I maintain that the worst birthday gift I’ve ever received was from my aunt and uncle who on the day of my birthday were driving me home and stopped at the local hallmark store while I was told to sit in the car and then when we arrived at my home presented me with a card, a tiny santa clause shaped chocolate bar and a little charm with a “P” on it as my gift, things that they so very clearly got from the hallmark store while I sat in the car

Only just remembered cause had so much stuff going on and... she's just been making a pile of trash in the kitchen instead of going through the mail, and she's going "oh I never saw them"
Fuck you, my fucking mistake for trusting you with anything. I should have known you're such an asshole you can't even open your own mail

first 10 hour day baby!!!!!!!!!!
#personal#damn i’m really gonna work 4 10s#everyone keeps telling me what a steal that is and honestly three day weekend after tomorrow is agreeing#but it’s a little intimidating#especially with the fact we’re supposed to take calls till the last minute#which could mean ur shift ends at 4 or maybe it ends at 6#so like accounting with travel my days are like. 11 to 12 hours and then if i get stuck on a call after word#i could realistically have 14 hour long work days mutiple days in a row#not saying that it would or that exact length maybe it’s ten minutes maybe it’s 3 you never know#but i did for the last 10 of my shift say okay. i’m peeing. and then oop last 3 minutes? computer update#but you know what even with today being like -bad- i walked out pretty chill#like sensory wise outside of the noise of people all talking loudly it’s pretty chill#i was so annoyed today cause i moved from my usual chair and desk and i had to deal with so much sunlight and an exposed back and oh my god#i got spoiled#i have a tiny but comfortable space mostly enclosed and i don’t have to be near or look at people im working with#and half the time during the job it’s literally me going like hey im gonna work on this for a bit so it might be silent on my end but if#you need anything i’m still listening! *silence while working for 45 minutes straight* *some of that is waiting for further assistance or#just waiting and scrolling ur phone and eating a snack*#like don’t get me wrong some calls are god awful. every sales rep and IT whatever the fuck that calls needs to kill themselevs#except skkyler he was amazing and my best friend#or oh god this fucking call today#i worked on it for like half an hour AFTER the call#i kept getting mixed messages at every level of this thing and oh my god i wanted to DIE#and this internal assistance guy on another call was so vauge i wanted to die.#i didn’t even want to transfer the call but after the fifth time of me jumping back at the customer with some shit i confirmed with him#he’s like oh yeah no the other one and when i’m like this one here thag im reading yes? do this? and hed be like yes then AGAIN it happens#but awesome the internal tech call where the guy just straight up was using the wrong app and wanted to check he had a camera#so fucking funny and i didn’t even tell him he realized right after i got his call
