Devil in Her Heart (Hell's Heroes Book One) - Chapter One (on Wattpad) https://www.wattpad.com/1467970998-devil-in-her-heart-hell%27s-heroes-book-one-chapter?utm_source=web&utm_medium=tumblr&utm_content=share_reading&wp_uname=AuthorLibrarianRS Life prepared Hesper Bray for many different experiences; it had not prepared her for the sight of a golden-winged creature storming the Pearly Gates while an army of terrified children clung to the skirts of their ballroom gown. As it turns out, the golden-winged creature is none other than Lucifer, who turns out to be more of a kindly angel than a literal devil. Lucifer and Hesper embark on an epic journey through multiple afterlife realms in search of a missing god, while also trying to right the wrongs done by the other angels in Heaven. Together these two learn people (and angels) are not always what people expect them to be and learn valuable lessons about found family, positive self-talk, and the power of belief.

Whatever happens, two things remain true: 1. Trump might be distancing himself from Project 2025, but his Agenda 47, which is on his website, is basically the same thing. 2. Third party voting is useless without ranked choice voting; it's mathematically impossible to elect a third party candidate. DO NOT SPLIT THE VOTE.

Technically he just told the republicans not to be overtly racist. He's still okay with the wink, wink nudge, nudge type racism we all know and hate.

KOSA update 7/25/24:
Well, unsurprisingly, KOSA passed the Senate procedural vote 86-1.
Proof:
Again, they still have to vote on the final passage & the House still has to vote on it as well.
So, focus on your House Representative now; Continue to call them & tell them to vote ‘No’ to KOSA. Remember: There is more opposition to KOSA in the House.
Spread this around. Don’t panic!
Keep calm & keep fighting!!

The problem with modern science fiction is that soooo much of it is built around the concept that technology is inherently evil, isolating, and brain numbing. You can see these themes as far back as the 1940s-1960s with telephones, radios, typewriters, etc. Hell, I bet it dates back to the Victorian era and the creation of the genre. Horror stories predate sci-fi so it could go all the way back to the invention of movable type. But the thing is, instead of “smart phones will turn us into mindless drones,” we could he exploring really cool themes. Like, the Mars Rover sings to itself. So, why is there no post human extinction book about the very last surviving robot who’s terrified because it is left all alone and comforts itself by singing to itself? Why are we not telling more stories about a society where we automatically accommodate the disabled with cool cyberpunk style accessibility tools, artificial limbs, etc. I don’t want more fictional stories about people dying because they can’t afford water or medication in the post apocalyptic society since that’s already happening right now. I want a futuristic mystery where the hero uses social media to track down and stop the killer/protect potential victims. *sigh* rant over.

Unfortunately, I’ve had to delete this post - normally, getting the few odd reblogs from clear transphobes or bullies would be easily dealt with via the block button, and I didn’t want to let them win, but the post basically got hijacked by people bullying DT for his weight, with constant transphobic tags that were just making it hard to look at my notes. I woke up to 600+ notes from this post alone and I just thought it best if it were removed, to stop the hatred getting spread further and further. Sickens me that there’s people out there that just want to spread vile nonsense, especially towards someone as genuine and down to earth as DT.

This just made it Very Likely that Trump will win.
It will spike his turnout.
It will revive his support from centrists.
You hate that prospect? You have to vote.

New queer scifi book. It's pretty gay, very depressing, and a roller coaster of emotions. Just like me LOL

The Pizza "Man"
My coworker just stepped out of the story room and said, "Have you seen the book 'Hi, Pizza Man' and I had to use every ounce of self-restraint in my body not to laugh because it turns out that is an actual children's book title.
