Dust

There are cracks everywhere. Cracked paint from the temblors, cracked lips from the heat, the dryness. Cracks in the window kept shut against the exhaust, the dust accumulating in a thin invisible film that becomes a gray fur upon touch. It lodges, it piles, it burrows. Everything turns to dust.

オッペンハイマー観た。内容が内容なので途中苛ついた(映画の出来に苛ついたのではなく、あの物語観たら苛つくというか、この物語さえな���れば、なければ、、、)が、3時間みっしりしていた。

主演のキリアン・マーフィが一時期好きで、何本か出演作を観ているのだが、改めてほんとうに、ほんとうにお芝居良くてカッコ良くて、正直メロメロになった。だからあんまちゃんと観れてないかも、ほぼずっとキリアン出てるから、顔………という感情もあったから……。

日本の量子力学者で朝永振一郎さんという方で科学者の社会的な責任について書いてる方の文章を少しだけ読んだことがあり、そのとき興味を持ったのに読まなかった『プロメテウスの火』という、科学者の罪について書いてあるという本を読もうかと数年ぶりに思い出した。プロメテウスの火、という言葉がそのまま映画にも登場していた。

For those who were wondering, Phil confirmed in his early birb stream this morning that Chayanne is NOT intended to be a glass child.

He is, according to Phil, a character who is very strong, with big protective energy but who does occasionally need a helping hand (paraphrasing).

Most importantly:

Chayanne’s admin is NOT playing the character as a glass child.

Once again, Phil/Chayanne’s admin did not intend for the character to be interpreted this way, but there is evidence that supports the theory and it is a perfectly valid interpretation. But it was NOT the intention.
