Duckvember Day 11: Mechanical Duck

Little B.O.Y.D. has had some minor glitches in his system. But kind and sweet Lyla Lay has decided to help him, after all she is a very advanced android.

But nothing is free in this life. So in exchange for helping him, she hopes that the sweet boy will actually give her the location of the famous hero: Duck Avenger (Paperinik).

I need to be able to read more of the Ducks' comics, they have some amazing universes. Especially the super hero version of Donald.

It’s so funny to me how of the very little creep fan content out there, it’s always centered around Aaron and ‘Josef’ and not ‘Josef’ and Sara because I thought everyone just collectively agreed that Aaron was actually a pretty boring victim IN COMPARISON to Sara, the Sara/Aaron dynamic is just so much more interesting.

“Oh but Josef loved Aaron!” He is also extremely unreliable and a pathological liar 😭😭. There’s an argument that he loved both Sara AND Aaron but the key difference between the two in my opinion is that in the original Creep it is almost entirely from Aaron’s perspective, it’s hard to know to what capacity he actually loved Aaron. However in Creep 2 most of the insight we get into Josef’s feelings for Sara are through what he does or says when he’s ALONE for his PERSONAL collection, and even then it’s so clear that his love for Sara is deeper than his love for Aaron. (I also use Love very liberally here because it’s debatable as to how or if Josef actually can love). The time Aaron is mentioned In Creep 2, Josef talks about him pretty nonchalantly simply referring to him as a “big softie” because honestly yeah. Compared to his relationship with Sara that’s really all he is.

Aaron is also just generally more 2 dimensional character compared to Sara. I LOVE Aaron and I think he is essential to the story, however he really only exists for us to become more interested in Josef. There’s not much to ask about him. Where Sara is almost as enigmatic as Josef.

So yeah it just always confuses me how most recent fan content just completely ignores Sara like noooo pleaaaseee they have such an interesting dynamic.

Adult Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck as astronauts as Apolo 11 Crew (Neil Armstrong, Edwin Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins) - Space Race - Ducktales 2017 - Ducktales in Space

Since I drew Donald Duck as Yuri Gagarin and Della Duck as Valentina Tereshkova as the first men in space, then the parallel of the first men on the moon could have something to do with Huey, Dewey and Louie from Ducktales 2017. And I drew the three of them as Apollo 11 astronauts who were the first to walk on the moon (allegedly), but here they are no longer children, but adults. I don't usually draw adult Huey, Dewey and Louie, so this is my first time doing it and I did it with the Ducktales 2017 version, but in my own style. Yes, I redraw the poses of astronauts Neil Armstrong, Edwin Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins who led the Apollo 11 crew in the Saturn V rocket from July 16 to July 24, 1969, with July 20 and 21 being Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walked on the moon and were the first people to walk on the moon and brought great pride to the USA and to all mankind.

And this is where Huey, Dewey and Louie grew up, playing the role of the Apollo 11 crew and who will be the first ducks to walk on the moon. Yes, although they are different, they all together have their tasks in space. Huey as an explorer of new unknown frontiers and a scientist, Dewey as a pilot and coordinator and Louie as a businessman who finances it all, but they are all astronauts together. Like like their mother and like their uncle. And they are in spacesuits (Apollo/Skylab spacesuit) which are mostly white, but I colored some parts according to them.

Also happy belated birthday to Huey, Dewey and Louie and may the guiding stars guide them to endless adventure and their destination! Hello everyone, first of all I want to wish all Canadians and Americans a happy independence day! Yes, it's July 1st for Canada and July 4th for Americans.

I would also say this for anyone who is interested. I want to organize something of my own. On the occasion of one year on Tumblr, on July 20th, I am organizing Moon Landing Day on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the first man walking on the Moon. It's a very important day for me, and a special one because I'm a space travel enthusiast myself. So everyone who is interested can draw some drawing, some video and photoshop and write fanfiction related to your favorite characters from cartoons, series, movies, video games, literature and other works. Just one topic, but it has to be:

• Must be related to traveling to the moon and Moon Landing. The moon and the stars must be included.

• That one or more characters wear spacesuits. Feel free to invent your version of the space suits you want.

• And no NSFW or any fetishes, pedophilia, zoophilia and incest and other nastiness, please, because that's disgusting. Otherwise, if you do, I'll block you.

• OC and OCs may be included.

• Tag me with my blog name so I know as I am the organizer of this contest as @ducksinspaceadventure

And this is just for fun and all you space travel lovers out there. 😄
