I loved your drawing(and I love your style in general) with Leia in your recent post! If/when you have time can we see more of her in your style? I get so happy whenever I actually see people mention/talk about her and she’s not just forgotten because we didn’t get to see much of her. 😭
thank you! 💙💙💙 Leia/Leah/Lea/whatever is fascinating to me. she is the ultimate unknown. what was she like? how involved (or even aware of any details of the invasion) was she? Silver's basically a physical carbon copy of his biodad, so what did he get from her? like, I understand why the two of them kind of have to stay as these super vague and mysterious figures -- the whole point of them is that their story ended 400+ years ago and they're not really relevant anymore (and. well. the more that gets explained about them, the less that can just kinda be handwaved as "oh the politics were Very Messy") (we can sit here and theorize all day but let us acknowledge that, ultimately, canon gave us almost nothing about them post-Meleanor and we'd just be making things up). I do still wonder about her though! RIP Lea, we never knew you and we probably never will.
Tumblr media
actually you know what, as long as we're here, I think I WILL go ahead and just make some stuff up about what Silver might've inherited from her instead.

ANSWER THIS AND YOU GET A FUNNY BURNING CHEESE COMIC
Hear me out
The ancients giving themselves up to the beasts as sacrifices if they agreed to leave earthbread alone and never wreck terror or show their faces again
I'd say everyone besides Flour would go:
Say less Babygirl*hops into a pumpkin carriage and rides off into the sunset*
Maybe Salt would need a lot of convincing because... Holy shit it could be this easy, Milk you seeing this, quick Spice snap a photo this is a moment in history
Flour is just in massive denial but would find a way to agree to mke it seem like it isn't about love or anything
Unknown3doors, don't tempt me like that 👀 don't tempt me like that, unknown3doors 👀 you're playing with fire, unknown3doors 👀🔥
Pure Vanilla surrendering to Shadow Milk would be the happiest day of Shadow's life. He makes Vanilla repeat himself multiple times, makes him announce it through a megaphone, they do a radio broadcast, Shadow makes a TV special out of it, Shadow writes poems and essays gloating and taunting... And then he eventually agrees to Vanilla's terms (although, he DOES try to haggle for permission to continue annoying people). Pure Vanilla is HIS!!! HE'S FINALLY HIS!!! FOREVER AND EVER!!!!!!! (And the Soul Jam, technically. But WHATEVER!!! HIS SILLY VANILLY!!!). Now Vanilla must endure having to spend EVERY SINGLE MINUTE of his life within 10 feet of Shadow AT ALL TIMES, or else the deal is off and Shadow will commit genocide in retaliation. Why the long face, though? You agreed to this! You knew this would happen! Maybe if Vanilla behaves well enough, like a good little doll, Shadow will allow himself to be HIS doll for a time. Tit for tat. It's only fair. They can be each other's playmate for eternity now...
Eternal Sugar would be 100% awake for the first time in forever if Hollyberry offered herself to her - in exchange for anything at all, it never had to have been for keeping innocents safe. Typical of Holly, in her estimate; she's not necessarily surprised by this. Maybe she'll feign a bit of surprise just because, maybe she'll tease Holly about it... But all in all, she's quite pleased. Now she can keep those pesky subjects of Holly's away from her much easier (as well as her friends... Including that ridiculous dragon...). Holly will learn to see things her way eventually. Appreciate the little things. Like a nice, long nap in a warm bed, in the arms of a loved one... Pleasant, sugary sweet dreams that are too comforting to wake up from... No one ever bothering them about anything ever again. Free from their responsibilities, free from the burden of the shield and the crown. Just the two of them in their own little world, pursuing their own happiness. Won't that be nice?
Mystic Flour would struggle to even entertain Dark Cacao's presence, never mind his... proposal (oh gods, not that word). She would refuse, and refuse, and refuse again. But Cacao does not give up, stubborn fool that he is. Curse his Light of Resolution... Eventually, in lieu of plainly refusing, she tries to appeal to reason. What about his kingdom? His people? What would they say, think, do? Will he leave them behind just to keep her pacified? What about his friends? His son? Who will rule in his absence? Unfortunately, Cacao has an answer for every single one of her questions... and, with an even greater undertone of misfortune... she likes them. That part of her that likes HIM also likes this. That he always has an answer for everything she says. That he won't bend the knee to her, no matter what. His self-sacrificing nature, bordering on martyrdom... just like hers once was. In truth, every word out of her mouth is only serving to delay her inevitable acceptance of his offer. A feeble attempt at shooing him away, one final shot at denying her feelings towards him, for having him around her constantly would be too much to bear, and she might... She... She'll break. She knows she will. And she can't have it. She won't stand for it.
... Dark Cacao, stubborn, handsome, selfless fool that he is. He has undone everything she ever worked for. Her apathy meant nothing the moment they locked eyes. It means nothing now, as they go back and forth about this foolish deal of his. And it won't mean anything when she eventually says yes.
(But she'll try to pretend otherwise, for as long as she can. Neither of them could handle the truth...)
Golden Cheese: Burning Spice, if you leave everyone else alone, I'll give myself to-
Burning Spice: DEAL!!!!!!!!! *pounces on her before she can actually finish or explain herself any further... What he does next, I'll let you imagine/decide 😉*
Silent Salt... wouldn't even believe it at first. He'd be astounded. Dumbfounded, really, that White Lily would say such a thing... Is this really her? Is someone forcing her to do this? What is the catch? Enough reassurance from her would convince him that she's being real and sincere and every other word that can be used to describe her deal, and... he accepts it. No other ifs, ands or buts. His White Lily... now, she really IS his White Lily. Forever and ever... He doesn't mind having to keep away from society; that's hardly a punishment. It costs him nothing. And if his White Lily is there with him, he won't even notice the difference...

@profandomhopper i was going to reblog the original post this comment was left on but i felt it divorced itself from the original topic so much, you get your own post for giving me delightful permission to ramble about this. buckle in people this is long.
so, DC is a big fandom that expanses a lot of different types of content, and like anything, is subject to crossovers. the obvious ones like Marvel are for the reason of being a similar and equally popular superhero world, so it's easy to transpose the worlds onto each other and overlap the characters. both of these worlds deal with multiverses and endless, endless heroes. it makes sense and there's no real stretch to think Batman and Spider-Man could co-exist. i mean, there have been canon crossover comics. and even some more random crossovers like White Collar have pretty easy to trace origins, being an actor in WC was a popular Dick fancast back in the day so there was some bleeding over that led to a well-loved niche crossover space.
but Danny Phantom and Miraculous Ladybug are where it gets interesting. because at a surface, MLB sort of makes sense. it's a superhero world, you're following a teen girl superhero and sure the mechanics are pretty contained, but the crossover should make sense. but when you compare it to the crossover numbers of other superhero media like say My Hero Academia, Ladybug takes the *crown* with such a bizarre popularity. and of course, DP feels like it makes even less sense. sure, you *could* lump it into at the very least, superhero-adjacent media, but it's not a true hero world like MLB or DC is.
but, the thing to always understand about DC, *especially* the Batfamily (which is where the crossover content propagates the most) is this: a *very* good chunk of fans don't interact with the comics. i would venture to say even most Batfamily fans don't read the comics and actively talk about it. we've all read a very fandom big Batfam fanfic where the author's note mentions the writer has never touched a comic in their life. typically, these fans are either cobbling together their understanding from fandom content, or by frankensteining unrelated DC adaptations to understand each character. you take Bruce from Batman: TAS, you take Dick from the animated Young Justice, you take Jason from Batman: Under The Red Hood animated movie, you take Damian from the DCAMU Batman vs Robin, and you read some fandom metas to fill in the rest and well, you've got some sort of an understanding of these characters. read enough incorrect quotes, some genfic, a couple of character metas, and boom, you understand the Batfamily fandom enough to start creating your own content. and of course now. now you have Wayne Family Adventures so it's even *easier*. a pretty easy to pick up webtoon that's filling in all the gaps for you. but i've been in this fandom long enough to remember before we had WFA and even then, this was still a common, if not the most popular way, to ween yourself into the DC fandom space. you cherry-picked the canon you liked and then plunged into the depths of fanon.
i'm not here to make in depth commentary on if i think this is a good or bad thing. trust me i have that commentary in my head, but that would need it's own post. i'm very split on it and my feelings are complicated. my feelings on WFA are even *more* complicated. because oftentimes, the attitude expressed by these fans who are frankensteining this version of the Batfamily/DC world they have in their head is they don't *want* to read the comics. the comics don't contain the content they're after. and to an extent, i understand that. if you're looking for light-hearted vibes of the Batfamily all getting along and having the occasional hurt/comfort moments but in the end, they hug and make up, you're right. largely, you won't find that in canon. of course there are so many comics to recommend for Batfamily interactions, but you have to get specific. you'll find them interacting in small groups, Tim and Dick bonding here, Duke and Cass bonding there, but largely, the comics don't care to balance the ridiculously large cast they've given themselves. but fandom does. it's easy to toss them all in a blender and ignore the parts you don't like. the default argument to ignoring the comics or writing something OOC is always "well the comics are OOC and inconsistent too" which, while a flawed argument that massively misunderstand how comics work as a medium, isn't an entirely incorrect one. you could serve on a silver platter to these fans, an easy and accessible way to get into comics and they wouldn't be interested. it's not what they're here for. fandom is always character-driven above all else. it's driven by character relationships and dynamics. if someone wants to consume content where Tim idolized and stalked Jason as 'his Robin' and now is trying to help him rehabilitate and they're super complicated but have this long epic forgiveness arc, why *would* they read the comics? because they're sure as shit not going to find that dynamic in the comics. it's laughably OOC and not canon at all, but that doesn't matter. what matters is the sandbox. most Batfamily fans care *far* more about the sandbox canon gives them than the actual canon itself. feel how you feel about that, this really isn't being negative toward that attitude, but it is a common attitude.
so, you have Batfamily fans playing in the sandbox and building their own narrative. common fandom headcanons are so common, you could practically write a guide on how the fanon Batfamily works with how consistent people are about it. or you could just read WFA, which is practically the new manifesto of it. even now, with this sudden spike in people talking about canon accuracy and "actually this happening in the comics", they don't actually care about the comics, just what they can cherry-pick for fodder. (even if they rob it of so much context they're just as OOC as they were before. see specifically: the recent phenomena with Tim Drake going from the woobified weakest member of the Batfam who everyone needs to save constantly and he's the smart boy but he's also the one with a sad tragic neglectful past who gets overlooked being the way Batfamily fandom played with Tim for years. but recently, people seem to be pushing this idea of a ridiculously badass Tim, Tim who *totally* has a kill count because of his actions in RR (2009) if you take them completely out of context, Tim who bested Ra's and is even more badass than Jason and he's the 17 yr old CEO of Wayne Industries being cool and flawless it becoming the new fandom zeitgeist. neither of these versions of Tim are canon, and the second fundamentally misunderstands his arc in RR (2009) but the shift has undeniably happened and it's been fascinating to watch. the same thing happened with people suddenly deciding Jason isn't the "angry violent Robin", he was a sunshine sweet boy who was perfect as Robin. neither of these are true, but the second feels more transgressive and new to fandom from cherry-picked panels.) the point is largely, Batfamily fans would rather build their own canon than play with the actual canon.
and then, you have Danny Phantom. i'm not into DP and have no interest to get into it, but what i know about it via fandom osmosis is this: DP fans sort of also don't give a fuck about canon. once again, the canon of DP is a sandbox, not a rulebook. the concepts and the characters are the draw, not the plot itself. i've seen DP posts explaining characters who are essentially OCs, but have become so dominant in the fandom via fandom osmosis. there are concepts and ideas about how Danny's powers work and potential concepts with his ghost nature that either aren't in canon or only happened once in canon and fans decided to expand on that and doesn't care about it's own in-universe logic. i've seen a lot of DP fans also express they haven't seen the show and they don't have plans to see the show. because the show is just some children's cartoon with some inconsistencies and a simple plot, as you'd expect from CN. the show isn't the point. no one cares about it's plot, they care about it's characters. they care about pushing the concept of half ghost boy to a logical extreme and seeing what you can get out of that. can you make it weird and fucked up. how much can you highlight on his trauma and body horror. what identity crisis can you give him and how can you build his interactions with other characters in his world around that and also make those characters fun and unique on their own. sure, the skeleton of canon is there, but the meat lies all in the fanon.
Miraculous Ladybug also exists in this similar vein. the characters, the concepts, those hold intrigue. and not even mentioning the fact the original concept for this show was supposed to be aimed to an older audience, so you can see the bones of something a bit more mature and nuanced under this typical, villain of the week magical girl transformation show. the show itself is a bit shallow and that's not a *bad* thing, it's just the medium it exists within being aimed towards children. but the concepts of a teen girl who's basically a sort of chosen one, a boy who doesn't know his father is the big bad of the show, and their weird identity porn love... square thing. those dynamics are *so* complicated and such a fun sandbox to play in with character-driven fandom.
so, at the core, you have three fandoms that care more about the culturally accepted fanon than the canon, with a good chunk of people often not even consuming the original canon content. and well, DC is an *easy* world to transpose just about anything onto. a boy who's half ghost and fighting supernatural threats? that makes sense, DC has ghost heroes like Deadman already. a girl who has this magical item that gives her animal themed superpowers? i mean that's practically the same thing as Vixen's Totem so that one makes sense too. they fit in pretty easy, no needing to change the world to accommodate them. and of course, if you're a fan of *one* fandom where you don't care for the canon content and only like the fandom sandbox, chances are, you'll get drawn in pretty easily to another fandom with similar mechanics. if you can teach yourself the DP fandom rules/concepts, you can teach yourself the Batfamily fandom rules/concepts. and well, since there's so much crossover in fandom members, why not write the fanfiction? crossover fics will always exist, but with such a shared member base, you have a really big boom.
it's why the characters you see DP interact with in DC are *always* characters who are far more driven by fanon than canon. Danny and John Constantine is a *massive* concept. for people who don't read Hellblazer comics. my poor partner, @divine-dominion has lamented to me pretty often about finding DP content in the Hellblazer tag that is essentially turning Constantine into an OC. because whatever version of Constantine is being written about isn't one bit comics accurate, and really, isn't trying to be. and the same thing happens with Shazam. you watch Young Justice and understand him well enough, you get drawn in by the character concept that you just run with it. people put their favorite blorbos in the same place because hey, wouldn't ghost boy be pretty cool in a city like *Gotham*. how would Batman even react to him. and then, the shipping. because ages for the Batfamily can be easily hand-waved and moved around based on where you plop Danny into the timeline, you have your pick of the litter with him, and same with Ladybug. of course there are the most popular ships but largely, the world is your oyster.
i don't think this is the worst thing in the world for either fandom. it's not hard to filter out the crossover tags and scroll past content i don't like. and sure, i see the appeal of making your blorbos from two different places meet. i've got my drafts *full* of DC/MHA crossover ideas because well, i like them both and think that would be cool. i think my only gripe with it is when DP or MLB crossover content seeps it's way into the wrong tags. using the above example, if you're writing about Danny and Constantine but there's zero content of the actual Hellblazer comics, i don't think you need the Hellblazer tag, just the Constantine character tag. tbh i wish this extended onto Ao3 and people utilized fandom tags better. if you're writing Batfamily fanfiction that is very clearly and obviously WFA driven in characterization and concepts, i would far prefer those fics be tagged with the WFA fandom tag rather than the Batman (comics) fandom tag. because well, you're not writing about the Batman comics. and there's nothing wrong with that, but it helps if you don't confuse yourself for content striving to interact with canon more. (this especially extends to Young Justice, by the way. if you're writing for the Young Justice tv show please, please stop using the Young Justice (comics) fandom tag. i'm at my wit's end- /lh)
the whole thing is fascinating. i've got zero interest in entering DP or MLB as fandoms because that's not my speed, but witnessing it as an outsider is my favorite pastime. i see a *lot* of posts going around the DC x DP space that are helping explain to people who's who, what's what, and understanding the canon/fanon of both of these properties so others can better enter the space. which is not something you'd need in a fandom driven only by it's canon content, but it is sweet watching others try to help newbies enter the space. it's a very inviting fandom space, i think, whether you lament it's existence or not. they're just sitting in their corner with their blorbos, and i gotta respect that. the posts explaining the Batfamily to DP fans are always fun for me to read, even if i disagree with some of the characterizations in them because it helps shine a light on what the fans of this crossover regard as "important" enough about each fandom to be worth including those sorts of primers. very fascinating stuff.
#necrotic festerings#dc x dp#dc x dp crossover#dc x mlb#danny phantom#miraculous ladybug#batfamily#dc comics#fandom meta#fandom analysis#but i can totally write more of these analysis type posts bc i *love* this shit#it's like fandom anthropology#fan studies#love that shit and i have *so* many case studies i could write about cultural phenomena in the batfamily fandom space#bc you can tell by my. everything i'm a comics purist#but i'm not totally negative to fanon#i roll my eyes. I cringe. I send long rants to my loved ones.#but i live and let live and i'm not going to jump down a fanon post for being painfully incorrect. it's just mean and not how we behave.#like there's a difference that and between correcting ppl who say 'in the comics-' when they haven't read the comics#but most ppl aren't claiming their content is based on the comics. and i can respect that honesty#like you're just rawdogging it#i understand the appeal of it. seriously no shade it's a fun sandbox if you just want cool blorbos.#it's *not* how I do fandom but to each their own#and ofc i want comic accurate fanfic but i can find that on my own. it's not hard to do#some comic purists act like there's *no* comic fandom content and come on now.#it's pretty easy to tell the difference when you're scrolling ao3. let's not be unkind to content not made for us.#but i'm serious please do stay out of comic tags if you're not writing comic content. it's my only gripe with this whole thing.#besides that be gay be free.#be cringe. it's freeing i promise.#i jest about being sick of that green ghost boy and that ladybug girl in fandom but it's all silly. i really don't mind.

so on the subject of the "Crowley is secretly Revaan/Laverne/Levin/please Twst give us his name" theory, I think my feelings are best summed up as "I don't really buy it, but it's funny". like, in all seriousness, I'm not opposed to it; I have enjoyed the writing in Twst so far and I'm willing to trust that whatever happens will, you know, make sense and not be terrible. but I'm just not really convinced by the current evidence! maybe that'll change once we learn more, we'll see!
with that said, may I propose a few alternate theories about the possible Crowley/Revaan connection:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
#art#twisted wonderland#twisted wonderland spoilers#twisted wonderland episode 7 spoilers#twisted wonderland book 7 spoilers#on this installment of things nobody asked but i'm going to talk about anyway#disclaimer that this is mostly a joke please don't get mad at me#(legit no shade to anyone) (speculation is one of the fun things about an ongoing fandom and you never know what'll turn out to be true!)#more seriously i do think there may be some connection that just isn't clear yet#but the more little breadcrumbs we get about what revaan was like the more i think crowley just doesn't act like him#i adore crowley don't get me wrong#(yes he's a dipshit. this is a feature not a bug.)#but like.#not to harp on the scene about lilia's nrc invitation (i am absolutely going to harp on it)#i do not believe that crowley would go through the trash to fish out the pieces and put them back together and save them#just because it was lilia's. just because lilia might want it again someday.#crowley can ✨yasashii✨ all he wants but we know what he's like#and i REALLY do not believe that lilia wouldn't recognize him. i didn't believe it before and i extra don't believe it now.#then again i do tend to be incredibly off about speculation so! who knows! i will trust the writing for now!#i do 100% believe that meleanor would fall in love with the world's biggest dumbass and then double down super hard. that part tracks.#that said i have decided that ambrose being revaan is actually the funnier option just because it would make crowley SO mad#it wouldn't make sense for him to be mad about it and that would just make him madder

silly idea that a Yautja and a Na'vi work together to stop a xenomorph outbreak in Pandora.
Weyland Yutani struck a deal with the RDA to send androids to work on the moon for protection to the RDA workers but Weyland Yutani saw the fauna and decided on doing a little secret "experiment" to the moon.
A Na'vi clan from the far north of the jungle are facing relocation from the RDA and are dealing with a very aggressive 'thanator'. While a Yautja came to the moon, not to hunt anything from Pandora but to settle his revenge to a Weyland Yutani employee that is supposedly on Pandora.

Imagine you're a well-known expert swordsman who men/women/people fear if they don’t wanna outright have bone you, some of them do both but that’s not the point. You’re living your life as a single man having a grand old time. Then you're totally not an adopted son with anger issues start dating the son of the owner of your favorite restaurant located middle of nowhere. Who have you watched grow up and who have you seen give random patrons level 5 concussions since he was like 12. So you're not really worried about him holding his own but you are concerned that your not-adopted son will break the heart of the obviously a bit love-starved boy, which would mean you might end up no longer able to go to your preferred dive bar. Now your not-adopted son has some(lot) of issues one of which is he doesn’t bathe regularly and no sense of direction either. With those anger issues, it does make you worry that you might no longer be able to get those horrible but so very delicious dishes from that dive. To keep from dwelling on that too much you choose to focus on your own love life, your three eager suitors, one of which was more eager than the others. You do have rather homoerotic sword fights like every other week since you started swimming in the same circles. You don’t wanna just pick him because he’s got enough of an ego but you also don’t wanna pick the clown because he’s a clown or the lizard. After all, you're soundly a bird and he also has problems with water. This would make him a good pair for your not-adopted son, but your definitely adopted daughter “ships you “ with your homoerotic sword fight companion. Wanting to no longer think of your own life you go back to focusing on your not adopted son’s relationship with the son of the owner of your favorite dive.
Deciding that while he’s living with you now, totally not because you adopted him, you decide to try to fix some of those small issues so at least you can argue that you tried to raise your not adopted son to be a good partner. You like to think it kinda worked but when you hear about them fighting you still cross your fingers and pray to whoever is listening.
When the fact that your not adopted son's partner is also adopted and is actually a fucken prince, you almost have a heart attack and are the son of an asshole with a bunch of asshole brothers and a sister. Now while you choose to let the poor kid handle it, should push come to shove you will probably offer your services to take out said sperm downer if it would get you back in the good graces of the dive owner if your not adopted son fucks it up. It does also make you feel a bit anxious about the wedding as while you can provide a worthy celebration of such rather sweet love it’s not the level of a royal family.  Then again this kid is a cook and a pirate in love with your nardulle not adopted son. This does make you at least question his taste in men but he also has a similarly refined taste as you, so it’s a bit of a give and take.
The biggest curveball however is when you bring up your still present nervousness at your not adopted son’s relationship and you almost have a heart attack because his response is “What relationship?” With a confused look on his face. Which was something in itself as he doesn’t emote often at least if it’s not rage. Leading to further confusion as you and your adopted daughter look at each other to confirm you both heard him. Then you say the one which the cook, son of that dive bar owner, apparently a prince of some kind. Your not-adopted son, who’s not one for choking or wasting alcohol, spits out his drink of some alcohol that would likely make him go blind, and yells out a “What! I’m not with that shitty cook!”
This makes you freak out because omg you broke up! I have reservations for next week! Fuck! I’m gonna have a fight when I get there and I just wanna drink and kick up my feet and relax! Luckily while you’re having your inner freak out your adopted daughter has the presence of mind to confusedly ask “What? You're not?”
Which reveals that they were in-fact not together and never had been. Which does bring you out of your freak out, enough to actually look confused.
“Your not?”
“No”
“Are you sure?”
“The fuck  you mean am I sure? Why would I be with that shitty cook!”
This is when your adopted daughter chooses to point out all the things you’ve both seen in how they interact and the look in his eyes or eye when the cook is in the line of vision. Then leads to a month of your not adopted son denying everything, at random times too coming up with defenses at random times you come yell at you or your adopted daughter.  At one point you are on a long-distance phone call with your not-quite boyfriend, still homo-erotic sword fight partner, when your not-adopted son bursts in and yells that his gaze isn’t full of lot and longing but angry and frustrated at the cook's existence. All said at a shouted volume and with an enraged look on his face. Know did your, not-quite boyfriend wins some big points with you with his response of “frustrated longing is a thing too.” Which almost made you laugh, you had an image to keep up. Though it did send your, not son into a bit of a spiral and about to challenge your not-yet boyfriend to a fight. That you had to defuse as honestly your not son was being an idiot and your not yet boyfriend is also an idiot, and while idiot and idiot is also entertaining, this seems more like a crime than a fun show.
After a month of this denial in the middle of the night, while you were sleeping he busted into your room and yelled.
“Okay so maybe I’m a little in love with him!”
A lovely revelation that could have waited until the morning. Now you're either regretting adopting him as he obviously is just here to vex you. “Great glad you’ve come to terms with it.”  You attempt to roll over and go back to sleep but it seems your son is now choosing to chat your ear off. It almost seems like retribution for making him come to this revelation. Of course, your daughter sensing your awake comes in and joins in his babbling. So now you have both your children seated on the edge of your bed talking about boys, All while you’re trying to sleep.
When your daughter started painting your nails do don’t really know but she was doing that while your son was braiding her hair as they continued to talk about boys. This is your life now, no sleep but your nails do look great so it’s a give-and-take you guess.

yknow what's REALLY funny to me?
if, just a year ago, you told me i was making a whole story around characters named nova, scamall, spéir, eve, and asa? that it was called faerie's dawn, completely separate from the rest of my works and worldbuilding? based on the early faewildes? and that i would completely drop everything else to work on it?
i would've said "who tf even are half of those characters and why would i make mcs i don't even know", then called bullshit on you LMAO
tho I'd also be like "huh... a story on asa and eve...? it would be cool to do that... but nah. not any time soon."

guys it's official baby zvahlne now ships laurmau.
okay but fr this is!!!!! this scene is so important to me!!!! it is actually when i started shipping laurmau as a kid because like. WELL LAURANCE SAID IT BEST, "i love that you can joke with me like this.".... I LOVE THAT THEY CAN JOKE WITH EACH OTHER LIKE THIS!!!
it's exactly what i love about their dynamic... they play with each other... it makes me so happy... i think making each other laugh is my favorite thing a couple can do. and these two just laugh and laugh. they're so comfortable with each other to do this it makes me so emotional. and they're so good at bouncing off each other. it's. ouh. the chemistry. oh god. mylaurmau

I know why Cas says he cared about Sam because of Dean but I don’t get why he says it about Jack? I feel like his relationship with Jack was fairly separate from Dean
I personally don’t view Cas’s statement as that literal. To me, it means less that he cared about Jack because of Dean, and more that caring about one person gave him the courage to keep opening himself up.
Love, after all, spreads like a contagion. It grows, expanding outward like a stone dropped in water, rippling further and further. Dean wasn’t the start of Cas caring about things; Cas had his own convictions and compassion long before that.
But Dean was a turning point. He became family, a kind of structural support Cas could grow with (and change with, and mess up with, and come back to against all the odds). Through that foundation, it became possible for Cas to live and love more fully: Sam, Bobby, other angels, Claire, Mary, Jack, the AU hunters, Rowena, and humanity itself.
#asks#i had an instant answer#that rarely happens#must be that kinda friday huh!!!#but anyway#i hope this view is a bit of a balm?#i like to twist the writing into the meanings i like best <3#i have sympathy tho cause i do see some takes where cas is flattened to DEAN AND ONLY DEAN which is...#not only weird but not a very good read on this character development imho#almost all of cas's relationships stand up on their own so i'm not sure what you mean with sam here...?#cas has friends and he tells you WHO they are on multiple occasions#he tells you sam winchester is his friend so... why wouldn't you believe that stands on its own merit? it's weird to dismiss cas's own word#and later he refers to sam AND mary as his family who he loves#he loves his family and friends#and has always been referred to as big hearted and rebellious and even gadreel calls him honorable and popular despite his faults#cas even verbalized *grieving* balthazar when he thought bal had died#anwyay cas has always cared and there are many members he personally includes in that grouping especially in the latter part of the series#imho it's fun to joke that he doesn't like anyone *else* but weird to take seriously in-canon world#dean helped give cas courage and safety to act more fully on the care he always had (which cas yes... does tend to undersell in himself)#cas and dean built and protected their family together for a *very* long time so i think the testament is a nod to that as well#they kept after one another and gave up on each other and messed up together and came back together... it's really nice because#it includes every manner of neg emotion and still it endured... that's not just the strength to care... it's the strength to KEEP ON caring

Picking at some mirrorverse fics I have started, and I think it’s real funny my mirror!Spock has developed into being The Guy That Can Cook- all the while I also 100% agree with the standard opinion that prime Spock can NOT cook to save his life.
That’s the trade off I guess, mirror Spock looses his morals but by god can that man whip up a 5-star dinner

@kaseyskat and I have been scheming up this AU since April and the latest episode gave the both of us massive brainworms so we're finally posting about it!!
Welcome to the Perfectly Regular AU <3 It's Scary and Normal centric and takes place shortly after the Hell Arc, it diverges from canon when Scary rejoins the teen's side and Willy decides she's a lost cause, causing him to shift gears into a different plan. Scary notices that Normal's been acting really weird lately- and what's this about homunculi?
Nyx has written the first installment of the AU here please go check it out!! :D
edit: here's part two btw <3
