It's been a dog's age since I attended San Diego Comic Con. But I'm going this year with my friend C.H. Greenblatt to do a panel for his show "Jellystone"!

Jellystone is famous for ruining the childhoods of people who love(d) Hanna-Barbera characters. Now we're going to ruin old-school CN for everyone too.

Don't ghost us!

Promote clumsy first meets ideas

It was a nice spring evening and you just moved to Japan in Yokohama a few days ago. It was strange at first, you needed to be accustomed to the local environment and the people around you.

With that being said, you were still struggling here and there. And you had stayed in quarantine for a while, because of the last time you interacted with someone and completely made a fool out of yourself.

But, you nip it in the bud and decide that it was just a one-time thing. There was no need to act the way you were. So, you went to the grocery store to try it out. And also because you needed food for the week.

“Okay, so I need; bread, sausage, water, and—oh dog food!” You smile to yourself, as you make it to the store. You looked up and lifted your scratch paper, looking at it before looking back up at the sign. Making sure you were in the right place, and not going into the wrong store…like last time.

You shivered at the embarrassing memory. You shook it off; deciding not to think much of it and just go in. You take a deep breath, as you go up to open the door.

…….

‘Wait… why isn’t it opening?’ You thought to yourself, as you kept trying to open it again. But it wouldn’t budge. “Huh? Come on.. open up already..” you groaned, as you started tugging it, trying to pull harshly at it. “Open it already you stupid door—!”

“Ahem..”

As you were focusing on trying to open the door, you heard someone behind you trying to get your attention. You turn around to see a rather short, young man standing behind you.

You study his angelic-like features. Ginger hair, light blue eyes, pale skin, he was well dressed. And he had a.. fancy lookń hat? He was quite handsome…

“O-oh um.. the door isn’t opening—“ Before you could inform him that the store may be closed… he suddenly walked up to you, the proximity made you nervous and flustered. He smelled nice.. his cologne wasn’t a strong aroma like other people. But it was a clear and clean aroma; like you could bath in the sent and never get tired of it, He was beautiful up close as well.

Your thoughts were soon interrupted as you saw the door open—

Wait a minute—embarrassment started to wash over you, as you realized your mistake.

You had to push the door to open it.. not pull...

You felt your face flush at the realization, as you mumbled a small thank you. He held open the door for you to go in, a nonchalant expression on his face. When you entered the store, you quickly made your way to the shopping carts and went into the aisle. To hide your utter embarrassed expression from the guy…

‘Way to start your morning (Yn)!’ you groaned softly, pushing your cart down the aisle as you started looking for the items. You started to later on forget about the embarrassing incident as you were looking for your stuff.

‘Hm..’ you looked down at your notes and back up at the countertops, spotting bread. “Ah, there is it!” You say happily to yourself, as you go on your tippy toes and reach for it…

“…come on..” you say quietly, as you try your best to reach for the top. “Come on (Yn), you're almost there—“ As you were so close to reaching the bread on the top row, you felt a sudden heat radiating behind you. And a hand reaching for the bread. You tilt your head up slightly and are met with two pairs of pretty familiar blue eyes—

“Here..” He was the same handsome ginger that helped you with the door... he handed you the bread with a nonchalant attitude.

You gazed at him for a moment, not realizing that you were staring longer than necessary. He raised a brow at your rude staring but didn’t point it out. And instead, gave you the same action you did.. and he too, stared at you. Analyzing your features.

‘Beautiful‘ Chuuya thought to himself, as he gazed into your pretty dark murky colored eyes. He ran his eyes along your features, cute little lips, soft wavy shoulder-length hair, and siren-like shape eyes, You had a delicate face. One that can make people snap their heads back, and take a good look at you again. Eyes that no one would ever want to look away from. You were like a porcelain doll, with shyness added to it and pouty lips.

“T-thank you..” you say shyly, as you gently take the bread.

His finger graced your fingertip, they were small, delicate, and warm… even If his hands were covered by his gloves, he could tell by the way your hands softy shone lightly. And the way gently took your bread; They were indeed delicate… and gentle. Unlike his.. rough and unclean, blood on his hands…

You bow slightly, before taking your leave and grabbing ‘your cart’..or so you thought; And walked away. Your heart was beating fast, to the point where you felt like you had just run a full-on marathon. Running away from a handsome stranger.

“Oh goodness,” you sighed in relief, hoping you wouldn’t encounter him so that you wouldn’t embarrass yourself even more.

As you were walking through the aisles from the other side of the store. You were placing the canned beans in the cart when you realized that, all the items you had shopped for.. were there.. but instead, you found different ones that you hadn’t even picked yourself.

…..

“Oh great..” you sighed to yourself, how can you be so completely clumsy to have even taken the wrong cart? Especially the cart from the very man you embarrassed yourself in front of. You sighed once again, as you started to go around the store to look for the man.

As you were looking left to right, you suddenly had a glimpse of a shadow that hovered above you. You quickly looked up and saw nothing.

“Huh?” You quirked a braw, before turning around and lightly choking on air as you saw the very man you were looking for. You gasped in slight fright before regaining your composure; realizing who it was.

“Oh thank goodness.. you scared me.” You chuckled, as you placed your hand near your heart. You swore on your life; that you had just seen him float in the air.. as if he’s floating—er more like had zero gravity…? Maybe you were just imagining it…

“I think you forgot this.” He gently pushes your cart beside you.

“Oh thank you!” You smile, “Here…sorry, I took it.” You chuckled awkwardly, as you lightly pushed his cart to him.

“I noticed.”

“Hehe.. sorry.” You smile shyly. He takes his cart back and takes his leave. “Bye-bye see you when you get—“ you quickly coved your mouth as you started to blush in embarrassment. You had a habit of biding people; especially family, goodbye. With a small, ‘see you when you get back, and a ‘drive safe, be safe’. so you had accidentally said it to him…

He turned his head back to you and quirked a brow in confusion.

“S-sorry! I.. have a good-bye habit..”

“You have a habit of saying ‘goodbye’ and ‘see you later’ to strangers?” He questions.

Your face started to increase its color. “Y-yes?”

“Hm..” You could see a glimpse of amusement in his eyes as he turned around to get back to shopping.

“….” After he was far away from you, you groaned at yourself. You didn’t know what was going on with you today. You weren’t always this shy, and you hardly embarrassed yourself in front of people. You were always cool and nonchalant, and yet, today was.. different.

You placed your hand on your racing heart, Trying to ease it as you took a deep breath to calm yourself down. You took a deep breath and shook your head to take off the shy thoughts swarming in your head.

🎀•~Time-skip: few minutes later~•🎀

Today was an eventual day… you embarrassed yourself three times in one day. Now you’re here, waiting for the rain to stop. You had forgotten to check the weather, and forgot to bring an umbrella.

You sighed, “todays not my day..” you mutter, as you look down at the ground, playing with the water under you.

As you did so, you didn’t noticed the person standing next to you, watching you live in your own little world, unlike the said person; hovered an umbrella above you. And lightly cleared his throat to catch your attention.

You look up at him and you see the same guy from the store; shyly handing you hand umbrella. “Here…” he said softy,

“O-oh. No no no, I’m okay! Imma wait for a while. Just so it can stop—“

“You’re going to wait for five hours in the rain, soaking wet?” He quirk braw at you. You started to feel embarrassed and let your feet play with the puddle under your foot. “You.. do got a point..” you blush at your statement.

“…please.. take it..” he said gently. As he held it out. You looked up at him and saw he had soft gently eyes staring down at you.

How could you say no to those eyes?

So you took his umbrella and held it above your head. Smiling at his kindness.

But as you were about to thank him, he suddenly vanished, as if he never was here in the first place. No tracks left behind.. only his memories of him and you. Both your eventful day today.

“…Thank you..” you mumbled to yourself not expecting him or anyone for the matter to hear. But didn’t realize that Chuuya indeed hear you.

‘I hope I see him again soon..’ you thought to yourself as you started happily walking back home.

Disney Channel Sets Rebrand With New Logo And Graphics, Slated To Debut September 30.

Disney Channel has just updated their YouTube Channel profile picture and banner, ahead of the channel's upcoming rebrand which is expected to launch on September 30th.

The rebrand showcases new graphics alongside a new logo that drops the Mickey Mouse ears that where around for almost 10 years.

Like the Disney Jr. rebranding from earlier this year, they seem to be swapping out the Mickey ears/head element of the logo design and having a deeper focus on the Disney logo itself. Disney Channel, however, also seems to be retaining a Mickey head element that will be used in the new graphics and design of the rebrand, though it's too early to say given the regular assets have yet to play into the equation ---- @disneyschedules
