I have very complicated feelings for the Vengeance Saga (after the first listen)

Disclaimer: I will only criticize Epic the Vengeance Saga as a work on its own, not for its inaccuracy or deviation from mythology and The Odyssey. There are more knowledgable people who can point out and analyze the changes in Epic the Musical, but that is not what I'll be tackling here.

To put it bluntly, I'm not being angsty about it as I should. The whole saga just... didn't feel right with me.

Now, first off all, I'm a big fan of Epic and had been following it since the Cyclops saga (first version). I've been in love with many songs and hyperfixed it for months on end. But when the Vengeance saga came along, I didn't feel that same bubbling love rise in me.

Even as a fan, this isn't my first time having peeves with Epic. I didn't jam with the re-release sagas for a while, I'm underwhelmed with the Circe VS Odysseus fight and other issues, very unpopular opinion but "Monster" wasn't too impactful to me, and also the God Games (especially Zeus' attack).

The Vengeance Saga though? Well, they say we gotta do the Bun-Meat-Bun (or whatever the hell its name really is) technique when giving criticism, so I'll start with the good parts.

I love that Odysseus looked so done with Calypso in "Not Sorry For Loving You". They're basically this meme:

Then Odysseus starts singing the reprise for "Full Speed Ahead" but there's no one to back him up. That one hits me hard. To whoever on Tumblr said that after the Thunder Saga we will never hear the crew's back-up again and Odysseus' singing will be answered with silence, Apollo really blessed you with the red ball.

Hermes and the Winions' part was really cool too! I really like them being mischievous helper! The warning about the wind bag and the changing scene of Odysseus fighting off sea monsters while Hermes just vibing with the beats is 👌👌👌

But after that the hype started to sizzle out for me. You might want to skip this part if you're not comfortable with harsh criticism because I WON'T hold back.

It's really backward but I like the Odysseus VS Charybdis draft more than the final production. Charybdis' roars and music are somehow less intimidating, which is a shame because I thought this would be one of the biggest struggles Odysseus will face. Even with awesome illustrative animatics, the scene wasn't as thrilling as I've expected.

The other songs got massive improvement from its draft version (on top of my mind I can think of "Thunder Bringer", "There Are Other Ways", "Little Wolf"), but I don't get why "Charybdis" didn't get up-graded as much like them. It's like a cake that was throughly baked but half decorated and it just didn't taste as good as I've hoped.

Then we have the Odysseus VS Poseidon part in "Get In The Water" and "Six Hundred Strikes". The first thought I had for GITW is this song sounds like all the draft snippets were mashed together without a smooth transition/connection between them. Jorge and Steven's performance is great, but there's not enough tension for me to dread for Odysseus. When Poseidon first met Odysseus in "Ruthlessness", the whole opening was terrifyingly good! And we didn't even have any illustration animatic back then! (that's not to say the GITW animatics were bad, they just can't salvage much when the song itself was already weak)

I wasn't impressed with Poseidon's Shatter The Ocean move either. It's supposed to be the Strongest AttackTM but it's less scary than when he and the Laestrygonians destroyed Odysseus' eleven ships with probably 1% of their power. It didn't even help when Poseidon looked like he's having a seizure with lights pouring out of his eyes and mouth during the transformation.

Odysseus being literally on the brink of death with the souls of his loved ones pulling him into the abyss is a gem in the rough, but because we've seen Odysseus almost drowning before in the end of the Thunder Saga, it's not as shocking as it should be. Furthermore, Poseidon could have instant-killed Odysseus right then and there but didn't really annoyed me. But I guess he just wanted Odysseus to slowly suffer while dying.

Right when I thought the progress will get better, it... gets down. I can go with Odysseus using wind to escape the water, but him wearing it like a jetpack is so comical it ruined the drastic of the situation. And I'm officially let down when Odysseus FUCKING ATTACKED Poseidon in "Six Hundred Strike".

What? Just... why with that choice?

Look, I'm not gonna fault Epic for making creative liberties from the source material (as said in the disclaimer), but I will criticize if that change contradict itself in the transformative work. And this is one of them.

Poseidon and the gods have been proven time and time again in the musical just how powerful they are. Their ominous and grandiose entrances, them striking fear and inferiority in our hearts just by singing. Even Circe, a low-level goddess, poses a constant threat to the crew and Odysseus had to get help from Hermes just to get a chance to corner her (and Hermes even joked that he can still die!)

Poseidon easily destroyed almost all of Odysseus' fleet. Odysseus was very avoidant of him, opting to go to the literal Underworld to find instruction on how to dodge him and sailing through Scylla's lair + willing to sacrifice six men for safe passage. And when Poseidon said he can drown all of Ithaca, it's not just bluffing, he would and could have done that. Yeah, the King of the Sea is THAT BIG of a treat.

So no, Odysseus isn't cool to attack Poseidon, he's being stupid. I'm not even cheering for him the whole him he fight, just groaning at how ridiculous the whole thing is. If Epic is more believable and sticks to WHAT IT HAD ESTABLISHED BEFORE, having a sudden burst of anger and choosing ruthlessness won't save Odysseus from one swipe of Poseidon's trident. Odysseus stood no chance against a one of the most powerful deity, even if he's the protagonist and love his family.

Not only that, Poseidon didn't even defend himself and was wounded by a mere human! And he just sat there and took all the blows and insults from Odysseus??? And he actually begged Odysseus to stop and agree to quell the storm to let him get home??? I'm not buy that bullshit. I'm more upset that a literal Olympian god was nerfed down than Odysseus having a Gary Stu moment. Give me a break, that try-hard moment to be cool and edgy just show how badly written the scene is.

What's the fucking point of hyping up how dangerous the gods are if a human can take one down? Tell me this isn't some Wattpad-y Greek myth retelling fanfic where the teenage Y/N sass her way to defeat an entire pantheon. Epic really traded its opportunity to be better for some cheap and out-of-the-blue dramas in this saga, dare I say it's even worse than Zeus' OOC attack on Athena. I'm very disappointed with that decision.

On an end note, the saga did have one saving point with the "After everything you've done, how will you sleep at night?" - "Next to my wife" lines. Odysseus knew he could be the most horrendous man ever and Penelope would still choose his side, that just show how powerful their love and faith in each other are.

But not enough to excuse all the terrible cinematic choices.

Urrgh

I was just kinda moody today and yesterday and I think I'm just. Stressed.

I keep feeling like I have a mountain of work that I can't get done because I can't focus on anything but art at home, so I'd have to stay after school to get anything done, but I stayed after for like 3 days and I hardly got anything done and I'm so upset about it. I feel like I can't get anything done in the timeframe I have and I can't even focus in class and get things done. I just feel like I'm falling more and more behind and it's all my fault that I can't catch up. I'm trying so hard.

I have 4 different comics/storybooks I need to make for class and they ALL demand some kind of quality and I am a perfectionist. And I hate it. I think it won't take long but it does! I feel like if I don't turn in something that looks good then I'm not really an artist. Not to mention finding inspiration and time! I am dedicating so much to my Unbreakable Bond comic for my class, and I'm already 8 hours into 3 pages of SKETCHES! Just. Sketches. And I feel like I need them to be perfect. I need to make 2 short books based off stories (3 little pigs and Juan Bobo) and dude I can't think of inspo... Ughhhhhhh I'm sad. I'm halfway done with a storyboard for my Spanish class tho... Urrgh perfectionism is a bitch

And I'm falling behind with normal assignments too! I have a month old PowerPoint that every time I think about I feel drained and I DONT KNOW WHY? why cant i make a stupid powerpoint on one of the 5 senses development in utero?? It was due over a month ago! And we're in the story unit in Spanish and my dumbass can't keep up with our pace and it's driving me CRAZY. I'm supposed to be fast with this, I've always been fast with this, how am I falling so far behind?? It takes so long for me to get through it and we keep moving on before I'm ready. And my graphic noveling class? I spend so much time on the actual projects that I neglect the busywork. Not to mention how my brain doesn't think the same way as the curriculum does, I like to plot out as I go! It keeps telling me to plot out with words, but I know the gist of what I want, it's just hard to translate into words and I don't know how to properly describe stuff. Also I straight up didn't start one of our first assignments because I can't flip images on our school computers and it made me mad

Thank you Earth Science for being NORMAL. It's my most rigid and lecture-based class and has the most traditional style of teaching. It's the easiest in the execution and I don't feel like I'm behind in it. It's the only one I feel normal in.

My child development class is very lax, I goof off tbh, it's so easy to waste time. With Spanish, I need a translator and my friend in that class is chatty so I procrastinate, and in my Graphic noveling class, I make too much for myself and end up drowning in it.

Hey guys! I made playlists for both Phoenix and Miles! (Explanation for certain songs and rant under the cut)

There's some songs I couldn't add to Miles' playlist (Like the song "Decree Of A Prosecutor" from Turnabout: The Musical) that I really wanted too, but they weren't on Spotify. I got some other songs in there to make up for the ones I couldn't get in there, though.

I tried to do a thing where the songs go in the order of their lives? Like, in chronological order from when they were kids to present day? I thought it'd be cool and it's much easier to wrap my head around than just placing songs on the playlist. I like it having an order.

I also did a thing where some of the same songs are on both their playlists, and where a lot of the same artists are on both playlists because I like symbolism and shit. Some songs I took from other's playlists cause I wanted to make them have an equal number of songs and some I took from animatics and shit too.

Also, a lot of these songs aren't on a lot of the regular Miles and Phoenix playlists you see... BUT I LOVE THEM AND THEY FIT PERFECTLY OK? I also tried to do a thing where I put songs that I personally think they would listen too.

(Also lmao I took some of these songs from Stan and Ford's from Gravity Falls playlists on Spotify cause they really work together like...)

I had an easy time finding songs for this motherfucker, and a lot of them are really good. There's a couple of songs I wanna explain though.

"The Great Pretender" is the most fucking Phoenix song ever. Like, holy shit. Kind of theater kid esc because "Pretending" yk? And it feels like he's always putting on a show and shit I don't know. Perfect.

"My Girl" and "Count On Me" are Pearl and Maya songs respectively. I see a lot of people do this thing where they make playlists for characters and only put songs based on the romantic relationships with that character and like. Uh. No? What about their family? What about their friends? People forget about that a lot and I don't like it so "My Girl" is kind of a Pearl being Phoenix semi-daughter song and "Count On Me" is a Maya best friend song.

OK SO, also "Poison" from Hazbin Hotel is on here and listen, I don't know if Phoenix would listen to this song BUT GODDAMN DOES IT GO WITH HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH KRISTOPH PERFECTLY. I put a lot of Krisnix/Kristoph songs on here ("Vampire" and "Wolf In Sheep's Clothing" mainly) because holy shit I love toxic tragic yuri.

Oh also, "Never Ever Getting Rid Of Me" is the most Phoenix/Feenie song ever. Everyone always goes on and on about how "When He Sees Me" is a Miles song and it is BUT NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT "Never Ever Getting Rid Of Me" GIRL IT'S RIGHT THERE HOW DO YOU NOT SEE IT?

Ya'll don't get how much "The Run And Go" is SUCH a "Turnabout Goodbyes" song. It's so fucking good and it fits my boy so well. Just please, PLEASE LISTEN TO IT.

"Where I Want To Be" is a huge Miles song. I imagine him signing it when he's about ready to do his whole "Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth Chooses Death" thing it's soooo good. Also it's from a musical called "Chess" GUYS COME ON.

"Business Man" is soooo him and Von Karma.

"Wait For It" Please for the love of God that is such a Miles song. You guys don't know how much Hamilton has affected my view of these gay lawyers.

"Puppet Boy" Also slaps so hard.

"Death As A Fetish" is also a really good one for him.

Sorry wha. Oh yeah talking about frames here sure I can do that. So funny thing is I’m very disorganized in my work ethic (if it wasn’t already glaringly obvious) and am working on two main animatics at the same time right now. It’s a struggle because I’ve gotten attached to both of these ideas; so I don’t want to feel like I’m dedicating all my attention to only one whilst discarding the other…even if logically that would be the most time efficient way to get things done

I can’t figure out if it would be more fitting to release the “lighthearted wholesome redemption arch/rekindled Meggy friendship musical number/boosting Mr. Puzzles morale” one first, or if I’d rather release the more “somber/introspective song ballad for Mr. Puzzles dealing with hardships throughout his life” one first. I think the framework of both premises could work. Since my last animatic was Meggy & Puzzles…and yet the recent SMG4 episode really highlighted Mr. Puzzles struggles and hidden insecurities. BOTH IDEAS ARE FITTING I DON’T KNOW WHICH TO WORK ON HELP JKSJSKSP. Do we choose to focus on cheerful fluff or depression angst—the age old dilemma

obviously the death montage was great, like great use of space, but i also LOVED how they spliced the lunar interlude into flashbacks between loops... 

and when they got the chalice??? with the memories and then meeting chalice!june??? that fucked so hard. that was really fuckin good

honestly overall i rly rly loved it. i mean /obviously/ but god it's so good huh. fuck. i do think some parts of the podcast hit harder (splicing ren's subplot into the banking thing was smart but i do prefer the magic lessons for diamonds bit... ren i was watching the whole time) but then some parts of the gn eleventh hour also really fucking own.

Hey! Um I’ve been absent for a long time and haven’t really posted about it. Although I think I’m ready to talk about it now? I think this is just a ramble about where my minds been at for some time.

Tw for chronic pain/illness, depression

As someone who deals with two chronic illnesses, it’s been hard to make content and talk online. My pain makes real life tasks such as work and chatting consume all of my energy. Even though I think about Digimon more than ever, it’s harder to find energy to go on tumblr/discord and talk about it.

In the past, the Digimon community has been an escape for me. A place where I don’t have chronic pain and depression. Unfortunately, these two issues have been strong enough to affect my activity in the online sphere, which makes me really sad. I had plans to do a redesign series for Tri (I love the movies, but I can admit the designs can be lacking near the end), an animatic for one of my favorite characters, and memes of the tamers and frontiers kids…but I just feel so worn out.

Right, so the main reason why I haven’t been here is unfortunately depression. Its gotten tough the past year and a half. I’m in therapy and have the Finch app to try combating this, but I’ve still had really rough periods that last around a month. My friends are aware and I’m currently doing better than a couple months ago, but I can’t help but feel absolutely exhausted from trying to do daily tasks.

Combine this with my chronic pain and I’ve just been a mess lol. I’ve had a couple of moments where I’ve snapped at irl friends from my frustrations and anger at my own limitations, which gave me lots of social anxiety with interacting and talking. I’m scared of being sad and negative all the time and dragging others down. I’m at a period where I want to reach out to others again and talk, but I’m scared.

I’m usually someone who thrives on social interactions and is great at reaching out to others online and irl to meet people, so it’s really weird for me to feel scared talking to others. I think my anxiety is now even worse online because I haven’t been supporting people here on tumblr and discord because I’ve been overwhelmed with the backlog of stuff I’ve missed. I feel so guilty. I’ve gotten notified about new chapters of my absolute FAVORITE fics, yet I can’t open a tab and give it a try.

I don’t know, I’m just kind of lost and trying to find balance in stormy waters. If I repetitively back online then disappear, that’s why.

I hope you’re doing well. I care about you all so I’m sorry if I came off as distant and upset. Thank you for reading my silly post 💛

what if i cried. man this song is so fucking SAD. and also not in a way. would work fantastic if one wanted to do a really lonesome depressing take on Otterslip's exile. im picturing an animatic with very few pov changes, just Otterslip maybe watching the stars or traveling through the outside of Fallenclan's territory, up until "you'll live forever tonight" and the piano afterwards, then i'm seeing lots of glimpses of his past life in Fallenclan, and the events leading up to Stormsight's death. ougghh

i've never heard this song OR this band before and it fucking RULES so first off thanks for pointing me in that direction. second OUGH i can see the Otterslip here. no lyrics in particular stand out to me but the Vibes... man the vibes they fit so well. i can see him singing this to Stormsight, esp since the "the same worms that eat me will one day eat you too" has such a threatening sound to it,,

MY HEART. god this is so good and it works so well. again no lyrics really stick out to me in particular but MAN. the stress on "free falling love addict" is getting to me. considering Stormsight fell to his death. ouch.

conclusion! these are all fantastic song choices and you are a fucking genius. i'm almost temped to something with Toba the Tura myself, except i know I'd never finish it lmao. and as a side note, if you've never heard the Chonny Jash covers of a lot of Miracle Musical songs i would highly recommend. they aren't for everyone but personally I like them better than some of the originals, even.

It just will, of is the natural part of the process of a fandom becoming popular. People know this song even if they think they don't know this song. It is so catchy it eats you from the inside out.

It's legally blonde and a musical which is prine queer culture. Fandom is queer culture. Plus it's a banger song with a lot of fun animatics. A lot of other "fandom" songs are kinda really sad (Two Birds cough cough) and this one is just silly goofy. It's also just the right decision.

There were SO MANY of these back in the day like i swear no m/m fandom ship was immune. Extra points if the character was actually european

haven't seen a lot of it, mostly that people like it, that it's made by people people really like and that it's gay (or at least people make it gay) so you know, good pick for me. and i just watched to animations/animatics on youtube with bad endings and bad endings fuck me up, so hopefully this is happier. intro is a fucking banger. also god has a fem voice? nice. accurate skin colour for the earliest humans. not surprised, but appreciated. making fun of theology and great banter? i love it.

"I first heard this song when I was hyperfixated on Ingo and Emmet, twin conductors from Pokemon Black and White. Ingo is in Pokemon Legends Arceus, but Emmet is not. Ingo has amnesia and cannot remember where he came from or who he left behind, if anyone. In my brain, this song could be in the perspective of either twin, but I mostly apply it to Emmet, usually because of the line "I'll love every version of you". Knowing both of their personalities, whenever they're reunited, Ingo would want to apologize for not remembering who Emmet was, despite having no control over that, and of course Emmet would be upset, but he also wouldn't care, because even if he has amnesia, he's still Ingo and Emmet missed him verrrrry much. They're both workaholics, and most of the fandom agrees that Emmet probably worked himself to death (not literally (most times)) after Ingo's disappearance, both at his job and at home, working to do anything he can to find what happened to Ingo and bring him home, which of course goes with the lyrics "I'll always find you again and again". Weekend WIP Game

WIP List: I've got 3 and they're all Mobius lol. First one is just a screenshot painting, it's actually further along but I wanted to show an earlier stage of my process. Second is a frame for an animatic that's a crossover of Loki with Jujutsu Kaisen. Super random crossover choice but I just really love the new opening theme for that show. Last one I posted a while ago, it's the watch ad illustration which I haven't made any progress on since last time.

Which WIP is your most complex? Definitely the animatic, I'm trying to do 16 frames and some have multiple characters and complicated backgrounds.

Do any of your WIPs involve you using a technique/style that you haven't used before? What inspired you to try it? Nothing that different, though the animatic will have some frames of characters from really high and low angles, which will be tough for me.

Which WIP do you expect will take you the longest? Again the animatic lol

Which WIP are you finding the most enjoyable to create? Maybe number 1 because it's the most relaxing, with screenshot paintings I don't need to think as much.

Do you have a favourite character to draw/stitch/paint/depict? Are they in many of your WIP projects? I think that's evident from these WIPs hahah

Which WIP do you experience the most self-doubt about. Why? Number 3 because I want to do it in a painted style, but I don't have an exact lighting reference for what I want to do. Lighting is always hard for me when I don't have exact references.

Have any of your WIPs been struck by the curse of creator's block? Not often, once I've started a WIP it's because I have an idea for how I want it to look and can keep chipping away at it. If I get artblock it's when I can't think of anything to start next.

Do any of your WIPs contain characters outside the main ship? How are you finding creating those? For the animatic I'm planning to include some other characters: B-15, O.B., Casey, and Brad! It'll be my first time drawing most of them and I'm looking forward to it.

What emotions are you hoping to convey through your WIPs? Haven't thought about this too much, for 2 and 3 I'm just hoping they'll look cool hahah. And 1 is sadness (hopefully this is evident if you recognize the screenshot it's from)

Are there any features/details you are finding challenging in your WIPs? Mobius' hair in number 1 is hard since I'm trying to render it realistically.

Which WIP has the most complex shading/colouring? It'll be 3 but I haven't started that yet.

Which WIP do you have the highest expectations for? 2 I'm hoping will be really neat, but I think it also has the highest chance to not work out.

Okay so this is going to sound silly because I got really nice comments on it but I’m gonna say my pmv. It took a TON of work and it’s sitting at not very many views or comments on YouTube which is to be expected but also :,( I’m sad I spent so many hours on something and it kind of disappears into the void

8. What's an old project idea that you've lost interest in

Oh MAN I had a hard time with this one. I learned how to do digital art because I wanted to make a hadestown tma animatic but since I was terrible at digital art it never went anywhere (I had a really hard time transitioning from traditional to digital). Now that I actually know how to use the medium I was like I should finish the animatic to like honor past me who hated digital art. But then I realized. That’s like. Soooooooo much work. For a show I’m not hyperfixating on anymore

Oh my god, it’s been a hot minute since I did a reaction post. But I just reminded myself about the 43 frickin cents audio. This is going to be with a Tiktok Creator MC.

Mammon: 43 fRICKEN CENTS!!! *screams* I need a SUGAR DADDY! At this I’m ready to fricken plastering my body on the sidewalk for some loose change! Spareee change!(x2) Anyone got some… Spareee change! walkin in a winter wonderland~.

Lucifer: He can hear this through the door to his study, he stops doing paperwork and starts rubbing his temples, choosing not to engage with him at this time. He knew he was doing this because he got his card taken away, and he was not about to let Mammon break him. He had no idea this was a tiktok audio skit that he was doing, so he thought it was Mammon being Mammon when he’s broke.

Leviathan: Was doing a livestream when it happened, and he just slapped man with a receipt for new headset, because his old headset he uses for streaming got stolen… and broken… by Mammon. He was just in the middle of explaining why he didn’t have his headset when Mammon started screaming the audio. Levi pressed his lips together and tried his hardest to react. It wasn’t until he gently facepalmed that he started snort laughing, trying and failing to not break on stream. He was gonna kill Mammon later, cause he knew exactly where this was from.

Satan: Was another person who thought this was just Mammon when was broke; trying to guilt Lucifer to give him wallet AND his card back. But ever since MC got him addicted to tiktok scrolling, Satan had just recently come across that audio except it was an animatic of the Lord of Fools, and sighed an about to laugh sigh. He was tempted to record himself going down in the middle of Mammon’s rant and throw a Payday bar at him, and tell him “You’re not you when you’re begging.”

Asmodeus: Is also a tiktok queen of beauty and make up. He was in the middle of doing a face mask when Mammon started screamingly reciting the audio. Asmo was trying so hard to not laugh, he got through the sugar daddy part, but broke on the next part. He started laughing and then began screaming cause his mask was ruined. He got himself some rope and began to chase Mammon around the house to try and string him up.

Beelzebub: Was raiding the fridge when he saw Mammon come in and start screaming this in the kitchen, holding receipt. He was watching Mammon as he paced back and forth continuing his rant. Beel was entertained as he got second dinner and a show, even though he didn’t know what the heck was going on.

Belphegor: Was up in the attic bedroom when he could barely make out what Mammon was shouting. He groaned as he took a pillow and put it over his head to try and drown the noise out. He didn’t care much for tiktok, only using it to help him drift off to sleep. And it wouldn’t be a day later when he would discover the og tiktok and it all became clear. He would softly chuckle as remembered yesterday, and grinned at the aftermath.

MC: Mammon knew this was one of your favorite TikToks and did it because you were feeling so sad that you holed up in your room. It worked, you woke from your nap to hear Mammon doing your favorite tiktok audio, and you cheered up instantly. You began laughing in bed, and then heard the scream that happened after the last singing part. Asmo began chasing Mammon around the house for ruining his skin care routine, and you were just silently laughing because Mammon really just “Did it for the meme.” You gave Mammon a big hug and a cheek kiss for cheering you up.

I saw a post from @5x14 reccing their favorite spn amvs and I had to hop immediately on that train because if there's anything I love it's a fanvid. The oldest spn vid I've got saved on youtube is from 13 years ago so! There will def be some classics in here.

Cosmic Love (Team Free Will vs the Agents of Fate) by Affably Evil. Speaking of classics! This vid highlights how dang effective the angel plotline was very early on in spn, especially when the show had the budget to back it up with sfx.

i gave you my heart by Soledad. This is a destiel vid, but it's also just a really fucking beautiful Cas study, hitting the 'too much heart was always Castiel's problem' note hard. Soledad is so good at layering dialogue over paralleled scenes in the most soul-crushing way, and that happens so beautifully in this video.

i left, but you didn't stop me by cyanica. This has every meaningful line of destiel-related dialogue (pre-confession) coming at you in the span of 3 and a half minutes and BOY is that effective. The appeal of Dean as a character is that he's sooooo sad and self-loathing, even if half the time you hate him for his choices. He makes those choices because he's just a sad lil guy! His walls are hiked up so high, no one can ever get in, but the thing is he WANTS people in. This video perfectly encapsulates that, but as a warning it will also make you bummed out all over again that, after everything, he got the ending he always thought he would.
