a stark contrast to the fast-paced world he had left behind. At first, it was meant to be a temporary stay—a place to lick his wounds and figure out his next move. But as the days turned into weeks, Max found himself drawn to the simplicity of life there, the way people cared about their community and the environment.
It was during a walk along the beach, watching the waves roll in under a gray sky, that inspiration struck. Max noticed the plastic litter scattered along the shore, tangled in the seaweed, and remembered a conversation he’d overheard in a café a few days earlier about the town’s struggles with waste management. The idea hit him like a lightning bolt: what if he could combine his tech expertise with a focus on sustainability? What if he could create something small, something meaningful, right here?
Max started small, with just a single product—a solar-powered, autonomous beach-cleaning robot. He used his savings to build a prototype, working out of his parents’ garage like he had when he was a teenager. The robot, affectionately named “Sunny,” was designed to sift through sand, collecting debris and sorting it for recycling. It was a modest project, far from the grand ventures of his past, but it felt right.
When Max introduced Sunny to the town, the response was immediate. Locals were intrigued, then excited. They watched as the little robot roved the beaches, quietly doing its job, and the impact was undeniable. The beaches became cleaner, and people started talking about how they could do more to protect their environment. Max was invited to speak at the town hall, where he shared his vision for a line of eco-friendly, tech-driven solutions that could be scaled for other communities.
Word spread beyond the town’s borders. A regional news outlet picked up the story, dubbing Max the “Green Innovator,” and soon, he was fielding calls from environmental groups, local governments, and even some investors who saw potential in his small venture. Max was careful this time, determined not to repeat the mistakes of his past. He kept the business lean, focusing on quality and sustainability over rapid growth.
As orders for Sunny rolled in from other coastal towns, Max expanded his product line—solar-powered compost bins, smart irrigation systems for community gardens, and even a portable desalination unit for areas affected by water shortages. Each new product was born from the same principle: technology should serve the planet, not exploit it.
Within a year, Max’s new venture, “EcoTech,” was not just surviving but thriving. It wasn’t the billion-dollar empire he once dreamed of, but it was something better—something he was proud of. Max had found success, not in the way he had expected, but in a way that felt deeply fulfilling. The community rallied around him, and EcoTech became a symbol of what was possible when innovation met purpose.
Max still walked along the beach most evenings, watching the sunset with Sunny humming along beside him. He had learned that setbacks weren’t the end; they were just the beginning of a new path. And this path, though winding and unexpected, had led him to a place where he could truly make a difference.
