will it ever be enough? when someone loves you, you feel something curl inside of you, sour and whiplike, angry at being unheard. they don't really love you, they love this facsimile you have ensconced in your rabbit body. they will chop up the bits of you looking for luck and never find the good soul you promise - their love slides off. you're viscera; you have spent a lifetime promising the blood is art.

oh but when someone hates you - well, they're right to. and you'd trip over your little grassknot legs for them. begging them to reconsider. you feel it all knifeedge, spinepoint straight through you. they're the ones who see the real you, after all; and if they can love you, you might finally feel worth something.

but if they do love you in the end, after all of that, after your heart like a fawn opens to gutter under them - you've fooled them, and it isn't worth anything anymore. they've just gone and fallen for it. the love slides right off.

once, you heard a line in a musical about being abandoned. you laughed at the time, unnerved. your voice a keen; too shaky to be candid.

will it ever be enough. will the love ever diffuse through your skin and sink into your marrow. are you even capable of feeling that - of feeling cared for - or are you still waiting, even right now, for the hunter to draw the bow and arrow. if you trust that love, even once, and are wrong, you know exactly what will happen.

and somehow you know - you'll never be able to fix that, once it's been broken.

Do you think in the "Out of Tears" video the cameras just happened to be rolling when Charlie went in the telephone booth to call Shirley and ask her to come pick him up from this bloody music video set and then captured his disappointment when he realized it was just a prop? I do.

#watching the old music videos #especially from 1990-7 #really makes you realize how far they’ve fallen in that department #they’re so much fun and so interesting to watch b/c they manage to incorporate interesting cinematography and motifs/plots #with having the band themselves participate #some of them are completely psychotic (looking at you ‘Sex Drive’ and ‘I Go Wild’)#but none of them are boring or lacking something creative and worth seeing #and they used genuinely talented and recognized film people on the projects #I’m not saying it’s a completely Hackney Diamonds era issue #b/c most of the music videos for A Bigger Bang and the handful of singles that came out after it #aren’t that great or special either #but the two HD music videos are particularly boring and atrocious #one naked (no pun intended) appeal to the male gaze and one boring misogynistic 4 minute trope #it’s crazy that the videos they were making 30 years ago were edgier and more subversive than what they do now #yet also on track for what a piece of corporate mechanized mall music garbage that album is #the rolling stones #charlie watts #ask response #anonymous #gifset #gif set

I think 1 way we can improve the therapy services in hospitals, is to have actual therapists in the hospitals too.

i’ve had a headache since i left the airport yesterday and i thought maybe it would go away while i was asleep but it did not. hoping it will go away when i drink some coffee because if not i guess i’ll just have to live like this until i die

#i think going to maine fixed my sleep schedule also which is so funny because i tried like every night to fix it the week before i left and #failed/gave up.#but then i had set a 7:30 alarm every day while there but every day i woke up before it went off #i think it’s because the sun comes up so early in maine. 4:30am no joke #yesterday i woke up and there was sunlight streaming in through the curtain gap and i looked at the time. 4:58am. ummmm.no #and the weather…please 65 degrees again please please you’re nothing #got off the plane in charlotte and even walking through the jet bridge it was walter white falling.gif. like 90 degrees or something #but at least my flight landed like 30 minutes early somehow.

i wish i was good at arts so i could have a reason to stay at home and draw all day

#if i was good at it id prob do it for income #cuz gods working customer service is fucking killing me #it doesn't help that at least half of my day is dedicated solely to work related shit on the days that i have to go #i wake up at 6 then get ready really quickly so i can get on the bus at 7 so i can be at work by 8 #which is AT LEAST a half hour bus ride #then work from 8am to 4:30pm and have to wait another 15 minutes minimum for the bus to go home #then i get home at like 5:30 and barely have the motivation to make food before i should be going to sleep #trying to do any of my hobbies during my work week feels pointless #cuz i dont have much time to do that and feed myself and get ready for the next day and give myself time to actually wind down from the day #at least i feel like i don't #and on the weekends i just rot in bed cuz i have no motivation to do much of anything else aside from *maybe* play something #accidental whole ass vent post my b #my head hurts #ira speaks

I say this as someone with mental health issues that make it really easy to get off track in conversations but please stop giving service workers essays of context for your requests.

90% of the time we do not care. Just ask us if we have what you want. Your child's birthday is not my problem, but checking if we have the candy in the shape of the numbers you need is.

Taking the bus when ur someone who is incapable of leaving with more than a minimum amount of time to get somewhere is such a fun gamble

#the fun part is that it’s the campus bus so it’s 8 minute walk from my door to the stop #and then I’m only on the bus for like 4 minutes #but that cuts 15 minutes of walking up hill #BUT it’s an electric bus and the charging station is also at the bus stop I get on at #so I never know if we’re gonna be parked for 7-12 minutes #i try to give myself 30 minutes to get to campus bc that also means I can walk if I really really missed the bus #they are not on a schedule at all and the app doesn’t tell you when they’re gonna charge
