The Elseworlds Batman: Digital Justice one-shot was published with a pull date of April 1990. The computer generated comic, a novelty at the time, took place in the 21st century. In order to fight the Joker virus developed decades before by the Joker, James Gordon II (grandson of James Gordon) became the new Batman. He was aided by the Batcomp, Bobby Chang as the new Robin, and a robot version of Alfred. Gata, clone of Mayer Madame X, became the new Catwoman. The characters were created by Pepe Morino Casaras and Doug Murray. ("Batman: Digital Justice" DC Comic Event)

#but. like seriously. has anyone else noticed how so much music is getting less and less... human?#like it contains fewer mistakes; less 'air'; you don't hear the singer taking a breath in the pauses...#(why not? why not? what's wrong with BREATHING for god's sake?!?)#...almost every track is patched together from multiple takes in order to sound more 'perfect' (more inhuman)#rather than doing something live and accepting minor flaws as part and parcel of it all#so many melody lines (vox; instruments; etc.) are repeated identically over and over and over again. copy-and-pasted.#rather than containing natural organic variation#and don't get me started on the autotune and other effects on vocals to make them sound less natural and more robotic#like... do most folks genuinely find this more attractive?#am i the outlier here for preferring music that sounds like it was made by real human beings?#and so much of 'music' is about the production rather than the actual music itself#i keep wondering... how many self-professed 'musicians' these days#wouldn't be able to perform one of their own songs around a campfire unprepared#because they don't have any machines available to make the sounds for them#(and anyone who knows me knows i'm not inherently against 'machine-made music')#(i quite enjoy it sometimes. for what it is)#(but it feels to me like nowadays almost EVERY genre is more digitized and robotic than it used to be)#(moving further and further away from the heart-touching messiness of real humanity)#anyway. i listened to music in a whole bunch of different genres tonight#(pop; alt-country; alt-rock; neofolk; west coast rap; shoegaze; indie rock; folk-pop; electro-thrash; jazz fusion; doom metal; etc.)#and all of it. literally ALL of it. was airless and soulless and inhuman and made me sad#i just don't get it. i feel alienated from my contemporaries i guess. for not preferring this sound#anywayyyyy ignore me. i just get sad sometimes and need to vent. it is my own blog after all#i was not made for these times#(a line from one of the few 21st-century songs that Gets me)#cosmo gyres#o hear my sad complaint#personal#musicblogging#tag rant

The problem with modern science fiction is that soooo much of it is built around the concept that technology is inherently evil, isolating, and brain numbing. You can see these themes as far back as the 1940s-1960s with telephones, radios, typewriters, etc. Hell, I bet it dates back to the Victorian era and the creation of the genre. Horror stories predate sci-fi so it could go all the way back to the invention of movable type. But the thing is, instead of “smart phones will turn us into mindless drones,” we could he exploring really cool themes. Like, the Mars Rover sings to itself. So, why is there no post human extinction book about the very last surviving robot who’s terrified because it is left all alone and comforts itself by singing to itself? Why are we not telling more stories about a society where we automatically accommodate the disabled with cool cyberpunk style accessibility tools, artificial limbs, etc. I don’t want more fictional stories about people dying because they can’t afford water or medication in the post apocalyptic society since that’s already happening right now. I want a futuristic mystery where the hero uses social media to track down and stop the killer/protect potential victims. *sigh* rant over.

From Blocks to Bots – Why Robotics is the Future for Kids in Mumbai
In a world that's becoming increasingly tech-driven, preparing kids for the future doesn't just mean sending them to school—it means equipping them with the tools of tomorrow. One of the most exciting and rapidly growing fields for children today is robotics and coding.
Whether you're in Mumbai or anywhere else in India, robotics courses for kids are gaining serious popularity. And it's not just a trend—it's a movement. Let's explore why more parents enrol their children in robotics classes and how platforms like Technobotics make this journey fun and educational.

Why Robotics for Kids?
Kids are naturally curious, creative, and eager to build things. Robotics taps directly into these instincts. It allows them to play and learn simultaneously—building machines, writing simple programs, and watching their creations come to life.
Most robotics courses begin with block-based coding (like Scratch), which uses visual programming to teach logical thinking. As kids progress, they move to text-based coding languages like Python or C++, which are used in actual tech careers.
Benefits of Robotics Classes
Builds 21st-Century Skills: Robotics and coding help children develop problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity.
Encourages Logical Thinking: Writing code teaches children to think step-by-step and troubleshoot their errors.
Promotes Teamwork: Many robotics classes include group projects or competitions, fostering collaboration.
Bridges Theory and Practice: Kids apply what they learn in math and science to real-world situations.
Future Bots: Learning Today for Tomorrow's World
Future bots aren't just science fiction—they're being created by young minds in classrooms and coding labs across Mumbai. At institutes like Technobotics, students learn how to program and build robots that can respond to sensors, move autonomously, and complete tasks. These are more than toys—they are the foundation of automation, artificial intelligence, and innovation.
Why Mumbai Parents Are Choosing Robotics Courses
Robotics courses in Mumbai are thriving due to a supportive tech environment, excellent learning centres, and a growing awareness of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education. Parents want their kids not just to consume technology but create it.
Centres like Technobotics design programs specifically for school-going children, breaking difficult concepts into age-appropriate modules. From the basics of coding to hands-on robotics kits, kids are encouraged to learn by doing.
Choosing the Right Robotics Class
Look for these features when picking a coding or robotics course for your child:
A well-structured curriculum that progresses from blocks to text
Experienced instructors who can work with different learning speeds
Hands-on kits and real-time projects
Certifications or participation in robotics competitions
Positive reviews and active community engagement
Final Thoughts
As the digital world evolves, so must the way we teach our kids. Robotics is no longer reserved for engineers or scientists—it's becoming essential to childhood education.
If you're a parent looking to future-proof your child's skills, consider enrolling them in a robotics course in Mumbai. The sooner they start building their future bots, the brighter that future will be.
Let your child code, create, and innovate—because the future is theirs to build.

"What if Jenny Wakeman sang 21st Century Girl?" by me.
In the context of this song, I feel it could perfectly describe Jenny's daring behavior (assuming she had that type of personality in the show). I don't know if it would be a love song, but it definitely describes Jenny to a T both inside and out.

NASA rovers and landers such as Spirit, Opportunity, Curiosity, and Perseverance have captured images of Martian sunsets. These photos are possible thanks to cameras equipped on these robotic explorers, which are capable of surviving and operating on the Martian surface.
In 2005, NASA’s Spirit rover took the first color images of a Martian sunset.
These sunsets appear blue near the Sun and reddish farther away — the opposite of Earth — due to the way Martian dust scatters sunlight in the thin atmosphere.
Humans have wondered about the skies of other planets for millennia, but only in the 21st century have we gained the technology to literally see what a sunset looks like on another world.
This makes our generation the first to witness something that was once purely science fiction.
