10 TIPS DIET
Tumblr media
Here are 10 tips for a healthy diet:
Eat a variety of foods: Include different food groups such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats in your diet. This ensures that you get a wide range of nutrients.
Portion control: Pay attention to portion sizes and avoid overeating. Use smaller plates and bowls to help control portion sizes and prevent excessive calorie intake.
Eat more fruits and vegetables: These are nutrient-dense and low in calories. Aim to fill half of your plate with fruits and vegetables for each meal.
Choose whole grains: Opt for whole grains like brown rice, whole wheat bread, and quinoa instead of refined grains. Whole grains provide more fiber and nutrients.
Limit added sugars: Minimize your consumption of sugary drinks, sweets, and processed foods that are high in added sugars. Choose naturally sweet foods like fruits instead.
Reduce salt intake: High sodium intake can contribute to high blood pressure. Limit your consumption of processed foods and try using herbs and spices to season your meals instead of salt.
Include lean proteins: Choose lean sources of protein like poultry, fish, tofu, legumes, and beans. These are lower in saturated fat and provide essential nutrients.
Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Water is important for digestion, metabolism, and overall health. Avoid sugary beverages and opt for water as your primary choice of hydration.
Limit processed foods: Processed foods are often high in unhealthy fats, sodium, and added sugars. Try to cook meals from scratch using fresh ingredients whenever possible.
Practice mindful eating: Pay attention to your hunger and fullness cues. Eat slowly and savor each bite. This helps prevent overeating and allows you to enjoy your food more.
Remember, it's always a good idea to consult with a healthcare professional or a registered dietitian for personalized dietary advice based on your specific needs and goals.

Meet a fish with “human” teeth: the sheepshead (Archosargus probatocephalus)! This species can grow up to 30 in (0.8 m) long and weigh 22 lbs (10 kg). Inside its mouth, you'll find molars, incisors, and grinding teeth. These specialized chompers help it chow down on its omnivorous diet that includes crabs, clams, small fish, and plants. Its wide range spans from Nova Scotia to the southern Caribbean.

Investigating the Indian Bullfrog
Indian bullfrogs, also known as Hoplobatrachus tigerinus is a large species of frog native to India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. They are found in many types of freshwater habitat including wetlands, lakes, and urban ponds and rice paddies.
H. tigerinus is one of the larger frog species, weighing anywhere from 0.27 to 0.77 kg (0.6 to 1.7 lb) and measuring about 167 mm (6.60 in) in length; females tend to be larger than males. Outside the breeding season, males and females are virtually identical, with brown or olive green skin and a yellow stripe running down their back. During the breeding season males turn bright yellow, and their vocal sacs turn blue or purple. This bright coloration indicates to females that they're healthy and strong, and the brighter the color the more mates a male will attract.
Breeding for Indian bullfrogs occurs throughout the monsoon season, from July to November. Once they change color, males find a suitable watering hole and begin calling to attract females. After a female chooses a male, other males often attempt to climb on top of the mating pair and insert themselves into the pairing. Once she has finished with her selected mate, the female moves to a quiet area and attaches a clutch of up to 5,000 eggs to underwater vegetation. Several days later the eggs hatch, and tadpoles take several weeks to metamorphose into their adult form. Males reach full maturity in only 10 months, while females take up to two years. Individuals can live up to seven years in the wild.
Outside the mating season, H. tigerinus is nocturnal. They spend most of their time foraging in the leaf litter and brush surrounding their freshwater habitats. Their main diet consists of invertebrates like beetles, worms, and centipedes, and adults will also opportunistically feed on small mammals and birds. Tadpoles are primary predators of mosquito larvae. The main predators of adult Indian bullfrogs are snakes, especially the Asiatic water snake.
Conservation status: The IUCN has rated the Indian bullfrog as Least Concern. They are highly adaptable to urban environments. The species has been introduced in many countries outside its native range, including the Maldives and Madagascar, where it is considered an invasive species.

Animal of the Day!
Tasmanian Giant Crab (Pseudocarcinus gigas)
Tumblr media
(Photo in Public Domain)
Conservation Status- Unlisted
Habitat- Coastal Southern Australia
Size (Weight/Length)- 17 kg; 46 cm width
Diet- Carrion; Crustaceans; Starfish
Cool Facts- Being one of the heaviest species of crab, the Tasmanian giant crab is the apex of its environment. These crabs live a slow life due to their size. They eat as many bottom dwellers as they can, helping to build up their extremely thick carapace. Despite being relatively slow, they can slam their giant claws with enough force to crack open mussels and other crabs. Once every nine years, Tasmanian giant crabs molt their carapace and can be threatened by large species of sharks and seals. People see the crabs as a delicacy, but their harvest is carefully regulated and only specific sizes can be gathered.  When a crab has enough strength to snip off a finger like a carrot, I salute anyone who gets within pinching distance.
Rating- 12/10 (Carcinization at its finest.)

Wet Beast Wednesday: red-bellied piranha
For today's Wet Beast Wednesday, I'm discussing probably the most slandered of all bony fish: the red-bellied piranha. Be honest, when you hear piranha what comes to mind? I'd be willing to bet you thought of roving hordes of hyper-predatory fish that devour everything they find in minutes. Well that's not how red-bellied piranhas (or any piranhas for that matter) act. You've been lied to by the media about these fascinating fish. I'm here to correct the record.
Tumblr media
(Image: a red-bellied piranha. It is a laterally flattened, round fish with a blunt head and prominent lips. It is a dark gray color with silver flecks and a bright red underbelly. End ID)
The red-bellied piranha (Pygocentrus nattereri) is the most well-known of the piranhas and is the species you think of when you think piranha. They are medium fish, growing to an average of 35 cm (14 in) long and 1.8 kg (4 lbs),maxing out at 50 cm (20 in) and 3.9 kg (8.6 lbs). They have round bodies flatted on the sides and gray to black scales with red underbellies and occasional black spots. Famously, they have large, sharp, interlocking teeth set in strong jaws that are usually covered by thick lips. Piranha lose and replace their teeth throughout their lives.Red-bellied piranhas are often confused with other species of piranha or the closely-related red-bellied pacu, whose juveniles have a similar coloration. As pacu and piranha have similar body shapes, an easy way to tell them apart is the teeth. Piranha have sharp teeth while pacu have blunt teeth.
Tumblr media
(image: a close-up of a red-bellied piranha showing the teeth, which are large, triangular, and very sharp. End ID)
With teeth like those it's not surprising that piranhas eat meat. What may surprise you is that they also eat plants. In fact, plants, including seeds and fruits, make up a large portion of their diet. When they do eat meat, they prefer to scavenge or go after small animals like small fish, worms and other invertebrates. They will also opportunistically nip off fins or scales from other fish. This isn't unusual for piranhas. All species eat plants and some are exclusively herbivorous. Red-bellies eat so much carrion that they are comparable to vultures. Both animals help control disease, clean their environments, and recycle nutrients. When Piranha do attack large animals, it is usually in times of hunger or because the animal is injured. Red-bellied piranha do not hunt in packs, but they will rarely engage in feeding frenzies that let them take down animals as large as capybaras. Red-bellies shoal not for hunting, but for protection against their own predators, which include caimen, river dolphins, larger fish, and various birds. Shoals can grow to be hundreds strong. During the wet season, when the rainforests flood, piranha will spread out through the floodlands and primarily browse on vegetation. During the dry season, when their range contracts, the reduced amount of food leads to higher rates of carnivory. Piranha communicate with each other through displays of aggression and drumming sounds produced with the swim bladder.
Tumblr media
(Image: a small group of red-bellied piranha. End ID)
Red-bellied piranha mate during the wet season, during which time their red bellies will turn gray. Males will dig shallow nests in sandy bottoms where grass grows and attemptp to woo females with swimming displays. When a female selects a male, the two will swim together in a nuptial display. The female then lays her eggs on the grass for the male to fertilize. The parents will then guard the nest until the eggs hatch after a few days. Larvae and juveniles hide amongst plants until they are large enough to join a shoal. In addition, younger piranha tend to feed during the day while older and larger ones shit to feeding mostly in the morning and evening. Piranha can live for over 10 years.
Tumblr media
(Image: a juvenile red-bellied piranha. It has the same body shape as the adult, but its coloration is different. Its body is silver all over with black spots and the anal fin is red. End ID)
Red-bellied Piranha have not been classified by the IUCN, but they are considered abundant in their natural range and have been introduced outside of their range, often as a result of people releasing exotic pets. Several places, including the Philippines, restrict their import to avoid them becoming invasive species. Piranha have become popular as exotic pets, though they have some specific care requirements. Piranha are a common food fish in their native range. Piranha attacks on humans are rare and usually happen when the piranha are hungry or the humans are disturbing them. Few fatal attacks have been recorded and even those numbers may be inflated as bodies that piranha have scavenged may have been mistaken for kills. The reputation of piranha as savage predators has been traced to an expedition to the Amazon by former US president Teddy Roosevelt where he reported a story that some native peoples herded a cow into the water and it was devoured in minutes. It was later found that the natives had used nets to capture and starve the piranha in advance to put on a better show. Roosevelt's report of the incident became very popular and has influenced the popular perception of piranha ever since.

From Glow-Ups to Dream Lives
Your ultimate inspiration to manifesting the life you’ve always imagined.
Welcome, sweetheart to the first drop of the It girl boutique’s collection ‘dolly tutorials’! Are you ready to turn your dream life into reality?
We’re not here for the ordinary. We’re here for the extraordinary.
────────────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────────────
So grab your favourite latte, settle in, and let’s get to it.
This isn’t just another manifestation post. This is the moment you claim the life you deserve. And trust me, it’s going to be fabulous.
────────────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────────────
1. Dream Face
We’ve all seen those before-and-after photos, but let’s get real—this transformation is all you. A year ago, I looked entirely different. Subliminals worked like a charm, and in no time, my face went from good to absolutely flawless. I manifested everything—from reshaping my nose, lips, and eyes, to clearing my skin (hyperpigmentation is a bitch). Now, i’m focusing on growing my hair. Get ready for an exclusive post on how to manifest your dream appearance, because yes, it's that easy.
2. Dream Body
I never had a specific body type in mind. What I did know was this: I wanted to lose some weight. The usual tricks—starving myself, restrictive diets— resulted in the yo-yo effect (ewwW). But then I had an epiphany: the law of assumption. Instead of restricting, I decided to affirm my dream body. No diets, no extreme workouts—just pure belief. I manifested losing 10 kg, effortlessly. 1kg a week - not too quick, but darling, it was worth it. Now, I’m living in my dream body and enjoying a healthier relationship with food. One of my most important manifesting journeys so far.
3. Academic Success – Part One
The dreaded GCSE results were close and I was convinced I had failed. Honestly, I wasn’t even interested in manifesting better grades—I had already given up. But one night, I listened to a single subliminal only three times and let go. No expectations. When the results came in, I was stunned. Straight As. An A*, and second-highest in English. Law of assumption saved my life fr.
4. Academic Success – Part Two
Music exam—knew I had guessed half of it. But you know what? this time i chose a different path. I acted like I had aced it. Pure confidence. And guess what? 98. That’s the power of subconscious manifesting. Act like you’ve already got it, and the universe will follow suit.
5. Aura
Manifesting your dream features is one thing. But the real glow-up is on the inside. Enter Jennifer Check—my favourite character, my icon. I didn’t tell anyone about my obsession for her, but somehow, at least 30 people have told me I resemble her. Not just in looks, but in that bold, unapologetic energy. this is also suchhh a confidence tip
6. My babygirl
Before I even knew about manifestation, I dreamed of having a dog. My parents are were heavily Anti-pet. But I didn’t let that stop me. I acted as though I already had one—talking to my invisible dog, even walking it in my head (this was when i was like 13). Eventually, they caved. subconscious manifesting.
7. Talents
Art— I was terrible at it. Terrible. But I made a decision: I would manifest artistic talent. Fast forward to now, and I’m one of the best artists in my class. Same with singing, dancing, and, of course, crocheting.
────────────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────────────
So what is the takeaway here?
Manifestation isn’t just a trend. It’s the key to unlocking your most authentic, fabulous life. It’s not about wishing or hoping—it’s about *knowing* you deserve everything that comes your way. Believe it. Affirm it. And let the universe deliver.
Now, go ahead and start manifesting your dream life

The @IsraelMOH will submit a report to the UN detailing the abuse endured by survivors of Hamas captivity.
Read this thread. Share this thread. The world must know just how evil these Hamas psychopaths are.
1️⃣ Women, men & children who returned reported that they endured severe physical & sexual abuse such as beatings, isolation, deprivation of food and water, branding, hair-pulling & sexual assault.
Some reported that the captors sexually assaulted them or forced them to undress.
2️⃣
The hostages were denied medical treatment for injuries caused on and after October 7, and untreated chronic conditions. Fractures, shrapnel wounds, and burns were treated inadequately, leading to preventable complications which required additional surgeries.
3️⃣
The captors tortured those injured by performing painful procedures without anesthesia.
4️⃣
Many hostages suffered from untreated chronic conditions leading to severe medical deterioration, such as low blood pressure, bradycardia & hypothermia.
1 hostage died from untreated complications. Several women required urgent treatment due to hypertension & hypothyroidism
5️⃣
Half the hostages were deliberately starved. Poor diets led to extreme hunger. They were kept in dark spaces, causing vitamin D deficiency. The average weight loss was 8-15 kg (10-17% of weight). Children lost an average of 10%. In one case a girl lost 18% of her body weight.
6️⃣
Poor nutrition may lead to Sarcopenia, delayed wound and fracture recovery, and a weakened immune system. Malnutrition also negatively impacted cognitive function and mental health, and as for children, it may hinder development and growth.
7️⃣
The captors attempted to improve some of the hostages' appearance and weight before their release exposing them to Refeeding Syndrome and electrolyte imbalances such as hypokalemia, hypomagnesemia, and hypophosphatemia, particularly among elderly hostages.
8️⃣
In cases with complex medical backgrounds, these electrolyte disorders can be lifethreatening. Additionally, the hostages were denied essential medications and treatment for their injuries, leading to the risk of widespread metabolic disorders.
9️⃣
The poor quality of food & water and unsanitary conditions, led to increased morbidity among the hostages. Many suffered from diarrhea, abdominal pain, and sometimes constipation. They had limited access to showers and returned with skin infections, including Dermatitis.
1️⃣0️⃣
Infections were detected in hospital cultures (Clostridium, Salmonella, Vibrio, Shigella, Giardia, E. coli).
2 hostages suffered from acute case of Q fever. Some women developed Deep Venous Thrombosis due to no access to medication & lack of mobility during captivity.
1️⃣1️⃣
The abduction of children, women, men, and the elderly from their homes is a traumatic event, often occurring after the murder of family members or close friends. In some cases, children were taken without their parents or after their parents' murder.
1️⃣2️⃣
Hostages witnessed their homes burned and looted as well as their community members raped.
The captives were taken to Gaza in open vehicles alongside bodies of those murdered. They endured beatings, humiliation, and verbal, physical, and sexual violence.
1️⃣3️⃣
The captivity was designed to torture the hostages psychologically. During their time in captivity they endured family separation, immobilization, arbitrary, frequent transfers & exposure to further violence. Some witnessed the killing of other captives.
1️⃣4️⃣
In captivity, the hostages were often subjected to solitary confinement, poor sanitation, severe medical neglect, lack of sleep, starvation, sexual abuse, violence, threats, and brainwashing through media designed to break their spirit and make them submissive.
1️⃣5️⃣
Medical and psychosocial teams report sharp mood swings, with some showing signs of hypomania upon return, followed by extreme depression. Even those who appeared strong initially showed difficulties adjusting to reality, sometimes experiencing dissociative episodes.
1️⃣6️⃣
Some returned hostages had paranoid anxieties, fearing retaliation against their loved ones still in captivity if they spoke about their experiences. The inability to share their trauma with therapeutic factors, which made it harder to process their trauma.
1️⃣7️⃣
The returned hostages have been experiencing "survivor's guilt" feeling responsible for being rescued while their loved ones remain in Gaza. Some wish to return to captivity to help those left behind and cannot be rehabilitated as long as their loved ones are still there.
1️⃣8️⃣
Many experience fear, restlessness, emotional detachment & confusion. Some afraid to leave rooms, even in the hospital's protected areas. They couldn't let go of behaviors from captivity - not eating, neglecting hygiene, hoarding food out of fear they would not have enough.
1️⃣9️⃣
They reported severe nightmares & sleep deprivation. Some experienced derealization struggling to accept their presence in the Israeli hospital as real rather than a dream from captivity. Avoided anything that reminded them of traumatic experiences, including certain foods.
2️⃣0️⃣
Most had no home to return to and learned upon their return of the deaths of family and friends, the destruction of their homes, and the collapse of their communities. Many found themselves without the support they once had, which has significantly hindered their recovery.
2️⃣1️⃣
Two of the children that were held together during captivity reported that they were held bound and were beaten throughout their captivity. Signs of binding, scars, and marks consistent with trauma were found.
2️⃣2️⃣
2 young children had burn marks on their lower limbs. One child stated that the burns were the result of a deliberate branding with a heated object. Both the child and adults who were with him described the incident as a purposeful branding event, not an accident.
2️⃣3️⃣
One hostage described being sexually assaulted at gunpoint by a Hamas terrorist. Captors forced women of all ages to undress while others, including the captors, watched. The captors sexually assaulted them and were tied to beds while their captors stared at them.
2️⃣4️⃣
One woman, injured during the attack, was held in a dark isolation for 30 days, bound and unable to move. She had no contact with the outside world, received an inadequate amount of food and water, and did not receive treatment for her injury.
2️⃣5️⃣
The men endured severe physical abuse, including continuous starvation, beatings, burns with galvanized iron (branding), hair-pulling, confinement in closed rooms with a limited amount of food and water, being held in isolation with hands and feet tied, and being denied access to the bathroom, which forced them to defecate on themselves.
2️⃣6️⃣
These are the testimonies of those who were captive for 2 months. There are still living hostages enduring this for 450 days.
Please share and help Bring Them Home Now.

Wag4
Zaliczyłam w życiu całe spektrum. Byłam wychvdzona i byłam oty1a w różnych wariantach i kolejności. W 2021 roku moja waga zaczęła dobijać do 100 kg i zaczęłam odczuwać zdrowotne skutki 0tyłości.
Zajęło mi to rok by zejść do 68- 65 kg jadłam około 1000 -1500 kalor1i na redukcji.
♠️jem 4 posiłki dziennie i pare przekąsek. Mój limit to +/- 2100 kal.
