I will never stop thinking about the fact that the Hunger Games was canonically a drunk hypothetical. It wasn’t some great government scheme.

So many bad dystopian novels that have some crazy world building premise make it seem like some great creation from powerful minds. Some great construction. Think of City of Ember with its box or Divergent with its weird scientists(??) or The Selection with its bachelor premise, they are always “grandly designed.” Even in Catching Fire with the Quarter Quells the Games give off an air of grand planning.

But the hunger games were a HYPOTHETICAL. A crazy, extreme, what if. They were never supposed to exist. They were never supposed to be real.

Who wouldn’t drink themselves to death knowing they thought of the idea in the first place?

You know I'll be first to point out if/when Crocodile does a little Luffyism, so let's take a moment to appreciate it when Luffy does a little Crocodile-ism;

not to invite fanwars but ive been noticing this trend (especially amongst certain george fans) of blaming peoples perception of things based on the fanculture. and as much as i hate to get involved with drama, especially since im seeing it play out in such a niche situation, but i know this is happening in other places. so: here it is, katya's advice to fans everywhere.

stop being fucking mean and policing what people post. thats it. people making fucking memes is not what makes people hate whatever you're a fan of. you're just mean. and no one likes you. if you dont like peoples posts, block them. its basic fucking fandom etiquette. and i'm not talking about not calling people out for actual harmful behaviors, i'm talking about people literally doing harmless fun. because if you're going to vaguepost and wish harm on people, you're just mean.

Random Damian Wayne Headcanon

Does anyone else get the feeling that, in all seriousness, Damian would be an attention- demanding drunk? Because I am completely convinced that Drunk Damian acts exactly like a cat that desperately wants attention but doesn't want anyone to know that they desperately want attention. (I take no criticism on this, btw.)
