Well aware of your past relationships—and all the ups and downs they entailed—he immediately knew which one you were thinking about. “It’s not?” they gently pried, testing the waters of how much you wanted to open up. 

“Yeah, it was a long time ago. The relationship was kind of… messy?” Your brow wrinkled and your tone turned a touch softer as you dwelt on it. “I wish it never happened, honestly.”

He couldn’t voice his own thoughts just yet. Their heart sank at the idea that they couldn’t go back and fix it—to make sure you’d never have such an ill gotten memory that made you upset, no matter how small. It’d be easier to give you a better experience now.

“Then it didn’t happen,” [REDACTED] decided aloud.

You raised your eyebrow and crossed your arms over his chest. “But it did?”

“If y’don’t like it, ‘didn’t happen,” he repeated. He absently brushed a hand through your hair, lingering at the nape of your neck. “Y’can try again with me, yeah?”

“Oh…” The frown on your face quickly melted away, replaced with the shy, devious smile you wore when you pushed him down earlier. “Yeah.”

Lips parted, breath caught in his throat, your ever-patient hacker waited as you leaned down once more to bring your lips close to theirs. He could hardly form a thought the moment they felt your breath, then your warm skin. 

It was everything he imagined it’d be. From how they felt your heart beating in an uneven rhythm with his, down to the way you tasted was just what he dreamed of each night. One kiss from his angel was worth the seemingly endless years of waiting.

As you pulled away—no doubt stealing what little breath remained in them—he followed after, the desperation he normally kept at bay rising to the surface as he held you close with their hand on your cheek.

Going through the backstory ep again and I noticed that Ford's "thinking parlour" (aka what's commonly known as Ford's room/the Carpet Diem room/Mullet Stan's depression room) was always portrayed in an optimistic light during his researcher days

(while initial journal shot seems more dubious if it's really that same room, there's a triangle prism that was stated to be a hint in Carpet Diem+Gideon Rises to the Author connection way back in Season 1. In the other two scenes you can see the couch and lamp. Also Ford's backpack which I find to be a cute detail)

But meanwhile, the future living room seemed like it was always kinda dreary even before Ford was tricked into building the portal

(Also in case people are gonna point at the tank and yell "FRILLIAM", this is before McGucket arrives to town, and an axolotl is shown in the cool panning shot earlier too. Maybe it got retconned, maybe not)

I find it interesting that the rooms basically swapped meanings after Stan made the house his own, with the living room becoming a cozy place for the Mystery Shack family, while Ford's room is sealed up for decades in stasis and then becomes messy after Ford returns (and even then Ford's room had its Soos' mancave era)

Why do people think Curly faked Jimmy's psych eval?

No where does the game imply that Curly did this but I've seen a lot of people treat this as a fact. I've already talked about how the psych evals are pointless so it really doesn't matter but for the sake of accuracy I'll go over it.

Transcript I'm using for screenshots is from here. They've been doing a lot of these and it's super useful.

As you can see Jimmy literally asks Curly to just fake it for him and Curly's response is "we'll power through it" and starting the eval. This is just clearly the opposite of Curly faking it. He's literally making Jimmy do it. My best guess as to why there's confusion is the line after we skip forward.

I think the line "I'll just put "Good" for that one." was all people needed to completely ignore everything else and assume he faked it. It's a take that looks at a single line and stretches as far as possible to reach a malicious conclusion. We know from Curly's eval that the eval is multiple choice. It's not uncommon for an answer to fall between two choices causing a person to settle with the closest fit. In context of Curly denying Jimmy's request to fake the eval what makes more sense? Curly faking it anyway or choosing a best fit answer?

I've noticed that there's a certain view of Curly that some people have where even if it doesn't make sense with the rest of the story they'll ignore it to paint Curly in the worse light possible. I think this does a disservice to the narrative. Evil Curly who is aware of and actively helps Jimmy do awful things isn't present in the story. Dude bro Curly who would sacrifice everything for his bestie isn't there either. Curly is a character defined by inaction, by being a well meaning person who chooses wrong in a terrible situation.

Are you seeing a theme yet. I like a general comedic air to svsss AUs, it just belongs to the svsss experience ya know? Anyway carrying on-

Shen twins, and SQH twins cause why not. If you want Binghe twins too, actually probably funnier with Binghe twins, where one is our beloved maiden Bingmei and the other OG!PIDW Bingge but forced back in time with memories of the PIDW timeline. Transmigrator SQH aka Airplane gets the peak lord + Mobei-Jun plotline while OG!SQH is just chilling as an An Ding Peak Hallmaster or something. Meanwhile, the Shen twins have a funny game of imposter going on. As far as everyone is concerned, there is only one Shen Qingqiu, Shen Yuan. Shen Yuan transmigrated in earlier into the novel, but ended up going to CQM with Yue Qi while SJ got stuck in the Qiu household as in canon. From here the details can change but the main idea is that

A) Shen Yuan knows how to do his peak lord job actually

B) SJ is a calamity ghost, having died either in his disciple years or alternatively never made it out of the Qiu household alive

C) Both SY and SJ have been playing switcheroo when SY needs to head out and do stuff or just wants SJ to do his paperwork for him.

I still need a good reason for the switching and duping, but wouldn't it be funny if the disciples just had to deal with their peak lord behaving WILDLY different at times. Most of the time it's good ol' Shen Yuan smiling at disciples, way too enthusiastic for monsters and plants and keeps forgetting his fans everywhere. Then one random week in the month after he has a resting bitch face, scowls, snarls and bitches at anyone and has 0 patience for teenage attempts at music.

Most shrug it off as just terrible migraine weeks, but some disciples are suspicious, most of all Bingge who is CONVINCED something is WrongTM. Like, he KNOWS SQQ and this SQQ is just so different, something must be different. He doesn't know how right he is yet everyone just thinks he's actually insane.

I know this is probably increasingly insane and dumb, but fast forward to the Abyss opening. SJ was probably there to keep an eye on his clumsy twin, but SY ends up asking the ghost to look over the Luos, as the system still demands that they go to the abyss. So SJ after much grumbling agrees (after all he probably just was unmasked as ghost calamity, and the twins as demons, with a huge amount of cultivators moving their way. It's really the smaller hassle to jump into the Abyss and deal with the horrors there. Besides, the scholar in SJ would be curious about the abyss (and SY too let's be honest) ), kicks both in and goes "Alright we're taking an impromptu field trip" and jumps in after leaving SY to deal with the political mess that comes after.

Anyway, the last AU can be changed in various ways, like make it a PIDW time travel fix it with only the OGs around, or just Shen twins, etc. Feel free to shout at me how dumb this all is.
