ok, i know i've done this analysis before though it has been an addition to another post of mine and most people only see the first post - soooo i'm gonna list the main points on here again

ok first i was like - this looks like fyodor, right? like the hair, the wound, the white clothes, and ofc the fact that he is nailed to a cross. fyodor sees himself as a kind of messiah, so it would make sense for him to think that he's dying for the sins of others. he also lies his actions and his life into god's hands as in "he's doing what god would want". come to think of it, fyodor's death might be fyodor's way of "cleansing the earth of sin" but i don't know if he sees it that way. anyways, i'm going to explain now why i think this is fyodor up there and why i think this scene already foretold fyodor's death.

now, there's so much to find in the light novel. we see fyodor at the end of the untold origins adaption and this might be a very obvious hint that fyodor's death is foretold in untold origins already. but the stage play reveals a lot, too.

first of all the stage play's summary is "an angel who murders", specifically an angel that kills their own kind.

that sounds an awful lot like fyodor doesn't it? he wants to kill all ability users after all. Now, i see fyodor in the murderer here, but i also see him in the victim bc of the following quote.

fyodor has been stabbed (not with a knife but yk), he fell with the helicopter, and he was poisoned. The heavy water could possibly count as strangulation but that might be me reaching. while most of this could also connect to dazai, he was shot by fyodor, not stabbed. it could potentially also relate to sigma, who fell with the elevator, was strangled by teruko and one could potentially say he was poisoned by fyodor's memories. also there is nothing unique about the ways they are murdered. fyodor sees sigma as an ordinary man. i'm kinda torn on this.

"if it was an angel, they would use the devine blade in their hand" like come on...

it's said in the stage play that there are 12 victims. someone in the other post mentioned that there were 12 apostles, though i don't know how this would make much sense in this context other than the connection to fyodor, that sees himself as jesus 2.0

ofc ofc there's also the judas x jesus dynamic between nikolai and fyodor here. nikolai being the one that wants to kill fyodor and "hires" dazai to do just that. though ofc nikolai regrets it immediately. also if we connect the 12 apostles that would be the 12 victims of the play or rather of fyodor, nikolai would've been beyond those victims, too. he was supposed to die.

also, i know this is about murakami BUT "the killer became the victim"!!!

And now I’m thinking of a beauty and the beast au.

Like Soap can act just as “monstrously” and is probably more destructive in general than Ghost but he’s regarded as the beauty, And Ghost sure he can act the monster but he’s more self contained and wasn’t even responsible for his curse.

Jonny would love Simon whether he looked like a beast or not and Ghost ’d also probably view his form as keeping him safe from people (if he’s a scary monster people will leave him tf alone). Soap will not leave the poor bastard alone (if he didn’t want to hand around, there is no way you could keep him in place).

Roba cursed Ghost with his last breath but it didn’t take full effect because technically he killed then cursed Simon not Ghost, So his body changed not his mind.

Oh god all I can think of is them singing different songs together and that’s how the start bonding because humans will always find a way to make music. (Different universe but now the dancing and the dreaming is stuck in my head so thank you for that)

a "showmance" is basically a romance that starts during the run of a show, sometimes between leads and sometimes between people in the rest of the cast and crew! there are a bunch of real life couples who met on set or in rehersals and got together either during or after a show's run! (not all of them are Great or healthy, but thats a whole different story lmao)

but for this, i was thinking of simon riley who was a well established, well liked west end singer and actor (the west end is the equivalent of broadway but for the uk) but had to leave the stage due to some undisclosed reason. maybe family troubles, maybe something else, i dont know yet this is still very nebulous in my mind XD but after everything settles, he ends up joining an off-west end production with an up and coming actor - john mactavish! its basically shaping up to be like a sweet, fluffy, slightly angsty (because when isnt there angst lmao) fic! price is directing, nikolai is conducting maybe? roach is in the sound and lighting booth or a stagehand behind the scenes. yeah!

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST AUS ARE MY FUCKING JAM OKAY its my favorite fairy tale of all time and the animated version is my favorite disney movie of all time and i have to make at least one batb au of my current fandom (also, as a side note, if anyone finds a ghoap batb au please link it to me ive been searching and i havent found any yet T-T)

i absolutely agree that soap might seem like the stereotypical "beauty" role in that hes got the looks and the smarts and the charisma, but that man is a Menace who does not take shit standing down! >:D my favorite interpretations and tellings of batb are when both people have something to learn from the other. for ghost, its that he isnt a monster despite what everyone else has told him in the past and he is worthy of love and respect and dignity despite what hes done. and for soap, its that he doesnt have to react to every little thing with anger, that he is more than his looks, and that he has value outside of what he can provide others. they make each other better <3

Try list any Octo-Agents and think of an Episode you Think give them a Shining Moment

W O O F this took a while– I was thinking long and hard about this because there are SO MANY good moments and episodes 😅, and so many agents– it was difficult, but I’m happy with my answers 👀

Ranger Marsh’s Shine Episode is definitely The Monitor Lizards. I LOVE this episode, it’s one of my favourites in the whole series so far—not just because of the events in it, but as a concept. I LOVE the callback to the Great Swamp Search!! I watched the 2nd season blind, and seeing all these familiar faces was SUCH a fun surprise. It’s good for Ranger Marsh as a character, because it actually shows him doing his job as a Ranger, not as an Octo-Agent. It also reinforces the fact that he truly cares for and is friends with these creatures, even if they are invasive, and that he's willing to travel to check in on them. This is another episode that also proves (to me) that the writers know they’re dealing with an older audience for the show, and are more likely to delve into solid lore and continuity. This episode makes me really hopeful for more of that.

Natquik’s Shine Episode, WITHOUT QUESTION, is The Red Fox. Honestly I feel like I don’t need to explain why, but I will because I like talking ✨: Natquik is my favourite Octo-Agent, but overall we haven’t actually gotten that many episodes dedicated to him yet. The Red Fox gives us a close and personal look into what Natquik is like by himself (I love episodes where characters are alone 👀), how he deals with problems (by ignoring them until they get worse—which is interesting... *stares at Barnacles*...), and even hints toward his family, by showing us his family portraits, and leaving us wondering, “Where are they?” – There are so many moments I love in this episode, from when he first discovers the kits, decides to help them stay warm, rushes to protect Barnacles, to his bittersweet goodbye at the end. It’s all so perfect.

Tracker absolutely shines in The Missing Lake. Honestly, he shines a LOT in Above and Beyond, considering he never got his own episode in the main series, and was only in Operation Deep Freeze for two scenes. AnB has been really good to Tracker, and I’m so grateful they decided to make him an Agent. The Missing Lake sticks out to me the most, because for the most part he is by himself (and I’ve already mentioned my love for that <3), and unlike all his other episodes, we get to really see him be responsible and use his Polar Scout skills in action. He’s often portrayed as a follower, who just goes along with whatever he's told to do, but he takes charge twice in this episode: when he offers to help Rowan, and when he stays behind to save Buck. Love that for him.

Calico Jack. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Calico Jack....... I could talk forever about this funky old cat man. He doesn’t just shine, he GLOWS in every episode he’s in—but alas, for the sake of this post I will be focusing on The Harlequin Duck. I love the showing of his gentle parental instincts in this episode, and his singing; since we know he canonically has a theme song, that I headcanon he wrote himself. I think far too much, and often, about how he legit panicked when he realized the egg was missing. How his first instinct was to hide that fact from Captain Barnacles. He was terrified, having a full blown panic attack on screen. He apologizes to the mother duck with such genuine solace, and promises to get it back “On [his] honour as a pirate!” ...Which is extremely significant to me, considering Kwazii was the first character to EVER say the phrase: “On me honour as an Octonaut!” in The Flying Fish after Inkling’s book was lost – and of course as a final touch, I adore seeing him work with Pete to get the egg back. The way he tosses the egg in the air, fully trusting that Pete will catch it... they’re so in sync, just as pirate and parrot are meant to be ;)

Paani... I feel like there’s so much more to him than what we’ve seen so far, it almost feels unfair to assign him a “Shine Episode”. So, instead of highlighting a single episode, I’ll quickly talk about three that stick out (PS: you might sense a theme 🤣):

The Barnacle Geese - Uncle Paani. I like the “I’ll be my own uncle” joke, and the Edgar Allen Poe reference. I think Paani’s determination to help the chick (who doesn’t seem to want help) is nice to watch, and helps to prove his worthiness as an Agent—which is always fun considering his hesitance when Barnacles tried to recruit him in S1E1. In a way, this episode also makes Paani seem more like Barnacles. See my old post analyzing the show’s intro. (*Stares at the episode title* 👁️👁️)

The Arabian Camels - Take a shot of cocoa every time I mention my love for episodes where characters are forced to be by themselves. This one is especially interesting to me though, because we know that Paani was alone, for a very long time, before he met the Octonauts. He has no trouble working and getting by alone, and we get to see him exhibiting that, while being out of his element (a dry desert) at the same time; and that’s really cool.

The Lonely Frog - ...Y’know how they constantly make the Octonauts/Agents meet creatures with similar issues to them? Yeah. *Stares at the episode title.* *Stares at the end scene where he says “Kinda like when I met you guys!” before obnoxiously jumping into the lake, in response to Shellington+Peso saying “They never even knew each other existed before! [...] and now it’s like they’ve known each other all their lives!”* *STARES MORE AT THE EPISODE TITLE,,* *wonders how long Paani was actually alone before becoming an Agent...*

Pinto, where art thou? He wasn’t in S2 at all, which was a bit disappointing since we just saw him get an Octowatch in S1. I would’ve expected him to be pressing that button every chance he got, giving us a “Penguin who cried Octoalert” episode. But anyway,, The Curious Penguin is the PERFECT episode for Pinto. It shows his personality really well, and I love how his distractions and the things he learns and discovers help him to save the day in the end. I think Pinto (just like Kwazii) is a good portrayal of ADHD, and how he just needs to be in the right environment to succeed. Each time Pinto messes up or loses focus, isn’t because he was left alone and couldn’t be trusted—it’s because he was left alone and understimulated. So when he’s thrown into a sudden high-stakes situation, all of his focus hones in on the moment, and he’s able to save Dashi and Paani by himself.

AND, because you didn’t say it had to be an Above and Beyond moment, I want to throw some love at The Oarfish episode from the main series. In this episode, Pinto no longer views Peso as “less” than an Octonaut, and is so excited to watch him do his job—it’s really cute!! His impulsivity is once again a positive thing—granted, it seems to annoy Peso a little, but when you think about it he kinda saved the day by being impulsive. He sounded the Octoalert without permission, which let the captain know to come back before their radio signal cut out, and by being unafraid of the “monster” and swimming outside, he was able to discover what the problem was so that Peso could help. He did good.

Pearl.... I love Pearl a lot, but I can’t think of one specific episode that comes to mind for her. I love The Pupfish because it introduces Peri to AnB, and I love how he teaches her how to tie a knot, so she can save the algae (and Glen). I like The Bison episode because it’s interesting watching her not doing something with algae for once, and The Pink Glacier because her and Kwazii’s dynamic was something I didn’t know I needed, but now I want more of (/p).

Ryla. Possibly controversial opinion: I liked Ryla in The Caves of Sac Actun, more than I like her now in Above and Beyond. I know she’s only gotten 3 episodes so far, but she’s really missing something. Sac Actun gave us lore on her right off the bat: she’s old friends with Dashi, she’s a skilled cave explorer, she’s spunky, she’s purple. AnB hasn’t given us much yet. So far her only shtick is caves, and that’s getting a bit repetitive. Consider every moment she has in Sac Actun as her “Shining Moment”, because honestly that whole movie is a 10/10.

Koshi,,,, she hasn't gotten that much yet, but I'm gonna say The Longfin Eels is her Shine Episode. I like the way she narrates the whole episode, because it's very in-character. Plus we know she’s literally writing about this adventure in her diary as she's telling it, as if it were a mystery book. She reminds me of narrators from 1920s film noirs, and that’s cool. Also! Honorary mention of the scene when she gets her Octowatch: I loved that for her <3

Min is below the cut, because my answer for her includes some very heavy SEASON 5 SPOILERS, including SCREENSHOTS:

All of Min's appearances so far are dear to my heart. However, my favourite has to be her own introductory episode: The Giant Chinese Salamander.

The Rainforest Rescue is another amazing episode for Min—she’s a wonderful character on her own, of course—but I think we can all agree that she and Inkling are very adorable together (no matter how you interpret their relationship).

When Above and Beyond aired on Netflix, there was a lot of confusion around Min, from the younger audience and other fans who hadn’t seen S5. The Giant Chinese Salamander introduces Min with a 20-minute special; showing her in high-stakes action with Kwazii, bonding with the Octonauts, being an all-around Cool Person™, and a flashback of how she met Inkling when they were younger.

She saved his life. He was thrown far inland by a rough storm, and was trapped until she found him. I honestly headcanon that Min partially (if not outright) inspired Inkling to form the Octonauts, and this moment could have literally sealed the fate of EVERYTHING we know.

But! Until S5 comes out, that's all I've got to say~ 👋💝

intestines in safe stuff are super underrated to me cuz its like the same nice pressure of being swallowed but way way longer and v.olo can talk during this one! n he could say how much he trusts us to go into a sensitive spot like that and how he loves the feeling and rubs where we are sometimes tracing our path into his lower belly uuuuu I want him to rly enjoy us in there!!

I wanna be teleported out before it gets to the weird point but theres hours of time before that happrns cuz its slow and long and its so relaxing being gently squeezed around deep in him and knowing its totally safe for us and rly enjoyable for him >w<

uuu hed be surprised how much he likes us in there when we get swallowed the first time! and when we calm down a little bit and get used to where we are n what happened we see its kinda nice in here and V.olo gently presses on his stomach to see if were ok and uuuuu he’s so kind with us!! ❤️

omg yes we spend so much free time just talking and relaxing with him and his team and our mons can play together!! n maybe V.olo holds on to our po.keba.lls and takes care of our team while were in his belly so they get to know him and its like one big happy group!! a pile of us and him and both our mons while we relax and chat abiut ruins after we’re let out and unshrunk sounds like alot of fun too!

if thats what happens then m.erman v.olo would be super fun to journey with! its like we have a warm personal pool in there safe from cold water and deep ocean pressure and we get to look at what he found later and he gets a partner to talk to and not be alone!! hed ask if we wanna join him to look for artefacts and when we say yes hed get us in his mouth with a quick HOMF and swallow us right down so excitedly cuz he loves spending time with us! omg youre right he’d be so pretty with golden scales!! theyd be rly pretty with his grey eyes

Halfsize is so special to me omg!! It’s a lot more effort for him but that means finally getting us down is way more satisfying for him too!! uuuu licking his lips and telling us how pleasantly full he is now and massaging our spot a little as soon as were all the way inside his first stomach just so it’s a little extra comfy for both us and him while he waits uuuuu >w< that sounds rly cute btw id love to hear him humming happily from our new spot in him! We could probably feel him humming and sighing all pleased with this too! uuu him snoozing with a hand over his belly or reading a book until we finally get squished into his tail stomach with a sigh of happiness from him is good too cause he had to work alot to get us down and that has to make him sleepy. and it’s a good thing he’d be solitary cuz then he doesn’t have to get interrupted while he’s enjoying his full belly of his favorite human ❤️ and we get to be in there a long while too getting rested on and rubbed at and a little kiss!!!! >w<

Mmmmm I agree! We could totally stay in his belly to heal as he does his errands or takes a nap, it'd be very relaxing and we'd all benefit from it! And it's true, his G.inkgo G.uild uniform can definitely hide us away since it's so cozy and large x3 we're absolutely pretty tiny too, we'd be undetectable basically all the time xD

Ngl, intestines stuff are definitely underrated in vore. Personally I love the thought of travelling through the long tunnel of the small intestine, surrounded by all the villi 🥺👉👈 I'm a big endosoma fan, and simply the idea of exploring someone else's digestive track even on deeper levels makes me very happy xD

So I wouldn't mind if we did this with V.olo's permission lol, he'd probably find it soothing and rub our spot a lot along our way x3 also yeah we'd teleport out before the weird point, but I think being in his intestine would be something very cute, and the squeezing would feel like a hug from him! ❤️

Yeah, his first time eating us would be a bit confusing at the start but then we'd all find ourselves kinda comfortable in the situation 🥺💕 he'd stroke his stomach to reassure us that everything is fine, and that we're perfectly safe inside of him! He's really a kind soul 🥺❤️

Oh I like the idea! We could chill in his belly, maybe to rest after a long day, while he takes care of our p.okemon team as well! They could all play together, he'd give them treats and pets and then the cuddle pile begins xD We'd definitely introduce him to our mons before he eats though, I imagine them going full protective mode if they saw him swallow us down with no context at all xDD and it'd be always lovely to hear him discuss ruins and ancient myths, especially when our beloved p.okemon are there with us!

Omg, now that I think about it, both m.erman!V.olo and n.aga!V.olo sound a bit lonely ;-; the former would be more curious and eager to show us the ancient artefacts he gathered from the bottom of the sea, and take us with him as he talks about them and looks for more 🥺 he knows a good way to keep up safe as he swims underwater, and omgggg, the NOMF as he sends us down would be so adorable!!!

Here's some shit about Calec you may or may not know!

(I had typed out an even longer reply but it just ended up being his backstory so i deleted it lmao. I still couldn't rein myself in though)

His preferred weapon is a 12ft fauchard he named Celeste. He crafted her in a fit of fury that he has very little memory of, over the course of several days, from the shattered remains of his missing brother's holy weapon. He was only an apprentice blacksmith at the time and the craftwork was well over his skill level.

Celeste is an intelligent weapon and can speak to him telepathically. A secret part of him has always hoped that the voice is in some way his brother Max, helping him along. Less so lately... since Celeste has been goading him to do some pretty dark things, stoking his rage and making him dangerous. She'd always been a bit of a troublemaker but he'd had no trouble ignoring her goading until recently. Now he finds himself on occasion waking from a sort of blackout state, after the rage has settled, with blood on his hands he doesn't remember spilling (and heads in his lap he doesn't remember decapitating)

I gave him a connection with my other character, Rehgar, when i first built him as a way to make him easier to incorporate into the campaign if I ever had to swap. Except my shipper brain does what it does and now Calec has a massive crush on him (oops). Rehgar has been in the jungles of the Mwangi Expanse for going on 6 months now and Calec is the one who stepped in for him in his absence but he's been starting to worry. He hasn't heard from him in a while and he has no magic of his own to reach out so he's just...waiting. For a sending or a Dream Message or something to tell him he's okay.

He sent his dad off to the Mwangi after Rehgar, in an attempt to have someone look out for him, but he hasn't heard from Dad either and since he hasn't been home in some time he can't even check in.

Also, him leaving home was a bit of a....hmm. He didn't tell his mom he was leaving, because he worried she'd find a way to keep him home (she's a powerful spellcaster in her own right and she has her ways), so the one time he did pop back after he'd left, he avoided home as much as he could.

He's a very talented blacksmith, and if he lived in a bigger city he'd likely be more known across Golarion(his training level is Master, mechanically). As it is, he works in his little town of 1300 people, hammering out tools for his buddy the wainwright and weapons and armour for the adventurers who pass through for a pittance.

He crafted all his own armour, and so was able to tailor it all to his...unique proportions. There's flaps in the back that open up to make room for the wings he can summon ("summon" is a bit flowery for what he does. What he actually does is rapidly grow a full set of wings over the course of about 6 seconds, that then violently explode from his back, and then die and decay just as quickly when the time is up. They've left behind some pretty gnarly scars), and special plates to protect his legs and tail. The helmet is shaped around his horns, and comes in two pieces to make it easier to fit over them

All of his tattoos are magical. The bands around his neck, arms, legs and tail and the runes down his ribs are guarding sigils that protect him from danger, that his sister Freya tattooed on him some time ago, as well as the star on his hand that always shows him what direction he's facing.

He's been learning to do tattoos too on his downtime, and is almost ready to start doing his own magical tattoos! (one more level~!)

He likes wearing clothes that expose his arms and shoulders, in part because he's just proud of them and he thinks it makes him look good, and part because the less covered he is, the less repairs he has to do on ripped shirts when his wings come out. And he does all his own patching and repairing, even if he's not nearly as skilled with a needle and thread as he is with a hammer and tongs.

He's the second youngest of 5 kids, and with Milo being ~20 years his junior he was the baby of the family for a very long time. Having been left to be caretaker for so long while the rest of his family carried on adventuring, he's come to see Milo as his own kid.

I've already seen some artists turn sonic and his friends into inkling/octolings.

Personally, I think most of his friends would be inklings, this includes Amy and him.

Merging the two (and I'm mostly basing off of sonic forces/the IDW comics I've read so far), I'd imagine they'd have something similar to the NSS but with the resistance/restoration HQ and such.

Nothing much would change besides swapping species, but I think maybe a change of ability for sonic? Idk, I think he'd just be a super fast squid I guess XD.

Their dynamic wouldn't change much from canon either. Childhood friends to lovers, one obsessed over the other and said other annoyed until further notice (as in, he starts to develop feelings as well XD).

But merging with the splatoon lore is an entirely different thing. I think there's only room for one major hero, unless....unless Sonic's crew isn't in Inkadia or the Splatlands and is located somewhere else entirely, we haven't explore the whole world, yet, after all. We didn't even know of the Splatlands till splatoon 3 came out, since it was its main location, and, looking at the map they gave out, its probably a couple hours trip between each map.

So it is entirely possible they have a while HQ somewhere else in the map. I'll place it not so far from the splatoon character's locations for a possible meet up.

Eddman, I'm thinking he'd be more of uh...either human admirer or a creation from a human or the only human standing after trapping himself to survive the great flood.

A fishing hook as an accessory, said to be worn by single fish folk as a way to attract a potential partner/signal that they're single and ready to mingle XD. I'm thinking of Amy wearing it when she was younger and obsessing over sonic, until other guys starting to go at her, in frustration, she stops wearing it cuz it was supposed to be to attract HIM, not anyone else! The absurdity!

But then, years later, when they're a little older, Amy finds Sonic wearing it, but only when she's around and she's like "is this finally my chance?"

“You shot me!” From Ed to Stede

"So, this is it then..." A pause, his voice falling, growing quiet as he moves closer to the other. "This is how it comes to an end." His words sound final, but there's no sadness to be found in his voice. And then...

BANG!

Stede's finger pulls back on the trigger and the bullet connects with Ed's flesh, a scream of agony echoes around them, followed by another, but this one of horror.

Stede jumps back when he realizes what he's done. He shot him! He actually accidentally shot Ed! "OH GOD, I'M SORRY!" Stede throws the gun aside in panic and drops to his knees, untying the bandana from around his neck and pressing it to the bleeding wound on the side of Edward's foot to try and stop, or at least slow, the bleeding.

Oh god, oh god. He really shot Ed!? He wasn't supposed to shoot Ed! He was supposed to shoot the targets only, not the man training him. Not the man that was helping him learn. He did shoot them, though. He shot almost all of them which earned him praise from his lover and a reward that came in the form of a kiss. His adrenaline was pumping, coursing through his veins with every pull of the trigger, with every target that was shattered upon impact, with every compliment and praise and flirtatious remark. Oh, Stede felt so good. And when Edward grabbed him by the shirt and called him sexy, Stede figured the training had come to an end and he was suddenly being kissed something fierce. Both of his hands reacted and he somehow forgot he still had the gun in his hand and... well, this. Edward's injured foot.

"I-I'm sorry. Oh my god, I'm s-sorry." Injuring Edward wasn't exactly new for Stede, but this wasn't part of the training. He didn't demand to be shot like he did stabbed. "W-why'd you have to kiss me while I still had the gun in my hand, you nut!?" He questions like it's Ed's fault. It wasn't, of course, but Stede wasn't always the most careful with dangerous weaponry. Many of his kills came from accidents, after all. "We should go see Roach. Come on." He stands, turns and heads for the door leading inside of the ship, then he stops and curses himself. "Shit. Sorry." And runs back to Ed, taking his arm and putting it around his shoulders for support.
